Vedic Astrology Report for January 2023

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

This new year brings some very impactful and powerful events, especially from January 12 to 18, 2023. Mars, planet of action, goes direct on January 12, 2023, having been retrograde since the end of last October. On January 17, 2023, Saturn, planet of discipline and focus, changes signs and moves from Capricorn to Aquarius. Whenever Saturn, the slowest moving planet, changes signs, it is a major transit and now Aquarius significations will be emphasized for several years. Mercury, planet of communications, goes direct on January 18, 2023.

Mars, planet of action and assertiveness, has been retrograde since October 30, 2022, and now goes direct on January 12, 2023 at 13 degrees Taurus. As Mars slowly moves forward, it will remain in the sign of Taurus until March 12, 2023. When Mars is retrograde, it’s a great time to review your past actions, motivations, and compulsions. Hopefully, during the Mars retrograde phase, we learned how to respond to difficult circumstances without doing harm. Now as Mars goes direct, projects and plans can begin to move ahead, as our frustrations start to dissolve, and our enthusiasm returns.

We are inspired and determined to put our energies into stimulating and positive goals.
This most significant astrological event in January is Saturn changing signs, moving from the earth sign of Capricorn to the air sign of Aquarius on January 17, 2023. Saturn has been in Capricorn for about three years, since January 23, 2020. Saturn averages 2 ½ to 3 years to complete its transit through a sign, and now the fixed sign of Aquarius is highlighted as Saturn will remain there until March 29, 2025. Saturn rules both Capricorn and Aquarius, but Aquarius is its moolatrikona sign, which makes this transit comfortable for Saturn, and may give more favorable results.

Saturn is a planet that requires truth, authenticity, discipline, and neutrality. Effort, hard work, and service are required with Saturn. We need order, stability and a strong foundation with Saturn. As Saturn transits are long, patience and perseverance are also needed to do well.

Saturn transiting the progressive, alternative sign of Aquarius can bring great interest and innovation in science, technology, metaphysics, or humanitarian concerns. Aquarius is a community-oriented sign, so families, organizations, global concerns, and even group consciousness may be a major focus. Saturn in Aquarius motivates us to come together with others to inspire and express our creative energies for the greater good.

As Aquarius is a fixed air sign, Saturn transiting this sign can make us headstrong and frustrated, becoming more set in our beliefs as we refuse to change. Learn to be more accepting and flexible with new ideas and possibilities, be open to honest change, and let your heart lead. Be present, mindful, and kind, while letting go of the superficial in life. Take quiet time to meditate or commune with nature.

If your Ascendant is Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, or Scorpio, this transit of Saturn through Aquarius is especially impactful for you as it creates a transiting Shasha Yoga, that requires a positive expression of Saturn’s highest energies. Let Saturn help you with detachment, peacefulness, equanimity and greater insight into life.

Mercury, planet of communications and the intellect, has been retrograde since December 29, 2022, and remains retrograde until January 18, 2022. Use these first few weeks of January as a time of deep reflection and review of the past year. Take some time to assess what you’ve learned and carefully consider your intentions for 2023. After Mercury goes direct at 13 degrees Sagittarius on January 18, it’s a better time to clear up any miscommunications you may have experienced with others during Mercury retrograde, as now you can observe past situations with a greater understanding and mental clarity.

Vedic Astrology Report for December 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

December is always a significant month of introspection, letting go, and rebirth. Mars, planet of action, is retrograde all month, and aspects the Sun, Mercury, and Venus. The Sun transits the pivotal gandanta degrees of Scorpio and Sagittarius, followed by the winter solstice on December 21, 2022, creating an opening for deeper self-awareness and change. Saturn is completing its three-year transit through the sign of Capricorn. Mercury goes retrograde at the end of December, a time of review.

Mars is retrograde the entire month of December in the fixed sign of Taurus and goes direct on January 12, 2023. While Mars is retrograde it influences the signs of Leo, Scorpio, and Sagittarius. If you have planets located in any of these signs, you will be more affected by the Mars retrograde energies. This means that things may be stirred up or don’t move forward as planned. Let go of living your life as a reaction to the external stimulus that we all experience in modern life. Hopefully, we are learning to deal with our frustrations and inner conflicts in a more enlightened way, with grace and an open heart. Access your inner courage and put your energies into life-giving actions.

Mars retrograde aspects the Sun, Mercury, and Venus this month. On December 7, Mars retrograde in Taurus will oppose the Sun in Scorpio at 21 degrees. As both Mars and the Sun are in fixed signs, watch for increased stubbornness or feeling that you are at war with yourself. Use this fiery combination to uncover a greater sense of inner courage and esteem.

Next, Mars retrograde aspects Mercury at 19 degrees in Sagittarius on December 15, indicating a time to be more discerning in conversation, communications, and travel. We may be more critical, or quick to take offense, so practice calmness. On December 19, Mars retrograde aspects Venus, planet of relationships, at 17 degrees Sagittarius, that brings passionate energy, but can also bring unexpected frustrations with others if our needs are not met.

The Sun takes its yearly journey through the gandanta degrees of 29 degrees Scorpio and 0 degrees Sagittarius on December 15 and 16, 2022, which is always followed by the winter solstice on December 21. This is a time to let go of “old karmas” or misunderstandings and embrace a new, and more evolved outlook in our world. The winter solstice is a wonderful time of renewal and regeneration during this sacred time of year. Connect with family and friends and express your gratitude and generosity.

Take some quiet time to set meaningful intentions for the coming new year.
Saturn, the slowest moving planet, is ready to shift signs next month on Jan 12, 2023. This month while Saturn finishes its final weeks in the sign of Capricorn that began on January 23, 2020, consider how you have integrated the lessons of this major transit in the past three years. Saturn is a planet of truth, discipline, and neutrality, and while in the earth sign of Capricorn, we have all gone through major difficulties that have demanded effort, hard work, practicality, and focus. Have you also incorporated the higher aspects of Saturn that brings deeper insights into your life, along with the qualities of equanimity and inner stability?

At the end of the month Mercury goes retrograde at 0 degrees Capricorn on December 29, 2022 until January 18, 2023. Mercury is retrograde in Capricorn only a day, then moves back to the sign of Sagittarius on December 30, 2022, where it retrogrades from 29 degrees to 13 degrees of Sagittarius. Mercury retrograde is a time to be mindful and clear with your words, what you put in writing, and with any travel plans. As this Mercury retrograde period begins at the end of the year, this is a great time for reflection, introspection, and meditation.

