15 Signs You’ve Experienced Altered States of Consciousness

“Altered states of consciousness” sounds like something from a cheesy 80’s sci-fi movie or a trip down the rabbit hole of Alice in Wonderland.

But each and every day you and I enter into altered states of consciousness.

Whenever you get transfixed by a screen (aka. your phone or the TV) and dream at night, you enter into an altered state of consciousness.

However, at some point in life, most of us have a bizarre – or even frightening – experience that we can’t quite explain.

Sometimes, these strange experiences are actually blissful and ecstatic. And other times, these odd undergoing are a mixture of both joy and pain.

Have you ever gone through something that blew your mind and temporarily shattered your reality, but you’ve never really understood why it happened or what it meant?

What you’ve likely experienced was, in the words of mythologist Joseph Campbell, a “Call to Adventure” or call to walk your one and true life path and find the meaning of life.

What is an Altered State of Consciousness?

Altered states of consciousness (ASC), also known as a non-ordinary state of being, occur when we temporarily access a state of mind that isn’t usually available to us. Altered states can be either deliberately stimulated or may occur randomly and without warning.

Types of Altered States of Consciousness

There are a number of different types of altered states of consciousness out there. Some examples include:

  • Drug-induced hallucinogenic or psychedelic states
  • Hypnotic states
  • Meditative states
  • Out-of-body experiences (OBE)
  • Alien abductions
  • Shamanic trances
  • Yogic states (e.g., Siddhis)
  • Lucid dreaming
  • Psychosis (mental illness)
  • Mystical experiences

Causes of Altered States of Consciousness

An encounter with unfathomable beauty, terminal illness, or any extreme of human experience might induce a sudden shift in consciousness, a sacred knowledge. But perhaps more commonly, states of non-ordinary perception are first entered with practice— meditation, prayer, chant, trance dance—or perhaps with a sacramental entheogen such as peyote, psilocybin mushrooms, or ayahuasca. — Joanna Macy

Altered states of consciousness can be produced by:

  • Trauma (mental, emotional, physical)
  • Sensory deprivation (e.g., float tanks)
  • Impaired sleep
  • Fasting
  • Breathwork (e.g., holotropic)
  • Prayer
  • Astral projection
  • Entheogenic drugs (e.g., LSD, Mescaline, Ayahuasca, etc.)
  • Near-death experiences
  • Hypnosis and trance states
  • Deep states of meditation
  • Ego death
  • Kundalini awakening
  • Shamanic or spiritual healing

This list isn’t exhaustive, but these causes may give you an idea of what triggered your own altered state of consciousness.

15 Signs You’ve Had an Altered State of Consciousness

As defined by psychologist and shamanic teacher Christa Mackinnon, there are a number of different signs that you’ve experienced an altered state of consciousness.

How many of these signs can you relate to?

  1. Time distortion (time slows down or speeds up)
  2. Altered sense of body (you may feel disconnected from your body or hyper-tuned into different parts of it)
  3. Increased focus or narrowed perception (you are hyper-aware of some part of your reality or experience)
  4. Visionary experiences (symbols and imagery, often of an archetypal nature, come to mind)
  5. Reduced internal dialogue (i.e., the ‘monkey mind’ or inner narrator turns off)
  6. Amnesia or hypermnesia (that is, memory loss, or conversely, detailed recollection and remembering of past events)
  7. Suggestibility (an increase in being open to suggestions)
  8. Catalepsy (muscle stiffness and fixed posture)
  9. Age regression or progression (accessing past self or creation of future self)
  10. Analgesia or anesthesia (reduced feeling in body, i.e., numbness)
  11. Intense relaxation or activation (i.e., feeling extremely calm or extremely afraid)
  12. Dissociation (feeling disconnected from one’s thoughts, feelings, and sense of self)

Other signs that I’m adding to this list include:

  1. Ability to access deeper insight (epiphanies, revelations)
  2. Access to flow states (i.e.,” being in the zone,” intense attunement to the present moment)
  3. Big picture perspective (i.e., ability to make new connections and see from a “bird’s eye view”)

Do you need to have experienced all of these signs to have undergone an altered state of consciousness experience? No. Some of these signs may apply to you, and some won’t. That’s normal and okay.

This list is also not exhaustive, so keep that in mind.

Why Do We Experience Altered States?

Now that you have an expanded understanding of altered states of consciousness, you might be wondering “WHY?”

Why go through such an experience? What’s the purpose? What’s the point?

There are various explanations out there ranging from depressing to mediocre to cosmically “wow!”

For instance, many traditionally-trained psychologists and psychiatrists would assign many types of altered states of consciousness to merely being a form of pathology – a mental illness.

Others explain altered states as neurological misfirings of synapses or chemical imbalances in the brain.

And still, others believe that altered states of consciousness are always and only ever signs that you’ve “entered alternate universes,” “upgraded your DNA,” “cleansed your etheric energy field,” and other such new age explanations.

My stance is that there’s no black or white explanation. Yes, some altered states may be due to trauma and mental illness, and others may be neurological impairments. Perhaps it is possible to communicate with aliens or enter alternate universes.

But overall, it’s my conviction that altered states of consciousness are meaningful and often pivotal points in a person’s life. They possess deep value and are ripe with insight and the possibility for personal transformation. Often, such non-ordinary states set in motion a necessary existential crisis.

In this way, I believe that many altered states are “calls to adventure” to take a closer look at our lives, work through our inner wounds, and reconnect with our souls.

At the core of altered states of consciousness is a move to be more Soul-centered.

Altered States of Consciousness as a Path of Soul Initiation

Most altered states of consciousness throughout history can be found in a religious or spiritual context.

Whether it is the trance-inducing Sufi dancing, the chanting of Hindus, the deep prayer of Christians, the meditative practices of Buddhists, or the sacramental ingestion of entheogens like peyote in Native American ceremonies, altered states have always been valued as sacred.

There are three main reasons why altered states of consciousness have been seen throughout the centuries as sacred:

  1. They shift us out of the small and narrow ego-self into the big and expansive Core Self.
  2. They enable us access to deep self-understanding and consequent self-transformation.
  3. They empower us to spiritually evolve.

In the words of depth psychologist Bill Plotkin,

… a conversation with the soul is not likely within the defended confines of ordinary consciousness. The conscious self must look at its own psyche from a different perspective, from a unique angle, from a position of altered awareness, like viewing the earth from outer space, or returning home after a month in an exotic culture. Most soul-encounter practices induce liminal states of temporary ego dissolution that release us from the usual rules and norms of our personality and culture, opening the way to fresh observations and creative adventures.

Altered states gift us with the ability to temporarily exit the straightjacket of the constricted and conditioned self and access a higher (or deeper) vantage point.

We all have an animating spark of life, a core essence, an authentic Self – and for those of us who are lost and don’t know how to find that inner Center anymore, altered states are the pathway to illumination.

In fact, I’d go so far as to say, in many cases, that the Soul drives us toward or even triggers altered states of consciousness to beckon us “back home” via soul searching – back to our true path.

Why Are Altered States Sometimes Terrifying?

If altered states are so positive and are signs of spiritual awakening, why are they sometimes horrific – even terrifying?

My answer is that altered states are sometimes frightening because they can bring us face-to-face with our mortality, biggest wounds, and greatest fears.

Sometimes altered states are the product of, or produce themselves, trauma. A PTSD veteran, for instance, may enter an altered state whenever they hear a gunshot on TV. A schizophrenic person may enter a period of psychosis, which is an altered state.

Some altered states, it seems, are the result of a traumatized self (or ego) trying to piece itself back together.

Another reason why altered states may be terrifying – this time in those who are otherwise mentally sound – is that the ego doesn’t feel prepared to access higher realms of consciousness (as can be seen amongst those who have blissful mystical Oneness experiences and the like).

If you’ve ever observed (or been one of those) people who have taken an entheogenic drug, you’ll notice that one’s mental state is everything.

Those who are in a state of fear, mistrust, and resistance to life often end up having “bad trips.” Whereas those who let go, trust, and allow the ego-self to subside, end up having joyous and euphoric experiences.

In essence, one’s mental state is everything when it comes to altered states of consciousness.

How Do I Make the Most of My Altered State Experience?

Going into an altered state is nothing weird. You do it all the time. The question is whether you use the altered state to produce change, and if so, how are you going to use it?

– Richard Bandler

We go into altered states of consciousness every day, but there are some altered states that can’t be ignored. They must be integrated – or transferred into your life in a meaningful way. Without integration, such profound experiences will miss out on unveiling their innate, precious, and rare powers.

Here are some simple ways you can make the most of your altered state of consciousness experience:

  1. Journal about it. Ask yourself the following questions: “What was the experience like and what may have triggered it?” “What part of the experience stood out the most to me?” “What might the deeper meaning of this experience be?”
  2. Draw it. Drawing engages the right hemisphere of your brain and engages a more subconscious, creative, and emotion-centered form of wisdom. Draw the experience (and don’t think too much about it!). You may choose to create a scene-by-scene image or one single image that summarizes the whole experience. Reflect on it afterward. What words, images, or realizations come to mind?
  3. Find a practical application. Having a non-ordinary state of consciousness is all fine and dandy. But the true value in that experience is how it translates into your daily life and lived experience. In other words, what practical changes can you make? How can you use your experience to help others, achieve your dreams, or walk a path that feels true to you? Be pragmatic and ground your experience in reality.

Altered states of consciousness can feel cosmic, horrific, eerie, otherworldly, hyper-real, or peaceful depending on your state of mind and ego receptivity.

But regardless of what triggered them, such intense experiences are powerful forms of Soul initiation – they can be seen as invitations from your deeper Self to awaken and evolve.

When approached consciously, altered states can be used to reorient you to your true calling in life. They can break you out of the fog of lethargy, self-centredness, narrow-mindedness, and sleep-walking that the ego-self is prone to falling into.

As sage and psychoanalyst Carl Jung commented about altered states, “the sacred makes claims on you.” In other words, altered states of consciousness are often experienced without us choosing them.

And sure, while being thrown into the stratosphere of non-ordinary consciousness may be totally scary and confusing, it also plays the role of humbling us – it helps us to see that Life is so much larger than us. Existence is so Mysterious. And consequently, a sense of sacredness can re-enter our domesticated lives.

We can reconnect with our Souls.

Thoughts on Tom Campbell and the Mandela Effect

2021-11-03 Cynthia

This past month I was fortunate to be able to talk with physicist Tom Campbell during a special live broadcast of International Mandela Effect Conference (IMEC) Open Tables.  Tom reviewed ten examples of the Mandela Effect, and remembered things differently for five of them.  Toward the end of our conversation, Tom discussed four factors that he considers to be involved in the Mandela Effect phenomena. Tom said, “I thought about it a little, because I knew that’s what you guys were about, and I found four different things that contribute to it. So I don’t think it’s just one thing, I think there are several things that lead us to this.”

You can view this part of our mini-conference with Tom Campbell in its entirety in Tom Campbell’s Big TOE, Virtual Reality, and the Mandela Effect, or starting at about time marker 1:19  to start at this part of the conversation.

IMECtomcampbell(1) Observers have Individual Subjective Realities

The first thing Tom mentioned is that reality is only in the mind of the observer.  Tom states:

“Well, every observer has his own reality because it’s his interpretation of the data that he gets.  So for one there is not a reality ‘back then’ that existed, there is no ‘master reality,’ that exists.  It only exists in the minds of the players, and the players all have a somewhat different reality, because they interpret the data they get.  So there isn’t a reality that is kind of the right answer to what it was.  So that’s one thing.  So just looking from a perspective of consciousness, there is no ‘the reality that was.’  It doesn’t exist–never has existed.  It’s a bunch of individual realities.  And now we can look at it and see what we in general, most of us you know, saw or heard.  So there’s that idea that there is no right answer to what it was; we all have our own reality.”

I love how Tom starts contemplating the Mandela Effect with this notion of Subjective Reality (in contrast to Objective Reality), since this is a view of the quantum paradigm that I feel is at the heart and core of both quantum physics and reality itself.  Physicist George Weissmann and I wrote about this in our paper, The Quantum Paradigm and Challenging the Objectivity Assumption. The really BIG idea here that is paradigm-shifting in the extreme is that quantum physics shows us quite clearly that there may be no such thing as objectivity, or ‘one true reality.’

