I’m a truck owner who lives in the midwest and about 6 months ago I was looking around for an off road fabrication shop for some skid plates and a couple of molle panels. There were quite a few to choose from and all of their websites said how great they were, so I had to select one of them and see how things went. Out of all the online shops available, I tried Rago, mainly because I’m a Navy veteran and they offer a 10% discount to ex-military.
To give you a little background on Rago, they’re based here in the US and they’ve been operating since the beginning of 2013, so they’re relatively new in the greater scheme of things. Mario Rago was the founder and he’s like me in that he served in the Navy.
Ok, so now onto some of the reasons I loved what I got from them.
High Quality Products
If there’s one thing that needs to be on point with an off road fabrication shop, it’s the quality of the products that they make. They certainly delivered on that front, as I’m delighted with the durability and quality of everything I bought from them. They come with a lifetime warranty (with some stipulations of course) and from what I can see, they were manufactured to an extremely high standard.
I sit in the middle when it comes to mechanical know-how, meaning that I’m no stranger to a wrench and an oil change, but I need some guidance with some jobs. I didn’t need to worry though, as their website had lots of installation guides that I was able to follow and it meant that it saved me from having to have a pro do it for me. Great stuff.
Awesome Service & Free Shipping
I had a few questions before I bought the products I got from Rago and so I called their customer service number. From the first moment, the advisor I spoke to couldn’t do enough for me and I left the call with my questions answered, as well as a few extra tips I hadn’t even asked for. I can tell you that they went above and beyond what I’d expect from an off road fabrication shop.
I was also very pleased to find out that because my order was over $99, I got free shipping, which might only be a few dollars, but it makes a big difference.
They Get Five Stars From Me!
I don’t want the earth from any off road fabrication shop that I ever use, as I’m not a demanding customer. What I do want to get though is customer service, quality products and support. Rago delivered on every single point and then some. I don’t usually recommend products or companies to people, but the service I got compelled me to write this blog.
It doesn’t surprise me at all that Rago is a) a family run company and that b) it’s run by an ex-veteran, as they get what’s important. For this reason and a few more besides, I’d give them a try if you’re looking for any aftermarket upgrades for your truck. I’m sure that you won’t be disappointed with the experience if you do.
