Have you witnessed any miracles? This was the prompt in my DayOne Journal. I was happy to answer…..
Yes! More than I can count! Miracles happen everyday, they are the unseen heroes. The beauty deep within that goes undiscovered until one day they blossom. They live as seeds, then there they go blossoming into beauty!
When do Miracles Occur?
Miracles always happen in the present moment. They don’t happen in the regret and pain of yesterday or the worry and rear of tomorrow. They occur in real time, the now.
They seem super fantastic, but they disguise themselves as ordinary.
They seem illusive, yet they are right under our nose.
They seem magical, however they contain magic mixed with love, goodness, and hope.
They seem illusive, but they are scattered about as dust on the table.
They are often seen, but seldom recognized. That’s why we call them a miracle.
How Can I Limit a Miracle?
Break free from thoughts that keep you small, weak or powerless. Look for and expect the miraculous. Also, release judgement and attachment to the outcome. The surprise is part of the process, not the expectation.
Are They Accompanied by Signs?
Miracles happen all the time. For some reason we think they should come with fireworks. That happens, but not often. It is when the fireworks explode, a miracle is declared. But aren’t miracles more miraculous than that?
Yes, I see miracles everyday. The seed that pushes through the hard dirt or sidewalk and thrives. The weed that is left untended and becomes a beautiful flower or nourishing food. A smile that emerges beyond the tears. The heart that knows, really knows, that something is true. A hand that reaches out and helps just when hope is fading.
Is a miracle really extraordinary, or is it the beauty part of living that makes our heart sing? The wonder of a sweet child, the song of a bird, the hug when least expected.
Shall I name these miracles, mine may be different than yours, but to each they are a miracle.
What Are Some Evidences of Miracles?
What about a deep inner knowing inspite of the evidence seen? What about peace that passes all understanding?
What about a life that is transformed with just a change of perspective?
Miracles, they are not ordinary but they are regular. They happen everyday. Look for them. Expect them.
My friend, when you change your thoughts and perspective, you change your life. We are all creative beings, capable of creating our heart’s desire.
Knowledge is power, take up arms with the power of knowledge.
Help is Here, from Present Day Sages
If miracles seem too far away, then possibly these may help.
Surrender to the grief, despair, fear, loneliness, or whatever form the suffering takes. Witness it without labeling it mentally. Allow it to be there. Embrace it. Then see how the miracle of surrender transmutes deep suffering into deep peace. Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now.
We now find ourselves on the precipice of an amazing age of deep insight, where the full wisdom of the ancients, long encoded as remnants in myth and symbol, and leading-edge science in the New Biology and New Physics are coming into greater agreement and mutual validation of one another. I can only pray that by helping to uncover and share some of these insights that I have, in some small part, helped you find your way to a life of renewed vitality, insight, health, and joy so you can focus on what matters most in your life. At the very least, I hope you will walk away with greater confidence in just how amazing your body’s immense regenerative potential and resilience really are. The best possible outcome I can imagine is that you will learn, as I have, to experience deeper awe and gratitude for what already is: this miracle of our incarnation and the planet that continually nourishes and supports everything in our lives. Sayer Ji, Regenerate.
The miraculous and the natural are not at odds with each other. They are one and the same. You must know that when you are praying for a miracle, you are praying for a natural outcome, for the most natural outcome of all. Your understanding of miracles needs to become organic. Then you will understand. Strand & Finn, The Way of the Rose.
