Life Purpose – How To Live It… and Get Paid For It!

Discovering and fulfilling your life purpose is your ultimate goal because that’s what you’re here to do! …And for a very good reason.

This is probably the most exciting process – self-discovery. When you discover what you’re here to do your horizons open up and the way forward suddenly becomes clear. It’s like a breath of fresh air.

Most people are brought up to believe that they have to choose a job or career that first and foremost provides security and pays the bills. Straying from the conventional career choice is discouraged because it’s ‘not realistic’, ‘too risky’, ‘underpaid’ etc. etc. Not true!

So, let’s explore the exciting world of life purpose and how it is the superhighway to achieving fulfillment, happiness, and abundance.

What is Life Purpose?

There are differing views as to what life purpose is. One view is that it is what you do – the job or career you are ‘called’ to. Another view is that it is who you are meant to be, or become, during the course of your life. We believe it is both, and we’ll explain this by looking at both aspects and how they interconnect.

Soul Purpose

Soul purpose is related to who you are as a spiritual being.

You have chosen to experience a physical life on planet Earth in order to have experiences that will enable you to grow on a spiritual level in specific areas.

Dan Millman’s book “The Life You Were Born to Live” uses Pythagorean numerology based on your date of birth to identify your soul purpose (Dan calls it Life Purpose, I call it Soul Purpose). I’ve used Dan’s approach with all my clients and they have been amazed at how accurately it reflects their experiences and personal challenges. Try it!

Once you understand ‘why you are here’, the challenges you’ve faced, often repeatedly, start to make sense and give meaning to your life experiences. With a different perspective and an understanding of the significance of what has happened in the past, you can make different choices to create positive outcomes in the future, instead of repeating the same mistakes.

Ultimately, your soul purpose is to experience Love, Joy, Peace, and Abundance (LJPA) and your experiences in this lifetime will be the catalysts for you to recognize and overcome your core issues that are getting in the way.

Life Purpose

My definition of life purpose is that it is what you are here to do; your life purpose steers you to ideal situations to provide ‘evolutionary catalysts’ for your spiritual growth – your soul purpose. In effect, your life purpose is the enabler for your soul purpose.

For some people, their life purpose is obvious to them at an early age. They know what they want to do in life. They want to be a doctor or a lawyer. They have a vocation.

For most people, the possibility doesn’t even exist. They believe they are just here to make a living as best they can; to survive and save enough money to see them through retirement until they die. They go through job after job to make ends meet but carry with them a constant feeling of frustration; that something significant is missing from their life.

Understanding the concept of life purpose doesn’t necessarily mean you know what it is! It may be a mystery to you for years and you may only discover your purpose much later in life. I didn’t discover my life purpose until I was 54, and even now, 7 years later, I am still discovering its full meaning. There was a very good reason for that. I needed to have experiences that would prepare me for my life purpose and it was only when I reached the point of being ready that it was revealed to me.

One thing for sure is that your life purpose will be something you are passionate about and will use your natural talents.

Everything happens for a reason and everything you have experienced in your life to date is related to your life purpose, either directly if you’re already living it, or indirectly, as an apprenticeship to prepare you to fulfill it.

Soul Purpose and Life Purpose Symbiosis

life purpose soul purposeSoul Purpose and Life Purpose work symbiotically; they are mutually supportive and beneficial. To fulfill your soul purpose and experience Love, Joy, Peace and Abundance you have to fulfill your life purpose. Your life purpose is something you Love and you experience Joy as you do it. You are at Peace because there is no inner conflict between what you are doing and what you are truly here to do. You experience Abundance because you receive rewards from the Universe for fulfilling what you’re here to do and for the contribution you are making to the world.

The Universe always supports you in fulfilling your purpose.

The challenges you face in life are ‘evolutionary catalysts’ and ‘course corrections’ to steer you in the right direction, and present you with the lessons you need to learn to facilitate your spiritual growth.

How to Discover Your Life Purpose

If you’re struggling to discover your life purpose, I have a simple exercise to help you.

Start by reviewing your life experiences and picking out recurring themes that point to what your purpose might be. Then make a list of your natural talents and see how those talents relate to the themes you’ve identified.

You may experience an Aha moment and find the answer immediately, or you may have to sit with it and play with different ideas. Sit quietly and ask the Universe “How can I serve?” – then wait for answers.

How do you know when you’ve discovered it?

You just KNOW – intuitively, deeply, with certainty.

…And Get Paid For It

This might seem obvious, but to get paid for it you have to DO it!

