The Ultimate Lesson I Learned On Cathedral Rock Vortex (Watch Video)

Video Source: chakraboosters

Welcome to the final (and I hope best) video post of my 4-part series “Lessons I Learned on Cathedral Rock.”

If you missed the other three lessons, never fear they’re right here:

Lesson #1 – Honor Others

Lesson #2 – Balance Goal-Setting & Being in The Moment

Lesson #3 – Celebrate Your Victories

And now for the fourth and final lesson…

When I reached the so-called “top” of Cathedral Rock which is actually a saddle between some high rocks, this sign greeted me:

end of trail sign

It seems so authoritative and final, but in fact, it was just plain wrong. Yes, that sign may mark the end of the nice, tidy little trail that got me to the top, but it didn’t need to be the end of my trail that day, because there are several options to continue on from that spot.

I think life flashes us these false “End of Trail” signs all the time. But we don’t have to believe them or heed them. And THAT is my final Cathedral Rock Lesson: There’s Always More So Forge New Trails.

The most exciting stuff begins where the tried-and-true leaves off, right?

Now, let me be very clear, there are definitely rewards for going beyond where you usual do (or where others have rarely gone before), but there is also usually a price to pay. Paved roads are easy to walk, whereas creating new pathways in your life may require that you pull out your metaphorical machete and start hacking away at that jungle brush.cactus patch

In other words, as you move courageously into less traveled territory, you’ll probably have to work harder. The good news is that it will almost always be worth it.

On the day I shot the video for this article, I definitely went beyond the trails “end.” And quite interestingly, I arrived upon the perfect metaphor. In order to go out on a red rock ledge beyond the sign, I had to go through a cactus patch. I weaved my way through it being careful not to turn my hike into an acupuncture session, and ended up in a super cool look out spot. That’s me over there, with my hands up in the air, way beyond the sign:

I love this photo because I think it’s a great reminder that we can go beyond the arbitrary “ends” that we so often come to. As a yoga teacher, I see this all the time with my students. They’ll tell me they can’t do a pose, and all I need to do is to get them to keep working it, to keep enjoying the process of opening their body up, and voila, one day, there’s the pose.

As long as we don’t allow ourselves to believe in arbitrary limits, we’ll keep expanding and enjoying the process of doing so.

Do me a favor now, and think of any arbitrary limits you may have in your belief system. Do you hear any of these kinds of voices inside?

“I’ll never be good with numbers.”

“How can I live a long life? Everyone in my lineage died in their 60s.”

“I can’t sing.”

“I’ll never get to see Australia.”

Every single one of these is just a belief, not a reality. Look for more. There’s always more beyond the limit of your beliefs.

And when you take action and go beyond perceived boundaries, you expand your whole world.

What can you do this week to go beyond some sort of “end of trail” sign in your life?

Do it.

And then, please share your experience in the comment section below and inspire another.

Beautiful message, as usual! That’s it, right there….this is what we need to know about “Ascension”…that it does not end if we don’t want it to – it keeps going on and on into infinity! Every once in a while, we get this collective chance – a Grand Reset, if you will…where we get another opportunity to begin creating something NEW and good. And even more so on a personal level…we get many chances to do that – create anew from the Zero Point Energy or Void perspective. Thank you for the wonderful confirmation Vicki…have a wonderful day! Much Love and Blessings! Z 🙂
