Source: Russell Brand
Don’t let Russell Brands “casual” attire stop you from taking this video seriously. He makes some great points — like how our society is so obsessed with sexually-related media that even a conservative news source like Fox stopped their “war mongering” long enough to dive into a “50 Shades of Grey”-Inspired poll of people’s willingness to engage in S&M.
And he addresses some deep questions about how porn affects our ability to have authentic, loving sexual relations. I for one, respect his ability to be so nakedly honest about his own habits (check out 6:50 where he pretty much admits to still having a porn addiction by saying it’s something he “hasn’t been able to make a longterm commitment to not looking at”).

I love Russell Brand — he’s always smack on the button! It reminds me of a book review blog I did with an author who was addicted to porn and tells his story of awakening and freeing himself from it (here’s the link for anyone who is interested, it’s called ‘Shining a Light on Sensuality and Sexuality’): http://cherieroedirksen.com/2014/08/13/shining-a-light-on-sensuality-and-sexuality/)
There is also a great TedX talk at the end by Sheila Kelly called ‘Let’s Get Naked’ that every man and woman should watch.