(2) Pattern Matching in Consciousness

This next factor that Tom Campbell considers as involved in people experiencing the Mandela Effect has to do with the way consciousness operates with attributes of perception, and how we perceive and remember, with pattern matching.  Tom elaborates:

“We perceive things and remember things in our memory.  This is just kind of the fundamentals of the way consciousness works, we work with pattern matching.  That’s kind of the fundamental way we do things.  We work on pattern matching, and what happens is we’ll get a new image, we’ll go into our data bank to find a pattern that fits it.  Now if we can find an exact fit, oh great, we’ll put that out.  But if we can’t find an exact fit, we’ll pull out anything that even fits a little bit.  If it fits sort of well, we’ll pull that out, and that what it’ll be.”

Tom then shares his experience with people frequently calling his wife a similar, yet incorrect name, that starts with the same letters.  Tom’s wife’s name is Pamela, yet frequently when they go out and meet people, even after she’s introduced herself as Pamela, a few minutes later, someone will say, “Oh, Patricia.”  So Tom is pointing out that we might be fooling ourselves with some examples of what we think are Mandela Effects, that actually have more to do with the fallibility of our minds and memories.

In the more than 20 years of research I’ve been conducting in this field of the Mandela Effect and reality shifts, I’ve been careful to winnow out cases in which this kind of mental error occurs.  I’ve also referenced this past year the work of Tony Jinks and his book, Disappearing Object Phenomenon: An Investigation, since he made a comparison of experiencers of personal Mandela Effects (or DOP, or reality shifts), and found no statistically significant differences in mental functioning and processes of experiencers versus non-experiencers.

While I’ve witnessed cases of what Tom calls pattern-matching, and what researchers like Elizabeth Loftus refer to as false memories, I have been careful to include first-hand reality shift reports in the hundreds of pages in the Your Stories section of the realityshifters website where experiencers are certain they are not simply mis-remembering.  Elizabeth Loftus was surprised to learn that she was ‘mis-remembering’ some things when she appeared on the Mandela Monthly show with Moneybags73 and the Ripon Rabbit in July 2020.

(3) Collective Consciousness

The third factor that Tom Campbell considers as involved in people experiencing the Mandela Effect has to do with the way collective consciousness operates with attributes of perception, where we are part of a group or community.

“Another thing we should think about that’s in this thing too is there’s a thing called collective consciousness.  Collective consciousness is any group of people who have a connection who feel they have a connection together.  They basically form a collective consciousness.  So you have have a collective consciousness where you work with all the people you work with, there’s a collective consciousness that goes with that.  Or if you do child care, there’s a collective consciousness that goes with that.  You have a collective consciousness with your nation; you have one with humanity.  You know, Carl Jung called these archetypes. They’re basically collective consciousness pieces that you identify with and you connect.  Well, the collective consciousness is just the vector sum of all the consciousness that are in the membership that are in the group.  So you get stuff out of that collective consciousness, and you take it on.  So you know you become more like that.  Now you affect the whole, but you only affect the whole a little bit, because you’re one person and there’s maybe 10,000 in your collective, so you don’t affect the whole that much, but the whole affects you more.  So you work for IBM and after you’ve been there 4 or 5 years, guess what?  You start wearing blue shirts, you start dressing like they do, you start talking like they do, you start having the same interests that they do, because it’s part of the collective consciousness.”

This is really interesting, since it helps to clarify how sometimes we might see someone start to remember something as a Mandela Effect, and then within a few minutes we might witness them “take the download” or succumb to the “Mr. Smith Effect” where suddenly they say that actually, it seems to them that what they remember is whatever matches the current historical records.  Sometimes, we might even notice the influence of the collective consciousness groups we belong to if we start remembering something more than one way.  It can feel like we remember both, yet know that’s impossible, since we must have only had one previous timeline of choices and events.

(4) Paranormal Likes to Open Our Minds

This fourth factor involves the way the Cosmos engages with us in order to get our attention and open our mind to new and expanded possibilities.  Tom incorporates the idea of the fundamental consciousness, or Larger Consciousness System (LCS) here:

“Sometimes the LCS can change things up on us just to get our attention and open our mind.  It likes to do that.  For instance, crop circles.  You know you have crop circles and overnight, one night… totally dark, maybe a few lights running around, no sound.  And the next morning, you’ve got 34 acres covered with a very complex design that isn’t just straight lines.  It’s all kinds of curves and things that would probably take a surveying crew of 20 people like three weeks to lay it out with their transoms if they were trying to do it.  So the system does things like that just as a wake up calls: ‘Hey! Think out of the box!  Reality is not just this little thing you think it is. Open your mind.’  You know there’s more going on here than you’re aware of.  Well again we jump to conclusions and make up the first thing comes to our mind, ‘Oh, aliens did it–you know, the aliens must be doing those things.’  Well, not necessarily.  You know the Larger Consciousness System triggers lots of people with paranormal experiences, just to open their minds.  I got triggered to open my mind with an ability to debug software.  I know a lady who a week after her mother died, she got a phone call from her mother–the phone rang, she picks up the phone and it’s Mom, telling her that ‘I’m okay. I just wanted to let you know everything’s fine,’ and of course she was freaked out, so she took the phone and slammed it down onto the receiver, because she thought somebody was messing with her, and what a cruel joke it was.  And then she realized that wasn’t the case at all–she just hung up on her mother who was trying to get in touch with her.  So people have these kinds of things.  The system goes out of its way to help us see bigger pictures, because only when we see bigger pictures do we start becoming seekers and start learning and growing.  So the system does that all over, so part of the Mandela Effect that was my fourth one is that the system often plays these sorts of games just to rattle us a little bit–to get us to open our mind, and think out of the box, instead of just being stuck in this little materialist groove.  And it just does that to individuals and it does that like in crop circles to whole populations and it does other things as well.  So a lot of the extraterrestrial things that people see you know, with spaceships landing in their yard and chatting with aliens and so on–all the system has to do to create that is put that data in their data stream.  That’s it.  And then it’s there, it’s real.  They interpret it, and it wakes them up and after that, they’re different people.  They start researching.  They start wanting to understand things.  So that’s part of the Mandela Effect.”

This concept of getting our attention is something I discuss in my book, Reality Shifts: When Consciousness Changes the Physical World, and it is thoroughly covered in the book Contact Modalities: The Keys to the Universe by Grant Cameron and Desta Barnabe.  Clearly, one of the biggest messages I’ve gotten when asking the Cosmos, “Why do these things such as reality shifts happen?” is the simple two word answer:  “Be Cause.”  This is a time of  Great Awakening, where we can step into our larger consciousness ‘shoes’ with some truly wonderful reality shifting and quantum jumping capabilities.

WATCH: The Key to Everything | Regan Keely

Source: Transforming the Darkness

Watch this awesome video with the amazing Regan Keely in which she shares the key to everything.

Below are some notes from Regan’s brilliant presentation:

Regan announces that she will be hosting a Mass Meditation for Unity on 11/11 at 1 pm Eastern.

Sovereignty is rising in the world – but it’s just the beginning.

Mass meditations have a strong ripple effect.

We need to remember that we are not separate.

The key to everything is coming back to presence – unconditional presence in the self.

Conditional presence is: I’ll be present when I have this, or when I feel happy, or when I get this job, or when I have so much money, etc. It’s an insidious trap that keeps you from being present.

Being present unconditionally, honing in on unconditional love, is our greatest power. Presence is acknowledging that you already are everything, you already are infinite, you already have everything within you.

It’s about coming back to who we really are and not being so sucked into the physical world, which is currently reflecting back to where we are not present.

We are in this world, but we are not of it.

Presence is how you access your greatest potential.

The physical world is Maya – it’s a dream.

Remember we are not separate from source/all that is/Creator/God. We’ve believed the lie that we are separate.

When you align with God, it’s literally everything that you could ever want or need: unconditional love, creativity, power – everything. That’s what it feels like.

We are never separate from source. When you remember this and are present with this, you can reall feel that it’s everything you need.

Everything else is an illusion. The physical world is not the point. The point is about your connection with and co-creation with God.
We forgot that we are not separate from God. Everything that you could possibly dream of, your highest love, you are not separate from that.

There’s so much fear around death, and there really need not be, because we are mostly not physical. We are literally almost entirely invisible. It’s not about the physical body, it’s about the energy/consciousness/love within.

It’s like we have a split personality – the ego and the higher self.

When it comes to consciousness, the ego is like a toddler – yet it’s necessary for survival. And, it’s been mostly in charge.

You can have conversations with your ego telling it that you don’t need to be the driver anymore because my higher self is back in charge.

What the awakening is about is coming back to God, coming back to complete faith.

Be present as deep as you can in each now moment.

The ego never feels entirely safe. It’s constricted. But, the higher self wants us to experience flow again.

Trust that you are right where you need to be and that everything is right on schedule. The more you lean into that, the more things will work out for you. You don’t worry about the physical anymore.

There are similarities between what happened in Atlantis and what we are experiencing now, because of our disconnection from source.

Know that we are creator beings, but don’t create from Ego, from the illusion of separation.

Living in a state of surrender and trust is very freeing. Don’t try to force things to happen. Live in a state of flow.

Be present with your breath, your thoughts, your feelings, whatever is happening around you.

The key to your life is NOT outside of you, it’s all within.

When you realize that you have everything you need within you and that you are not separate from God/source, it will bless you energetically, and in turn, physically.

The physical world is a reflection of our internal world.

When you lose your physical vessel, you don’t end.

You are almost entirely invisible, and you are eternal.

Those who have left this plane physically are still with you.

We are all one with God and can never be separate. The more we remember this oneness, this inevitable, infinite, innate connection to God, we have everything we need. What would there be to be afraid of? Anchor into that.

Our infinite abundance, joy, love, harmony, wealth, health, freedom, sovereignty and liberation are all within.

The external world is an amazing mirror to show us when we are not being present.

The more you can bring what you desire into your presence, the more it will show up in your physical world.

Contemplating the Ordinary | Eckhart Tolle Teachings

How To Self-Overcome Like Friedrich Nietzsche

By Gary Z McGee | Waking Times

“Here the ways of men divide. If you wish to strive for peace of soul and happiness, then believe; if you wish to be a disciple of truth, then search.” ~Nietzsche

In German Überwindung means self-mastery, or self-overcoming. Überwinden means to overcome. Mensch means man or human. So ‘Self-overcoming Human’ seems to be the most accurate translation of Übermensch.

Nietzsche used the Overman as a personification of potential genius, demonstrating that Truth moves, and moving, demolishes thrones and altars. If it’s not moving, then it becomes stale. Thrones become entrenched. Alters become golden idols. The truth that doesn’t move, and keeps moving, soon becomes a fallacy. It dissolves into delusion. It grows uncouth.

Thus, self-overcoming is the life task of man. If we never discover this life task, we limit ourselves to merely existing. We become stuck. We comfortably and contentedly believe rather than adaptively and proactively seek. We would rather comfortably bow to thrones and revere altars than uncomfortably discover new ways of being human in the world. We would rather have faith than have the fortitude, and often we confuse the two.

The most powerful way to prevent this merely existing—this stuck-ness, this comfortable annihilation, this confusion of faith and fortitude—is to practice the art of self-overcoming. When we self-overcome, we are forcing Truth to move. We don’t allow it to grind to a halt and become a millstone. We don’t allow it to rule over us. Instead, we use it as merely a stepping stone into higher and higher truth. We transform it into a Philosopher’s Stone.

As Nietzsche said, “And Life confided the secret to me: behold, it said, I am that which must always overcome itself.”

