“Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality.” ~ Martin Luther King
We are deep within an historical moment of mythic proportionswhere not only does the Light loom large, but the Shadow also, in a revealing, disclosing, ‘apocalyptic’ dance of ideological enmeshmentand uncertain outcome. The titanic struggle to reboot the patriarchal worldview into a worldview kinder, sacred and more honouring to all the people of the Earth and to the Earth itself, is occurring on numerous fronts simultaneously across the planet.
It feels like we are reaching some kind of ‘point of no return’, which millions are unaware of and unprepared for, but which heralds the descent into a transmutational dark night of the soul for the collective, out of which will come a renewed understanding of who we really are, and how dependent upon each other and the Earth we truly are for our wellbeing. We will discover at last what makes humanity truly human, and what it is to be ‘human’, on the other side of so much turning away and of what is currently a defacement of our humanity as we witness grave inhumanity at large.
We will come to realize that we are interconnected and interdependent after all, just as themystics have always said and leading-edge physicists tell us now, and we will recognize these far more deeply than we imagined we could, or thought we would even need to. We will find we need one another, and weary of propaganda, ‘necessary’ war and destruction at last, we will learn to stand up for ourselves and reclaim the resources we have entrusted to untrustworthy authority figures, and that they have trashed for spurious gain. We will learn to reach out and to love again, and to remember we are connected to everything and everyone, always and intimately.
And we will remember from deep within ourselves that ‘what goes on over there’ is not independentof ‘what goes on over here’ because we will feel it to be so.
The Age of Separation and of operating as if in vacuum is coming to a head, as we come to connect the dots in the blaze of expanded feelings and social media exposure, and as the various crises, lies, and propaganda reach into our own communities, lives and futures, demanding our attention and care.
BEING BROKEN OPEN
This writer has been broken open countless times in the last weeks over appalling events occurring in Gaza, with the faces and bodies of over 1200 deaths, injuries to 2,000 children, 1,170 women, and 257 elderly (as at 29 July 2014)…swimming in her thoughts and lancing through heart. Her heart has been broken open by the senseless deaths of the passengers of Malaysian MH17 and the geopolitical tool it has become to escalate the re-started Cold War between the US (and its compliant partners, the UK, the EU, Australia, NZ, etc), versus an increasingly demonized and sanctioned Russia, so that American hegemonic dominance of oil, gas, resources and US fiat currency can continue their global strangleholds at all costs. This writer has been in shock as lie upon lie screamed through mainstream media for the hearts and minds of human beings, to buy their complicity and assent in the jockeying for strategy in the relentless race for empire at the expense of all else.
We have entered a surreal, hyper-state of affairs, and it is becoming increasingly clear to many that what is occurring is doing so at such high (yet deeply covert) levels, with billions of your taxpayer dollars backing up the execution of these weapons and plans, and with the people, THE PEOPLE, mere pawns and ‘collateral damage’ in these too-fast-unfolding, colliding, dizzying events….wherever in the world they are happening (and being engineered). It is as if the historical record is being obliterated so that people cannot remember who did what, when….even if it was only a few months ago. And you are funding it all.
The point here is that these powers will stop at nothing to ensure what they want. And the fact is, they don’t care about ‘the people’ despite their rhetoric. They don’t care whether your air is fit to breathe, or your water safe to drink, or your food is safe to eat, or how many civilians are bombed to smithereens in the countless theatres of war worldwide, and those emergent.
Did you know…….
90 percent of the large fish in the oceans are gone, there is ten times as much plastic as phytoplankton in the oceans, 97 percent of native forests are destroyed, 98 percent of native grasslands are destroyed, amphibian populations are collapsing, migratory songbird populations are collapsing, mollusc populations are collapsing, fish populations are collapsing, and so on. Two hundred species are driven extinct each and every day. If we don’t know those statistics and trends, we should.
This culture destroys landbases…And it won’t stop doing so because we ask nicely.