Vedic Astrology Report for November 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

November heralds some very significant and intense astrological events this month. Mars, planet of action and passion, recently turned retrograde at 1 degree Gemini on October 30. Now we begin to feel the impact of this retrograde motion in November. Mars will eventually move back from the air sign of Gemini, to the fixed sign of Taurus on November 13. We experience a very critical total lunar eclipse on November 8, which is the date of the U.S. mid-term elections.  Jupiter, the great benefic, goes direct on November 23 at 4 degrees Pisces.

Retrograde Mars occurs once every two years, and this important shift just began October 30, 2022 and will end on January 12, 2023. While Mars, planet of energy, assertiveness, action, and anger is retrograde, we are asked to examine how we deal with inner conflicts and frustrations. Mars retrograde can amplify inner tensions, anger, and passive-aggressive tendencies. This is a time to do your inner work. Review past actions and results to determine if you are asserting yourself in productive and life-affirming directions. Confront your inner fears and frustrations and don’t live in the past. Slowly and courageously move forward through any self-imposed limitations.

During Mars retrograde we can feel tired and lethargic, or can feel restless and indecisive, as these Mars energies may not be consistent, and frequently can be out-of-balance. We may need to unplug from the internet and our devices occasionally to decrease excessive mental/emotional stimulus in order to achieve some sense of neutrality, peace, and calm. Mars retrograde can also bring a passionate inner intensity that needs a proper creative outlet. Ask yourself what is important to you and what are you good at? Be patient and acknowledge how powerful you are, and adjust and direct these energies into more positive, new, uplifting expressions.

A total lunar eclipse occurs on November 8, 2022 around 4 AM MST. This eclipse is at 21 degrees Aries in the nakshatra of Bharani. Bharani is considered a fierce nakshatra and generates a type of life, death, rebirth energy. We may be ending one phase of life, and beginning a new one, so this eclipse carries an intense, transformative energy. The deity of Bharani is Yama, the lord of death and king of justice, indicating a deep purifying expression. Self-discipline, patience, and true understanding are qualities required at this time, as Bharani nakshatra is also called “the star of restraint.”

As this eclipse occurs at a full Moon, the Moon will be at 21 degrees Aries conjunct Rahu, the north node of the Moon, while the Sun is in the opposite sign of Libra at 21 degrees conjunct Ketu, the south node of the Moon. Mercury, planet of communications, will also at 21 degrees of Libra and is combust the Sun. So during this eclipse and even several days either side of November 8, be extra careful in your communications with others, or with any business transactions written or verbal, as there can be misunderstandings or feelings arise around not being heard or seen clearly. Discernment, objectivity, and good boundaries are needed with Mercury so close to the Sun. Tempers may flair and confrontations increase with the Moon closely conjunct Rahu in fiery Aries during this eclipse. This is a major period to be mindful, present, and peaceful.

Eclipses are points of change with increased awareness, offering us visions into our own evolution. They carry a spiritual connotation, and can awaken us to our greater potential if we choose. Meditation, retreat, yoga, and contemplative practices that stabilize the mind are remedies for eclipses. Things we have previously ignored, now come to light for us to address or understand. Ultimately, eclipses can help us to face the unknown and hidden, giving us needed insights in order to make more conscious and intelligent choices.

On November 13, 2022, retrograde Mars shifts signs, and moves back to the Venus-ruled sign of Taurus, and remains there until next spring, March 12, 2023. Mars retrograde in Taurus can bring up inner conflict concerning actions we have taken in the past concerning our finances and values or with our intimate relationships. Let go of any frustrations, and use this time of review to gain insight on how to make any internal corrections for the future.

Jupiter, the great benefic planet, goes direct at 4 degrees Pisces on November 23, 2022, having been retrograde since July 28, 2022. Jupiter energies now begin to move forward. Jupiter in Pisces is highly spiritual, sensitive and compassionate, generating deeper understanding of life. Expansive Jupiter now directs its energies into the outer world and this is a time we are motivated to be more generous and giving to those in need.

Vedic Astrology Report for October 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

At the beginning of October, Mercury turns direct on October 2, 2022, and we slowly move forward with greater clarity and better communications. Mid-month, Venus, planet of relationships, transits its own sign of Libra on October 19, 2022, where it joins the south node Ketu, increasing our focus on spiritual love. The last week of October brings more impactful and significant astrological events, with the start of the fall eclipse season, beginning with a solar eclipse on October 25, 2022.  Then on October 30, 2022, Mars, planet of action, goes retrograde on October 30, 2022 through January 12, 2023, creating some reversals and increased frustrations.

Mercury, planet of communications and our intellect, goes direct at 0 degrees Virgo on October 2, having been retrograde since September 9, 2022. As Mercury slowly begins to more forward, it brings more mental clarity and awareness, and the ability to be more objective and discerning as Mercury moves through its most favored sign of Virgo. Educational pursuits are also favored while Mercury remains in Virgo until October 26, 2022.

Venus, planet of relationships, love, and finance, begins its transit through its own sign of Libra from October 19 until November 11, 2022. Venus will join Ketu, the south node of the Moon, in Libra, which increases our sensitivity and vulnerability in relationships. On a higher level, we can experience a deeper desire for spiritual love and happiness. As Ketu rules enlightenment and the spiritual realms, and Venus rules love relationships, our interactions with others become the vehicle for awakening our hearts with compassion for ourselves and our world. The challenges with Venus/Ketu energies are fear of rejection or confusion in relationships. Venus also rules finances, so we should be extra careful and clear in financial dealings during this transit. Venus and Ketu will conjunct exactly at the beginning of November.

The intense and powerful events in October begin with the start of the fall eclipse season. The first eclipse of the pair, is a solar eclipse that occurs on October 25, 2022 at 3:48 AM PDT, at 7 degrees Libra in the nakshatra of Swati. The second eclipse, occurs two weeks later on November 8, 2022, and is a total lunar eclipse at 21 degrees Aries in the nakshatra of Bharani.