And so, foremost, the art of self-overcoming is the ability to continue the search despite the urge to give it up to a particular belief. It’s the ability to cease merely arriving and to focus instead on courageously thriving. It’s the ability to overcome. Let’s break it down…

‘Belief’ is an existential hang-up:

“Faith: not wanting to know what is true.” ~Nietzsche

Belief in any ideology is a spiritual camouflage pattern based upon fear. Belief is almost always fear conditioning. The statist ‘believes’ in nationalism out of fear of being ostracized. The religious zealot ‘believes’ in their particular religion out of fear of the afterlife. As Krishnamurti said, “Any activity or education that conditions the mind through nationalism, through identification with a group, an ideology, a dogma, is an impediment to the truth.”

The same applies to almost every level of belief, and the more blind the belief the more fear tends to be the driving force. But fear-based reasoning can be extremely unhealthy, and even dangerous. As Nietzsche said, “Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies.”

When it comes to self-development, belief tends to be the fear of growth, the fear of being wrong, the fear of stretching one’s comfort zone, the fear of the unknown. The list goes on. Perhaps the greatest fear is the fear that one’s worldview could be wrong. This fear is so powerful that it creates a kind of blind spot in our reasoning. It’s called cognitive dissonance, and we all suffer from it.

When it comes to navigating through cultural, political, and spiritual change—and all change, really—there is a level of cognitive dissonance that comes into play that amps the difficulty to near impossible proportions. The cart of cultural pressure is set so firmly in front of the horse of our reasoning powers that it seems unpassable. Our ability to progressively evolve becomes blocked by the comfort and security infrastructures we have erected. So what can we do?

We can choose self-interrogation over belief. We can choose discomfort despite the security. We can choose the question mark over the period. We can choose to have a flexible notion rather than a rigid opinion. We can choose to be adaptive and transformative rather than stuck in our ways. We can become game-changers. We change the way the game is played by taking responsibility for change itself, by getting comfortable with the uncomfortable truth, by moderating our comfort and security with courage and flexibility. Most of all, we become game-changers by admitting that we could be wrong.

If it’s true that, as Daniel Dennett said, “There’s no polite way to suggest to someone that they have devoted their life to a folly,” then it stands to reason that we simply get out of our own way in the first place so that we are not so devastated when we discover our folly.

If we rigidly and dogmatically cling to a particular “basket,” (rigid belief) then we would probably be crushed under the heavy blow that our worldview has suddenly become invalid (or maybe our cognitive dissonance will have been so strong that it keeps us mired in ignorance).

But if we cultivate an open-minded, flexible, and humorous disposition regarding our “answers” then there would never have been any basket worthy enough to hold all our “eggs” in the first place, and so we would not be so devastated. We would be more likely to simply shrug our shoulders, have a good laugh at ourselves (self-deprecating humor is a staple for self-overcoming), and then move on with our new knowledge in tow. Indeed. We would be more likely to embrace the wise words of Aristotle, “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”

‘The search’ is an existential jumpstart:

“What is great in man is that he is a bridge and not a goal. What can be loved in man is that he is an overture.” ~Nietzsche

The key to keeping the search alive, then, is to keep belief at bay. All belief. Whether it’s the abstract belief in God or the concrete belief that we exist. All belief must be taken into consideration rather than believed so as to prevent falling victim to the blind spot and tripping into dogmatic thinking, which is the opposite of thinking clearly.

So, the secret to keeping the search alive is discovering the joy and transcendence of uncertainty. Where certainty bottles us up, constricts our perception, and puts up walls around our comfort zone; uncertainty shatters the bottle, unknots our thoughts, and demolishes all the walls preventing us from further expansion into Truth. Indeed. There is a virtue in uncertainty that the certain will never know.

It’s a matter of attitude. A bad attitude falls into the trap of right and wrong, of good and evil, whereas a good attitude goes beyond. It transcends. A bad attitude plays the victim; a good attitude plays with victimhood. A good attitude transforms tragedy into a teacher, pain into a professor, labor into a laboratory.

This, the self-overcoming philosopher knows: The lodestone must become a whetstone before it can become a Philosopher’s Stone.

Transforming Life into a whetstone gives us something to sharpen the sword of our self. This is the essence of self-overcoming. Where yesterday our sword was dull, having not experienced honing, today, after the honing, it is sharper. Self-overcoming is allowing the possibility of our own personal sharpening. Without honing there can be no sharpness. Self-overcoming is taking the sword of ourselves and honing it against the whetstone of hardship. It’s the ability to use the hardships of life, the setbacks, the slings and arrows, the ups and downs, to make ourselves stronger, resilient, more robust, and even antifragile despite the fragile culture.

Self-overcoming is honoring the grit, the coal, and the dullness within us, and, through such honoring, recognizing the vital importance that polishing, pressure, and honing have in transforming us into pearls, diamonds, and sharpness. It’s the deep understanding that in order to experience growth there must be a rub, friction, testing. There must be a crucible. Self-overcoming is allowing life to be a crucible for transformation, rather than a comfort zone of stagnation.

When we are in the throes of self-overcoming, the search is always on. We are continuously searching for truth. We may discover “answers” here and there—ideas, knowledge, wisdom, love—but these “answers” do not hinder our overall truth quest, they only strengthen it, they only compel it, propel it, launch it above and beyond the need for an answer. For we understand that the truth quest—allowing the journey to be the thing, forever questioning, never settling on a belief—is the answer.

Nietzsche was able to tap the depths of the human condition like no other philosopher before or after. He was able to do this because he practiced self-overcoming. His philosophy was a hammer that shattered the very concept of belief itself. It crashed through all values. It even launched us into a revaluation of all values. It taught us how it is possible to recondition our cultural conditioning. It taught us how the self can also be a hammer, and how, through the hammer of the self, new, healthier values can be created despite the rigid, inflexible, and entrenched dogmas that trip us up as a species and prevent us from evolving in a healthier way.

How WE Can Use LOVE to Dramatically and Quickly Improve Conditions on Our Planet

Dr. Amit Goswami, Ph.D.

“Love is the answer and you know that for sure.” ~ John Lennon

Want to know how we can dramatically change our world for the better –  quickly and easily? If so, then watch the video below. It’s an interview with Dr. Amit Goswami, who is the author of many books that bridge science and spirituality including “How Quantum Activism Can Save Civilization: A Few People Can Change Human Evolution.  (For an overview of Quantum Activism, read this important article: “Become a Quantum Activist.”)

In the video below, Dr. Goswami provides a solution to permanently rewire the brain circuits of the collective for LOVE. Pay particular attention to the last ten minutes of the video titled Dr Amit Goswami ‘Consciousness, Quantum Physics and Being Human’, starting at the 50:15 minute mark (also, see the transcript below the video).

50:15 Iain McNay: How do you put this together – you’ve got this book “Quantum Activism Can Save Civilization” – how does this come together on a practical basis?

50:30 Dr. Goswami: This is, of course, I feel is the most important thing today for ALL thinking people, ALL feeling people, ALL people who want to integrate their lives – like I did – have to face up to… The faulty ideas of scientific materialism – that consciousness does not exist except as brain phenomenon and that matter is everything – what those ideas have done is to undermine those values that are the purpose of evolution, which is what makes living worthwhile.

51:05 Dr. Goswami: Consciousness gives us values. If you denigrate consciousness, then our values will automatically be denigrated. Does the brain have values?  Material scientists have tried to bring values back in through evolution.  But, they cannot do it because matter cannot process meaning, let alone values.  These things are subjects of scientific proof today.  We should give up on scientific materialism if we want to save civilization. Unfortunately, scientific materialism is very entrenched today. You have to realize that.

51:45 Dr. Goswami: But then, you have to recognize the power of activism.

52:00 Iain McNay:  How is quantum activism a way forward when it seems, from our media anyway, that the way forward is a long way away – if there is one.

52:25 Dr. Goswami: This is what people need know. It [a way forward] does seem remote today.  But, there are two answers.  First of all, it seemed remote when two scientists, Descartes and Francis Bacon, were struggling against the power of the church.  It seemed very remote then, didn’t it?  So, it means nothing that it seems very remote. Several decades ago, it seemed remote that communism could ever break down in Russia.

53:00 Dr. Goswami: So, how the movement of consciousness works is actually by jolt – by surprises.  This is what the nature of creativity is.  So, that’s one answer…. It will be creative; it will be a revolution. It will be some kind of nudge. Big changes come abruptly, suddenly – even social changes.

53:20 Dr. Goswami: The other aspect, which should be very hopeful for everyone, is that it does not take very many people to do it.  Rupert Sheldrake first had this intuition.  He published several books in the 80s where he put forth the idea that only a few people are needed to change the collective, because changes that we make in our brain involves what Sheldrake calls morphogenetic fields.  These fields are responsible in some way – I call them blueprints of biological forms.

54:00 Dr. Goswami: So, when we change the brain and make a positive emotional brain circuit of love (for example), the morphogenetic field …, which is the blueprint of that brain, becomes associated with love and will therefore it will become a loving morphogenetic field.  It is a changed morphogenetic field.

54:15 Dr. Goswami: That change, I was able to show, Mark Mitchell and I, that change in the morphogenetic field is NOT stored in the brain, but is stored nonlocally. Quantum memory is nonlocal memory – outside of space and time – everywhere and nowhere. Since it is nonlocal memory, anyone on Earth, irrespective of time and space, can access it.

54:45 Dr. Goswami: The vision is that if enough of us become conscious that we need to change, which we are capable of (we are capable of the creative experience; we are capable of turning our creativity inward to create brain circuits of love), and we do it in communities and do it in groups in such a way that nonlocality will be facilitated [in that the morphogenetic field becomes conditioned with love].  These nonlocal fields are then available in the future and are used automatically, without effort, by everyone.  So, we develop people to have brain circuits of love, which will propagate into the future through nonlocal means.

The nonlocal morphogenetic love fields will then cause the collective to permanently develop brain circuits conditioned for love.

Up From the Shadows and Into Your Power – Why Kings Kill Your Children

By Dylan Charles | Waking Times

I’ve been doing a great deal of personal work lately. It seems to be the best approach to beating back the insanity in this world, and no matter how many times I think I’ve gotten a handle on life, something comes up to remind me how much more growth I have yet to do.

My aim is to become fearless, strong, emotionally resilient, and exceptionally powerful, so that I may more courageously face the many present concerns and dangers which threaten our stability and security. And think about it… never before have the freedoms and liberties of so many people been under attack. We need our strength now more than ever, and I intend to be part of the solution.

This has led me to shadow work, which I would describe as the process of examining your unconscious behaviors and drivers in search of the areas in which you’re not living in your full power. It’s about understanding the primary archetypes which provide the blueprints for all humans, and asking whether or not you’re living into the healthiest expression of these archetypes. If you’re not, then you’re living into their shadows, the places where darkness and negativity lurk.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” ~C. G. Jung

The key life process archetypes are the King/Queen, Warrior, Wise Man/Woman or Magician, and Lover. Each of these archetypes contains the potential for a mature or an immature expression of the energy they embody. For example, the immature expression of the King archetype is the child tyrant or weakling.

Shadow work is also about the distinction between child psychology and adult psychology, and when you examine the general quality of individuals in our world today, it’s easy to see that we are living in a world of grown children. It’s startling even. There are few paths for initiation into adulthood, and our culture loves to encourage us to live into our immature shadows. Furthermore, the powers-that-be know full well that a population of grown children who fear death and who fear their power are easy to exploit and control.

In the classic and excellent book King, Warrior, Magician, Lover by Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette, the authors ask what happens to a society if the ritual processes by which these identities are formed become discredited, as they have been.

“In the case of men, there are many who either had no initiation into manhood or who had pseudo-initiations that failed to evoke the needed transition into adulthood. We get the dominance of Boy psychology. Boy psychology is everywhere around us, and its marks are easy to see. Among them are abusive and violent acting-out behaviors against others, both men and women; passivity and weakness, the inability to act effectively and creatively in one’s own life and to engender life and creativity in others (both men and women); and, often, an oscillation between the two – abuse/weakness, abuse/weakness.” ~Moore & Gillette, King, Warrior, Magician, Lover

Without individuals who understand and intentionally operate from their highest selves, there is little hope of overcoming the force being projected onto us. We will crumble, falter and quit. We will lose.