This doesn’t mean you have to leap off a cliff and change everything all at once, but it does mean getting clear on exactly what it means in practice and developing a plan to transition from what you’re doing now. Focus on the outcome, not the obstacles!

Your life purpose doesn’t have to be your livelihood. You may decide to fulfill it through volunteer work or as a hobby. Just make sure that the way you choose to fulfill it is a conscious empowered choice that feels right.

Now let’s look at the subject of payment. I expect you immediately thought about payment in terms of money! Money is only one form of energy exchange and your payment can come in many different forms and from multiple directions.

Payment is governed by the Universal Law of Giving and Receiving. Giving and receiving operates in an infinite cycle. You give your product or service and you receive your reward.

This can come in the form of money or payments ‘in kind’. It might come directly from the recipient or from another source. You can choose what is appropriate for each ‘transaction’. It can work in different ways at different times.

Yes, we all need money to live in this world, and money has a role to play, but NOT ALWAYS! You can negotiate forms of payment that remove the necessity for money by providing you with goods or services directly that you would otherwise have had to give money for.

When you work in alignment with the Universal Law of Giving and Receiving you have an energy of giving and the receiving part follows naturally. Focus on the product or service you are giving, and be open and flexible about how you receive your reward and you’ll be amazed how easily abundance flows to you.

How to Live a Meaningful Life – Part 4

The Two Levels of Meaning

We can look at how to live a meaningful life on two different levels.

On one level it can be, “I’ve discovered my purpose. And this is the path I’m going to take” from the point of view of what you are here to do.

On another level it can be “I’ve discovered my soul purpose”, maybe through the Dan Millman book The Life You Were Born to Lead, which is who you are here to be. It means that when you come up against challenges related to your soul purpose, you’re not going to beat yourself up and say “you stupid person, you’re making the same mistakes all the time”, you’re going to recognize that, “Oh, I’m going to get these challenges because these are the areas that I’ve come here to work on. So of course, I have to be challenged in those areas, otherwise, I’m not going to complete my mission.”

Your Ultimate Purpose

Your ultimate purpose is to recognize, appreciate, and develop your gifts and use them to benefit others. This applies to both your soul purpose and your life purpose. It’s the combination of BEING and DOING the best you can. We’re given them s we can be of service to others. It doesn’t big things, big roles, it can be just doing whatever we can to uplift other people, help other people – random acts of kindness.

Give people compliments, acknowledge people, be present in conversations rather than let your thoughts wander to what happened last week, or what’s going to happen tomorrow, or what I want to say to this person, rather than really listening to them. Give people attention, quality time – it can be the little things that mean a lot to people.

You can bring meaning to your life in an unlimited number of ways. As I said, they don’t have to be big things, they can be little things.

We’re seeing examples of people stepping up to be of service. There’s a young guy called Scott Presler who’s taken it upon himself to lead teams of people to clean up garbage in places like Chicago and San Francisco where there are so many homeless people that the cities have become filled with trash, discarded needles, even human feces.

He’s stepped up to really make a difference in those areas with a simple strategy of picking up trash, and he’s now getting quite a following and even appearing on TV.

So it doesn’t have to be a monumental project. Just doing small things can add meaning to your life and give you a feeling of joy, really raise your vibration, and give you a reason for living. Just a smile can uplift somebody.

Life Purpose and Manifestation

To reiterate, our life purpose is connected to manifestation. The universe supports us in the fulfillment of that purpose. So, this is why, again, it’s really important to take the time to discover your purpose because that will lead to a meaningful life.

We aren’t physical beings having a spiritual experience, we’re spiritual beings having a human experience so life is not just about physicality, it’s about spirituality and our higher purpose and what we can do to contribute to the collective consciousness and the collective goal of raising the vibration of people and the planet.

Certainly, that was the higher purpose I was led to and I believe one way of fulfilling my purpose is to broadcast my radio show and provide my guests with a platform to share their knowledge and expertise. I know that because when I stopped broadcasting for a few months, I was feeling a strong inner compulsion to get back on the radio and start broadcasting again.

Similarly, with the Festival of Enlightenment, I felt that I had to provide a platform for these messages to get out to the world, to provide information for people, to educate them, and to help them raise their consciousness. This was in 2011, in preparation for the December 2012 energetic shift.

Your purpose can manifest in many different roles. When I looked back on my life, I saw I was fulfilling my purpose when I was a manager in my corporate career. I was supporting the members of my team, I was helping them develop, become empowered them and achieve their goals and ambitions. So, as you can see, my purpose has been fulfilled in different ways but the core theme has been the same.