During the October 25 solar eclipse in Libra, the Sun is debilitated, and Venus will be combust the Sun, which gives some challenge. Eclipses can bring revelations, the potential for change, and increased awareness.  With Venus involved with this solar eclipse, it gives rise to themes around self-love and our ability to open our hearts with others. Relationship issues can surface in order to be healed. Anything that is not of unconditional love must be released. Other possible topics that can surface with this October 25 eclipse are women’s rights, the role of leaders, global warming, and finances.

As this solar eclipse on October 25 occurs in the nakshatra of Swati, which rules the wind and has a scattering effect, it is wise to be mentally focused and grounded especially around this eclipse period. In Vedic culture, eclipses are not considered good days for mundane activities, as the energies can be unstable. Instead, eclipses are days for spiritual expressions, and are positive for meditation, going within, and being in peaceful environments.

The last significant astrological event this month occurs on October 30, 2022 when Mars, planet of action, energy, assertiveness, and courage, goes retrograde until January 12, 2023, through the rest of this year. Mars turns retrograde at 1 degree Gemini on October 30 and eventually will transit back into the sign of Taurus on November 13, 2022, and remains in that sign for the rest of the time it is retrograde. When Mars is retrograde, we can experience possible conflicts, reversals, and misplaced energies. This transit tests our inner strength and courage, and requires we go within to find our real power and support. Mars retrograde can bring delays or restrictions, so during this period we must be more disciplined, attentive, and patient with ourselves in order to move forward and progress. Otherwise, we become less motivated to act at the appropriate time or we can feel out of sync in our environment.

The forward-moving and action-oriented Mars now feels “held back” by being retrograde, and eventually, frustrations and angry feelings can easily increase. Watch for heightened sensitivity and becoming easily provoked by others. This is not a time to lose our equilibrium or see life through the lens of fear, so stay calm and be neutral in your interactions with others. Think before you act and before making important decisions, especially if you are experiencing amplified emotions. This is a time to live your life with greater integrity and grace.

Upayes or remedial measures can be used to help mitigate and transmute some of the challenges we might experience with Mars retrograde. As activity is important to Mars, it responds well to energetic and physical disciplines such as yoga, tai chi, chi gong, and even body work and massage. Taking a conflict resolution course is another positive expression. Mars also is uplifted by being of service or working as an advocate to help those in need.

Nostradamus Predicted the Queen Elizabeth’s Death in 2022 & a ‘Great Uprising’ Against King Charles III

Source: The People’s Voice

A series of chilling predictions by Nostradamus about the Queen’s death in 2022 – and the sudden abdication of King Charles III – have been uncovered.

The French astrologer and seer has attracted international notoriety for predicting future events such as the 9/11 Twin Towers attacks, the Iraq War, the death of Princess Diana and the coronavirus pandemic.

Now passages published by Nostradamus in 1555 show his insights into the “Abdication of Charles III of England” following the death of the Queen.

For the year 2022, the seer’s revelations included the start of a new world war, the farewell of a queen, a global shake-up, with natural events, which will trigger worldwide chaos and power struggles, as well as the fall of a meteorite, an economic collapse and earthquakes.

In 2019 alone, Nostradamus predicted the fire that razed the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, and predicted that during 2020, commercial space travel would be possible, something that the Space X company ventured into.

According to Nostradamus, King Charles will be forced out by the British public after they decide he is “unworthy”, leading to an unexpected man being named as the new king.

“A man, who, later, they considered unworthy.

“The people will force out the King of the Islands.

“A man will replace him who never expected to be king.”

Author Mario Reading, a leading expert on Nostradamus, deciphered more of the astrologer’s predictions on the subject in his book: Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies For The Future.

In it, Reading explains that Nostradamus successfully predicted that the Queen would die in 2022.

“This quatrain will come as no surprise to the British people and it has wide implications,” Reading wrote.

“The preamble is that Queen Elizabeth II will die, circa 2022, at the age of around ninety-six, five years sort of her mother’s term of life.

“Prince Charles will be crowned in her stead, and become ‘King of the Islands’, the implication here being that he is no longer king of the other regions in the world over which his mother reigned – Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc. – which will have, in the interim, become republics.”

According to Nostradamus, Charles’ reign will be brief and utterly disastrous. His subjects, the British people, will rise up against him, furious with his betrayal of the British nation.

Could Nostradamus be referring to Charles’ close friendship with Klaus Schwab and his allegiance to the World Economic Forum? Charles has already sworn allegiance to the globalist WEF, signalling that the Great Reset is his number one priority, which places the sovereignty of his nation in peril.

Then again, Nostradamus could be referring to Charles’ close friendship with Jimmy Savile, Britain’s most prolific pedophile.

There are plenty of reasons why the British people could be set to rise up against Charles III. Don’t forget his role in the tragic death of Princess Diana, the young and beautiful wife he was determined to cast aside.

Charles’ shady past should come as no surprise. Britain and the Commonwealth now have a sovereign who is descended Dracula, the tyrant who dipped his bread in the blood of his impaled victims.

So perhaps it’s not surprising that Charles is close friends with Klaus Schwab, the globalist overlord, whose plans for autocratic enslavement of the human race represent a modern version of the tyrant Vlad Dracula’s extremely violent style of rule.

Nostradamus goes on to claim that the public’s ongoing anger towards Charles is so great that when his agenda is revealed, he will be forced to abdicate. Reading explains:

“The pressure on him is so great, and his age so much against him, that Charles agrees to abdicate in favor of his son.

“The question is, which son? For in the last line Nostradamus makes it very clear that ‘a man will replace him who never expected to be king’.

“Does that mean that Prince William, who would have expected to succeed his father, is no longer in the picture?

This would mean that woke Prince Harry, favorite of the World Economic Forum, becomes king in his stead? That would make him King Henry IX, aged just 38.

The predictions have created a storm online, prompting many to claim the global elite are manufacturing a situation in which Harry and his wife Meghan become King and Queen consort of England.

If Nostradamus is correct and Charles is forced to abdicate, something strange happens to William’s line, and Harry is crowned King, then it will be as clear as day that Klaus Schwab and the WEF have infiltrated every government and institution on Earth and the globalist’s dream of a one-world government will have arrived.