We don’t live in a democracy. And before you gasp at this blasphemy, ask yourself: Do governments better serve corporations or living beings? Does the judicial system hold CEOs accountable for their destructive, often murderous acts?
Do the rich face the same judicial system as you or I? Does life on earth have as much standing in a court as does a corporation?
We all know the answers to these questions. ~ Aric McBay, Lierre Keith, Derrick Jensen
NOT IN MY NAME
In this age of authority passing away from the customary ‘leaders’, it is the people themselves that have stepped into the vacuum, and it is they who are protesting in the thousands worldwide, posting on social media, praying, filming and writing, etc……because they love and care enough. There’s nothing coming from any of these governments or their financial backers and compliant media machines that say anything about ‘the people’ and what might assist humanity and the Earth beyond slogans and Orwellian double-think.
If you ‘follow the money’, ‘follow the oil and gas’, ‘follow the land grabs’……….you will find it’s the same people, their companies and their government lapdogs.
Their actions speak for themselves, and in the same way that they are not speaking for civilians but justifying their deaths instead, they are not speaking for you when they allow fracking, GMOs, drones, muzzling of your journalists, cuts to independent media, fake budget emergencies that have those that can least afford it doing the ‘heavy lifting’ whilst corporates continue to receive bailouts in the billions (or while your country’s Treasurer tells another country’s leader that there is no budget emergency in their country, even though they are trying to ‘sell one’ in their home country to ram home austerity packages, as happened in Australia just last week), or gas and fracking licenses are handed over on stealing/occupying another’s lands (as with the Ukraine and the Golan Heights most recently).
Always you must ask yourself:
- Who has motive? What is the motive for sacrificing children and human beings, environments, rights, and in whose name and for what ideology/reason is it being done?
- How do these ideologies and reasons reflect who I am, who I want to be, and the world I want to live in?
- What is the corporate-controlled mainstream media propagandizing about this time on behalf of party lines, and involving my assent, my name, resources and the taxes I pay?
- What am I really funding, and for whom? Who benefits?
- How does this affect freedom, sovereignty and justice for both myself and my children, and their future?
- Why are they cutting back on education, health, pensions, scientific research, independent media, bank regulations, environmental protections when they are handing over billions in taxpayer dollars for corporate bailouts?
- Why are they signing a ‘free trade agreement’ in complete secrecy?
- Who are their political donors, and how are they benefiting from the taxpayer dollars that I pay and that has been removed from essential services that I value?
Why ask yourself these things? Because it’s your children, resources, money, land, and futurethat they’re manipulating and affecting…and that they use as ‘collateral damage’ to their own aims.
Ask yourself if what is being done in your name, with your ‘vote’ and with your money, will result inpeace, in clean water and air, fertile land, press freedom, good food, right human relations, right use of resources for the people, intelligent infrastructure, in LIFE.
Steel yourself to NOT let go of the wheel and hand over even more of the power that these groups are busy grabbing in the most covert ways imaginable. There are huge ‘tests’ going on worldwide now (at Universities and theatres of war simultaneously) with regard to the management of social media, your thoughts, emotions, and of dissent, too.
The only real check against corruption is vigilance. That was the death of republics: they thought the system was enough to protect them, that they didn’t need to be involved. Citizens let go of the rope, nobody voted, nobody got educated on the complexities of governing. And the corporations moved in. Nichols Soutter
We are talking about groups who have at their disposal vast amounts of power and money through what happened when too many of us were sleeping and they rigged their heavily concentrated banking systems, directorships, ‘trade agreements’, lobby groups and thinktanks, and of course, corporate-controlled media. They drive out dissenters, and they relentlessly supply the narrative of the ‘good guys and the bad guys’, who to vote for, ‘budget emergencies’, and plant seeds in the minds of less critically-thinking types to guarantee compliance so that these agendas can continue unhindered but funded by YOU.
They take money away from you, your children, education, health and they give it to their backers.
