How to Overcome Shiny Object Syndrome [Video]

If you’re blessed with a creative personality type or an entrepreneur with lots of ideas, you may be suffering from Shiny Object Syndrome. In this video, I share what it is and how you can get over it and achieve more goals.

If you’re good at starting projects but not good at finishing them, you are probably suffering from shiny object syndrome as you flit from one thing to another instead of focusing on one project and seeing it through to completion.

The acronym of FOCUS is Follow One Course Until Successful!

The problem with shiny object syndrome is that you don’t get the results you want because you don’t follow through and get distracted by your next great idea.

So what’s the solution to Shiny Object Syndrome?

I suffered from shiny object syndrome for years because I was chasing money making opportunities (I also suffered from scarcity syndrome!) but if I didn’t get quick results I would try something else, then something else and so on.

It was only when I discovered my life purpose that I had a benchmark against which to decide whether the latest idea or opportunity was something I should act upon.

If an idea or opportunity is in alignment with your purpose or the big vision for your life it is worth considering, but if you’re already working on a high priority project or goal then it might be better to shelve it until a more appropriate time.

If you are unclear about your life purpose, you can get a FREE download of my Life Purpose Formula exercise.

I also share how to discover your life purpose and soul purpose in my earlier post How to Discover Your Life Purpose and Soul Purpose.

When you discover your life purpose you will develop a level of unshakable commitment because you know your mission deep down in your soul and nothing can divert you from it.

You will have a deep inner knowing that this is the path you are meant to tread.

The result is that you will achieve a level of success and fulfillment that you’ve never experienced before.

The Infinite Wave: It is Always Now – Sam Harris [VIDEO]

This video by Sam Harris is perhaps 6 of the most enlightening minutes I’ve ever experienced. But what is funny is Sam himself would say those minutes are merely an illusion, as linear time only appears to be sequential, and in reality all we have is this very moment…and this moment…and this one.

Although persistent and measureable on a linear scale, “time” as we know it to be is anything but “real”. What we call “yesterday” consists merely of “NOW’s” that exist only in our minds as memories. What we can “tomorrow” consists merely of “NOW’s” that exist only in our imaginations and dreams. All we ever truly have in our reality is right NOW.

The NOW permeates everything and always IS. This would apply to the very fabric our existence and everything we know to make up our physical reality including waves of light, sound and mechanical & seismic waves. And as long as there is momentum; movement and action, the NOW goes on into infinity (as shown in the image below via Planck’s constant). Let’s just hope it stays that way. 🙂

maxresdefault

So, how do we make the best of all of our “NOW’s”? Be 100%, un-apologetically present IN as many of them as you possibly can. Ride the infinite wave – it is really that simple. Focus on those things that make you happy and which feed your life-force. Things that give you passion and drive to KEEP MOVING FORWARD! For when we lose touch with the NOW and dwell in the past, it tends to slow us down, bring us down, and drag us down. It can fill out hearts with regret, guilt, and stagnation. I’m not saying don’t ever look back. We retain memories for a reason, sure. They are to remind us just how far we’ve come and of all the great (and perhaps not-so-great) experiences we’ve had, so we can reflect back on the lessons we’ve learned and see how far we’ve come. We can look back to remember the smile of your dearly departed grandmother and how her kitchen always smelled like a bakery. But if it usually hurts when we look back, then perhaps it’s time we really sit with those feelings and let ourselves finally heal over whatever it is we find ourselves always looking back to. This will let them serve their purpose and give you the strength to finally let them go to be where they are meant to be; behind you.

The same approach can be taken for the future. If we spend so much time being anxious and worrying about what may happen to us, we are only laying down a big ‘ol welcome mat to whatever it is we are fearing the most to come walking right into our lives. And what we are really doing, is choosing to spend our NOW’s torturing ourselves with mere scary stories we’ve made up in our head. Sure, it’s smart to plan, have a vision, prepare for things and of course have dreams, but these are much different things than constantly putting undo stress on yourself by always focusing your thoughts on thinking the future is full of inevitable doom. This can wreak havoc in all areas of our lives causing headaches, disturbances in our digestive system, and even sleep issues such as insomnia.

Speaking of sleep, if we look at brain waves during the sleep cycle, we can determine the specific point that defines the instant when we cross over from being awake to being asleep. It is in that cross-point where we could say the NOW resides. In the cosmic middle-ground does it frolic and play begging for our attention and calling for us to become conscious of our own unconsciousness. Buddhist Monks, Yogis and Shamans all over the world are aware (no pun intended) that the key to “enlightenment” is first knowing that the door resides within oneself and thus that is where we must look. And if we look long enough and in the right way, we will ultimately find the eternal NOW; or maybe perhaps… it finds us.

“There exists only the present instant… a Now which always and without end is itself new. There is no yesterday nor any tomorrow, but only Now, as it was a thousand years ago and as it will be a thousand years hence.” -Meister Eckhart

You Create Your Own Reality—What Next?

By Joseph A. Webb

Art is an apt metaphor for life, as I’ve come to learn.  A painter creates an environment on canvass, imbuing it with his or her own unique tone.  Likewise, each individual creates a unique life experience reflective of inner portions of the self—regardless of whether the person thinks of him- or herself as a creator.

Many people don’t see their intimate connection to external reality, of course; instead, they deal with circumstances as if they had happened haphazardly.  That mainstream understanding is the equivalent of a painter splashing random colors on the canvass and then pretending not to understand how they got there.

Although I had been taught as a child to supplicate to a God who would help me, I nevertheless also had a mainstream view of daily reality.  I could largely only react to events, according to my thinking.  Eventually, synchronistic events that did not seem coincidental, coupled later with lingering doubt about an external God, caused me to question much of what I had been taught.  Being driven to understand, I went through an intense period of reflection and increasing confusion.

Through a fortunate “accident,” I discovered the book The Nature of Personal Reality, one book of the Seth material written by Jane Roberts.  Many of you have probably heard about the Seth material; written and recorded from the 1960s to 1980s, the channeled collection of books and audios established itself in a major way in public consciousness.  It remains powerful and is the most in-depth material of any kind that I’ve read or heard.  The following passage from The Nature of Personal Reality first hooked me:

“Experience is a product of the mind, the spirit, conscious thoughts and feelings, and unconscious thoughts and feelings.  These together form the reality that you know.  You are hardly at the mercy of a reality, therefore, that exists apart from yourself or that is thrust upon you.  You are so intimately connected with physical events composing your life experience that often you cannot distinguish between the seemingly material occurrences and the thoughts, expectations, and desires that gave them birth.”[1]

There was more:

“You make your own reality. There is no other rule. Knowing that is the secret to creativity.”[2]

The philosophy resonated deeply within me; with every chapter in the book I answered questions I had been unable to before.  The weight of confusion lifted from my shoulders, and generalized fear slowly melted away.  I no longer felt I had to protect myself from randomness.  With euphoria, I ventured forth, primed to create realities for myself that I had always wanted, knowing that I was connected to the outcome.  When the company I worked for went out of business, I started my own business, which I would otherwise not have due to fear.  I had more confidence about creating a close relationship that had eluded me, and after some delay I found myself in one.