Vedic Astrology Report for September 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

In September, Mars transits the Venus-ruled sign of Taurus the entire month, and brings greater patience and the desire for creativity. Mercury, planet of communications, transits its exalted sign of Virgo, goes retrograde on September 9, and is combust the Sun later in the month. Venus joins Mercury in Virgo on September 24, and gives us opportunities to overcome perfectionism and find common ground with others.

Mars transits the fixed earth sign of Taurus all month, which makes us more determined, purposeful, and sometimes more stubborn. We are driven more by financial concerns and uncovering our true values with Mars in the Venus-ruled sign of Taurus. We tend to be a little more patient in attaining our goals. We express our creative talents now with passion and spontaneity.

Mercury, planet of communications, intellect, media, and commerce, transits its exalted sign of Virgo the entire month of September, until October 26, 2022. In general, Mercury traveling through its favorite sign brings greater focus, perception, analytical ability, and efficiency. Mercury in Virgo is very positive for educational or writing pursuits. But in its extreme, Mercury exalted can be quite sensitive and perfectionistic, and prone to over-thinking and excessive worry.

However, Mercury will go retrograde at 14 degrees Virgo on September 9 until October 2, 2022. When retrograde, Mercury’s energies tend to be more internal or inward. During the retrograde phase, it is an excellent time to deepen your spiritual practices, especially with meditation or pranayama (breathwork). Mercury retrograde can be a time to review and make any needed adjustments to your daily routine and schedule that supports your energy now. We may also be guided to understand the workings of our mind, as we are learning to be more discerning and neutral with our thoughts.

Retrograde Mercury in Virgo exactly opposes retrograde Jupiter in Pisces at 10 degrees on September 18, 2022. As Mercury is exalted and Jupiter in its own sign, both being powerfully placed and both retrograde, this combination can be quite insightful. Any new trainings, seminars, or classes of a spiritual nature are highlighted.

The powerful Sun moves into the earth sign of Virgo from September 16 to October 17, 2022. Now Mercury is with the Sun in Virgo and travels especially close to the Sun from September 20 to 25, which is called combustion. The exact conjunction occurs at 6 degrees Virgo on September 22. Combustion of a retrograde Mercury can indicate issues with communications, computers, and travel plans.

Venus, planet of love, relationships, healing, and finance, transits its debilitated sign of Virgo on September 24 until October 18, 2022. Because Venus will join exalted Mercury in Virgo, Venus will have some reversal of its debility as it is with an exalted planet. In general, these two benefic and friendly planets together in Virgo are very creative and can amplify artistic expressions.  But as Venus is in its weaker sign and Mercury is retrograde and combust, watch for a tendency to seek approval rather than honestly speaking one’s mind.

On the positive side, Venus in the sensitive earth sign of Virgo increases our focus on natural and alternative healing modalities, growing our own food, and adopting a healthy diet. We want to protect nature and focus on environmental activism. Venus transiting Virgo is very service-oriented and dedicated to helping others.

In relationships, Venus in the Mercury-ruled sign of Virgo can give a tendency to mentally over-analyze rather than feel true emotions. Venus in Virgo gives us an opportunity to learn to be more vulnerable and less critical in relating to others. Especially from September 29 to October 17, 2022, Venus is traveling extra close to the Sun, and is combust, so this is a time to be more vigilant in all your relationships, and let go of impossible expectations with others. Connect honestly, heart to heart.  This is a time to choose love and compassion over doubt and fear.

Vedic Astrology Report for August 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

The first ten days of August carry strong assertive and potent energies with the Mars/Rahu conjunct in Aries until August 10. The Sun moves to Leo, its own sign mid-month, adding independent and creative energies. Versatile Mercury begins its long transit through its exalted sign of Virgo and is in opposition to Jupiter bringing a focus on education, media, and travel. Venus transits sensitive Cancer, aspected by Jupiter and Saturn, with a focus on family and security.

The Mars/Rahu conjunction in Aries until August 10, 2022 is quite powerful. Rahu can amplify the challenging qualities of Mars, so watch your anger, and frustrations and be mindful, patient, and neutral. Try not to look at life through the lens of fear, and be open to new possibilities. These two planets can generate a lot of energy so direct this combination into positive actions and uplifting projects that generate enthusiasm.

In addition, Mars and Rahu are with the outer planet Uranus, which adds an unexpected twist, and may generate high-voltage, inventive energies and breakthroughs. These three planets together can also indicate unpredictable, sudden behavior and rebellion. The exact conjunct occurs on August 1 to 2, 2022 when Mars, Rahu, and Uranus conjunct at 24 degrees Aries.

From August 10 until October 15, 2022, Mars transits the fixed, earth sign of Taurus, and is no longer with Rahu and Uranus. Mars in Taurus is more determined and maybe a little more patient. Mars in the Venus-ruled sign can ignite more passion and a focus on financial ambitions.

The Sun transits through Leo, its own sign, from August 16 to September 16, 2022. In general, the Sun in Leo brings an increased desire for self-expression and creativity. However, the Sun in the fixed fire sign may indicate increasing heat waves and fires. When the Sun transits the powerful sign of Leo, it will be aspected by Rahu in Aries and Mars in Taurus. These aspects increase personal ambitions and drive for success. The Sun transiting Leo wants to be in charge and can challenge authority. Be in your integrity and practice generosity and compassion. Helping others is helpful in opening the heart.

Mercury, planet of communications, commerce, the media, and the intellect, transits Virgo, its exalted sign, from August 20 until October 26, 2022. Because Mercury is slowing down to go retrograde on September 9, it will be spending a longer time than usual in its exalted sign. This is a positive transit to have better boundaries with others and to be more discriminating and objective in all areas of life. We want order and a good routine in our lives. This is a wonderful time to deepen your meditation practice or begin journaling for greater self-awareness. Just watch for over-thinking or excessive worry.

During this period, exalted Mercury will oppose Jupiter transiting its own sign of Pisces. Both of these planets are well placed and now are influencing each other. Mercury/Jupiter energies give a deeper thirst for knowledge and insight. This could be a great time to pursue your educational goals or attend seminars. We want to share what we know with others, and participate in activities that stimulate and expand our mind. The desire to travel may also be a theme, whether long-distance or short trips.