Should we rise up, however, and seek expansion into our fully awakened, mature, archetypal power, the control system would collapse in on itself, and the world would again have the chance of experiencing freedom and unregulated prosperity. This is our only hope. For this, I feel that a sincere endeavor into shadow work and its archetypes is absolutely critical for all who wish to participate in the coming uprising.

For this, I think the following presentation by Paul Chek offers exceptional clarity and insight into these processes and how to realign your life with the highest manifestations of these energies. It’s titled, ‘Why Kings Kill Your Children.’

Here’s a comment I recently received from Paul, which I feel succinctly describes our current situation in relation to personal development. When I read this I am reminded of the fact that personal growth is a responsibility that all of us carry, whether we choose to engage or not.

“If we have not healed our survival archetype imbalances (victim, saboteur, prostitute, or (eternal) child), then we are likely to meet the repressed contents/judgments/painful incidents that led us into the lessons of these key archetypes so that we can be aware of  what is limiting our potential. Once we clear these perceptual distortions and imbalances within ourselves, then our vision expands because the “blinders are off.”

Jung makes a very profound statement in this regard when he states: “The Unconscious always meets you from the OUTSIDE until you meet it on the INSIDE.”

This is EXACTLY what is happening on a global level now.

We are meeting all the repressed fear, judgments, and the products of our programming (Kings and sorcerers) on a global level; the beauty of this is that now we can all SEE IT if we are mature and wise enough to “look.”

It is only through engaging the beliefs that lead to the choices that resulted in the situation we are in (world domination by a very few with negative, selfish, Huberistic intentions, and almost zero consciousness of the earth as a living being) that we can each own our part of the collective Dark Night of the Soul.” ~Paul Chek

Harness Your Full Quantum Potential Using the Four Principles of the Quantum Paradigm | Dr. Theresa Bullard

Source: Gregg Braden Official

Watch this brilliant presentation by Dr. Theresa Bullard in which describes the four principles of the quantum paradigm that govern all quantum phenomena and how you can apply them to your life.

The principles of the quantum Paradigm are: Complementary, Contextual, Conscious, and Connected. Dr. Bullard explains these principles and how they differ from the Newtonian principles that have governed our world and have led to a world out of balance: determinism, separatism, reductionism, and materialism.

The quantum principles are reflected in the Hermetic principles, as documented in the Kybalion, which being proven out by new scientific discoveries – reaffirming that consciousness is an essential part of all that is.

Primary Blocks to Your Intuitive Skills

By Tina Zion, Author of Be Your Own Medical Intuitive

Excerpted from Be Your Own Medical Intuitive: Healing Your Body and Soul. Copyright © 2021 by Tina M. Zion. All rights reserved. Published by WriteLife Publishing (an Imprint of Boutique of Quality Books Publishing Company).

The blocks that I am discussing here are the primary ones that come up in all of my workshops and my private mentoring sessions. So, these are the most common struggles that I hear from people all over the world. These issues get in the way of people who yearn to do medical intuition but who struggle, in some manner, to get where they want to be. These are the primary blockages that prevent you from becoming an exceptional healer for your own life.

Your Worries or Outright Fears

Seeing Non-Physical Beings – I am here to tell you that deceased people are everywhere. They are at your work, in the yard, in your car, in your house, and at the stores where you shop. They are already everywhere because they are a natural part of life. We are living and breathing in the non-physical world, and it is constantly all around us and within us. You are a spirit right now, and there are spirits everywhere coming and going because they are just as alive as you are. You are a spirit among spirits. So allow yourself to perceive them. You already know they are there, don’t you?

Being Overwhelmed – A common question is, “What if the spirit world takes over my life?” You will notice more as you allow yourself to notice. But the most fascinating thing is that spirits will do exactly what you tell them to do. They will do what you ask because they are real people. For example, if you asked your friend to leave the room for fifteen minutes, they might think it is strange, but they would politely leave the room. It is exactly the same if you are dealing with a dead person. They will do what you say so you must take care to say exactly what you really want them to do.

Life Might Change – Your life will change because you will be living at a more aware and more understanding life than ever before. You will understand what lies underneath other people’s struggles because you have a more profound understanding of what makes you tick, and you will look out of your own eyes at the world in completely different ways.

Failure to Become Intuitive – What happens if you think you have failed? Well, there really is no failure. Becoming more intuitive is about noticing the very subtle signal from the Universe. It is all about noticing or not noticing. Life is about a choice between learning and then improving based on what we’ve learned, or stopping and not moving forward. Every split second in our lives is a choice.

Being Wrong – If you are wrong in some way, then immediately examine how you think you are wrong. What steps did you take or not take? Learn to notice in a different way.

Making It All Up – This is one of my favorite struggles to hear from someone because it is so vitally important to every single medical intuitive. Hear this now: It will never stop feeling like you made it up, imagined it, or dreamed it up. It will never stop feeling that way. Intuition is real, but it will always feel like your imagination because it is information from the non-physical realms. It is not going to be solid like we are accustomed to perceiving in the physical realm that we live in.

Am I Worthy to Receive Intuitive Insights?

I was so surprised when I first heard this particular worry and concern. It had never occurred to me that someone would question if they were good enough. Intuition is truly only information. Granted, it is information from the non-physical life around you, but it is still only information. Do not think of it as something else.

You are also frequently receiving information from spirit guides, angels, and even archangels. You might become aware of Jesus, Muhammad, or Buddha, or any other revered entity. Hear this: If they come to you, then it was their decision and not yours. That in itself tells you how worthy you are. You are in control. It is imperative that you allow yourself to receive the intuition.

The Spirit World Might Dominate Me

Now, this is a legitimate thought but does not need to be a worry or a fear. They are often confused, demanding, unaware, still feeling sick, and yes, even dead people can be afraid. Later on in this book, I will discuss the neediness of many, many deceased people. The good news is . . . they will do what you direct them to do. If you realize that you are in charge of a situation with a spirit person, there is nothing to be afraid or worried about. They are not more powerful than you are. They are really just another human in the room. If they come to you, it is because they need or want something.

Loving Intuitive Wisdom or the Spirit World So Much that You May Want to Leave the Physical World

Being an intuitive and a medical intuitive is much more than interacting with dead people. The more you allow yourself to notice the non-physical world, the more you will love it. You will love it because you, as a human, are non-physical and physical at the exact same time. It brings the depth of balance that most people have been searching for throughout their lives. You will not want to leave your current life, but you will realize how alive people are even after their death. The more you receive intuition into your daily life, you will realize a richness that you have never experienced before. If life is like your cake, intuition is the luscious icing on your cake. You will feel more alive than you have ever been before.

What if Family or Friends Find Out I am Intuitive?

I have noticed over many years that families are often alarmed at first when they find out you have been doing healings for yourself. People tend to judge and criticize the things they know the least about. If you do decide to share this part of your life with them then it is the exact time for you to become the teacher. Give them little bits of information at a time. I have seen this time and time again. When family and friends realize your accuracy and your healing abilities, they begin to sense the wonderment of it all, and then they hold respect for you.

I Have Already Experienced Strange Things and I Do Not Want That to Happen Again

People frequently tell me that they have already had spiritual experiences that either terribly frightened them or they terribly frightened their family members. They go on to explain that they have seen inside of themselves and found something dark, or they have known about events which then actually happened in real life. They might know when someone is pregnant before the woman even knows. These are just a few examples.

My response is this: “If you do not want to be aware of those things, then what has brought you to me or to this book? Working with me will absolutely heighten your abilities.” And with a surprised look on their face they often say, “Oh, I guess you are right. I guess I really want to understand what I am getting and not be afraid of these psychic things when they happen.” Then I respond, “Great, that is exactly what will happen as we work together!”

What if I Am Not Normal Anymore?

Living with one foot in the physical world and one foot in the non-physical world at the exact same time is the truest balance of all. You will be differently awake, knowledgeable, and mindful. You will be more powerfully aware, and this will be your new normal. Once you allow yourself to tap into the intelligence of the cosmos, you will not be the same again. You will be more.

They Offer Us Darkness – That We May Shine Brighter

By Linda George | Waking Times

“Brothers of the black force who can hear me, I say this without irony and with neither malice nor design. You do not work for what is called evil. Absolute love shouts its existence into even the smallest atom of life, whereas hatred denies even itself and thus cannot be embodied. What is hatred? It can only be the love of what is opposite to the Father. It bears the face of love I tell you, which is simply hidden beneath a mask. It begins with pure love for itself, without which it could have no force of cohesion.

Thus my brothers of the dark force who can bear my words, the particles composing your bodies are held together only by the force of love, inside and outside of you, without which they would instantly be thrown beyond the confines of the universe into a dance without end. Love is the only reason for everything and the only force of cohesion. Its creation goes on forever.

…..Without knowing it, our ‘black brothers’ furbish for us the weapons with which we detect our own weaknesses. They offer us the darkness so that we may make the light shine all the brighter.” – Anne & Daniel Meurois-Givaudan, The Way of the Essenes: Christ’s Hidden Life Remembered

Jesus, according to the authors of the book from which the passage above was taken, belonged to the mystical society of the Essene Brotherhood. He spent part of his life in Egypt where he was initiated into ancient mystical techniques for spiritual advancement and his teachings in Palestine was based on these mystical and metaphysical traditions. The ‘channeled account’ (believe it, or not) is replete with gems of extraordinary insight, deep wisdom, and compassion, issuing from the Master himself.

And don’t we need that about now?

What, my friends, is going on? Here we are, 19 months! into the madness, chaos, and confusion of an undeniable transition to somewhere beyond the bounds of our wildest imaginings and we are more mired in lies and insanity than ever. This is clearly a transition of megalithic proportions……up there with the fall of the Roman Empire and the sinking of Atlantis. WTF! There is a very dark force in our midst – and it is showing its hand. More than its hand. Its whole hideous, monstrous body and deeply sinister, deathly plan for humanity has been thrust to the surface. We can no longer pretend the evil monster who has been living in the shadows, controlling the most powerful, psychopathic world leaders, is not real. It has been revealed, finally. There is no going back. But did we sign up for this!?

Apparently, we did.

For many of us who smelt the rat of impending doom from that fateful third week in March 2020, the last year and a half have felt like a bad dream. We’ve lurched from states of panic and anxiety to numbness and disbelief. The feeling of wanting to press rewind, to go home and forget all about this drama we are caught in reminds me of another transition – four actually, that I did come out the other side of – that of the births of my children. It is so bloody painful and awful at the ‘transition’ stage, you just want to opt-out. I want to opt-out of this BS. I bet you know the feeling.

But here we are and unless we have whatever it must take to depart from the earth plane, we have no choice but to continue on. It helps in childbirth to have a deeply supportive midwife – one who keeps you going holds your hand and tells you where you are and how much longer there is to go.

You have, I’m sure, found your support people and trusted sources, your birth/death Doolas. How vital these support people are right now, as we negotiate the traumatic passage of the transition. And you will have heard the message – there is no getting around this: things are going to get worse. Bloody terrific. Those of us who have chosen the path of medical independence and freedom are going to be more and more marginalized from society. But the good news is ‘they’ (see black force above) are done for! YES! Their skulduggerous plan is coming apart and as more and more people ‘refuse to go along with it’ (in the face of the staggering evidence they are seeing) the tipping point is on the horizon. The future, our midwives and death Doolas are telling us, is positive. The Kali Yuga is in its death throes.

We don’t have a precise timeline for the birth of our bright future – these things being apt to change in accord with our collective ‘awakening’ – but we have a lifeline. If we can just, somehow, get through the hard stuff ahead – then we must believe that we will come out the other side.

There is so much going on right now and we are being impacted on all levels of our being. No wonder we are feeling physically and emotionally wrought. We have the non-stop stream of the ‘official’ media propaganda with its ridiculous plandemic narrative coming at us 24/7. We turn off the TV and radio in an attempt to shut out the presstitutes but cannot avoid the billboards and the masked zombies. What vibration deflation it all is! We want to be informed of what’s really happening so check in with our favorite truth channels – hoping to hear the 100th monkey is close. Surely, surely, we are nearly there…..

