I’m sure you do not like to attend with an exhausted face so be sure to relax prior to the event. Do not be too excited nor too stressed, instead be calm and be well rested.
Have all things you need be prepared at least a week before prom:
Make sure everything is ready for the occasion, at least seven days before the big occasion– bring out your checklist and check if you have everything- your prom dress, shoes, bag, and jewelries; as well as, your makeup kits, nail polish and whatever you need for your hair. If you think you are still missing some things, at least you have few days left to organize them. If your prom dress needs some ironing, do it before the big day to avoid rushing. You can also have a try on to check if everything matches.
Take a beauty rest
Most proms are usually being held on Saturdays, which means to say, there would be no classes. You have all morning to double check the things you will need. Take an early afternoon nap. Complete at least 1-2 sleep cycles, which is estimated to be about 90 minutes – 180 minutes. That should be enough to make you feel rested and ready for the night.
Eat well or Take a Snack
Having an early afternoon nap will allow to you get up early, eat well and do some cleaning. Do not forget to eat or take a snack instead of keeping your stomach empty. Going to the party with an empty stomach will be a bit problematic once the prom activities are about to start. Yes, there would be some food during the event meanwhile it might be served towards the end of party so it will always be best to make sure you go to prom with at least something in your stomach.
Clean up
Normally this would take you half an hour to an hour staying at the bathroom, with all the scrubbing, showering, rinsing and applying lotion. Of course, you wanted even the tiniest microbe be removed and you wanted to smell so fresh and renewed.