Venus, planet of relationships and creativity, transits the water sign of Cancer most of August, from August 6 to August 30, 2022. Venus in the sensitive, motherly-oriented sign of Cancer can be more sentimental and emotional. Connecting with family and friends we truly care about can make us more resilient.

Venus will be aspected by both a Jupiter trine in Pisces and a Saturn opposition in Capricorn. Jupiter trines Venus exactly at 13 degrees on August 13. Jupiter and Venus energies can add a spiritual dimension to love. Jupiter/Venus energies enjoy giving – so donating time to a good cause or humanitarian concerns are positive expressions. Both Jupiter and Venus are “teacher” planets, so teaching or counseling is favored.

The Saturn opposition to Venus brings the focus on commitment in love if it is authentic. Saturn opposes Venus exactly at 26 degrees Leo on August 28.  Saturn at its best can bring neutrality and equanimity to life. We are learning that any separateness we feel is an illusion. Saturn and Venus ask us to be realistic and responsible for our own self-love, and not to under-value ourselves. This may be a good time to heal family relationships. Saturn/Venus prompts us to let go of old blocks to love and give love unconditionally without expectation.

Vedic Astrology Report for July 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

The first part of July brings many planets transiting their own signs, powerful placements. Mars is conjunct Rahu, the north node, which amplifies assertive energies this month.  A major shift occurs mid-month when retrograde Saturn changes signs and transits back to Capricorn. Benefic Jupiter goes retrograde at the end of July.

From late on July 1 until July 12, 2022 there are five planets transiting their own signs, which is somewhat unusual. Saturn transits Aquarius, Jupiter is in Pisces, Mars is in Aries, Venus is in Taurus, and Mercury is in Gemini. When planets are traveling through their own signs they are more comfortable and express more of their true nature in general.

Mars transits its own sign of Aries from June 26 to the morning of August 10, 2022. Mars conjuncts Rahu the north node during this period, and the exact conjunction occurs at 24 degrees Aries from July 31 until August 2, 2022. Mars is quite powerful in its own sign of Aries, and we are more adventurous, independent and enthusiastic. But as Mars and Rahu move closer together, we can experience an acceleration of impatience, anger, agitation, and aggression in our world. The Rahu aspect on Mars intensifies desire, ambition, as well as the need to dominate or provoke. So channel these challenging energies into creative, peaceful actions and inspirational goals. Calming and centering modalities like meditation, yoga, and body work are good remedies.

Saturn, planet of responsibility, truth, and restriction, retrogrades back into its own sign of Capricorn on July 12, 2022, having briefly traveled through Aquarius for 2 ½ months, from April 29 until July 12. Saturn will remain in Capricorn until January 17, 2023, and will be retrograde until October 22, 2022. When Saturn is retrograde its influence may be more prominent. This is a time to slow down and review your personal responsibilities and decide if any changes need to be made. Are you taking full responsibility for your life? If you need to restructure or reorganize your life in a more authentic way, then this is a good time to do so.

Saturn retrograde and transiting the sign of Capricorn gives strong determination and sometimes a rigid adherence to tradition, which can create greater restrictions and burdens. Things are not moving forward and as quickly as we would like. Saturn delays or slow things down so we can see what is present and true, and then make better, life-affirming choices. As Saturn is the lord of karma, we are also dealing with the consequences of previous actions now and we may be held accountable with Saturn retrograde. This is a time of developing greater endurance, patience, and neutrality, and it’s good to focus on long-term positive goals.

Jupiter, the great benefic, has been transiting Pisces, a sign it rules, since April 14, 2022. Jupiter will now go retrograde on July 28, 2022 at 14 degrees Pisces until November 23, 2022.  Jupiter is the planet of spirituality and prosperity, and when retrograde our abundance is experienced more internally, rather than on a material or outer level. This can be a time we reap the benefits from deep, introspective work and finding our authentic truth. We find that creating peace of mind, being in our heart center, and actively being helpful and of service to those around us is of great value, and needed more than ever in our world.

Vedic Astrology Report for June 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

June brings some relief from the recent spring eclipses. Mercury, the planet of communications goes direct June 3. Saturn in Aquarius goes retrograde on June 4, a time of introspection. On June 15, Venus conjuncts Rahu in Aries, a time our relationships are tested. On June 19, Venus begins its yearly transit through its favorable sign of Taurus. On June 25 and 26, Mars transits the gandanta degrees at the end of the zodiac as it begins its transit through Aries with an aspect from Saturn. This is an important period to face and heal old challenges with courage and commitment.

Very early the morning of June 3, Mercury, the planet of travel and communications, goes direct at 1 degree Taurus, having been retrograde since May 10. This may signal some progress with the recent travel issues many have experienced. When Mercury changes direction, we can change our minds or plans. Mercury direct is a good time to clear up or resolve any miscommunications or arguments and move forward.

Saturn goes retrograde at 1 degree Aquarius on June 4, 2022, and stays retrograde until October 22, 2022. During this retrograde phase of almost five months, Saturn will eventually move back into the sign of Capricorn on July 12. With Saturn retrograde, things may slow down and you feel a bit more frustrated. This is a period of developing patience and tolerance. You may find you work harder, and are able to have greater concentration and focus. Saturn retrograde is a great time for inner reflection and building a deeper, inner strength.

On June 15, the nodes of the Moon, Rahu and Ketu, finally begin to move, after having been stationing at 28 degrees for 2 ½ months. Rahu in Aries will now conjunct Venus at 27 degrees Aries on June 15. Rahu represents a more worldly and materialistic desire. With Rahu’s influence on Venus, the planet of love, relationship, and finances, this is a time to be careful of
any excessive urgency or manipulation around love and money matters. Try not to rush decisions, but get clear and think things through, and connect to your heart. We realize we need to develop greater compassion, selfless love, and compromise in our relationships to be fulfilled.

On June 19 until July 13, 2022, Venus happily transits its own sign of Taurus. Venus in Taurus loves harmony and brings the need for greater stability in relationships, along with the desire to be with family and good friends. We want a more comfortable environment. We are motivated to be more creative, and enjoy attending art shows or musical events. As Taurus is an earth sign, we benefit from spending time in natural surroundings and getting grounded! We may feel a greater urgency to get involved in environmental issues.

