Mercury slams on the celestial brakes on the 13th December at 7.09am and 8 Degrees and 29 minutes in Capricorn.
So, the big question is just how disruptive will this be, or are we going to see some surprisingly pleasing things?
The sign of Capricorn is very much about the established order, big institutions, property, goals and ambitions, how we connect with the outer world and is the culminating sign of the physical or material realm.
Mercury, the Winged Messenger, and the planet of talk and thought, may see us speaking more authoritatively and succinctly to situations where we feel that we are expected to conform, but not necessarily in a mutually beneficial way.
Then again, systems and tech linked to big business may encounter some major glitches.
People who have, or do hold positions of power, may be scrutinized in a sharper, more probing way.
But with Venus and Jupiter the two planets of fortune, blessing the beginning of this Retrograde, and Saturn and the Sun the end of it on the 22nd of December with a Cazimi, there are lots of things we can do to reimagine our professional situations, business prospects and roles, or if we are self employed our targets for the future.
