Do our choices affect our destiny? Can't we simply fix things later with a do-over? Shouldn't I be more spontaneous in my life and not over think my decisions? I thought that I should be surrendering, trusting and having more faith in the process. These are some questions that come up for many of us as we try to do the best thing for ourselves as well as for others. These 12 conscious living success tips have saved me time, money, energy and feeling remorseful as a result of my actions.
12 Conscious Living Success Tips
- Stick to your guns!! No means no! Do not allow yourself to be bullied into commitments that you really have no desire to fulfill. When we allow others to control us, we begin to lose sight and control of our destiny.
- Take a healthy step back from unhealthy relationships and create boundaries that work for you. Toxic people and situations only hold us down and back. No one can take advantage of you without your permission, therefore you must enforce the boundaries that work best for you.
- Clear the air when there is a misunderstanding. When we walk away without clear communication, we set ourselves for a bigger mess down the road with our relationships.
- Put forth your best effort in all endeavors. The Universe is listening and sends back to you what you put out.
- When it comes to decisions in your career, please move on when you know it is time to move on. Staying longer than you know you should only creates disharmony. Spirit is going to make you really uncomfortable until you are proactive and take the necessary steps that you may have been avoiding because you know you are in for an uphill battle… do it anyway.
- Are your beliefs limited? When we are open-minded, we are in the space of allowing blessings to manifest without resistance. There are many different solutions that are available to us that have yet to be revealed.
- Eat foods that you know your body, mind and spirit respond well to. We know that our cars do not perform well when we fill up with cheap gas. The same goes with our bodies and the foods we put into them.
- Be as direct as possible with your words. Don't assume that others know what you are thinking or what you are expecting. I like to double check that I am on the same page with others by reviewing the expectations of both parties.
- Check in with yourself to review what your true motives are. Are you making clean and wise decisions or are you trying to prove a point or one up another? The only one you should be in competition with is yourself.
- Be considerate of other people's feelings, opinions and take a moment to put yourself in their shoes before you rush to any judgement.
- Keep your ego in check. Are you too sensitive? Do you anger easily? Are you offended often? Take a moment to quiet the negative ego by really listening to the thoughts you are having. Are they positive and uplifting or are they judging and critical? Thoughts are energy and we receive what we put out into the Universe.
- Be sure you are complete with your current situation before you move on. You may have to repeat the same life lesson if you haven't had closure or have an understanding as to why or how events unfolded in the manner that they did.