Discover Your Purpose

If you want to discover your purpose using the same method that I used I suggest you download my free Life Purpose Formula and also look into your personality profile at 16personalities.com. The more you get to know yourself, the clearer it will become as to what your journey on this earth is meant to be.

The other advantage is, the better you know yourself, the less you’ll be affected by other people’s opinions of you. You won’t feel the need to compare yourself to others, you’ll just be focused on and committed to the path you’ve chosen. and that is powerful.

In conclusion, I urge you to develop self-knowledge, self-awareness, and discover your purpose. That is really the key to stepping into your power and creating the meaningful life that you want to live.

How to Live a Meaningful Life – Part 2

Life purpose and soul purpose are very closely connected to living a meaningful life, in fact, a meaningful life is just a synonym for a purposeful life.

Firstly, I want to ask you a few questions.

How do you feel when you wake up in the morning? Do you feel energized and enthusiastic? Are you looking forward to the day or do you just want to roll over and go back to sleep? Do you get Monday morning blues and yearn for Friday to come?

I think it’s worth recognizing that if we wake up in that kind of mood, the chances are we’re not getting a great deal of joy and meaning out of our life. I know we all have bad days but ultimately, if you think about it, how many people are going to a job every day that they really don’t enjoy; they have no passion for it.

We’ve all been subjected to programming and indoctrination to work for the elites, the so-called rat race, the Deep State agenda, and some people haven’t been able to break free from that programming. So they go to work every day, perhaps have a very boring, repetitive, uninteresting job, and they’re enduring it for the sake of getting a paycheck at the end of the month and being able to pay the bills. Then they get home at the end of the day, they’re too exhausted to do anything other than slump in front of the TV and get more programming.

Also, how often are people pushed into doing things to meet other people’s expectations, rather than following their heart and doing what they really want to do? Many children are subjected to this when they’re growing up. They have this wonderful ambition to achieve an “out of the box” career or path and the parents say, “No, you can’t do that. It’s not secure. It’s not responsible. You’re never going to make enough money.” And so they get shoehorned into the conventional path of working to live and living to work.

Other people have been programmed into thinking that they have to do certain things to achieve a certain status, rather than doing what really brings them joy and happiness. You see it in the corporate world; people climbing the corporate ladder and getting the bigger car and the bigger house and accumulating “stuff”, but deep inside they’re going through inner conflict because they’re not doing what they actually came here to do.

Your Soul Contract

To dive into a metaphysical perspective, we come here with a soul contract and we’re here to evolve and do certain things. If we don’t do that, then we have this conflict within us between our ego and our higher self.

Our ego is the part of our psyche that is linked to our physical incarnation, the part of us that thinks we’re purely physical, that we’re vulnerable; the ego is fear-based. The ego wants to project an image that will get admiration and validation. It’s the higher self that really knows what our purpose is, and knows what we came here to do.

When we get that conflict between the ego and the higher self, it really makes us uncomfortable and this is often what causes the “dark night of the soul” where the conflict within us gets so great that we get to the point of saying, “I can’t live like this anymore. There must be something better.” I certainly went through that in 2009.

After transitioning out of corporate life because the values of the organization weren’t in alignment with my values and then starting a business as an internet consultant, I had a major shift that really led me to discover my purpose and to take a completely different path.

If you’re feeling that inner conflict, that feeling within you of tension, unhappiness, and frustration perhaps it’s saying you really need to look at yourself and decide whether you’re doing this for the right reason.

There are people in the Law of Attraction community who say that when you discover your purpose, everything is plain sailing, everything goes smoothly, but that’s definitely not the way it works. The reason is that, as Viktor Frankl said in his book Man’s Search For Meaning that I quoted from in Part 1, we’re here to answer questions. We’re here to make choices and the choices we have to make are often difficult. If we don’t get those questions, if we don’t get those challenges, we’re not going to change and grow.

Victor Frankl says that meaning doesn’t come from a situation of homeostasis, in other words, from things staying the same. Meaning comes from having a “why“. As Nietzsche said, “He who has a why to live for can bear with almost any how.” There’s a well-known quote that says, “If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll end up somewhere else”.

Life Purpose & Soul Purpose

Purpose and meaning are very similar. With that in mind, let me explain the difference between life purpose and soul purpose.

Soul purpose is who you have come here to BE – it is your spiritual and personal growth. Who are you? Who are you here to become in terms of self-growth?

