During his State of the Union (SOTU) Address, President Biden made a very dangerous, false claim (watch the exact moment he said it HERE).– saying that:
“the vaccines that saved us from COVID are now being used to beat cancer – turning setback into comeback.”
Fact checkers were quick to point out that Biden does NOT seem to understand that it is the vaccine's delivery system, not the vaccine itself, that is under consideration for other forms of treatments. His false claim could lead individuals to seek additional boosters under the mistaken belief that the COVID-19 vaccine can combat cancer, contrary to the actual evidence.
