Every year almost 10 million people suffer from the pain of Hemorrhoids. Around 14% of the total number is from an urban population, which is itself evidence of the fact that urban people incline the risk of piles because of the rise in stress, insomnia, constipation, and a growing inclination for the fast food. Typically, 45-65 age groups, people suffer from piles. Still, the scenario has changed, not old age people or pregnant women even the teenagers could be at a risk of developing piles because of the change in the food habits and lifestyle of the people in the cities.
Piles is another term for hemorrhoids. They are collections of inflamed tissue in the anal canal, which contain blood vessels, support tissue, muscle, and elastic fibers. Piles occur due to chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, lifting heavy weights, pregnancy, or straining when passing a stool. India's urban population suffers from a persistent bowel movement, an inability to pass stools for more than three times a week, and more than three months at a stretch. It is a proven fact that piles are more prevalent in cities than in small towns because of the higher intake of junk food, spices, aerated drinks, and low consumption of the fiber-rich diet. Thus, kids nowadays start experiencing the problem at a tender age, which is a point of concern in today's times.
A properly balanced diet is essential to cure the problem. The high intake of the fiber-based food items i.e., salads, green and leafy vegetables, and fruits that are rich in fiber, helps in preventing and curing piles. Constipation requires straining to pass motions, which may cause slower blood circulation resulting in the clotting of blood. These may lead to heart attacks and strokes in some of the cases. Hence, a balanced diet and intake of fiber-rich items can be the only solution to the problem.
Piles can be treated with the home remedies with the proper intake of fiber-rich edibles that are oats, beans, sesame, alma, which are risk-free and help in curing piles. The ayurvedic treatment provides one stop solution and complete relief from piles. Ayurvedic treatment cure problems from the root and involve the intake of certain herbs, which help in the proper functioning of the body and cures the disease of the origin. But again, ayurveda doesn’t work in all cases. You will definitely need a piles treatment specialist that can tell you if you have go for general medication, laser or stapler surgery or only ayurveda is enough for making you fine. Fortunately, most hemorrhoid problems can be solved with over the counter solutions such as hemorrhoid cream with lidocaine or natural remedies. Operations are rarely performed and only in extreme cases.
Hence, it can be said that the urban population is more inclined towards the pile's problem with the changes in the eating pattern, lifestyle, and stress level. Moreover, the alarming concern is the kids facing the pile's problem. Thus, it is highly essential to know the problem and go home remedies, and in case the problem persists, you can consult a doctor and ask for proper medication. The right selection of food, abstinence from spices and meat, the inclusion of yoga in one's daily schedule are great remedies in Ayurveda that give freedom from piles forever.
