The Sun’s, warmth, radiance and power amplifies the energy of the other two planets, here first Mercury, then Saturn, the first time in 28 years in this zodiac sign of Pisces occurs on February 28th.
However, ironically Mercury is in detriment in Pisces, but how can we make this event work for us in constructive way despite this and Saturn's close attentions?
Well, Saturn is the planet of time, as well as of structure and cycles, so when it entered Pisces on March 7th 2023, it signalled the beginning of the end of a journey which started in 1996 as it entered Aries 28 years ago. It will return to that sign in May 2025 (for an initial 5 month stay) before returning again in January 2026.
Pisces is the sign of culmination, the final zodiac sign, and where we can consider all the lessons learned through the previous eleven signs. Saturn is also linked to Karma, so we will collectively reap the Karma of these past years, where there has been too much preoccupation with the material world, perhaps most obviously shown by how broken the property market is world wide.
Pisces is also about reflection, healing, spirituality and the psychological sphere. Because Saturn is linked to being industrious, we all need to work at embracing our senses, and the shadow side of ourselves. This means being open to our vulnerabilities and embracing them, so any form of inner work, personal development, counselling and so on can be very valuable at this time.
With Mercury in the mix, its propensity to be illusive and avoiding in Pisces, needs to be challenged, and instead the more we find our voice about our feelings, emotions and fears, the better.