Life purpose is what you have come here to DO. Some people come into the world and they know from a very early age that they want to be a doctor, or an actor, or a lawyer, or whatever it may be. That’s the path that they choose, and that’s the path that they follow.

In my experience, while our soul purpose is unchanging, our life purpose, what we do, can change over a period of time and the reason for this is because life purpose is what provides us with the environment and the situations that present the challenges that we need to fulfill our soul purpose. When you know your purpose, when you know you’re on the right path, you have the determination to keep going even when things get tough.

When I look back, and I look at what I’m doing now in relation to what I was doing in the past, I can see a theme running through all the things in my life that were related to working with people. All the jobs and roles I was playing were providing me with the knowledge and experience I needed to do what I’m doing today, which is coaching and teaching people how to become empowered and fulfill their life and soul purpose.

There’s a really good book by Dan Millman entitled The Life You Are Born To Live – A Guide to Finding your Life Purpose.  His definition of life purpose is what I refer to as soul purpose. The book uses the numerology of your birthdate to determine what your purpose is, from a personal growth point of view. When I looked up my birth date, I discovered that I’m here to work through issues of abundance and power.

I grew up in a situation where my family was quite affluent until I was seven years old. Then my father left and my mother had to bring up three children on her own. My mother struggled to put food on the table and keep a roof over our heads. I was experiencing scarcity, which led me to want the opposite, which was abundance. I also had experiences at school, which were very humiliating and disempowering. I realized later that our early experiences set out the curriculum for what we’re here to work on as our soul purpose. That’s why I became so passionate about helping people to become empowered and create a life of abundance and prosperity which is at the heart of what I’m teaching and coaching now.

Please remember that if we’re here with a soul purpose of self-growth, we’re not going to get it over and done in a flash. It’s why we come here for a lifetime. We’re going to be peeling off multiple layers of the onion, as it were, in terms of our core issues in those particular areas.

I was in my mid-50s, when I really started delving into personal development, awakening, if you like, and starting to learn much more about the Universe and how it works. When I started to recognize what I was carrying in terms of my inner (limiting) beliefs and started to work on them that was really the start of my journey.

In 2010, I moved from the UK to the US to create the Festival of Enlightenment and took a leap of faith. As I said at the time, I jumped off the cliff and hoped the parachute would open! My why was that I felt that I’d been given a mission to accomplish in terms of putting on this festival. In a meditation, I saw the vision of what the festival should be and what it should consist of, that it should be in nature and it should have music, art, and speakers on personal and spiritual development.

The experience of coming to the US from the UK and taking on this project to create the Festival of Enlightenment challenged me on so many levels. It challenged my limiting beliefs – “Who am I to be doing this festival?” and “Why would people want to come to it?” and it also challenged my continuing fears around money. It brought back those experiences in my early life where I felt under threat of not having money, of not having food on the table, and of not being good enough.

So, even though I’d done a lot of inner work, I was still carrying a lot of fears related to money. There were many times during the year leading up to June 2011, when the festival actually happened, when I was challenged to the nth degree, and there were so many situations when I could have just thrown in the towel and said, “Oh, the hell with this, I’m not going to do it. It’s too hard.” But I felt like I’d been given a divine mission, so failure was not an option.

I had to find a way to overcome every challenge and in doing so I was facing up to all the core issues that I came here to resolve as my soul purpose. And things are still coming up to be healed – as I say, it takes a lifetime to overcome these things. But the reason this is important is in relation to meaning. Having a meaningful life, a purposeful life means that when you’ve discovered your purpose, you have a level of commitment that, regardless of the bumps in the road, and the major challenges that you’ll face along the way, you won’t give up because you’ll know deep inside that this is what you’re here to do. That’s how I felt when I was creating the Festival of enlightenment.

It really comes down to the why.

When you know your why, the why rather than just the what, you won’t be doing things to meet other people’s expectations, or to achieve a certain status, or work on meaningless jobs. People who do that probably haven’t thought through the why of what they’re doing. Some people just drift from day to day without any goals at all. They’re just running on the treadmill of the rat race, just trying to keep going and make ends meet and perhaps they don’t recognize the importance of taking time to really step back and say, “what is it that I want from this life? Is what I’m doing now actually fulfilling that? And if not, what do I need to do to move forward”?

As Viktor Frankl said in his book Man’s Search For Meaning, having a Why was really critical for people to not lose hope, not give up, and stay committed to their future goals.

I invite you to download a free copy of the Dream Achievers Success Kit – The Top 20 Mistakes That Stop You Manifesting Your Dreams. One of the key things I say when it comes to setting goals is to start with the why – the importance of setting goals from the heart, not the head because the why is in your heart and the how is in your head.