Being exhilarated by a sense of purpose and optimism is wonderful, and it leads to positive outcomes.  Yet complications usually arise, as fear is rarely completely eradicated and therefore manifests itself in reality in some way.  Even accomplished painters don’t near-effortlessly produce art that immediately aligns with their vision.  Rather, the task involves one or more preliminary sketches, fits and starts, adjustments, and fixes when the paint doesn’t quite look right.  Sometimes the painter alters his or her vision during the painting process.  Creating a desired reality resembles that.  When fear lessens because of changed limiting beliefs, that’s an important step—but just a first step.

In time, my relationship had grown increasingly difficult until I ended it, and my work had become less enjoyable, followed by a dwindling of clients.  Later, I took a part-time job that became full time, and thereafter I only occasionally worked for myself.  Although I remained convinced that my Seth-inspired worldview was basically correct, I nevertheless was not as bold and confident in my outlook.  I lost my direction.

Reality constantly reveals what our beliefs are.  Although relinquishing one set of limiting beliefs can lead to a desired reality, it could also to lead to elements of dissatisfaction that emanate from another set of limiting beliefs.  In my case, after my initial foray into working for myself, I dreaded any feedback or criticism that implied my work was subpar, even when I had no reason to expect it.  That indicated a lack of belief in my professional worth.  Similarly, doubts over self-worth had partly led to a frustrating relationship.

Over time, I made progress with those beliefs and feelings.  Simply recognizing them can often dispel them.

Given that limiting beliefs and emotions are usually sprinkled among positive beliefs, how can someone know whether he or she has changed enough to create a satisfying reality? A key point Seth made about emotions supplies part of the answer:  negative emotions resulting from an unpleasant incident come from underlying beliefs that existed before the incident and are a cause of it.

Bashar, another channeled entity, elaborated on that point.  In a YouTube video I watched about a year ago, which has since been taken down, Bashar brought light to the lag between experiences and the inner state that creates them.  What I experience today might be related to my inner state a few days or weeks before.  If the experience is “negative” but my thinking or beliefs have changed for the better during the interim, then I won’t feel hurt or disappointed over the outcome.  So I will then know I’m on the road to creating what I want.

Bashar’s idea stuck with me, and I noted how “negative” circumstances triggered less hurt, anger, or disappointment or prompted no negative emotions at all.  I knew I needn’t become anxious about not yet experiencing what I want—and such worry could delay the desired reality even more.  That knowledge is another important tool for the painter’s toolkit.

How You Can Harness Synchronicity Without the ‘Pauli Effect’ and Experience Lucid Dreaming

Some ancient meditative practices of Tibetans and shamans going back thousands of years recognize synchronicity, and that even when we are awake, we can still experience a sense of being in a dream.  This awareness includes the idea that you have access to awareness of being one with everything that is, and there is therefore an entanglement that is happening between you and the universe.  And through this connection, we are capable of exerting non-local effects.

What this means is that it’s possible for us to sometimes have synchronicities when we’re in a very highly-charged, positively charged state while being relaxed and energetically grounded.  So we might say something, and suddenly we notice there they are–or they might phone or text or email us.

Or we might say something or think about something, and notice that same thing is on the radio or TV show that we’re watching or listening to.  There’s no way we could have affected those shows real-time, so it’s an obvious synchronicity.  When we notice Mandela Effects, reality shifts, and quantum jumps, we are actually playing with reality much like we would do in a lucid dream.

Synchronicity & Carl Jung

Synchronicity is a term coined by psychologist Carl Jung to signify “the simultaneous occurrence of two meaningful but not causally connected events,” or as “a coincidence in time of two or more casually unrelated events which have the same or similar meaning… equal in rank to a causality as a principle of explanation.”

Synchronicity is the occurrence of a physical event in the world that occurs at or near the same time that it is being discussed or thought about.  This playfulness we so often feel in creativity allows us to find connections between ideas without a structured, rational, mechanical process — discovering that what we need comes to us when and where we need it.  Carl Jung once had an amazing synchronicity where he was talking to someone about a scarab beetle, and just then a scarab beetle showed up at his window.

As Jung treated this particular patient, he realized that she required a change of perspective from her overly-rational view of the world to one which allowed greater freedom of thought and feeling. Jung was intrigued to notice that this kind of rebirth that he considered so important for his patient was also indicated by the timely arrival of the scarab beetle at the window!

The ‘Pauli Effect’

Many of us have noticed similar synchronicities.  I find it very interesting that one of Carl Jung’s friends was physicist Wolfgang Pauli, who started experiencing bizarre phenomenon.  Pauli wanted to know what was going on, and to better understand the psychology behind some of his experiences, and he consulted with his friend, Carl Jung.  Pauli himself was quite well-known amongst the physics community as someone you don’t want to invite to your laboratory, because if he comes, the equipment breaks down.  So those who might have been wanting to demonstrate an experiment can’t because once Pauli arrives, nothing works.  Everything would seem to stop functioning as soon as Pauli entered the room.

This so-called “Pauli Effect” is an example of another kind of entanglement of the sort that can happen when you are not grounded.  There’s an energetic effect that can occur that I’ve experienced.  Before I regularly practiced energetically grounding myself, I would walk into rooms and the equipment would fail.  I know what that feels like, and it’s not fun:  the lightbulb blows out, the appliances break down, the computer stops working.  So I quickly learned that I need to stay grounded when I’m doing martial arts, when I am doing Tai Chi, when I am doing lower abdominal breathing and basically boosting my inner Qi / Ki to high levels–then I need to stay grounded.  This “Pauli Effect” is thus something like the flip side to synchronicity.

Experiencing Lucid Living

Lucid living is analagous to having a lucid dream.  In a lucid dream, dreamers often recognize you can look at your hand in a dream and notice, “My hand looks a little different.”  The other weekend I was away from home, and in my dream I went back home to check on things.  In my dream, I was walking through my house toward the front door, and I opened the front door in my dream, but then there was a car outside of the door, blocking everything.  It was a little tiny white car on my porch, completely blocking me from being able to open my front door.  So in my dream, I looked at my hand, and I could easily expand it to be very big.  I was surprised to see the car on my porch, so that woke me up inside the dream.  Then I knew I was dreaming so I could just make my hand really big, pick the car up, move the car, and then go back to being “normal” and walk through the front door as usual.  That’s an example of lucid dreaming.

When we have reality shifts and Mandela Effects, these are capable of getting us to ask the question, “WHY are these things happening?”