Our Doolas are doing their best to help us, by sharing their findings on the legal, medical, and spiritual fronts. These are juxtaposed by an endless stream of scary tales indicating the power structures are tightening their grip. Our circle of existence continues to shrink as our heretofore taken-for-granted basic freedoms – the right to work and earn a living, the joyful celebrations of life we share with our loved ones, travel, holidays, and even the air we breathe! are being taken away from us. But on the other side of that equation, the circles of our soul tribes are widening. We are finding brothers and sisters who see the truth as we do and we are forming bonds that will strengthen us all in this birthing process.

That’s right – we are in the transition.

“Look at all the physical worlds into which you are born as a function of your karma and according to what you need in order to evolve. The Nameless One’s finger is slowly approaching these worlds and in the form of a fantastic cloud of energies he will penetrate them. You cannot feel it yet, but within two thousand years all of your planets and stars will be transformed by his intervention. He will make them vibrate at a higher pitch, which will cause their etherization.” ~Jesus

We’ve been hearing the frequencies of the Sun, carried by solar winds, are increasing. All the planets in our solar system are being affected. Could this be the ‘etherization’ Jesus supposedly talked about two thousand years ago? And what might be the consequences of the Sun ‘vibrating at a higher pitch’?

Given all that is happening out there, when we experience physical symptoms, headaches, exhaustion, nausea, sleeplessness, we assume it is the effect of the stress of this fucked up situation. But perhaps, the physical and emotional conditions many of us are experiencing are about the increasing solar activity; the ‘Nameless One’s finger’ etherizing our corner of the cosmos.

I’ve read that this incoming energy impacts everything on the planet and sensitive people are noticing sleep disturbances and a host of other symptoms. The solar storms (carried by the winds) desynchronize our circadian rhythms. They affect our nervous systems – hence the increased levels of anxiety and fear many of us are noticing (ha! As if the daily ‘news’ wasn’t enough). The solar activity is affecting our Earth’s resonance (known as the Schumann resonance) – our planet’s heartbeat and this affects our own heartbeat. Have you noticed your heart feeling funny? I have. Every aspect of our physical and subtle bodies is being affected. Every cell is registering this shift of the ages.

Other ‘symptoms’ of the increased cosmic activity are rising to the surface of old, unprocessed emotions (tick), and wanting to connect, to forgive, or to ask forgiveness of people from our past. These old wounds are coming up to be healed and all, we are told, is in aid of the push we are collectively being given to moving to a higher frequency. In the process, everything is in a state of turbulence – much like that which occurs during a healing crisis. Or a birth. The intent, many believe, is to take us from our current slower vibrating density to a higher vibratory state. It is the journey of the evolution of our consciousness. We know that higher emotions such as gratitude, compassion, and love vibrate at a higher frequency than the lower ones – fear, jealousy, guilt. We have been living in a very low vibratory place on this planet for eons – thanks to the ‘slave self’ – or ego-mind – that was imposed on our species by the dark ones.

So many pieces of an age-old puzzle are coming together now. The solar winds are blowing in to usher us forward on our journey – from deception and oppression to truth and freedom. Whilst there may be an element of the ‘savior complex’ here, (and yes, we’ve been told time and time again that ‘no one is coming to save us’) – quite honestly, given the massive imbalance of power on our planet (they have been LONG planning and scheming for this) some outside assistance very much looks like our best chance. The 100th monkey may, and I fervently hope will happen…. But when I look around at the level of apathy and fear (the mind control has worked so well) in the general population, I’m not so sure. Given that, I’m going with the finger of the Nameless One and her Solar winds.

Jesus said the dark force is giving us the weapons with which we detect our own weaknesses.

Can we come to an awareness that our dark brothers are ultimately helping us to heal ourselves – of the wounds we inherited and fostered and passed forward; wounds arising from our egoic, slave selves over thousands of years.? We know that in order to heal, psychic wounds must come to the surface, to consciousness. Jesus also said we must bring forth what is within us. If we do not, what is within will destroy us. Could it be that all of this is just that? Collective healing of our species’ long history of woundedness?

We are being compelled to bring all our ancestral pain into the light of consciousness. Our history on this planet is a long litany of lies and deceit, of unspeakable evil and suffering, of abuse and oppression on a monumental scale by the powerful over the powerless. It encompasses the destruction of the feminine energy and of nature – the wisdom holders of Gaia/Sophia – the consciousness of our planet Earth. For whatever reason, we are part of the collective body of humanity, whose shadow manifested such evil. Though that in itself is debatable and there is good evidence to support the theory that these psychopaths – these ‘dark brothers’ – are not human. They are not human as we know humans to be. They are the archons. Whatever they are, it is now part of our karma to witness the healing crisis of a system SO dark there really was no other way. It all had to erupt.

We are seeing the explosion into awareness of long-hidden evil. The skies have darkened in our times and we are running from the fire, noxious fumes, and the devastation. Many, the majority, are running into the arms of the dark brothers themselves, in the tragic belief that these powerful ones will continue to protect and save them – as the suffering redeemer did at the dawn of the story. They will come to realize, if not in this life then in the next, the fantasy of that belief. It is a truly Plutonic time we are in. Birth and death, annihilation, transformation – lead eventually to healing and integration. Out of the pain and dark comes new life. THIS is where we are. The story is not over yet. We are only partway through – the transition remember. The hardest part.

Love is the cohesive force of the universe. Let us then breathe in love and breathe out love (through unimpeded nostrils) and know that we are One. Let us refuse to comply with this tyranny. Compliance NEVER brought freedom. If we would preserve our most fundamental freedoms we MUST refuse. Compliance equates to disconnection and we know now how pivotal it is that we connect and form a cohesive resistance to the evil that is unraveling our world. The disconnection the dark brothers have engineered and are daily implementing is not only trying to separate us from our fellow humans, but its intent is to disconnect us from the Source (God, the larger consciousness system, Tao, the Nameless One). Cohesion is the force of love – the force keeping everything from spinning out into the empty nothingness of space.

How vital it is then that we form cohesive groups with our fellow humans, our soul tribes, and resist. Ultimately truth and love will prevail. It’s time now for us all to hold that thought and intent uppermost. The finger of the Nameless One is sending us frequencies of love on the solar winds – the frequencies that will dismantle this bullshit. But if we would not go down with the system (that is going down) we must refuse to feed the system – with our fear and our compliance; we must ride those winds and surf the waves of the new world being birthed. Birth is painful but we can do it! Keep it uppermost in mind and Heart as our new world is being born: “They offer us the darkness so that we may make the light shine all the brighter.”
Bless you, all, and be the Light.

Transcending Fear with 5 Keys.. Liberate Yourself in Any Given Situation

Fear is what so frequently holds people back on the spiritual path. Fear of what might happen if you take a certain step. Fear of completely letting go and where that might lead. Fear of hurting others by being truly authentic. Fear invades the mind, emotions, and body. But to simply ‘over-write it’ with positive intentions or infusing ‘love and light’ can lead only to more layers of identity. The liberated flow of the soul is not something to intention or create by a veneer of gloss. It just is, and it simply arises when we open the space for it. When the soul invites authentic choice, fear can often also arise. So how do you deal with it most effectively?…

Fear only ever comes up, because it is ALREADY within

Firstly, it’s important to say that you cannot ‘spread fear’ by raising the topic of something fearful – like fear of death for example. In a fully self-realized being, there is no fear, because there is always the realization of the One Self, which lives on through eternity. So fear can only activate where it already lies.

In other words, fear only ever comes up because it is already within. People carry it, often subconsciously. And while it exists, it’s always going to be limiting, even if the tendency is to temporarily white-wash over it with some positive gloss.

In the Openhand Approach, the only truly effective and lasting way to overcome fear (to dissolve it), is by the direct confrontation of it; to get into it, and deeply explore it.

Evolutionary growth through learning and expression

In spiritual circles and mainstream motivation groups, it’s so often the case to “imagine the best possible outcome of any given situation”. Then to work to create that. But whose creating? Who is imagining the “best possible outcome?” To me, it can only be an ego wanting a particular result.

In the Openhand perspective on the soul, there is only evolutionary growth through learning and expression. When the soul encounters a crossroads in life, with one direction marked ‘hell’ and the other ‘heaven’, the choice is made not based on what the most beautiful or desirable outcome might be; it is based on what can most be learned. And if that’s in some temporary kind of ‘hell’, then so be it. When the soul confronts some kind of situation, which causes it to contract in tightness, there represents a golden opportunity to deal with unrealized limitations.

In so doing, when the realization through the challenge happens, it always comes with the most incredible expansion. As you shake off that which previously held you back, then your soul soars like an eagle. There’s an immense joy that you reclaimed a lost aspect of Self.

How do you achieve this most effectively next time you encounter fear?

Bringing fear to the surface: imagine the Worst Possible Outcome

To me, I witness that fear mostly arises because, in some way, we’ve unconsciously distanced ourselves from the worst possible outcome of a given situation. Because it’s apparently too difficult to deal with, even to contemplate, the tendency is to sweep it under the rug. This has a very limiting internal effect – it creates polarity. In other words, it creates a small “I” identity, which is living in suppressed fear of that possibility and can now be victimized by it; in which case you are not being The One, which can be completely okay in ALL situations. People live their lives and shape whole realities based on such avoidance – like leaving an unfulfilling relationship for example or ending a job that doesn’t serve.

Fear represents a golden opportunity, but only if we’re prepared to turn right into it, at the time it is arising, and work deeply through it. And the most effective way I’ve found of doing that, is to contemplate the worst possible outcome from any given situation. So you literally imagine what could likely happen if you take the step your soul is guiding you into.

Opening Through Fear with 5 Keys

Here’s how to effectively deal with your fear and open the doorway through it with 5 keys…

1). Locate your internal tightness: When you contemplate the worst possible outcome, then all your subconscious fear and constriction come up. What you’re really looking for is the internal tightness – maybe it’s in your head, your solar plexus or sacrum? Feel it, work into it, and above all, express it out into the world. This might be crying, screaming, shouting, or vigorous movement.

2). Become as-one with the pain: Now what’s happening, is you’re actually becoming as-one with the pain, with the fear. If you keep working with it, then there comes a point where you tire of it, where you’ve had enough of it, where you realise the baggage itself that you’re carrying around, is far worse than the worst possible outcome. And you might aswell let it go. Thus, you’re empowering yourself by becoming The One in it.

3). Be prepared to completely fall apart: You must be prepared to completely fall apart. It’s like you’ve been controlling who you are, hanging onto who you should be – to what is expected of you. If you’re to truly penetrate through this, it will often feel like falling apart. And here’s the paradox of a liberated soul – that’s entirely okay!

4). Become The One: As you fall apart in it, as you really let go, then feel deeply through it into the sense of emptiness – into The Void. It feels like you’re touching the pure presence of complete acceptance. You’re now opening into infinite potential – the Source, from which authentic soul arises.

5). Unleash the freedom of the Soul: Finally, and here’s the great part, look for the natural expression of joy, expansiveness and rightness of the soul that wants to come through. Dance with it; sing and shout with it; give it wings by expressing it out into the world.

Transcending Fear: A practical example…

I recall giving a presentation to a crowded hall in Glastonbury several years ago. I tend not to plan such presentations other than the production of some slides and maybe the odd video or two. I always knew, that in coming from the source, all I needed was a thread – just a word or a feeling – from which to begin.

This particular time I began with a video and as it drew to a close, I was watching for the first words to drop into mind, a place to begin, a thread to pick up. Usually they came but this time nothing – nothing at all. As the credits to the film rolled, still nothing. As the silence and expectation of the audience grew louder in my awareness still nothing. As I stood up, still nothing. All the while I was watching my inner feelings, any arising tightness – and softening into them. Yes I was feeling nervous, realising a subconscious subtle desire for the people to appreciate me and my point of view. As that penny dropped, why would I limit myself by needing some kind of appreciation or outcome? What was wrong with how I was being? Even if nothing came? Even if I stood there in complete silence?

Time seemed to stretch right into eternity. Without need of outcome at all, any sense of fear, doubt and disbelief disappeared. I was infinitely vulnerable, and it felt completely blissful. So blissful that it felt humorous. And so I felt to begin by cracking a joke about the Pope, who just happened to be visiting the UK at the time. After the slightly uneasy silence, the audience fell about laughing and the presentation then flowed effortlessly.