Empowered Manifestation – 7 Essential Factors for Positive Creation

Empowered manifestation is the creation of desired outcomes and it is a process that has fascinated me since I stumbled across the Law of Attraction back in 2008.

I remember feeling inspired and uplifted when I discovered the Law of Attraction early in 2008. It was at a deeply emotionally challenging time in my life when I had all manner of family issues coming at me, a husband unable to work because of physical problems and we were in serious financial difficulties, deeply in debt with very little income. We had cashed in our few investments and were living day to day using our credit cards, trying to maintain an image of affluence and success.

The concept that we are responsible for the world we create and our outcomes was completely new to me. Like most people, I had been taught that circumstances happened ‘out there’ and I had to deal with them. But I had reached a point in my life when I felt so beaten down by circumstances that I had to find another way, a better way, of living. I was working really hard and getting nowhere. I guess a lot of people get to that point and it’s either make or break, give up or go on.

The Law of Attraction as portrayed in the movie ‘The Secret’ seemed to be the answer. Just think positively, use affirmations, visualize my dreams and create a vision board and everything I desire will magically fall into place.

Unfortunately it didn’t work that way for me, and I suspect it doesn’t work that way for most people. I was working hard on keeping a positive attitude, keeping a journal, writing affirmations till the cows came home but I was still in debt, my husband was still miserable and sick and I was still dealing with crisis after crisis in my family.

Did I lose hope? No!

I intuitively believed in the process. I had to discover more about how it worked and, most importantly, make it work for me. From that point on I embarked on an amazing journey of discovery about how manifestation – empowered creation – really works and I also discovered my purpose which is to teach others about my findings. The story from then until now has been an amazing adventure of discovery which led me to life on a new continent when I moved from England to the USA, and to the most challenging experiment to manifest the Festival of Enlightenment which was held in Estes Park, Colorado in June 2011.

Since 2009, I have been through the highs and lows of manifestation and my research and personal experiences have taught me the intricacies of the multi-dimensional nature of manifestation.

I don’t have the space here to record the full in-depth details of what I’ve discovered about the process of manifestation, so I’ll focus on the 7 essential factors to give you a greater understanding of how the Universal Law of Creation works, and how you can apply these principles to fulfill your purpose and achieve your dreams.

Factor 1 – Your Purpose

Manifestation works in conjunction with your purpose – that’s life purpose and soul purpose. In a nutshell, Life Purpose is what you DO and Soul Purpose is about BEING and your spiritual development in this life.

This basic principle to recognize is that the Universe won’t support you in going down a path that is not in alignment with your purpose. That would be counter-productive wouldn’t it? So if you’re hitting a brick wall with your manifestation, perhaps you need to step back and think about WHY you want to manifest that desire. Does it align with your life purpose and soul purpose?

Factor 2 – Consciousness

Your ability to manifest your desires is linked to your level of consciousness.

I’m sure you’ll agree that there are a lot of people with a super talent for manifesting what they don’t want and seem to be incapable of manifesting what they say they do want.

The journey to consciousness involves distinguishing between the thoughts in your head that originate from the ego versus those that come from your Higher Self – your spirit.

The ego is the source of your doubts, self-criticism, fears and lack of self-worth. Given that you get what you focus on, if your thoughts are controlled by the ego you will create all the things you fear, want to avoid and definitely don’t want more of. The thing is, manifestation works 24/7 so if your head is filled with all the stuff you’re trying to get rid of, you’ll just get more of the same.

Factor 3 – Belief

Speaking of belief… you have to believe on 2 levels.

You have to believe in the process of manifestation and you have to believe in the possibility of having the thing that you desire.

When I was working on creating the Festival of Enlightenment, I was inundated with people who wanted to be involved because they liked the idea of the process of manifestation, but when it came to the crunch their logic and conditioned beliefs took over and persuaded them that it wasn’t possible. They focused on the obstacles instead of the outcome. They weren’t yet at the level of consciousness that allowed them to let go and BELIEVE that the ‘impossible’ was possible.

So, the key message here is that you have to believe that manifestation works and that what you desire is possible.

Factor 4 – Vibrational Frequency

Back to the quantum physics… and the concept of ego v spirit.

Here’s the deal. We’re all schizophrenics! We all have the ego and the Higher Self, or Spirit self in our consciousness. It is our soul purpose to move from ego into spirit and by doing so we raise our vibrational frequency.