When we ask this question, you might remember when you were little and adults might annoy you by answering your questions of “Why?” with the answer, “Because!”  This answer in this case is a good one, since when you look at the parts of the word because you find:  Be Cause.  This is a clue that you–as consciousness– are the cause of reality shifts and Mandela Effects.

When we globally work together, we are literally capable of changing the world, so you can get global effects.

One version of the idea of lucid living is shown in the movie ‘Inception’ in which events unfolding around characters who are actively dreaming can be steered by their consciousness.  In the movie, Inception, it’s pointed out that you can never remember the beginning of a dream, dreams that seem to cover hours might only last a short time, and often you don’t know that when you’re dreaming.

You also don’t necessarily know how you are connected–or entangled–with others, and whether you are in their dream, or they are in yours, or you are together in a shared dream.  In the movie, Inception, a dreamer can tell whether he is in a dream or whether he’s awake by spinning a top.  This dream marker thus provides a clue by which it’s possible for him to know whether he is dreaming or awake.  In the movie, Inception, there was a spinning top that helped characters in that science fiction movie recognize that they were in a dream, and not totally in the real reality.

You can actually move your level of observation back a step, and that’s the key principle of all of these ideas of reality shifting, Mandela Effects and quantum jumps.  The idea from quantum physics is that the Observer who is observing the other observers is the one who’s going to get the outcome of that entire entangled network of observations.  That final level Observer is the one who can call the shots and decide what’s going on.

The big idea here when considering entanglement and lucid living is to, as always, keep asking “How good can it get?” Stay positive, and realize that when you leave that positive question open-ended and evolving, it’s possible to find win-win solutions for all of us.

All Together Unique: Why We ALL Are Our Own Divine Dimensions

While I understand that to “be” something, you must fit the criteria of what “being” that certain something actually means. But when it comes to Spirituality, who got to decide and why do we all just go along with it? I also get it that with increased self-awareness, intuition, centeredness, connection to Source, the Divine, God or whatever name you prefer to use there comes the draw towards certain activities, types of people and even thoughts, as well as the draw away from certain activities, types of people and again…thoughts.

But when we start to invest our own perceptual opinions onto something greater than ourselves; something that is meant to encompass everything and be bias to none (see all in love and everything as connected), to me it seems to not only defeat the purpose, but chip away at what is such an incredibly and personally beautiful experience to each and every one of us.

Lately it seems like I cannot go a day without coming across an article that either attempts to squeeze what it means to “be a spiritual person” into some tiny little boxes, or attempts to define certain practices as absolute requirements to obtain enlightenment (which personally I believe there are countless ways to get there). I even read an article earlier this week that listed 5 things that “spiritual people” do differently from things like doing drugs to vacationing. While I completely get the angle the author was shooting for, it left me feeling so tense, like I literally couldn’t move. And it was because I felt so limited, so confined, so DE-fined…it was like someone took all the magic out of the room.

I feel like while the point of the article was to shed light on a perhaps alternative perspective on 5 typical topics; come at them from a new “expanded” viewpoint to maybe open some eyes, ears and even hearts, I also was left feeling like one huge stereotype. Like these things were almost expected of me because I tend to resonate more with the “spiritual” side of life rather than “religious.” It was a lesson in just how powerful perceptions can be and honestly was the driving force behind me choosing this topic to write about this week.

These little storm clouds have been floating around my gray matter ever since and with each flash of lightning I was pushed to share my own opinion on how the boxes being passed around the “spiritual” community aren’t for me and I might even be so bold to suggest they are an illusion and do not exist at all (until we acknowledge them into our reality).

So…consider this my “take back” of acknowledging the boxes and giving myself my freedom of self-expression back. Actually, I’m okay with knowing they’re there, they’re just not for me and that’s okay. One box, in particular, is that in order to be spiritual, one must participate in certain practices like meditation. While I do meditate, if I stopped I wouldn’t for one second say that made me “less” of a spiritual person. And I just think there’s a lot of stigma around these type of things that people feel they absolutely must do them in order to BE spiritual.

I happen to know a ton of “spiritual” people who have never meditated a day in their life. I also know some who do once in a while; others daily. Each of them is spiritual in their own way. How so? Because to be so is to be truly undefined; merely authentically connected…to yourself and to others, seeing rawly through eyes of love and compassion rather than fear and judgment. Being innately guided by your heart rather than mislead by your ego. But ultimately…flowing with the acknowledgment of your own eternity.

When we let others begin to define us, is like letting them siphon our energy and personal power right out of us. We begin to see others as above us rather than merely our equals whom we can learn from and share knowledge with. True teachers always know they are first and foremost the student with the most to learn. And they never tell you what to see; only where to look. So, the endless flood of “New Age” gurus should be dealt with caution as another great less I’ve learned is that not everyone who plays in the spiritual boxes is automatically honest, sincere, or without personal agenda.

This lesson in itself is a great reminder to always trust your own gut instincts and if you feel that someone is trying to take advantage of you by claiming you are broken and cannot “fix” your life without them. Once you become dependent on someone or something outside of yourself, you are disconnected from your most valuable source of assistance; your spirit and your connection to the Universe and the Source. You can’t hear the silence when you focus only on the outside chatter…

I’m not saying to never take advice or get others opinions. Sometimes it is vital to get an objective take on something you are going through. However, the more “self-help” books I read, the more I realize that nothing is wrong with me…or ANY of us! We are ALL imperfectly perfect and no one, not even ourselves can deny the simple beauty in that! I’ve felt as much as the next person the pull to fit in and belong to something; something where people think like me and talk about more than the weather.

But after years of searching for answers outside of myself, I realized that there’s nothing wrong with talking about the weather! Sure deep, intellectual conversation stimulates my gray matter like nothing else, but there is also a simple beauty to be found in merely connecting with a stranger who so deeply wants to converse with you, but has no other common ground but to reflect upon how welcome the sunshine is today. Now if THAT isn’t truly spiritual, I dunno what is.

So, let’s remember that it’s not how many downward-facing dogs or inward breaths of positivity you take that make you a spiritual being. You are a spiritual being merely because you are YOU; a child of the Universe, no less a wonder than the stars or the cosmos themselves.

The Extraterrestrial Messages of Nikola Tesla

Ivan Petricevic | Ancient Code

Tesla believed he received alien messages at the end of the nineteenth century.

It is not a secret that there are numerous inventions of Tesla that have been attributed to other “inventors”, among these inventions are the radio and the first machine capable of searching for extraterrestrial life. The FBI seized documents including numerous inventions that were way ahead of Teslas time, possible secret technology, including a version of its famous wireless transmitter that could send radio waves focused to distant points of the solar system.

While Tesla’s genius is indisputable, some people question whether his mind became delusional at some option. What is true is that Tesla was interested, throughout his life, in developing technology to contact extraterrestrial intelligence and believed that, at least in one occasion, he had detected an alien signal.

