Minecraft is a game of block-placing and adventure. It's a survival experience of remaining alive in your own wonderful universe which is also a creative place to create virtually everything you can imagine!
Minecraft was started as a small project in a bedroom, being spread on a web forum via a Java applet. Its founder, Markus Persson, who in the gaming community is also known as Notch, did not believe the game would be doing well. Yet soon after being posted to the forum it exploded as it caught the attention of many indie gaming fans who liked the idea of creating the game.
Minecraft has been critically acclaimed, winning several awards and being cited as one of the greatest and most influential video games of all time, being inducted into the World Video Game Hall of Fame in June 2020. In popularizing the game, social media, parodies, adaptations, merchandise, and annual MineCon conventions played great roles. It was also used in educational environments as virtual computers and hardware devices were built into it, especially in the realm of computing systems. But since you’re here you probably know that.

How to make glass
In Minecraft, Glass is a handy item to have. This decorative block allows light to pass without allowing it to touch you. Most mobs can't even see your character through glass, even Endermen You can use your glass to make a greenhouse safe from nighttime threats or turn it into stained glass decorations and potion bottles.
You will need sand. To craft the glass you’ll need to open the Furnace. To do so, make sure that you have made a furnace.
Add the furnace to your hotbar, so you can use it as an item. Next, place your pointer (the plus sign) on the block where you would like to place the furnace. In your game window you can see the block being illuminated.
Remember where you put your furnace because you will need to open it each time you want to cook or smelt in the game.

To open your furnace, you need to stand in front of it.
Now your furnace is open and you can see your furnace menu.
The Furnace menu is made up of two boxes on the left – the top box is where you place items to cook and the bottom box is where you place the fuel such as sticks or coal.
Next, you need to add fuel to the bottom fuel box in the furnace.
In this case you’ll be needing coal. You can mine coal with a pickaxe or get charcoal by smelting wood (logs not planks) in a furnace.
Next, place the sand in the top box of the furnace. You should see the flames cooking the sand.
Once the sand is cooked in the furnace, the glass will appear in the box to the right.
And that’s how you make glass in MInecraft! You're ready to survive and thrive in the world of Minecraft! Good luck!