I used to think that manifestation was about our positive vibration attracting other positive vibrations (or negative attracting negative) but I’ve discovered this is too simplistic for the complex universe we live in.

We live in a multi-dimensional universe but on Earth we largely have a 3-dimensional experience. As we raise our vibrational frequency we start to tune into other dimensions which is where we really step into our creative power.

Our ability to create depends on our ability to tune into our intuition, our connection with the Divine so we take inspired action rather than logical action.

When we are in the flow of empowered creation we put intuition in the lead role and logic takes the supporting role.

Factor 5 – Self-Worth

This is a biggie.

When we fail to manifest it is most often due to our lack of self-worth. We have BIG dreams but our sub-conscious mind carries a lot of baggage that means in our heart we don’t believe it is possible for us to achieve those dreams.

That doesn’t mean our dreams are hopeless – it just means we have work to do to change our perception of ourself.

Factor 6 – Timing

We live in a world of instant gratification and if we don’t get what we want in what we consider to be reasonable timescales we get discouraged or downright p—-d off!

This was a real eye-opener for me. As a child I had obsessed with wanting a pony, pretending to be one, visualizing myself riding and grooming my dream pony. If the Law of Attraction worked as it was presented I would have had a herd of horses in my back yard. Not so. I manifested my horses at the point that they played a significant role in my purpose and not before.

Factor 7 – Awareness

When we send out our desire to the Universe it’s like placing an internet order. Your order will be acknowledged and you’ll get messages to tell you it is being processed. You need to be aware in every moment and looking for signs – signs from the Universe that your manifestation is in progress. You’ll get messages from the most unlikely places and synchronicities that will bring you people and opportunities that move you in the direction of the manifestation of your desire.

Summary

Our ability to manifest is linked to our purpose and level of consciousness and goes much deeper than attracting more stuff on a materialistic level.

[Video] How Manifestation is Linked to Your Life Purpose and Soul Purpose

In this video, I talk about how manifestation is linked to your life purpose and soul purpose and tell a true story to illustrate the point. The way the law of attraction is often presented is an over-simplification and does not reflect the multi-dimensional power of universal consciousness and the role of your higher self in determining what you manifest in your life.

Because we forget why we have incarnated in this lifetime, we are not aware of our intentions for this lifetime, but our higher self is and can manifest things that our conscious mind is not even aware that we desire or intend.

I can tell many stories of how people have manifested in my life to point me to the next piece of information I need to learn more about the nature of the universe and how it truly works. I have been led to read certain books and be blessed with connections that can help to clarify and validate my purpose – for example when I was introduced to the lovely Debbra Lupien of Akasha Unleashed, who was a guest on my Cosmic Creating Show and who graciously gave me a soul-profile and Akashic records reading which confirmed my purpose to assist in conscious evolution and the ascension process.

I was also introduced to a person who asked me if I knew of Dolores Cannon, who developed QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique), and that led me to her book “The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth” which also revealed to me that I am a ‘first-waver’ and that I am here to assist in raising the vibration of people and the planet.

I can tell many more stories of manifestation – both conscious and unconscious, and I will share more in future posts and videos. I encourage you to step back and consider what has shown up in your life, aka manifested, and how these things/people/information are linked to your life and soul purpose.

If you have yet to discover your life purpose and soul purpose, watch another video of mine below, and in the description on YouTube, I offer you a FREE Life Purpose Formula to help you discover your life purpose. I also explain how your life purpose and soul purpose are connected.

I’d love to get your comments either here or on YouTube and hear about your experiences with manifestation and whether you recognize the link to your life purpose and soul purpose.

[Video] How to Discover Your Life Purpose and Soul Purpose

… And Why It’s Critically Important

Discovering your life purpose and soul purpose has probably become very important to you because once you are awakened you realize that you have come here with a unique life purpose and soul purpose to fulfill, and doing stuff that isn’t in alignment with your life purpose and soul purpose is no longer acceptable to you.

It is only by discovering your life purpose and soul purpose that you experience the meaning and fulfillment in life from delivering your unique gifts to the world and make the difference that’s the reason you are here in this lifetime and at this time.

In this video, I share how my horse was the catalyst for discovering my life purpose and soul purpose and embarking on my spiritual journey. I also share the distinction between life purpose and soul purpose and how YOU can discover your life purpose and soul purpose too.

Life is an apprenticeship and once you discover your life purpose and soul purpose you’ll recognize the significance of EVERYTHING that has led you to the present moment and provided the skills, experiences, and challenges without which you wouldn’t be capable of fulfilling your purpose.