Since 1896, Tesla believed that a version of his famous wireless transmitter could be used to contact intelligent beings on other planets. In the summer of 1899, while working in his laboratory in Colorado Springs, Tesla believed to have observed a series of numerical codes in cosmic radio signals, which he interpreted as a sign of intelligence that originated from pants inside our solar system. But is it possible that Tesla did in fact receive an extraterrestrial message? If so where did it come from?

Tesla was asked by the Red Cross to predict man’s greatest possible achievement over the next century. The letter below was his reply.

A much-needed transcript follows.

A letter written by Nikola Tesla

Transcript:

To the American Red Cross, New York City.

The retrospect is glorious, the prospect is inspiring: Much might be said of both. But one idea dominates my mind. This — my best, my dearest — is for your noble cause.

I have observed electrical actions, which have appeared inexplicable. Faint and uncertain though they were, they have given me a deep conviction and foreknowledge, that ere long all human beings on this globe, as one, will turn their eyes to the firmament above, with feelings of love and reverence, thrilled by the glad news: “Brethren! We have a message from another world, unknown and remote. It reads: one… two… three…”

Christmas 1900

Nikola Tesla

Curiously, Tesla wasn’t the only one who believed he received messages from otherworldly beings. Marconi, referred to by history as the inventor of the radio, even thought Tesla patented it a couple of years sooner than Marconi, also received “messages” from other planets, but Marconi’s messages were dismissed as a simple interference. Tesla’s case was more complex.

The Power and Paradox in Simply Saying “We’ll See”

By Jill Mattson | * Jill’s Wings of Light

There was a villager elder who saw a young boy, Cho, demonstrate superior skill at horseback riding. He was better at riding than any other person in the village. The villagers said, “How great!” … but the villagers’ great sage replied, “We’ll see.”

Several years later, Cho fell from a horse and broke his legs so badly that he would never walk or ride a horse again. The villagers moaned, “How terrible.” The sage replied, “We’ll see.”

Shortly thereafter, a war broke out near the village. All boys immediately went to battle, hoping to be heroes, except Cho, who was disabled. The villagers said, “How sad that Cho cannot be a hero too.” The wise sage said, “We’ll see.”

Alas, all the young men were killed. The villagers said, “How lucky Cho is.” The sage said, “We’ll see.” And “on and on” the story went.

The theme of this story applies itself over and over again in our lives. For example, at its inception, religions were tremendous tools to enable people to improve their lives. Christians learn about grace; Buddhists demonstrate balance; and St. Germain teaches transformation. Religions gave people tools to raise their consciousness. “How wonderful!” …Yet … “We’ll see,” commented the sage.

Over time, religious teachings became inflexible dogma; they were even used to persecute and kill others that did not share the same beliefs. “How terrible,” cried many people. “We’ll see,” said the sage. Yet, during these atrocities, people developed compassion and the strength to stand up for each other.

In another example, science was birthed and many great understandings were explained. Our lives were improved in so many wonderful ways. For example, the life expectancy of humans was extended. Because of this gift, many live longer. “How wonderful,” said people. The sage said, “We’ll see.”

People so believed in the science that they dropped many practices that were employed over thousands of years, such as prayer, meditation, singing for healing, purifying one’s thoughts and emotions, because these methods were “superstitious” and could not be proven by the scientific method. Ironically, science was utilized in a way similar to the way the tools in religion were used. People forgot about subtle energy treatments, acupuncture, herbal healing, tai chi, and so many more. “How sad,” said people who believed in these practices.  “We’ll see,” said the sage.

As science continued to grow, greater technical expertise was developed to measure these subtle energy methods. The ancient practices weren’t superstitions after all, but quantum energy techniques. Today, science has advanced enough to measure many subtle energy practices. Now, people can see that science was inappropriately applied. If science can’t measure something – that does not mean it is not true. It means that science cannot measure it – yet. “How great,” said the people. “We’ll see,” said the sage.

There is always a “we’ll see” in a world of duality. There is a positive or negative aspect to everything.  Everything – no exemptions. Both positive and negative… and opposite ends of the spectrum are endlessly linked together on this seemingly, endless rollercoaster. How do we get off this eccentric rollercoaster?

Here’s an example found in the natural world that may answer this question: The physical body deals with an ongoing usage of opposite energies. People use their left brain hemisphere for objective, rational, sequential tasks and the right brain hemisphere for global and holistic tasks. One brain hemisphere understands the big picture and the other works with the small detailed picture. Data from one brain hemisphere seems to be on opposite ends of a spectrum. Instead of being on a roller coaster going from one point of view to its polar opposite, we can blend the two viewpoints for a holistic picture. People can engage whole brain thinking, harnessing both polar opposites at one time. In this example, people keep the wonder, belief, mysteries, the “sacred” AND balance this with rational scientific thinking (applying science to only what can measured). Sounds fantastic! “We’ll see,” said the sage.

What Lies in Your Imagination Plants the Seeds for Manifestation

Image result for imagination quotesWhen we are children, we could care less if we got dirt on our clothes during a good tree climb, or if our hair looked just right before going up to play with a new classmate. We were quick to say exactly what was on our minds and express fully what we were feeling in the most imaginative of ways. We thought in pure, authentic, colorful ways and expressed those thoughts creatively to our tune. For it is as children we are our wisest, most embodied and free.

So what happens to dull this authenticity in our personal expression as we so-call “mature” into adulthood? Well, most likely when we were lost dancing freely in our pink tutu down aisle #4 about to trip an elderly woman, someone may have told us to stop and perhaps while meaning to be an innocent show of how we might cause someone to get hurt, we were instead simply scolded and shamed for always “being in the way”.

This is why how we talk to one another, our children and our course ourselves (our inner chatter) is so important. Children naturally believe it or not are resonating joy and love and naturally want to feel happy, which is why you usually have trouble keeping up with them. They are masters at being in the moment and savoring every second of life. And this is due in part to their unwavering connection to their imaginations.

As children, we all remember thinking up fun games to play or stories to tell. And even times when we had to play alone, many of us call recall going off into vivid worlds of our own imaginations where we could literally spend hours and never be bored. Why is that? Because while we haven’t yet be ingrained to care for luxuries such as BMW’s and a raise at work, we are busy manifesting things in our active minds that bring us joy. And that as children is pure, unbridled creative play. In other words, coming up with whatever we can come up with! And we all know that ‘kids say the darndest things!’ 😉

Image result for imagination quotes

But what is our imagination really? I’ve come to learn that this is where manifesting truly happens. Well, it’s where the ideas are born into creation anyway. Another way to put it would be that our imagination is our direct link to what some call The Field or The Collective where all of human consciousness is connected and where we all have access to an infinite stream of awareness and wisdom.