Increasingly empowered, joyful, and harmonious

I’m not saying it’s necessarily easy to approach your fears in this way. There will always be a myriad of opt-outs – comfortable other solutions that placate the fear rather than dealing with it. There’ll be lots of distractions and plenty of people advising how to make the best of the situation. But if you have the courage to turn into your fears in this way, you will explode the myth that they are.

Because you are The One, which has created everything by which to know itself, and therefore ultimately, fears nothing.

So work to become the One within your fears, and they will surely burst like an exploding balloon. And your soul will expand out with empowered and joyful liberation. And what’s more, you won’t have to keep manifesting those fearful situations. By working through your fears, your life becomes increasingly empowered, joyful and harmonious. I wish you an empowered journey!

Mob Morality and the Unvaxxed | Charles Eisenstein

By Charles Eisenstein | Waking Times

“Propaganda must facilitate the displacement of aggression by specifying the targets for hatred.” ~Joseph Goebbels

We would like to think that modern societies like ours have outgrown barbaric customs like human sacrifice. Sure, we still engage in scapegoating and figuratively sacrifice people on the altar of public opinion, but we don’t actually kill people in hopes of placating the gods and restoring order. Or do we?

Some scholars believe we do. Following the thought of the late philosopher Rene Girard, they argue that human sacrifice is still with us today in the form of capital punishment (and incarceration – a removal from society). Girard believed that human sacrifice arose in response to what he called a “sacrificial crisis.” The original sacrificial crisis – the greatest threat to early societies – was escalating cycles of violence and retribution. The solution was to redirect the vengeance away from each other and, in violent unanimity, toward a scapegoat or class of scapegoats. Once established, this pattern was memorialized in myth and ritual, applied preemptively as human sacrifice, and carried out in response to any other crisis that threatened society.

In this view, capital punishment originated in human sacrifice and it is human sacrifice. It performs the same function: to forestall reciprocal violence through unanimous violence. It does so by monopolizing vengeance, truncating the cycle of retaliatory violence at the first iteration. This works whether the subject of execution or incarceration is guilty of a crime or not. Justice is a cover story for something more primal. Theologian Brian K. Smith writes,

The subject of a modern execution might also be carrying multivalent significations. Among other things (i.e., racial and economic metonymic potentialities), such a figure might serve as the representative of all crime, of “disorder” and social “chaos,” of the “breakdown of values,” etc. Apart from any utilitarian deterrent effect capital punishment might have, it is one, rather drastic, response to a social problem – illegal and illicit violence.

In other words, what we rationalize in the language of justice and deterrence is actually a blood ritual, in which a person, whether guilty or not, becomes a symbol. Ritual springs up irrepressibly around executions: the last meal, the “dead man walking” to the special execution chamber, the witnesses, the medical procedures, the presiding physician, the signed papers, the last rites, the covering of the head, the precise timetable, the final words, and the exacting attention to detail all mark off the execution as separate, special… sacred.

Something Must be Done

In a lucidly argued paper, legal scholar Roberta Harding offers several examples from the deep South during Jim Crow where judge, jury, and prosecutor well knew that the accused black man was innocent of the charge of raping a white woman. However, because the white supremacist social order was threatened by consensual interracial intercourse, they executed the accused anyway; if they failed to do so promptly he was lynched. Partly this was to set an example and terrify the black population, but partly it was because something had to be done.

By the same token, it mattered little that Afghan villagers or Iraqi politicians had no culpability for 9/11; nor did it matter that bombing them would have no practical effect on future terrorism (except to further inflame it). Obviously, the United States was using 9/11 as a pretext to accomplish larger geopolitical aims. Yet it worked as a pretext only because of broad public agreement that “something must be done.” And, enacting the age-old pattern, we knew what to do: find some target of unifying violence that cannot effectively retaliate. I was dismayed in 2001 when, at Quaker Meeting of all places, one of the Quakers said, “Of course, a forceful response of some kind is necessary.” What, I wondered, does “forceful” mean? It means bombing someone. In other words, we must find someone upon whom to visit violence. He may also have mentioned addressing the imperialist causes of terrorism, but those were not the subject of “of course.” Nearly everyone instinctively took for granted the necessity of finding sacrificial victims. We were definitely going to bomb someone – the only question was whom.

The 9/11 attack exemplifies what Harding calls a triggering incident, which “resuscitates dissensions, rivalries, jealousies and quarrels within the community,” leading to a sacrificial crisis. A recent such incident was the murder of George Floyd. The latent conflicts it exposed have been festering for so long that it takes little provocation for them to erupt into an active crisis. The response to Floyd’s murder is a classic illustration of the calming power of violent unanimity, as Derrick Chauvin’s conviction and sentencing temporarily quelled the racialized civil unrest that the killing sparked. Something was done – but only to quell the unrest, not to solve the complex, heavily ramified problem of police killings. It no more addressed the source of America’s race problems than killing Osama Bin Laden made America safe from terrorism.

Not just any victim will do as an object of human sacrifice. Victims must be, as Harding puts it, “in, but not of, the society.” That is why, during the Black Death, mobs roamed about murdering Jews for “poisoning the wells.” The entire Jewish population of Basel was burned alive, a scene repeated throughout Western Europe. Yet this was not mainly the result of preexisting virulent hatred of Jews waiting for an excuse to erupt; it was that victims were needed to release social tension, and hatred, an instrument of that release, coalesced opportunistically on the Jews. They qualified as victims because of their in-but-not-of status.

“Combatting hatred” is combatting a symptom.

Scapegoats needn’t be guilty, but they must be marginal, outcasts, heretics, taboo-breakers, or infidels of one kind or another. If they are too alien, they will be unsuitable as transfer objects of in-group aggression. Neither can they be full members of society, lest cycles of vengeance ensue. If they are not already marginal, they must be made so. It was ritually important that Derrick Chauvin be cast as a racist and white supremacist; then his removal from society could serve symbolically as the removal of racism itself.

Just to be clear here, I am not saying Derrick Chauvin’s conviction for George Floyd’s murder was unjust. I am saying that justice was not the only thing carried out.

Representatives of Pollution

Aside from criminals, who today serves as the representative of Smith’s “disorder,” “social chaos,” and “breakdown of values” that seem to be overtaking the world? For most of my life, external enemies and a story-of-the-nation served to unify society: communism and the Soviet Union, Islamic terrorism, the mission to the moon, and the mythology of progress. Today the Soviet Union is long dead, terrorism has ceased to terrify, the moon is boring, and the mythology of progress is in terminal decline. Civil strife burns ever hotter, without the broad consensus necessary to transform it into unifying violence. For the right, it is Antifa, Black Lives Matter protesters, critical race theory academics, and undocumented immigrants that represent social chaos and the breakdown of values. For the left, it is the Proud Boys, right-wing militias, white supremacists, QAnon, the Capitol rioters, and the burgeoning new category of “domestic extremists.” And finally, defying left-right categorization is a promising new scapegoat class, the heretics of our time: the anti-vaxxers. As a readily identifiable subpopulation, they are ideal candidates for scapegoating.

It matters little whether any of these pose a real threat to society. As with the subjects of criminal justice, their guilt is irrelevant to the project of restoring order through blood sacrifice (or expulsion from the community by incarceration or, in more tepid but possibly prefigurative form, through “canceling”). All that is necessary is that the dehumanized class arouse the blind indignation and rage necessary to incite a paroxysm of unifying violence. More relevant to current times, this primal mob energy can be harnessed toward fascistic political ends. Totalitarians right and left invoke it directly when they speak of purges, ethnic cleansing, racial purity, and traitors in our midst.

Sacrificial subjects carry an association of pollution or contagion; their removal thus cleanses society. I know people in the alternative health field who are considered so unclean that if I so much as mention their names in a Tweet or Facebook post, the post may be deleted. Deletion is a certainty if I link to an article or interview with them. The public’s ready acceptance of such blatant censorship cannot be explained solely in terms of its believing the pretext of “controlling misinformation.” Unconsciously, the public recognizes and conforms to the age-old program of investing a pariah subclass with the symbology of pollution.

This program is well underway toward the Covid-unvaxxed, who are being portrayed as walking cesspools of germs who might contaminate the Sanctified Brethren (the vaccinated). My wife perused an acupuncture Facebook page today (which one would expect to be skeptical of mainstream medicine) where someone asked, “What is the word that comes to mind to describe unvaccinated people?” The responses were things like “filth,” “assholes,” and “death-eaters.” This is precisely the dehumanization necessary to prepare a class of people for cleansing.

The science behind this portrayal is dubious. Contrary to the association of the unvaccinated with public danger, some experts contend that it is the vaccinated that are more likely to drive mutant variants through selection pressure. Just as antibiotics result in higher mutation rates and adaptive evolution in bacteria, leading to antibiotic resistance, so may vaccines push viruses to mutate. (Hence the prospect of endless “boosters” against endless new variants.) This phenomenon has been studied for decades, as this article in my favorite math & science website, Quanta, describes. The mutated variants evade the vaccine-induced antibodies, in contrast to the robust immunity that, according to some scientists, those who have already been sick with Covid have to all variants (See this and this, more analysis here, compare to Dr. Fauci’s viewpoint.)

It is not my purpose here, however, to present a scientific case. My point is that those in the scientific and medical community who dissent from the demonization of the unvaxxed contend not only with opposing scientific views but with ancient, powerful psycho-social forces. They can debate the science all they want, but they are up against something much bigger. Rwandan scientists could just as well have debated the precepts of Hutu Power for all the good that would have done. Perhaps the Nazi example is more apposite here since the Nazis did invoke science in their extermination campaigns. Then as now, science was a cloak for something more primal. The hurricane of sacrificial violence easily swept aside the minority of German scientists who contested the science of eugenics, and it wasn’t because the dissidents were wrong.

We face a similar situation today. If the mainstream view on Covid vaccines is wrong, it will not be overthrown by science alone. The pro-vaccine camp has a powerful nonscientific ally in the collective id, expressed through various mechanisms of ostracism, shaming, and other social and economic pressure. It takes courage to defy a mob. Doctors and scientists who express anti-vaccine views risk losing funding, jobs, and licenses, just as ordinary citizens face censorship on social media. Even a non-polemic essay like this one will likely be censored, especially if I stain it with the pollution of the heretics by linking blacklisted websites or articles by the disinformation dozen anti-vaxxers. Here, let’s try it for fun. Greenmedinfo! Children’s Health DefenseMercola.com! Ah. That felt a little like shouting swear words in public. You’d better not follow these links, lest you be tainted by their pollution (and your browsing history mark you as an infidel).

To prepare someone for removal as the repository of all that is evil, it helps to heap upon them every imaginable calumny. Thus we hear in mainstream publications that anti-vaxxers not only are killing people, but are raging narcissistswhite supremacistsvile, spreaders of Russian disinformation, and tantamount to domestic terrorists. These accusations are amplified by cherry-picking a few examples, choosing hysterical-looking photos of anti-vaxxers, and showcasing their most dubious arguments. If the authorities follow the playbook developed to counter other domestic “threats,” we can also expect agents-provocateurs, entrapment schemes, government agents voicing violent positions to discredit the movement, and so forth – techniques developed in the infiltration of the civil rights, environmental, and anti-globalism movements.

Concerned friends have advised me to “distance myself” from members of the Disinformation Dozen whom I know as if they carry some kind of contagion. Well, in a sense they do – the contagion of disrepute. It reminds me of Soviet times when mere association with a dissident could land one in the Gulag with them. It also reminds me of my school days, when it was social suicide to be friendly with the weird kid, whose weirdness would rub off on oneself. In grade school, this contagion was known as “cooties.” (In my early teens I was the weird kid, and only very brave teenagers would be friendly to me while anyone was watching.) Clearly, the basic social dynamic pervades society at many levels. A deeply ingrained gut instinct recognizes the danger of membership in a pariah subclass. To defend the pariahs or to fail to show sufficient enthusiasm in attacking them marks one with suspicion; the result is self-censorship and discretion, contributing all the more to the illusion of unanimity.