Manifestation is a Spiritual Process

I know I’m not alone in thinking that the movie “The Secret” left out a lot of critical information about the Law of Attraction, which is why so many people struggle to make it work for them on a consistent basis.

On the other hand, many people (myself included) were introduced to the concept of manifestation by this movie, and for that I’m extremely grateful to Rhonda Byrne for producing it. I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. It was the catalyst for me to set out on a quest to discover the truth about manifestation and how it works. I don’t profess to know all the answers by any means, but I will share with you one of the fundamental principles that affects your ability to manifest your wishes.

I’ve heard the Law of Attraction referred to as a force like gravity that is always working whether you believe in it or not.  That’s true on one level, but unlike gravity which is a purely physical force, the power behind manifestation has intelligence and is affected by so much more than positive thinking or the desire for material possessions.

The ability to manifest our desires consistently requires a higher consciousness. By that I mean that it is impossible to manifest positive outcomes when our ego is in charge – we have to be operating from our Higher Self with an alignment between our conscious and subconscious mind. So we have to work on our conscious evolution from the 3rd dimensional world of ego to the 4th dimensions of Spirit and the Higher Self.

Mindfulness

The difference between the 3rd and 4th dimensions is that the 3rd dimension is egoic and the 4th dimension is spiritual, hence the title of this post, that manifestation is a spiritual process and requires that we evolve from 3rd dimensional thinking to 4th dimensional consciousness (and above).

Ego is the part of us that is fearful, vulnerable and associated with the physical body so it believes in mortality. The physical body eventually “dies” so the ego‘s job is to protect us. It is also linked to our personality in this lifetime so it is vulnerable on a psychological level and is the source of limiting beliefs and self-esteem issues.

The ego is responsible for the voice of our inner critic, trying desperately to stop us from stepping outside our comfort zone and putting us at risk… of harm, failure, criticism etc.

Mindfulness is the 4th dimensional state of consciousness in which we are aware of all our thoughts and feelings, consciously choosing which thoughts to allow into our consciousness. It is the consciousness of unconditional love, self love; love is the power behind everything we do and in our relationships with others. We believe in our immortality as spiritual beings and we are connected to God, Source, Spirit.

To attain a state of mindfulness requires focus, commitment and self-discipline in which we replace egoic, fearful, negative thoughts with “Higher” spiritual, loving and empowered thoughts. Recognizing and transforming our thought processes involves facing and dealing with our core issues and limiting beliefs. It is a process that is compared to peeling off the layers of an onion; as one issue is dealt with and peeled away another one is revealed.

The reason why manifestation can be a roller coaster ride is that when the ego is in charge our mind is focused on fear and negativity so we manifest more of what we don’t want – problems not solutions. Those thoughts reflect our subconscious core issues that still need resolving. It seems like we’re failing to manifest, but we’re just manifesting the result of those negative thoughts.

The things we manifest easily are the things that have no limiting beliefs or core issues associated with them, so we can stay in our Higher Self; our conscious desires and subconscious beliefs are in alignment and everything comes easily. So one person might easily manifest perfect health, another person might easily manifest financial abundance.

By recognizing what comes easily and what seems to be a struggle you can identify the core issues that need work. You can also identify them by the quality of thought associated with them. Core issues will be associated with fearful, anxious and stressful thoughts – the product of the insecure ego.

Resisting the ego delays the process of evolution – what you resist persists. When egoic thoughts arise don’t hate or resent them, or get frustrated because it seems as if you can’t get rid of this particular issue. If you do, you’re reacting from ego and actually strengthening it!

Instead, become the detached observer of these thoughts and feelings – rise above them – and thank the ego for drawing this issue to your attention. Recognize the trigger that made these thoughts arise, then consciously replace the negative thought with a positive thought. Do this each time the thought arises and you’ll train your brain to think the positive thought instead.

This is the process of a lifetime – it is our soul mission to deal with these aspects of ourselves, so don’t get disheartened if the same things keep coming up for you. Some resolve quicker than others. Just acknowledge them with gratitude, shift the thoughts into the positive and you’ll not only make steady progress in clearing these issues but your ability to manifest positive outcomes in that area of your life will increase too.

Accessing The Akashic Records to Discover Your Divine Gifts

In this episode of the Conscious Creating Show on Cosmic Reality Radio I’m interviewing Debbra Lupien, known as The Answer Diva. Debbra is a Psychic/Intuitive who helps women (and men) connect with their inner wisdom and power through The Akashic Records. She is on a mission to awaken souls and ignite their passion and desire to live a more conscious, empowered life.