Therefore, I don’t think it’s any coincidence that at a young age we are discouraged from day-dreaming or that we tend to look at kids with “over-active” imaginations as somewhat awkward or difficult because they might think differently than other kids. Well, they do and that is actually something to be cherished and encouraged, not shamed or diminished.

“Live out of your imagination, not your history.” – Stephen R. Covey

Again, we are all co-Creators and as children, we are masters who are simply unaware of what we know and what we are doing. And by the time we get old enough to have the intellectual capacity to understand it, we have most likely had the pure and deep ability of and connection to our imaginations severed and replaced by indoctrination.

We are told to stop thinking originally and to start conforming. We begin to realize and understand that social norms determine much of our success in society regarding our willingness to comply and participate in them. And so most children, simply wanting to be accepted, will conform to keep bonds and friendships and to be liked. It’s a sad process we humans have fallen into, but so many of us are recognizing the negative effects of losing that connection to our “child-like” wonder of our own inner worlds as so many of us come back into our hearts.

So, my fellow manifestors, remember next time you get frustrated with something you are trying to manifest into your life that just doesn’t seem to be working for you. First, zoom out. We may think we are “adult-ing” but you’d be surprised how often we tend to throw tantrums in the form of “life issues, relationship drama, etc.” that is no different than what a kid would do who can’t find the words to express what he feels. When we can’t find the solution to something digging on our side in a certain area of our life, we tend to sit back and complain or point fingers and avoid any real look at ourselves. But usually, that’s where the treasure is always buried. And the solutions you seek, if you’re willing to dig deep enough!

My greatest suggestion is to remember to be light-hearted, and to have FUN! I think as we grow up we begin to feel bad about laughing whenever we really feel it or for being silly once in a while, but re-connecting with that part of yourself will reward you with a sense of empowerment you will soon remember you didn’t even know you forgot! And this will open a floodgate of creative expression as you drop your guard and allow yourself to just have some fun. I promise the world will not stop if you take a break from the norm and allow yourself this precious gift…I mean, could you IMAGINE? 🙂

Matter From Consciousness: Laozi & Quantum Physics [VIDEO]: Shantena Augusto Sabbadini

Why does it seem that the ancients all over the planet knew what we struggle to perceive in today’s world? Ancient civilizations seemed to have this innate connection with Mother Earth, the Cosmos, and even Deities, and with that connection seems to be the underlying understandings of the workings of the Universe on a physical level.

They seemed to understand the delicate balance of nature and held a massive amount of respect for and effort to maintain that balance. And also, they understood that the connection they had with all the outer-world greatly things ran deeper within and through each and every one of us as well; connecting us all in a massive web of consciousness with the creative ability to create matter on a grand scale.

The video below is by Science & Nonduality and offers a great presentation by Shantena Augusto Sabbadini, a theoretical physicist from Italy who is the scientific advisor for the Eranos Foundation, an East-West research center located in Ascona, Switzerland. He gives lectures, courses and seminars about using the I Ching, the ancient Chinese oracle, as a tool for introspection and about the relevance of Taoist thought for our post-modern predicament. (Source:  https://www.shantena.com/en/about/ )

Video Source: Science & Nonduality

Shantena discusses how traditional science considers matter to be the focal point and how quantum physics opens the doors for science to work with consciousness. He also does an excellent job explaining a double-slit experiment, what Einstein thought of quantum physics and entanglement in a way that is easy to absorb and follow.

He wraps up with a beautiful briefing of the of the Tao Te Ching, the first chapter which teaches on the surface to forget about discourse to truly experience reality. Anything truly real flows. And the second chapter which teaches that we are not subjects confronting a world “out there”; we are not split or separate. That there is no separation, only fields permeating the entire Universe, like the waves of the ocean.

I love quantum physics for how it never gave up and continued to not just think outside the box, but continually redesign the box, and even go so far to say there isn’t even a box to begin with. QP has always and will always push buttons and erase lines. It will always bend and break the rules of traditional physics because that’s what it does and what makes it the most beautifully awkward branch of science today.

Quantum Physics has stood strong in the face of adversity even when it acted as the kid picked on continually at recess that no one wanted to play with. And it eventually paid off for now with scientists proving Entanglement with a single proton, QP has officially proven Einstein wrong and definitely given him something to be “spooked” about, that’s for sure. Another Conscious Comparison of the Human Spirit & Soul

This year I’ve committed to finally finishing my first book, which happens to be mainly about the human Spirit and Soul and how they are alike as well as different. Growing up, I’ve heard these two terms used interchangeably by adults in my church, family, school, etc. and I honestly never really knew there was any difference at all. However, I’m come to understand that they are in fact quite different and those variances are beyond divinely incredible…

We’ve all heard at one time or another someone say that a person “has spirit” or that a song might be “soulful”, and what is apparent is that BOTH spirit and soul invoke emotion and are deeply embedded within us, so that when the creative force they invoke surfaces whether it be via painting, writing, singing, or mud wrestling (lol), each bring from our core that which makes us each human beings with a living purpose. They are intertwined and affecting one another as a whole, and yet maintaining their respected uniqueness and differences all the while.

You see, according to most religious definitions our “souls” are who we are while our “spirits” are what we have. However, I digress to argue that this can also apply the other way around. I say that since both are infinite expressions of Prime Creator, Source, God…(whatever term you feel most comfortable with), and neither can be destroyed, only ever transformed, that we could also say that we are also in fact spirits as well and also have souls just as much.

But we live in a world of duality, so what fun would it be if I didn’t get into the juicy stuff of how everything has an opposing friend to keep all of existence in harmony and balance? I don’t get to say this often, but I do agree with religion’s view that our Spirit is the (perhaps not so literal) breath of God. I just prefer to describe it instead as “a sound wave of a certain frequency signature.” But that’s just the nerd in me talking…

I also agree that the Spirit is what provides us Consciousness of Self. It is our Awareness and is ever-flowing, ever-present in the Now. It is our direct connection to Source and is the origin of our intuition, drive, grace, purpose, and sense of Oneness. I also believe that the Spirit is energetically connected to Mother Earth as we are incarnated here as human beings. Our Spirit is what provides us our “mana” or life-force energy during our lifetimes.

Image result for body soul and spirit

If one lacks connection, to Oneself, to others, to a higher purpose, to God our Source Consciousness…there is a good possibility that you could end up “spiritually dead”. Not having a sense of purpose or direction in life is often what makes people falling into depression and feel a sense of disconnection and unworthiness in their lives.

Okay, so onto the Soul. My take on the Soul is that it is something unique to Humanity and is a collective container of all the memories you’ve ever had from every life you’ve ever lived. It also contains every personality, every ancestral trauma, every perception, belief, experience, etc. It carries as well every single one of our unexpressed potentials, talents, abilities, lying dormant waiting to emerge in this life or the next.