Hijacking Morality

The same kind of positive reinforcement cycle is what generates a mob. All it takes is a few loud people to incite it by declaring someone or something a target. A portion of the crowd goes along enthusiastically. The rest keep silent and conform in outward behavior even as they are troubled within; to each, it looks like he or she is the only one who disagrees. Writ large to the totalitarian state, the support of a majority of the population is unnecessary. The appearance of support will suffice.

The mechanisms that generate the illusion of unanimity operate within science, medicine, and journalism as well as among the general public. Some conform enthusiastically to the orthodoxy; others complain in whispers to sympathetic colleagues. Those who voice dissent publicly become radioactive. The consequences of their apostasy (ex-communication from funding, ridicule in the media, shunned by colleagues who must “distance themselves,” etc.) serve to silence other potential dissidents, who prudently keep their views to themselves.

Notice that here I have not yet said what I personally think about vaccine safety, efficacy, or necessity (be patient); nonetheless, what I have said is enough for anyone to distance themselves from me to keep safe. If I’m not an anti-vaxxer myself, I certainly have their cooties.

Someone on an online forum that I co-host related an incident. His children had a play date scheduled at their friend’s house. A parent called him to ask if his family had been vaccinated. Politely, he said no, and his children were immediately disinvited.

While this parent doubtless believed he was being scientific in canceling the invitation, I doubt science was really the reason. Even the most Covid-orthodox person understands that the non-symptomatic children of non-symptomatic parents pose a negligible risk of infection; furthermore, since vaccine believers presumably trust that the vaccine provides protection, rationally speaking they have little to fear from the unvaccinated. The risk is vanishingly small, but the moral indignation is huge.

Many if not most people get the vaccine in an altruistic civic spirit, not because they personally fear getting Covid, but because they believe they are contributing to herd immunity and protecting others. By extension, those who refuse the vaccine are shirking their civic duty; hence the epithets “filth” and “assholes.” They become the identifiable representatives of social decay, ready for surgical removal from the body politic like cancer cells all conveniently located in the same tumor.

Social stability depends on people rewarding altruism and deterring antisocial behavior. These rewards and deterrents are encoded into morals and then into norms and taboos. Performing the rituals and avoiding the taboos of the tribe, and shaming and punishing those who do not, one rests serenely in the knowledge of being a good person. As an added benefit, one distinguishes oneself as part of the moral majority, a full member of society, and not part of the sacrificial minority. Our fear of nonconformity is born of ancient experiences so deeply ingrained it has become an instinct. It is hard to distinguish it from morality.

The fear operating in the ostracism of the unvaxxed is mostly not fear of disease, though the disease may be its proxy. The main fear, old as humanity, is of social contagion. It is fear of association with the outcasts, coded as moral indignation.

In any society, some people are especially zealous in enforcing group norms, values, rituals, and taboos. They may be controlling types, or they may simply care about the common good. They serve an important function when the norms and rituals are aligned with social and ecological health. But when corrupt forces hijack the norms through propaganda and the control of information, these good folks can become instruments of totalitarian control.

Those doing the scapegoating may honestly, even fervently, believe the narrative of “the unvaccinated endanger others.” Again, while I find the evidence to the contrary persuasive, I won’t try to build a case for it beyond the hints I’ve offered already. As the saying goes, you can’t reason someone out of a position they didn’t reason themselves into, to begin with. Furthermore, most of the citations I would use would come from blacklisted sources, which, owing to their heresy, are unacceptable to those who trust official sources of information. If you trust the official sources, why, then you trust their exclusion of the heretical information. When official sources exclude all dissent, then all dissent becomes a priori invalid to those who trust them.

Consequently, much of the dissent migrates to dodgy right-wing websites without the resources to check facts and scrutinize sources. One would think, for example, that a highly credentialed scientist like Dr. Peter McCullough, a professor of medicine, author of hundreds of peer-reviewed articles, and president of the Cardio-Renal Society of America, would be able to find a hearing outside the right-wing media ecosystem. But no. He’s been sidelined to places like the right-wing Catholic John-Henry Westen show. I wish I could find a link to this persuasive interview somewhere else, especially because there is actually nothing right-wing about McCullough’s views.

Tragically, the sites that host people like McCullough are quite often home to anti-immigrant and anti-LGBTQ articles that use the same tactics leveled at anti-vaxxers, tap into the same template of dehumanization and scapegoating, and lend themselves to the same fascistic ends.

Moving the Masses

For these reasons, I won’t try too hard to substantiate my belief that – and I may as well say it explicitly as a gesture of goodwill to the censors, who will thus have an easier time deciding what to do with this article – the Covid vaccines are much more dangerous, less effective, and less necessary than we are told. They also seem not as dangerous, at least in the short term, as some fear. People are not dropping dead in the streets or turning into zombies; most of my vaccinated friends seem to be just fine. So it is hard to know. The science on the issue is so clouded by financial incentives and systemic bias that it is impossible to rely on it to light away through the murk. The system of research and public health suppresses generic medicines and nutritional therapies that have been demonstrated to greatly reduce Covid symptoms and mortality, leaving vaccines as the only choice. It also fails to adequately investigate numerous plausible mechanisms for serious long-term harm. Of course, plausible does not mean certain: at this point, no one knows or indeed can know, what the long-term effects will be. My point, however, is not that the anti-vaxxers are right and being unjustly persecuted. It is that their persecution enacts a pattern that has little to do with whether they are right or wrong, innocent or guilty. The unreliability of the science underscores that point and suggests that we take a hard look at the deadly social impulses that the science cloaks.

To say that official sources exclude all dissent overstates the case. In fact, peer-reviewed publications and highly credentialed medical doctors and scientists concur with much of what I’ve said. Admittedly, they are in the minority. But if they were right, we would not easily know it. The mechanisms for controlling misinformation work equally well to control true information that contradicts official sources.

The foregoing analysis is not meant to invalidate other explanations for Covid conformity: the influence of Big Pharma on research, the media, and government; reigning medical paradigms that see health as a matter of winning a war on germs; a general social climate of fear, obsession with safety, the phobia and denial of death; and, perhaps most importantly, the long disempowerment of individuals to manage their own health.

Nor is the foregoing analysis incompatible with the theory that Covid and the vaccination agenda is a totalitarian conspiracy to surveil, track, inject, and control every human being on earth. There can be little doubt that some kind of totalitarian program is well underway, but I have long believed it an emergent phenomenon agglomerating synchronicities to fulfill the hidden myth and ideology of Separation and not a premeditated plot among human conspirators. Now I believe both are true; the latter is subsidiary to the former, its avatar, its symptom, its expression. While not the deepest explanation for humanity’s current travail, conspiracies and the secret machinations of power do operate, and I’ve come to accept that some things about our current historical moment are best explained in those terms.

Whether the totalitarian program is premeditated or opportunistic, deliberate or emergent, the question remains: How does a small elite move the great mass of humanity? They do it by aggravating and exploiting deep psycho-social patterns such as the Girardian. Fascists have always done that. We normally attribute pogroms and genocide to racist ideology, the classic example being antisemitic fascism. From the Girardian perspective, it is more the other way around. The ideology is secondary: a creation and a tool of impending violent unanimity. It creates its necessary conditions. The same might be said of slavery. It was not that Europeans thought Africans were inferior and so thus enslaved them. It was that thinking them inferior was required in order to enslave them.

On an individual level too, who among us has not operated from unconscious shadow motivations, creating elaborate enabling justifications and post facto rationalizations of actions that harm others?

Why is fascism so commonly associated with genocide, when as a political philosophy it is about unity, nationalism, and the merger of corporate and state power? It is because it needs a unifying force powerful enough to sweep aside all resistance. The us of fascism requires a them. The civic-minded moral majority participates willingly, assured that it is for the greater good. Something must be done. The doubters go along too, for their own safety. No wonder today’s authoritarian institutions know as if instinctively, to whip up hysteria toward the newly minted class of deplorable, the anti-vaxxers and unvaccinated.

Fascism taps into, exploits, and institutionalizes a deeper instinct. The practice of creating dehumanized classes of people and then murdering them is older than history. It emerges again and again under all political systems. Our own is not exempt. The campaign against the unvaccinated, garbed in the white lab coat of Science, mentioned with biased data, and waving the pennant of altruism, channels a brutal, ancient impulse.

Does that mean that the unvaccinated will be rounded up in concentration camps and their leaders ritually murdered? No, they will be segregated from society in other ways. More importantly, the energies invoked by the scapegoating, dehumanizing, pollution-associating campaign can be applied to gain public acceptance of coercive policies, particularly policies that fit the narrative of removing pollution. Currently, a vaccine passport is required to visit certain countries. Imagine needing one to go shopping, drive a car, or exit your home. It would be easily enforceable anywhere that has implemented the “internet of things,” in which everything from automobiles to door locks is under central control. The flimsiest pretext will suffice once the ancient template of the sacrificial victim, the repository of pollution, has been established.

Rene Girard was, from what I’ve read of his work, something of a fundamentalist. I do not agree with him that all desire beyond mere appetite is mimetic or that all ritual originates in sacrificial violence, powerful though these lenses are. By the same token, I don’t want to reduce our current acceleration toward techno-totalitarianism and a biosecurity state by just one psycho-social explanation, however deep. Yet it is important to recognize the Girardian pattern, so we know what we are dealing with so that we can creatively expand our resistance beyond the futile debate over the issues – and most importantly, so we can identify its operation within ourselves. Any movement that leverages contempt in its rhetoric fits the Girardian impulse. Elements of scapegoating such as dehumanization, rumor-mongering, stereotyping, punishment-as-justice, and mob mentality are alive within dissident communities as they are in the mainstream. Anywho ride those powers to victory will create a new tyranny no better than the previous.

There is another way and a better future. I will describe it in Part 4 of this essay although the reader already knows what it is, by feel if not in words. This future reaches into the present and the past to show itself any time that vengeance gives way to forgiveness, enmity to reconciliation, blame to compassion, judgment to understanding, punishment to justice, rivalry to synergy, and suspicion to laughter. Transcendence is in the human being.

Ervin Laszlo: ‘We Stand at the Cusp of an Evolutionary Leap in Consciousness’

Source: Gregg Braden Official

Ervin Laszlo says that we are at the cusp of an evolutionary process. We are at a moment in history where things either change or we become extinct. Plus, he talks about the laws that govern the universe, how everything an individual does affects the whole, and much more.

At the beginning of the Modern Age, it was thought that this solar system, what we now know as the solar system, is all that was – that’s the whole universe. And if we come from anywhere, we come from someplace inside the universe. Then by the time of the last century or the 19th century, we knew that the solar system is part of the galaxy. But then we saw that the galaxy is all there is. So we come from the galaxy. If we come from the universe, we come from the Galaxy. Then, it turned out that this is just one of millions, perhaps billions of galaxies.

So, our vision is expanding. Where we come from is something far bigger, far deeper than what we thought.

Where do the stars come from? If we come from the Stars, we come from this universe. But where does this universe come from? That is now the question that is being discussed more and more. This universe wasn’t there always. It came to be – it evolved.

The universe was born probably, according to the best guesses today, at the time of the Big Bang 80.3 billion years ago more or less. And this cosmic event gave birth to everything that we can now observe in the universe.  It gave birth to the observable universe. Therefore it gave birth also to the seeds – to the predecessors of living things. So if we came from anywhere, we came from the universe that was born in the big bang and of that chaos. Then it gradually distilled what we know as the universe, distilled what we know of the things in the universe. So also not us as we are now, but the origins of life, the origins of everything: planets, solar systems.

So if we ask where did we come from? I would have to say that we come from the deeper dimension which became then, the explicate, the known, the perceivable order of the universe. This deeper level is known by various names deeper, the deeper dimension. Some people call it the akashic dimension, or the akashic field, or a grand unified field, or the implicit order according to David Bohm.