At the end of June, Mars begins its transit through its own sign of Aries from June 26 until August 10, 2022. But first Mars must travel through the transformative gandanta degrees of 29 Pisces to 0 degrees Aries on June 25 and 26, 2022. When planets move from the last degree of a water sign to the first degree of a fire sign, these degrees and are considered challenging, but they can also generate substantial growth. This is a time when long-held issues or lessons surface in order to be healed, either personally or collectively. As action-oriented Mars is the planet that is gandanta, we are asked to let go of old ways of handling conflict, war, and aggression, and to choose new and positive ways of settling our differences.

Also on June 26, Mars will be aspected by Saturn in Aquarius at 0 degrees Aries, a gandanta degree. Saturn and Mars aspects can manifest as a push/pull energy, and some struggle may occur. Then as Mars continues its transits through Aries, we can experience more enthusiasm, adventure, and spontaneity.

Vedic Astrology Report for May 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

May is a transformative and impactful month, especially due to the total lunar eclipse in Scorpio on May 15, 2022. Akshaya Tritiya, a very auspicious day in the Vedic calendar, occurs on May 3, when the Sun and Moon are both exalted. Saturn, planet of truth and responsibility, now begins its brief 2 ½ month transit through community-oriented Aquarius. Exalted Venus is with Jupiter in Pisces most of May, generating hope and compassion. Mercury, planet of communications and travel, goes retrograde on May 10. The exalted Sun conjuncts the north node Rahu in Aries, an ambitious combination.

This year, Akshaya Tritiya, a very auspicious day in the Vedic calendar, occurs on May 3, 2022. This positive day occurs each year on the third lunar day of the waxing moon in either April or May, when the Sun and Moon are both exalted. According to ancient legend, this is the day when the sacred Ganges River descended to the earth from heaven. In India, purchasing gold on this day is considered favorable, as it provides increased wealth for the coming years. This is considered a very auspicious day for starting new activities that you wish to grow, prosper, and endure.

Saturn is briefly traveling through its own sign of Aquarius, which just started April 29 and lasts until July 12, 2022, when it will retrograde back into Capricorn until January 2023. So we get just a taste of the energies of Saturn in Aquarius for the next few months. With Saturn in Aquarius we start to take a more serious and critical review of our ideals and beliefs. Are we collectively living up to our highest values and principles? The power of authentic communities and groups working toward a common goal or cause is appealing. We sense the value of a truly supportive social network in order to develop much needed resilience in our lives.

Venus is exalted in Pisces most of this month until it moves to Aries on May 24, 2022. While Venus travels through Pisces it is with benefic Jupiter there, and these two planets together open our hearts, with greater love, grace, and compassion. We may find it easier to reconcile our differences with others. Take advantage of this wonderfully creative and inspirational energy the first three weeks this month.

Mercury, planet of communications, goes retrograde on May 10, 2022 at 10 degrees Taurus. Mercury will retrograde back to 1 degree Taurus, and finally go direct the morning of June 3. This is a period to be extra clear and precise with all types of communications, written or verbal. Also double-check any travel plans, and back up computers. From May 18 to May 24, Mercury will be combust the Sun in Taurus, so pay extra attention during this time. Mercury retrograde is a positive time for deeper, inner reflection and meditation.

The Sun, transiting its exalted sign of Aries since April 13, will conjunct the north node Rahu at 28 degrees Aries on May 13, just before it exits the sign on May 14. The Sun and Rahu together increases one’s ambitions and desires for material success and greater independence. But watch for any amplification of ego and direct this powerful energy toward spiritual advancement.

The main astrological event in May is the total lunar eclipse that occurs on May 15, 2022 at 9:12 PM (PDT) at 1 degree Scorpio. This eclipse is very close to the Moon’s degree of debility which is 3 degrees Scorpio. During this full moon lunar eclipse, our feelings run deep, full of intensity and heightened sensitivity. This eclipse can initiate a significant healing process as we transform and shift this exceptional mystical energy into something far greater than we can imagine.

This lunar eclipse occurs in the nakshatra called Vishakha, which is symbolized as a “fork in the road.” This can indicate a time to make important choices in life, deciding which path is best to take for our personal growth and evolution, especially if we have been feeling out of balance. Eclipses bring increased awareness and revelations, and are times of change and new beginnings.  Eclipses are not days for material life, but are days for introspection and spiritual activities, such as meditation, yoga, and retreat.

Vedic Astrology Report for April 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

April is a very busy month with major astrological activity that brings shifts and challenges, motivating us to grow and transform with a new focus. At the beginning of the month is the intense Mars and Saturn conjunction that also aspects the nodes Rahu and Ketu. Two major planets change signs this month, first Jupiter moves to Pisces on April 13, followed by Saturn briefly moving to Aquarius on April 28. The Sun and Venus each move to their powerful exalted signs this month. Finally the spring eclipse season starts on April 30 with a solar eclipse in the sign of Aries.

Mars, planet of action and energy, has been transiting its exalted sign of Capricorn since February 26, 2022 when it joined Saturn there. Saturn is also powerfully placed in Capricorn, a sign it rules. Mars and Saturn are not at ease with each other, so together they bring increased volatility and friction. Mars will exactly conjunct Saturn at 28 degrees Capricorn on April 4 and 5, 2022. At 28 degrees, assertive Mars is at its pinnacle of total exaltation, but with the restrictive Saturn influence we should watch for an amplification of anger, frustration, anxiety, or impulsivity. But if motivated by pure intention and strong will, we can rise above these barriers with greater understanding and vision. Find healthy outlets for this build-up of energy. Know that your actions do matter and have great impact. Be patient, understanding and forgiving with others.

Also on April 4 and 5,while Mars and Saturn are conjunct at 28 degrees, Mars will aspect Rahu in Aries at 28 degrees, and Saturn will aspect Ketu in Libra at 28 degrees too! Mars aspecting Rahu can manifest as a dominating energy, with control issues or power struggles. Instead, channel this amplified, ambitious energy into inspirational or creative expressions. Saturn aspecting Ketu teaches us to detach and let go of the superficial or excess in our lives. Unexplained pressures or uncertainly can arise. We need to be more realistic and practical. Also, Jupiter in Aquarius aspects Ketu exactly at 28 degrees at this time and gives a much needed spiritual focus.