Your soul is like your blueprint; your grand design. The book you’re writing across all dimensions of the Universe. You forget the chapters that came before when you are writing the current one (the reasons why are another entire article which I will most certainly save for another day!), but you are literally building it as you go. It is kind of like one of those Choose Your Adventure books when we were kids, remember? 🙂 Yes, just like that…

The Soul can be split, matrix-ed, fractal-ed. In fact, this is how our memory is wiped before incarnating. While incarnated the Soul is heavily influenced by the Ego-Mind, although under that layer it contains your hidden desires, your talents, and abilities, your ever-unfolding greatness…

So, while they are both YOU, they are both NOT YOU at the same time…and really…would you expect anything less and would really want it any other way in this crazy, cosmic, amazing, beautiful, conscious Universe???

Have a great weekend everyone!

Time Travel & The Multiverse – Many Worlds: Many Timelines

Source: HumansAreFree

Excerpt from This Book Is From the Future: A Journey Through Portals, Relativity, Wormholes and Other Adventures in Time Travel by Marie D. Jones & Larry Flaxman

Time travel has enchanted and intrigued us since the earliest days of fiction, when authors such as H.G. Wells,Samuel Madden, Charles Dickens and Enrique Gaspar y Rimbau stretched and challenged our imaginations with images and tales of men and women who invented amazing machines and devices that could take them back in time, or forward into the future.

Because of the restrictions of light speed, and the paradoxes of going back to the past without damaging the future timeline, and a host of other obstacles and challenges, we, in fact, have remained stuck in the present.

Our scientific knowledge and technological achievement has yet to catch up to the limitless dreams of our imaginations. But perhaps just because we have yet to achieve time travel in our universe, in our particular point along the cosmic arrow of time, doesn’t mean it isn’t achievable… and maybe the key is the universe itself.

Related Article: Time Travel is Possible Says Theoretical Physicist Brian Green

Are we limiting ourselves to our understanding only of the laws and possibilities of our universe, and leaving out of the equation other realities, other universes, with other laws and forces, paradoxes and limitation, possibilities and potentialities, far beyond our own?

In 2011, quantum physicists at the University of California at Santa Barbara, led by Andrew Cleland and John Martinis, designed a “quantum machine,” as they call it, that might one day lead to proof of time travel and parallel universes.

Their machine, a tiny little teleporter barely visible to the naked eye, involves making a tiny metal paddle cool to its ground state, the lowest energy state permissible by the laws of quantum mechanics, and then raising its energy slowly by a single quantum to produce a purely quantum state of motion.

They even were able to put the device in both states at once, so it vibrated both slowly and quickly at the same time, in another sort of Schrodinger’s Cat state of superposition. They posited that we can only see one of these potential states at once, and upon the act of observation, the state then splits into additional universes.

Perhaps there is a plethora of multiple or parallel universes all around us, but we cannot see them.

Wormholes could also be another possibility for teleportation, as physicist Max Tegmark suggested while attending a panel in January of 2008 at MIT to discuss the science behind the movie Jumper starring Hayden Christiansen, about a man who can teleport all over the world at will.

Tegmark, asked about the science behind the science fiction, remarked that a wormhole was one possible way of getting something quickly across space-time.

However, after admitting that wormholes do appear to be theoretically possible, Tegmark commented that the actual trip would be rather grueling because of the instability of the wormhole.

“It could collapse into a black hole, which would be kind of a bummer.”

Many scientists look to the possible existence of other levels of reality, or other universes, as a way to make time travel work outside of the restrictions of light speed and paradoxes. Imagine another universe alongside our own where the laws of physics are so completely different, that what is impossible here is mundane and trivial there.

Multiple worlds, even, where each is different from the other, or perhaps an infinite number of universes where many would be exactly like our own.

Hey, you might even exist in some of them just the way you are right now. In others, you might be rich, famous, handsome or even a cockroach! In fact, perhaps you might even be invisible in one of them!

U.S. Soldier Claims To Have Shot & Killed A 12-Foot Giant In Afghanistan

By Richard Enos | Collective Evolution

U.S. Soldiers at Forward Operating Base in Baylough, Afghanistan, June 16, 2010. (Photo: DoD/Public Domain)

IN BRIEF

  • The Facts:There is corroborating testimony that a patrol of U. S. Soldiers shot and killed a giant 12-15 feet tall in Afghanistan, widely known a ‘The Kandahar Giant.’
  • Reflect On:What would be the implications about human history if we came to know that there were one or several other humanoid species that once lived on the planet, or indeed still live here today?

In 2002 a U. S. patrol had gone missing in a very remote area of Afghanistan. Another patrol was dispatched on a search and rescue mission, and one soldier on that patrol described what he saw after coming around the side of a mountain:

As we bent around this corner you could see the opening of the cave. And then I see a lot of rocks which is another oddity. And then bone matter. I’m not close enough to identify what kind of bones but I did see what I knew to be a piece of our communications equipment. So instantly we’re thinking ‘ambush,’ maybe animal, you know, could be anything. There was enough room in front of the cave, but it had a sheer drop-off; but there was enough room that we got into a decent dispersal in case of ambush.

Not long after they had gotten into that dispersal formation, they saw something emerge from the cave that, despite their preparedness, caught them fully off guard.

It was a man at least 12 to 15 feet in height. This is a MONSTER. Red beard, with his hair–was longish, past his shoulders, a scarlet red. And Dan runs at him and starts shooting, which broke all of us into the reality–because it was surreal.

While Dan is moving at him, another bro of mine is laying down fire and I start firing. He skewers Dan–he’s now got him on this ‘pike.’ It went through him. He’s got him and he’s coming after more.

We all just clicked in. I don’t know what it was, but I remember we were all like, ‘Shoot him in the face, shoot him in the face!’ He’s taking multiple hits, and he’s still moving.

Eventually, the giant was killed. Dan had been killed as well. And the patrol unit was soon visited by a helicopter that dropped some cargo netting. They were told they had to bundle up the giant in the netting, and soon after they were done, a larger helicopter came by, dropped a hook, and the giant was carried off.

The soldier confirmed that the red-haired, fair-skinned giant had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot. After they had submitted their after-action report, the soldier recounts that they were told by their top brass to re-write it in a particular fashion, presumably to remove any mention of a giant being.

Corroborating Testimony

Although not an eyewitness, another special ops soldier in Afghanistan provides the following corroborating testimony:

We would come back to the base and started hearing this rumor about a unit that killed this, what they started calling this really tall person. At first I didn’t think anything of it, then come to find out that the person they killed was actually three times the size of a man, had extra digits on their hands, and extra digits on their feet, and had red hair, and a special unit had come in and wanted this target.

Well we’d heard that they killed this thing inside a cave, or the mouth of a cave, and there was common knowledge among the military to hear this. When you first hear, you’re thinking like, this has got to be a joke. This has got to be a hoax. Then after things go down a certain way, and you keep hearing it, you start to realize it’s not a joke.