Prior to her psychic work, Debbra spent many years as The Database Diva, building custom databases for the publishing world. Her solutions helped clients get control of their data and powerfully use it to serve their needs. Thus she went from data mining 3rd dimensional information, to data mining the 5th dimensional archive of The Akashic Records. All in perfect alignment with the journey to her soul purpose.

She describes The Akashic Records as the equivalent of  “The Missing Manual on You.” Vital details such as: divine gifts, soul purpose, life lesson, information to resolve difficult relationships, or just about anything else a person might want to know is all there. The complete “Missing Manual”  just waiting for you to seek it out.

Debbra’s dream is to gather a tribe of fierce women who are ready to stand in their power. To once and for all claim their birthright. To embody their divine gifts and use them to create an abundant, happy life with no limitations. Together they will be an unstoppable force.

Living The Dream 24/7 – What Does Your Soul Ache For?

Openhand | 30th June 2014

meditationFinding your real passion
What is it that really makes you tick in life? What is it that gets you out of bed in the cold, dark hours before the sun rises – have you discovered it yet? Is there something that you would give your whole life for – something that is more important even than breathing? Well, I can safely say that I’m one of those fortunate beings to have discovered the answer for me.

And in sharing a reflection, you might well find some inspiration for you too…

Living, breathing, thriving, growing, evolving being

Many people are thrown off the scent of true destiny by fate. They’re fated to be distracted from their dream because they settle for too little too soon. They can feel their soul yearning for something, but rather than riding the wave a little longer, working a little more diligently, having a touch more patience, instead they fall off the wave and onto the soft shoulder of placation: comfort eating; filling the quietness with noise; another distraction; some kind of physical attainment.

But what is the soul really all about?

There’s a living, breathing, thriving, growing, evolving being at the core of everything that you do, everything you achieve, accomplish and even fail at. There’s a you which is yearning to create and yet to ‘whom’ the creation itself matters hardly a jot.

Cherished, held, nurtured and supported

What matters most is the dream itself… the sense of interconnected flow, the knowing that you’re a part of something bigger, a deeper meaning, a transcendent dialogue with the divine that speaks into the core of your being. And this co-creative dream has just one purpose:

To express in every moment the fullness of who you are, right now!

If you can touch this truth and align with it, if you can keep surrendering to it, then I believe something will happen to you that happened to me:

You realise there’s nothing else in life worth having, because there’s nothing else that is real going on. What could surpass this superlative sense of being an interconnected part of the universe – cherished, held, nurtured and supported as if nothing else mattered?

A never ending weaving and dancing intimacy

Yes you’ll create things. Yes you’ll having deeply loving relationships. Yes you’ll taste the real juice of life. In fact you’ll drink these bounteous pleasures with a sensuality you never knew before. Because you don’t try to own them, they don’t own you. You’re simply flowing through them, expressing through them, evolving and growing through them.

Your evolutionary expression becomes the meaning of life. And the whole of life helps you in that ‘goal’ – a never ending, weaving and dancing intimacy.

It’s something you can never fail at and always win, no matter what takes place in the physicality of life.

The soul is never the same twice

It’s not easy though. Sometimes finding and unleashing the fullness of being can be immensely challenging and tough. Yes there are times when it will feel effortless, like falling off a log, where the letting go is the toughest part. But then there are other times when you have to work hard at it, deeply confront the moment, transcend through the internal contractions and resistances to the moment. It’s because there are greatly different facets to the soul, and different blends want to express at different times.

And it’s never the same twice. Each moment is always unique and so the expression will always be unique – providing you’ve worked to find that degree of flexibility and malleability.

Can you go hungry? What happens when you’re irritable? Can you keep going when you’re dog tired? Can you still go when all around you are giving up and telling you not to? That’s exactly when to persist, to push on through. I call it “Alchemy of Transcendence” – when you’re in that zone, that’s when pure, unadulterated magic happens.

Live the Dream

I encourage all to begin living the dream. To give up trying to achieve a particular goal or physical manifestation, rather to let these become the effects of your own bounteous causality, the infinite potential of You…

continually unfolding and expressing the awesome majesty that you are.

Each of you is totally unique. Each of you has an expression which no one else can accurately copy. You came into incarnation for a reason: to express something which no one else can. And the whole universe is conspiring to help you reveal it. Who are you, now in this moment? From the very simplest of expressions to the grandest earth shattering ones, what’s the greatest that you can be?…

from my heart to yours