They destroy environments for short-term gain and hand them over to foreign investors who contribute nothing to your country’s economy, or nothing in terms of opportunities for you and your children.
“I don’t know about you, but I didn’t become an environmentalist because someone made a rational argument that convinced me that the planet was in danger. I became an environmentalist out of love and pain: love for the world and its beauty and the grief of seeing it destroyed. It was only because I was in touch with these feelings that I had the ears to listen to evidence and reason and the eyes to see what is happening to our world. I believe that this love and this grief are latent in every human being. When they awaken, that person becomes an environmentalist.” ~ Charles Eisenstein
And it doesn’t have to be about becoming ‘an environmentalist’ either. There are any number of vacuums to fill for yourself, your children and the future….if you love, if you feel, if your heart breaks open enough.
We can only do this and be this if we are willing to see, hear and feel enough…..and be changed by what we see, hear and feel into someone more empathic, compassionate and motivated than we may be right now.
Are these killing games not the litmus tests of our own ‘humanity’ and what it means to be human? To feel? To be Conscious? To be awake, alive, sentient?
Does it matter ‘whose side you are on’, when the end results are these? Does Empathy take sides?
What does looking away reflect about one’s ‘humanity’, or the lack thereof? Is it really ‘their karma’ when everything and everyone affects everything and everyone else?
Are these events not reflections of something greater that we are not seeing, hearing? The things we cannot feel, that we don’t want to feel and wish would go away? That we have yet to fully mature into, and be deepened into? Can we put these people, faces and events in a box and hope that they stay there, so that they no longer affect us, or our share portfolios?
How much violence is enough violence? When will we grow sufficiently weary of violence as a solution and turn our hearts to care for one another enough? Will enough of us choose empathyand make a difference to the current, global trajectory today, or will it be tomorrow? Will we reach out to ‘the other’ and transcend the death machine based on our imagined separation from one another?
What is it going to take to transmute what is occurring except our own radical personal transformation, enough Love, and our engagement…….to reflect the Oneness we sometimes so easily speak of? What is Oneness?
What might a Planetary Culture based upon Love look like? How does one begin to create it?
I said: what about my eyes ?
He said: Keep them on the road.
I said: What about my passion ?
He said: Keep it burning.
I said: What about my heart ?
He said: Tell me what you hold inside it ?
I said: Pain and sorrow.
He said: Stay with it. The wound is the place where the Light enters you. ~ Rumi
ALL IS A MIRROR
We are in a huge, apocalyptic shift. We have an awakening global population that has the trashers deeply worried and working the propaganda machines over time. The awakening global population is made up of people who feel, people who love, people who care, people who are engaged..and this is wonderful.
We need to keep going and to see how it’s all connected because we need each other now…..because enough Love must return to our hearts. Because there is a ‘clear and present danger’ in the unregulated, trashing-train called Corporatocracy…and something else on the horizon, if you are able to read the signs. To pretend it’s not there is foolish and it is to also miss the evolutionary, mythic moment of your own becoming and of the potential awakening into a better-functioning planetary society…a New Earth. It is to be consciously or unconsciously complicit in agendas that will affect the wellbeing of both humanity and the earth, in real-time.
Quantum physicists and mystics alike tell us that everything is connected, and that our thoughts and emotions impact the Universal Intelligence. Because everything is connected, we are all the co-creators of our past, present and futures. As such, we are responsible for what is going to show up in our future, too, and we are laying the groundwork now of our children’s future.
What is within, is without……….and all is a mirror. The more we run from the shadows, the larger they become: Are they not large enough now?
We are called to take deep personal responsibility as part of reclaiming lost power and creativity. Power that has been surrendered through patriarchal cultural conditioning, religious conditioning and the deterministic worldview, amongst other elements….and that keep us split, disconnected, docile, separated and imagining we operate in a vacuum. We need to face the toxic beliefs that no longer serve us and that are within the dominator worldview and recognize that the disconnection lives within. As long as it lives within, it will also exist without. Only radical personal transformationcan move us to where we need to go next in the evolutionary trajectory.