A Briefing on the Principles of Hermeticism

Since my own personal discovery of them, the Hermetic Principles have fascinated me in how delicately they describe the fundamental wonders of reality. From a very young age, it became blatantly obvious that we live in a dualistic world and somehow the Principles rectified the suffering that often caused me.

And with that being said…for what religion does for many, ancient esoteric and spiritual knowledge does for me. Hermeticism has brought me closure to so many anxieties, answers to so many questions and questions to so many beliefs.

I highly encourage anyone walking the spiritual path to take 5 minutes and watch the brief video below that explains all 7 Hermetic Principles. It may help to clear the way, light the way and provide some well-needed reading material under those star-filled nights you find yourself out in the middle of nowhere, all alone in the vast Universe with nothing but you and your thoughts…

21 Life Lessons from Anita Moorjani’s Amazing Near Death Experience (Video Interview)

Editor’s Note: Have you heard Anita Moorjani’s fascinating Near-Death Experience + Miraculous Cancer Recovery story? It’s the most amazing and convincingly-documented NDE story I’ve ever heard about. Her book, “Dying To Be Me,” is also among my all-time favorites. So I’m reposting this amazing interview with Lilou Mace, along with notes on the 21 life lessons Anita shares. Enjoy!

Anita Moorjani’s fascinating and moving near-death experience in 2006 tremendously changed her perspective on life. Her story is documented in her best-selling book titled, “Dying to be Me: My Journey from Cancer, to Near Death, to True Healing,” which Dr. Wayne Dyer helped her publish.

In this interview with Lilou Mace, Moorjani shares some of the amazing life lessons she took away from her NDE. For easier assimilation, we’ve listed them below.

Things Anita Moorjani learned from her Stage Four Cancer & Ensuing NDE:

1. You attract what you fear.

2. If you’re sick, don’t fight it. Embrace it. Love where you are now. Only when you approach your health challenges from a point of love can you overcome the fear.

3. Sometimes less information is better. When it comes to illness, more information does not necessarily equal more power (too much research can actually add to the fear and symptoms).

4. Through your illness, your body is giving you a message. Work to understand and be with what is.

5. Everything comes from within.

6. Ask yourself, “What brings me joy?” And do more of that.

7. Don’t obsess and make your life about the illness.

8. Love yourself unconditionally.

9. Positive thinking can only help to a certain extent. It’s more about being yourself and loving yourself – regardless of what you are going through.

10. Stop judging yourself.

11. Express yourself fully. Ask yourself: “Am I allowing myself to express who I am?  Am I being this person because I want to be accepted, or because it is who I am?”

12. Be centered in your true essence. From the place of pure centeredness, miracles are possible.  It’s about being, not doing.  When you are in the space of being, miracles are possible.

13. The only thing that limits you is your own beliefs.

14. The best way to get our of a fear state is to do something that brings you into a state of joy.  Find something that changes your state completely.  Whatever it is – music or art or going out in nature. Do something completely different. Or meditate.  If we can be still, we can go into a different reality.

15. Stay totally open. Get into a defused state in which all of the possibilities lie before you and you haven’t locked into any one.

16. Follow your bliss and do what you love. We tend to do what we think we should do, rather than what our heart tells us to do.  We don’t do what makes our heart sing.

17. You are your own guru. All your answers are inside you.

18. Nobody is better than (or less than) you. We are all equal.

19. Focus on your feelings more than your thoughts. Make your everyday choices based on what makes you FEEL good, rather than what you THINK you should do or what others think you should do.

20. Don’t let a fear of failing or displeasing others run your life.

21. Realize your own MAGNIFICENCE!

(A Briefing On) The Multi-Dimensional Self

By Jeff Street| Waking Times

Multidimensional beingsWhether you know it or not, you are a multidimensional being of staggering proportions. You are more than meets the eye, much more — more than your body, more than your soul, in fact, you are an integral part of the Universe. You are present on many levels of reality simultaneously and more powerful than you have ever imagined. Are you ready to expand your concept of selfhood to include higher selves, other/parallel selves, and probable selves? If so then, let’s dive in!

“Take the red pill … and I’ll show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.” ~Morpheus, The Matrix

Most of us are familiar with the idea of the soul — the conception that our bodies are transient physical vessels for an eternal energetic aspect of our consciousness, which is our true essence. Conventionalscience dismisses this idea, and so do many people. I’m assuming that you probably embrace it since you were attracted to this article. You’re not alone; many people feel the presence of something greater within themselves. And as the great shift in the consciousness of humanity accelerates more and more people are feeling and connecting to it.

If we take the existence of some sort of higher aspect of self as a given, the next question becomes; is our current idea of the soul accurate and complete? There are a growing number of sources that are saying that it is not, that it is overly simplistic, in fact, almost one-dimensional when compared to the new higher fidelity models being suggested.

Some schools of thought subscribe to the very simple model shown below.

soul-model-simple

This model portrays just two entities; Source/God and Souls (potentially connected to bodies). Its most notable element is that the soul is seen as created by, but separate from the creator. This representation is very simple and easy to understand but it is a gross oversimplification, and the idea that we are separate from Source/God is, well, just plain wrong. Luckily, fewer and fewer people are subscribing to this particular model.

Another school of thought offers a somewhat more sophisticated model as shown below.

soul-model-3-level

It considers the Soul a PART OF a wider/higher entity referred to as the Over-Soul, which in turn, is part of the all-encompassing Source/God entity. This model is on the right track and hits upon a couple of key elements; we are multi-layered beings, and every layer is PART OF (and within) each successive layer and all are part of, and within, the one all-encompassing being that we call Source/God. Yet even this model is an oversimplification.

A word of warning here; when you see the term “being”, think “sentient energetic entity” not “physical being”. Most of us have a tendency to personify the concept of “beingness”, but this is a mistake. The essence of all beingness is something non-physical and that’s why I will often use the term “entity” instead, because it avoids this trap.

While the models presented certainly do reflect some aspects of the deeper reality, it is my contention that they are just gross approximations. In the remainder of this article, I will present a more sophisticated model that is a synthesis of ideas from a number of different sources and expands greatly beyond the models mentioned above. It suggests that we are multidimensional entities present onmany levels of “reality” simultaneously and more powerful than we have been led to believe or have ever imagined. Only a small portion of your total beingness is present in the physical body that you may have erroneously assumed was all of you. The you that you identify as you is a part of a much bigger entity, which is ultimately also just a small part of the ultimate entity that is “all that is” — referred to through the ages by many names; Source, Infinite Creator, God, etc.

You are a multidimensional being of staggering proportions and in your quest to know yourself, and the nature of your existence, you have employed massive parallelism.