The Sun begins its annual transit through its exalted sign of Aries from April 13 until May 14, 2022. The Sun rules the eastern direction, suggesting the sense of new beginnings and the excitement we feel during this particular time of year.  The Sun is the planet that represents the connection to our innermost essence, so this is a positive time for meditation and the practice of self-inquiry. The Sun is a pitta, fiery planet, so watch for being overly stimulated and impatient, which can result in frustrations.

A big shift occurs when Jupiter changes signs on April 13, 2022, moving to its favorable sign of Pisces for over a year. In general, Jupiter stays in a sign a little over a year, so when Jupiter shifts signs it is significant. Jupiter is happy residing in its own sign of Pisces, and this transit can promote a deeper interest in spiritual studies and contemplative practices. There is a greater emphasis on humanitarian and charitable causes. Watch though for exaggerated idealism and lack of boundaries.  Jupiter’s generosity, compassion, and sensitivity is apparent during this transit through the water sign of Pisces.

Venus begins its transit through the favorable sign of Pisces where it is exalted from April 27 to May 23, 2022. Venus will be joining Jupiter there. Venus in Pisces brings a longing for greater kindness, love, and peace to alleviate the suffering and challenges we see around us. Venus rules fine art and beauty, so we enjoy being more creative and self-expressive. However, Venus in Pisces needs to learn to discern and have proper boundaries.  Adding more devotional and spiritual content to our lives is suggested, as Venus rules the path of Bhakti Yoga.

Venus exactly conjuncts Jupiter at 3 degrees Pisces on April 30, the solar eclipse day. These two teacher planets together create a dwi-guru yoga (Jupiter is the teacher of the gods, Venus is the teacher of the demons). This is a wonderful time to expand our knowledge and promote spiritual awareness. Jupiter and Venus together can increase romantic opportunities, and promote artistic, creative, and healing ventures. But watch for over-doing things.

Saturn, planet of focus and discipline, begins a brief 2 ½ month transit through Aquarius, starting April 28 until July 12, 2022. Saturn will only go to 1 degree Aquarius and then retrograde back into Capricorn on July 12, 2022. It’s not until January 17, 2023 that Saturn fully begins its transit through Aquarius. Saturn in Aquarius prompts us to review our contributions to society and to our planet, with a more humanitarian focus. Saturn in the fixed air sign of Aquarius can be determined or become obstinate and hard to change.

The end of April marks the start of the spring eclipse season. A solar eclipse occurs at 16 degrees Aries on April 30, 2022, at 1:28 PM (PDT) in the nakshatra of Bharani. This eclipse will be followed by a total lunar eclipse next month on May 15, 2022 (PDT). The April 30 solar eclipse is in the fierce nakshatra of Bharani and generates a type of life, death, rebirth energy. We may be ending one phase of life, and beginning a new one. The deity of Bharani is Yama, the lord of death and king of justice, indicates this eclipse brings transformative and purifying energies.  Bharani nakshatra is called the “star of restraint,” so self-discipline, patience and true understanding are required at this time. Eclipses are points of change and offer us insights into our own evolution. They carry a spiritual connotation, awakening us to our greater potential. Meditation, retreat, and inner work are remedies for eclipses.

Vedic Astrology Report for March 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

March brings a significant event when the powerful nodes of the Moon, Rahu and Ketu, shift signs on March 16, 2022, moving to Aries and Libra. This indicates new events, lessons, and important changes occur in Aries and Libra through November 2023. Mars is exalted in Capricorn this month, and will exactly conjunct Saturn on April 4, 2022. Mercury quickly transits two signs this month, first traveling through Aquarius where it joins Jupiter, and then Mercury moves to its debilitated sign of Pisces the last week of this month.

The nodes of the Moon are planets in Vedic astrology and carry great karmic impact, usually staying in a sign about 18 months or so. This time the nodes will stay in Aries and Libra for a few months longer, until November 28, 2023. We experience life lessons now revolving around the significations of the signs of Aries and Libra. Aries and Libra are both cardinal signs, denoting leadership qualities, moving forward, and being self-initiating and creative. On the negative side, cardinal signs can display a domineering energy. We will be learning to work well with others, creating balance in all our relationships (personal, global, and with Nature). We are learning to be selfless and be respectful of the needs of others, as we find a peaceful equilibrium.

The nodes are called shadow planets or chaya grahas, and are connected to eclipse energies. The nodes travel backwards through the zodiac. Rahu (north node) will move from Taurus to Aries, while Ketu (south node) shifts from Scorpio to Libra from March 16, 2022 until November 28, 2023. Nodal transits can be quite impactful and we can experience sudden events, deep growth and transformation, and even some confusion. Rahu teaches through life experiences, while Ketu teaches through releasing past patterns and letting go.

Rahu in Mars-ruled Aries increases our ambitions and the need for adventures. We are more competitive and action-oriented. Rahu transiting fiery and impatient Aries can generate an urgency to make quick and fast changes without thinking of others or the results of our actions.  So be cautious if moving too fast without some consideration for all concerned. Rising feelings of frustration can occur if our personal expression is blocked or delayed.

Ketu in Venus-ruled Libra brings lessons in love and relationships. We may set expectations too high in our dealings with others or we become extra sensitive to rejection.  We are learning about perfectionism and commitment in relationships. We really want deep, spiritual love in our lives now.  We are learning to create balance and harmony in all our relationships, while giving freely from the heart with less attachment. Bhakti Yoga or devotional practices are remedies for this transit.

When the nodes shift on March 16, 2022, Rahu in Aries will be aspected by Mars in Capricorn, and Ketu in Libra will now be aspected by Saturn in Capricorn. In other words, both nodes will be aspected by challenging planets.

During part of the time that Ketu is transiting Libra, Saturn in Capricorn will aspect Ketu from March 16, 2022 until January 2023. Both Saturn and Ketu can teach us detachment. Saturn, a planet of truth and practicality influencing otherworldly Ketu directs us to let go and still be present in life. But we can also lose sight of the big picture and lack focus. Let Saturn’s strength and discipline guide you.

Also beginning on March 16 until April 7, 2022, Mars in Capricorn will aspect Rahu in Aries. Mars aspecting Rahu is a very dominating energy and is about testing your power and strength. Work on channeling this combustible, forceful energy into positive expressions in your life, such as developing your spiritual practice, doing yoga or athletic ventures, or volunteering to help others.