We are children of the cosmos. And it’s a very interesting question then: our origin truly. If it reaches back, are we truly alive? Are we truly part of the deeper dimension? Is that discoverable still in us? Are we truly beings of the cosmos? And I think the answer is yes because who we are is not just what we have always been – it is what we have become. And this who we are, what we have become, is not just the body, but it’s also mind, a consciousness.

And that consciousness very probably has its root in that deeper dimension – the dimension that gives rise to everything that there is, including the laws that regulate what there is: the laws of nature about which scientists such as Einstein among them, said that when we really discovered them and take them seriously, we recognize that there must be the at work a great spirit, a great mind must be behind these laws. Because they are coherent they create an observable, intelligible universe.

We are part of that intelligible universe and we have co-created that universe with the laws that were born at the same time that we were born. When was this? Now we enter the deepest mysteries. We can’t say what was there before the Big Bang? Probably it was a field of potentials – a field where everything that is possible to happen could have its happening possibility.

If there was anything prior to the big bang it was an intelligence, it was a cosmic mind. In Christian origins, we talk about the word. In the beginning, there was the word – it was the logos. In the Eastern religions, the same idea crops up: intelligence, the Tao, whatever we call it. The Brahman was there first and everything else develops out of that.

You say now: am I talking mysticism or am I talking science? I’m talking science with its roots on that same dimension from where mysticism also stems. This universe is a Mystique Universe. It’s a miraculous universe.

Over a hundred years ago. The great astronomer James Jeans said that the universe resembles a big thought more than a big mechanism. And sure enough, more and more, we investigate the finest, the smallest details, the deepest elements of this universe, the more we find that it is more like a great thought – that it is information, that it is something intelligible. It’s a very very different concept from what there was 50 years ago, but still is there in so-called mainstream science – much of what is being taught today in universities

But if you really contemplate this question, who are we, where do we come from? You must say we have to go beyond that, because in the new Quantum Science, we recognize that what there is in the world is a Quantum system.

The great scientist Max Planck said after 40 Years of studying the deepest elements of this physical reality, which means the atoms: “I can tell you one thing. There is no such thing as matter in the universe.” What is there? He said, what there is – is a set of vibrations that are held together by a force that creates the atom from the atoms that created the molecules, and the molecules and the supramolecular objects.

The many things that we can observe, that we can touch, and all of those are finally sets of vibration acting together. And as Planck said, this force that holds the atom together, the proton and the neutron, and then the electrons that come into this – that we must consider as an intelligence. A cosmic intelligence.

Wherever we look, however, we look at the world, its origins are beyond matter, beyond even energy in a conventional form. What are the origins then, where we come from, and therefore indirectly who we are? The answer is: informed vibration, informed energy, energy in the form of vibration. Because when we examined the smallest part, no matter is there. But what there is, is the vibration of a given frequency, phase, magnitude. And these vibrations, when they are in phase they create structures. They create things that appear as though they were material.

So we are ourselves clusters or sets of vibration that appear as though we were solid material bodies, but we are more than that. I simply call it nowadays, to give a simplest possible term that is acceptable to modern science also, I call it an attractor. An attractor is something that acts within a complex system and makes you behave in a certain way.

This universe is not a random universe, not a chance universe, this attractor is in the universe, is part of the universe. At its deepest level, is the information of the energy that makes up this universe, makes what it is. The universe is not what you thought it was. It’s a quantum system. More exactly, it’s a microscopic, highly integrated quantum system.

What we are recognizing now is that in this remarkable universe, a truly mysterious universe, that we are decoding little by little, that all things act together – all things act as one. What quantum science teaches us, any part of a quantum system is not local. It’s also present in every other part. You can’t act local. That is nothing local. No causality. No push and pull. No effect. And cause is local. Whatever you do is penetrating throughout this system. It’s part of that system and we are part of the system.

How we come in by these things, we come from beyond, it can be very easily illustrated. This beyond, where the laws of nature reside, that is something like the laws – the laws let’s see of a game, laws of cards, laws of chess, or whatever. These laws are given. And you play the game, you don’t play with the laws. The laws are already given. The laws just tell you how you can play the game, and they are the same for the novice and for the grandmaster in chess. The laws are what this universe is fundamentally. And it’s not the game; it’s what governs the game.

So, we talked about the laws of nature. You can no longer say that they are part of the universe. No, they were there when the universe was born and they will be there, as far as we can tell, when the universe will end. Because that’s also a case that this universe is not a permanent feature of reality, or of the cosmos.

If there is one thing we recognize more and more (and this is also fairly recent, surprisingly recent in science, but it’s not recent in religion and spirituality), namely the idea that there is a higher will, a higher intellect, that governs the evolution of things in the universe and of the universe itself, the structure itself. It all hangs together. And this evolution is not random, not just one darn thing after another as philosophers used to say not so long ago to describe what the universe really is. They would say, it’s just one darn thing after another.

We’re recognizing more that the universe is progressing from chaos to order. And you’re part of this progression. Our consciousness, our body express this in different ways. We are part of an evolutionary process that is non-random because we can go as far as saying there is nothing random in the universe. Why? Because there’s nothing disconnected from anything in the universe – it all hangs together. Whatever you do here and now also affects everything there and then.

So, all this progress is, to use a good term suggested in a different context by the great psychiatrist and a good friend of mine, Stanislav Grof, he uses the term holotropic. Holos means whole, oneness in Greek, tropic comes from the word tropism, which means something that you tend toward: a fish toward the food is a tropism. Even bacteria have tropisms. And of course, our instincts, everything that we are has a tropistic element. We are tending towards something, some direction rather than another. And so does the universe. All of evolution is holotropic in that sense.

All elements work together. And they need to, as it were in human life, in any living system. They need to work together because if they don’t, life is no longer capable. Life is not possible, except in a quantum coherence system

On the physical level, the objective is to maintain this system, this living system that is us. And if we are healthy, if we are normal, we are part of this drive. We obey. We live it. We express it. Intuitive people express it. So-called primitive cultures are far from primitive. They express it. They knew it. Animals know it without being able to verbalize it or conceptualize it.

Now, with our ability to conceptualize, to put together and interpret things, we are interpreting this drive, and we are misinterpreting it very often. We interpreting it as a drive for power, for domination, in the human world for wealth. We’re interpreting it as we first, our country first, never mind the rest. We are replacing this inherent oneness, which is there in the evolution of all life in the universe. We are interpreting it as a competition where the defeater survives.

This is not that kind of a universe. This is not the kind of nature. Sure. There is competition in nature. There appears to be also violence, but it’s always toward larger objectives. The deeper objective in nature is always the survival of a species, the maintenance of these species within that context. And the context is always and ultimately the web of life: the system of life on this planet.

And one day, I think we’ll discover that the system of life on this planet is part of a larger system of life elsewhere in this universe. It would be an incredible sophistry to believe that we alone possess intelligence, we alone are living. We are part of an ongoing, evolution of life and of consciousness in this universe. To recognize it is one great challenge for us.

So there we are at the cusp of an evolutionary process. We built it up to a point where it really is in question whether it can continue this way. It’s become unstable.

Now, instability is fine because without instability, there is no change. There is no progress. Things progress, things move when the previous level of being, of that system, has become unstable, untenable. Then we move, then search, then we finally find hopefully, or we disappear. But if we survive, we move on to something else. And this cusp at which we find ourselves is precisely that moment in history where things either change or they become extinct. The great overwhelming majority of species on this planet have become extinct.

The human species is not so old. As a conscious species 50,000 years, perhaps as a biological species maybe three and a half million years. But as a conscious species, able to reason, able to interpret things, and therefore able to choose a faulty direction, that is recent. And is the power that we now have through technology, we can implement our poor interpretations – a great danger.

Freedom is opportunity. Freedom is the greatest value, but it’s also dangerous. Because the opportunity is to develop the good as well as to develop the bad. We don’t need to go to other planets to find our community. The community is here. It’s the community of all life. And together we can make this a living community because today we need to transform. We need to change. The community that we now have is vulnerable. It is heading toward greater conflict. And if we continue on this path, the future is not going to be bright. It’s not going to be – at least for human beings.

The Rehearsal is Over: “It is the moment of truth over consequences.” | Charles Eisenstein

“Tank Man” is the nickname of an unidentified Chinese man who stood in front of a column of tanks leaving Tiananmen Square in Beijing on June 5, 1989, the day after the Chinese government’s violent crackdown on the Tiananmen protests. This image endures as a potent example of courage and bravery. (Photograph by Jeff Widener of the Associated Press)

By Charles Eisenstein

A friend wrote me about her dilemma. She owns a company employing hundreds of people and is a staunch critic of that-which-shall-not-be-named. She said she has been trying to fly under the radar until sanity is restored, but with looming mandates for large employers, the radar will soon turn on her. What will she do?

I will share with you the inner monologue that her note provoked in me.

* * *

A return to sanity? Sanity will not be restored for us by others. We are the ones that must restore it. We cannot wait for others to be brave on our behalf. We are here in this initiatory moment to choose who we are. The choice of whether to capitulate or to act is a declaration: Who am I to be? What is the world to be? Am I serious enough about my vision for the world to risk my security for it? That is not a challenge meant to goad myself into action. It is simply true. Through my choice, I will know myself as I am. I will become as I choose. The rehearsal is over.

* * *

Many people trust the authorities and willingly comply with their rules. They face no dilemma, no initiatory moment, no self-defining world-creating choice point, not yet.

But as the authorities’ narratives devolve into absurdity and their rules devolve into oppression, more and more of us face this choice:

To live your truth out loud, or
To live by a lie, consoling yourself with secret protest.

To do what you know is right, or
To cave in to the pressure, consoling yourself with words you don’t believe. “I had no choice.”

Yes, for many of us it has come to such a choice. The rehearsal is over.

* * *

Maybe, I think, maybe now is not the time to be brave. Maybe now is not the time to speak out. I’ll wait until it is a little safer.

But it will never be safe to be brave. Never.

If not now, when? If not I, who?

Shall I wait for others to do what I dare not do? We are ready. We’ve been preparing and being prepared for a long time. The rehearsal is over.

* * *

The message is not “Act now.” Do not accept pressure, coercion, bribes or threats. Don’t let me or anyone else tell you what to do or when to do it. We are fighting for the end of the time of dictating each other’s choices, thinking I know better than you what you should be doing.

I trust you to know the right choice. Being trusted is an invitation to be trustworthy. Trusting you to be brave, you become brave, just as I become brave when people see me as brave. Bravery is not a personal achievement; it is a community function. It is a contagion. It is a mutual awakening.

Bravery means acting when you know it is time to act. It isn’t the convenient time. It is simply the time. It is the moment of, “Enough!” It is the moment of, “It is time to do something about it.” It is the moment of truth over consequences.

In that moment you act not because it is brave, but because it is necessary. You recognize that the moment has come. Why now? Because it is time. No other reason is needed.

Bravery means doing what is yours to do, when it is time to do it. Denying that knowing locks your heart in a box. Life becomes a chore. Despair descends like a fog, turning everything gray. Hope withers, leaving behind the dry empty husk called wishful thinking. And you face the dread of living the rest of life knowing, “I did not do what I was here to do, when the moment came and it counted.”

The rehearsal is over.

* * *

If I am not brave, what reason have I to hope others will be? Courage and cowardice both are contagious. My choice establishes a principle of human nature. It declares not only who I am, but what a human being is. and what the world shall be. Each choice is therefore a prayer. Our choices scaffold divine creation.

That is why synchronicity so often congeals around bravery. Synchronicity is the snapping of the laws of probability as reality shifts to align with brave choices.

Seeing that creative power, one knows the despair was based on false premises. The ego’s cautious logic is reversed. The ego says, “Give me a guarantee that it will work and I’ll be OK, then I’ll do it.” The ego says, “Promise me that enough other people will resist, and then I’ll resist too. Prove to me it won’t be in vain. Guarantee that others will join in.” God says, “Show me that you want a more beautiful world enough to actually risk something with no guarantee. Then you will see results beyond all reckoning.”

Is it your time for choosing here? You will recognize when it is. No one can escape that feeling of recognition when the moment comes. If you have read this far, that time is close. You know exactly what I’m talking about.

The rehearsal is over.