Higher Selves

So what exactly is a soul and what is its relationship to what some call “God” and others call “Source Consciousness”?

If you haven’t heard the term “source consciousness” before then this may come as a shock — the universe is conscious in its very fabric. The Universe is not at all what it appears from our very limited perspective. We exist inside of something resembling a great cosmic mind, often referred to as “cosmic/universal consciousness”.

As the term “source consciousness” suggests, all consciousness is derived from the universal field of consciousness. The consciousness of each and every one of us is an individualized thread of the universal consciousness. This is what your “soul” is — it is a thread of universal consciousness with an associated repository of experiential information (local memory), and derivative ideas, all somehow encoded as a pattern of energy. Our soul is sentient energy as is the entire universe.

“There is only One Consciousness in all existence. The consciousness that I know myself as is the same consciousness you know yourself as.” ~Story Waters, The One Self Teachings

Source consciousness is the intelligence that is/created our Universe, and it INDIRECTLY created all our souls. One of the fundamental capabilities of consciousness is the ability to subdivide itself — to create smaller individualized copies of itself within itself. Source used this mechanism to create the first level of sub-threads of its consciousness, what in effect could be thought of as sub-selves. It did this to explore and experience many-ness, rather than oneness, but more importantly, as a strategy to accelerate the exploration of itself and existence — to accelerate its evolution.

The mechanism that Source used to accomplish subdivision and individuation of its consciousness was primarily that of lowering the frequency of portions of its energies, stepping them down into the lower frequency bands of the energetic field. This is part of the reason why subdivisions of consciousness operate somewhat independently of, yet are inherently part of and connected to, the “higher” consciousness that spawned them — they are simply portions of the parent sentient energies at a significantly lower frequential level.

The subdivisions of consciousness that Source created within itself, in a very real sense, can be considered its sub-selves. And here is the really cool part, anything that a sub-self experiences is also experienced by its parent/higher-self and thus forms the basis for an evolutionary strategy – massively parallel experiences!

The process of subdivision of consciousness is a general capability and can and has been repeated by the sub-selves at each level of consciousness, and for the same reasons — to accelerate their evolution, and thereby contributing to Sources evolution.

Consciousness is like a multi-level branching structure. If we use a tree analogy then source consciousness would be the tree trunk. The tree trunk then divides into many large branches, which keep dividing into smaller and smaller branches until we get to twigs with a leaf attached to the end of each.

tree-of-consciouness

In this model we could think of the “leaves” as physical bodies and then as you move from the leaf towards the trunk we’d encounter the soul level, and then the over-soul level, and then a number of additional levels till we reached the tree trunk coming out of the ground, the Source level. Note that even thou the diagram above shows seven levels it’s unclear how many levels there really are, or whether all branches have to have the same number of divisions/levels. The only thing that’s for sure is that there are more than three levels, probably many more. A number of sources indicate that there is a level above the Over-Soul that has been referred to as “Soul Group”. Below is a diagram illustrating the divisional structure of universal consciousness.

divsions-of-consciousness

According to some sources there are 2,135 Soul Groups participating in the Earth experience right now (who knows how many exist within Source in total, probably many more). Each Soul Group entity is able to subdivide itself into (create) up to 144,000 over-souls, and each over-soul is able to create up to 12 souls, and each soul up to 12 soul-extensions. A Soul-Extension is just another subdivision of consciousness which allows connection to physical vehicles (bodies) in the very lowest frequency bands. The consciousness that connects to a body to “drive” it has to be within a certain “distance” frequentailly to achieve the connection. If you do the math this leads to potentially 44 billion incarnate entities on Earth.

An over-soul creates one or more souls for the purpose of connecting to physical bodies in the physical planes of existence — the lower frequency bands of the Universe. A physical body is simply a vehicle that the soul uses to have physical experiences. Physical life provides unique and highly formative experiences that are much sought after by a wide variety of non-physical beings. Physical experience, while challenging, is a spiritual evolution fast track and therefore highly coveted.

The 12×12 subdivisional structure of the Over-Soul allows each over-soul to have up to 144 sub-selves that each can bind to physical bodies for 144 parallel physical lives. And of course, one of these 144 sub-selves and its body is YOU!

The Higher Self, The True Self

Amongst those that embrace that they have a soul, many are still overly identified with their body as their identity. Even those that embrace the soul as their true identity may be missing a deeper appreciation of the true scope of their wider/higher self. Despite the fact that some use the term “Higher-Self” as a synonym for the “Over-Soul” I think it’s better used to refer to all the levels of self all the way up to, and including, Source. The figure below illustrates this idea.

Your body, and in a sense, even your soul, were created as a transient sentient entity to serve as an experiential and evolutionary vehicle for your over-soul. So in a very real sense, you could consider the over-soul that spawned your soul as your TRUE SELF!

And your Over-Soul is an immensely wise and powerful being that is always trying to encourage you to create the best experiences for yourself and to become the highest vision of yourself. Why? because you are part of it, and it is experiencing through you!

At this point you might be wondering, If this is true, why don’t I know it and feel it?This is a very good question.

When your soul incarnates (connects to a physical vehicle) it loses its memory of its greater existence. The “veil of forgetting” is intentional, it makes the earth game a fully immersive and truly formative experience. The game of life would not be the same if you knew it was just a game.

We also lose a lot of the fidelity of our connection to our higher-self (over-soul and source). This is an unavoidable consequence of incarnating into the lower frequency planes of existence — the physical planes. Our earthly level of consciousness is at a frequency so much lower than that of our higher-self that any stream of information coming down is subject to a large reduction of fidelity due to the frequency step down required. Yet we could still have a very good connection with our higher-self if it wasn’t for one thing — our out-of-control ego.

The constant chatter of the ego and analytical mind creates so much mental noise that we can’t hear the inner guiding voice of our higher-self. Essentially the signal to noise ratio is so low that the information coming from our higher-self gets drowned out. Hence, most people on Earth have almost totally lost connection with their higher-self and have completely forgotten what they really are.

What does it take to reestablish a clear connection to your higher-self? For one thing, it takes a clear and quiet mind. One must quell the constant chatter of the analytical and egoic mind and the fear and worry that dominates it. Another thing that helps is to reduce our busyness — the constant distractions of our hectic daily lives don’t leave much space for the presence of the higher-self. Making more time for solitude and meditation is a good start.

Even thou the loss of connection with our higher-self could be seen as “bad” it actually serves one of the reasons why we devised the game of life in the first place — to experience separation and to see what it could teach us — separation from the source of our beingness, separation from the knowing that we are all parts of one great being and interconnected and interdependent.

With training, you can learn how to move your locus of consciousness to any level of your wider/higher-self — your soul, over-soul, even Source, and perceive from that higher perspective. In fact, you can move your locus of consciousness to anywhere in the infinite matrix that is the conceptual/information space of the universal field of consciousness.