Mars is transiting Capricorn, its most powerful sign, the whole month of March until April 7, 2022, which helps us access our inner courage and power. Mars in Capricorn is traveling with Saturn there and these two planets are not friendly with each other. Later Mars and Saturn will exactly conjunct at 28 degrees on April 4, 2022, and Mars will be at its pinnacle of exaltation at 28 degrees, but will feel restricted by Saturn.

And remember that the nodes, Rahu and Ketu, are also being aspected by Mars and Saturn, also exact on April 4 which is quite extraordinary. However, Jupiter, the great benefic, will be influencing Ketu very closely, so gives us some support and upliftment.  We may begin to feel these planetary aspects toward the end of March and the beginning of April, so the end of this month is a period to be more observant and careful, as we may feel challenged or more agitated. This is a time to work with the qualities of resiliency, neutrality, and compassion. Use these powerful planetary energies as a catalyst for deeper spiritual growth and self-transformation.

Mercury, planet of communications, transits Aquarius from March 6 until March 23, 2022, and joins expansive Jupiter there. Education and learning are key focus. We have a thirst for knowledge, so this is a good time to take courses or seminars.  Later, during the last week of March, Mercury quickly transits Pisces, its sign of debility from March 23 until April 7, 2022. This is a time to be extra discerning, have good boundaries, and be clear in all your communications. Meditation, introspection, or pranayama are remedies.

Vedic Astrology Report for February 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

The month of February begins with Venus and Mercury moving direct, helpful for communications and healing. The Sun and Saturn are exactly conjunct in Capricorn this month, amplifying the need for self-discipline, maturity, and authentic expression. Kala Sarpa yoga occurs off and on this month, and demands high ethics and neutrality in our world in order for us to evolve. Mars and Venus conjunction brings the desire for passion and creativity in our lives and in our work.  Mars exalted in Capricorn tests our inner courage and strength.

Venus just ended its retrograde phase on January 29, 2022, having been retrograde since December 19, 2021. During the Venus retrograde period, we were doing deep inner healing around our personal relationships and values. Now with Venus direct, we may have more clarity to act on what truly matters in our lives with an open heart. We connect and honor those we love with great compassion and gratitude.

Mercury goes direct the evening of February 3, 2022 MST, having been retrograde since January 14, 2022. As Mercury slowly moves forward, delays or frustrations we experienced when Mercury was retrograde now start to dissolve. With Mercury direct on February 3, we feel more confident to resolve any miscommunications or disagreements that occurred during the retrograde phase.

Saturn is especially close to the Sun at the beginning of February, with the exact conjunct occurring at 21 degrees Capricorn on February 4, 2022. This means that Saturn is combust the Sun, indicating the integrity of Saturn is compromised. We may experience issues with impatience, self-discipline, and finding our truth. Power struggles can arise as our desire for individual self-expression increases. We are prompted to listen to our soul’s yearnings. We may also see this on a global/political level as well, in our quest for equality and balance in our world. Saturn transits tend to give us a reality check, with the ultimate purpose of guiding us to express more authenticity, maturity, and committed purpose in our lives.

Kala Sarpa yoga occurs from January 27 to February 9, 2022, and again from February 23 to March 8, 2022. Kala Sarpa yoga occurs when all the planets are sandwiched between the nodes of the Moon, Rahu and Ketu. This yoga is sometimes called “the snake of time” and requires us to respond to life with the highest of ethics and morals, or we suffer. We feel the effect on a psychological level, bringing some dissatisfaction and increased sensitivity. Sometimes we experience less free will and the ability to move forward with this combination. Sudden or unexpected events that are out of our control can occur during Kala Sarpa yoga periods. However, the benefits of this yoga can be positive and growth-producing on a spiritual level if we respond to life with kindness, respect, and humility. Be present with no resistance and open to new possibilities.

Mars and Venus are conjunct in Sagittarius most of February indicating strong passions and creative energies this month. We can feel more vital and enlivened. Then on February 27 and 28, Mars and Venus move to the earth sign of Capricorn, where they are conjunct exactly at 0 to 1 degree of Capricorn. Be aware that when Mars and Venus are conjunct, we may experience greater impatience especially if one’s needs are not met. Frustrations or heated discussions with others can manifest, so be mindful.

On February 26, 2022 Mars, planet of courage, independence, and self-assertion, moves to its exalted sign of Capricorn until April 7, 2022. This is a powerful transit for action-oriented Mars. With Mars in Capricorn, we experience warrior energy that can be invincible, quick-acting, and very efficient. On the shadow side, Mars in Capricorn can be quite relentless, frustrated, overbearing, and militaristic. Use the positive energies of Mars and become more self-disciplined and focused. Improve your stamina with physical activities like yoga, and be an advocate for life-affirming projects or organizations.

Pleiadian-Earth Energy Report for 13 Days Beginning January 27, 2022: Moving Earth Energy

By Pia Orleane

Today at sunset we once again enter Moving Earth Energy. This is a period of extremes- highs and lows, according to whether we react or respond to quickly changing circumstances– a restless period full of movement in all directions! Several days into this energetic Moving period, on February 1, the Chinese New Year begins in the Year of the Tiger. The Year of the Tiger is known to create about BIG CHANGES. We have to be conscious and aware, using our responsibility as co-creators to assure that whatever changes occur are constructive and of higher frequency. The Year of the Tiger showers us with the ambition to make that happen!

We are still experiencing Mercury in Retrograde, challenging us to communicate clearly and respond positively in every situation. But that will change on February 4th. In alignment with this period of Pleiadian-Earth Energy of Moving Energy (lows and highs and sudden movement), according to Western astrology, all planets will be in forward motion between February 3 – 26th. On February 4th specifically, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and the Sun are all in a positive relationship, bringing us the confidence to do whatever is required.

The Maya considered Moving Energy to be a primal force in the universe. In keeping with the idea of BIG CHANGES and quick movement, we may encounter little deaths and rebirths in Moving Energy, as we experience all the lows and highs that are present in this thirteen-day period. The best use of Moving Energy during Mercury Retrograde is to bring a new vision into things we have already begun, seeking clarity and communication. After Mercury Retrograde, be prepared to deal with whatever shows up in a new way.

With kindness, compassion, and love,

Pia
