Thank Faye for telling us your story. Keep up with her and Majestic HERE.
Summary:
Faye loved horses and felt confident riding them, but a tragic car accident left her paralyzed. Doctors said she would only have the use of one arm and would never ride again. For seven long years after the accident, Faye couldn't bear to be around horses and tried to put them out of her mind completely.
As time passed, Faye began to accept her new life and realized that horses were still a part of her. She decided to train a young horse named Majestic to be comfortable around her wheelchair. It took a few weeks of patience and hard work, but eventually, something clicked – Majestic and Faye developed an unbreakable bond.
Now, Majestic is always by Faye's side. When he's scared, he runs to her for comfort. Faye believes that Majestic saved her life by giving her back a piece of who she was before the accident.
To make riding possible again, Faye had a special carriage made that uses a car winch to lift her into the seat. When she's driving the carriage with Majestic, Faye doesn't feel any different from anyone else. Majestic's big personality shines through – he's a character, both elegant and goofy, with the loving nature of a Labrador. For Faye, Majestic is more than just a horse – he's her best friend, her source of freedom, and the one who gave her life back to her.
