The guys at ASAP Science take on a pretty sober subject this week and give us a serious look at what would happen if we had a nuclear war. Since the world is nowhere near total political stability, and even smaller countries own a sizable stock of A-bombs, this seems like something worth looking at and knowing about – if only to be more pro-peace in a highly informed way.
The short, clear video above addresses issues like thermal radiation burns and the fact that most initial deaths would be from collapsing structures. It also looks at fatality rates, fall out, and the potential genetic mutations and increases in cancer.