We have all heard it said, ‘Never again’ when speaking of atrocities long past, and yet these thingsare happening again.
“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. ~ Edmund Burke
THE REVOLUTION IS LOVE
These crises are about LOVE. The lack of LOVE.Engaged Love. The kind of Love we have when a loved one is ill. We stop at nothing, don’t we, so that they can be well. The kind of Love we have when we speak of wanting the best for our children. These are the small but life-changing acts we perform in the service of the Love we feel for those dear to us.
…LOVE is Revolution.
…LOVE is revolutionary.
…The Revolution is about LOVE, and loving enough.
This is a Worldview Crisis and an opportunity to establish a far greater, more loving, connected, abundant Worldview in which to nest and to thrive. We can choose to move beyond a Worldview based on separation, and on conquest. Separation from our feelings, separation from the knowledge that we are connected to one another at the deepest, most intrinsic levels of our Beings. There is no separation. We ARE One.
The Revolution is LOVE because the crisis is about what happens when there is a lack of Love by enough people to create a wasteland. Think about it. We are witnessing a polarized, split humanity that has forgotten we ARE one another’s keepers. It is about loving enough to do something in the name of those civilians, and in the name of clean air, clean water and a clean earth for our children. It’s about wondering who will stand up for you or will come to stand with you when the trashers decide they want to come frack your land. Either you value the Great Barrier Reef, or not. Either you value the Colorado River, or not. Either you value Life, or not.
What we neither value nor love enough, gets trashed. It’s as simple and as daunting and powerful as that.
Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, they send forth a tiny ripple of hope….These ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. Robert F Kennedy
We have great power within and can access great creativity, freedom, imagination, connection, compassion, care and Love. These are powerful, healing and revolutionary states. They form the new worldview and help us to articulate what we want and enable us to act, when we love enough.
These are powerful, healing and revolutionary times. If enough of us love, we can build a critical mass and we can realize the potential for a Sacred Worldview. Because we are Consciousness Itself, we are one Its Power and Intelligence. We are limitless. We can make the necessary changes if we recognize who we are and we love enough.
The moment does now ruthlessly ask us what we are made of, what we want, what stories we tell ourselves about our imagined powerlessness, victimization and hoped-for salvation by outside agencies or, even, by pretending nothing is going on. It impels us into what really matters and what we really value, and whether we can forge the personal dignity, respect and Love to draw lines and boundaries. It confronts us into the discomfort of facing and transforming ourselves and of consciousness-raising to overhaul internalized, enshrined victimization, and to steer our ship other than along its current, destructive trajectory.
All the foregoing is beckoning for a humanity caring, connected and mature enough to step into a more responsive role.
This moment is ruthlessly bringing to light where we have fooled ourselves and where we have given power away en masse. It has far too many believing in war as a peace-and-freedom-enabling strategy, or something going on ‘over there’. There is no ‘other there’, just like there is no ‘them’.
These old, old powers are angling for another Cold War, and perhaps more (as per the Wolfowitz Doctrine and others). Observe, and you will see how they are moving the chess pieces around right now, and you will see it reflected in their rhetoric in what is a well-worn script and well laid-out in the public domain. And yes, there is great Light to expose these machinations, but it is not over yet.
The sooner more of us wake up to these violations of our trust, the sooner we can reclaim so much of what has been lost, and that is currently at stake. The sooner we can articulate a vision of what we value, the sooner more of us will get up off our knees. So, if you pray, pray that the hearts of humanity awaken and the hearts of global leaders soften. If you petition, petition some more. If you are a legislator, ram it on home. If you are a gardener, plant good seeds. If you love clean air, water and land, stand up for them.
The crisis is Love…
The revolution is Love..
The solution is Love…
Love is the Key to all of this.
