What Would REALLY Happens If We Had a Nuclear War — and How to Survive One (Video)

The guys at ASAP Science take on a pretty sober subject this week and give us a serious look at what would happen if we had a nuclear war. Since the world is nowhere near total political stability, and even smaller countries own a sizable stock of A-bombs, this seems like something worth looking at and knowing about – if only to be more pro-peace in a highly informed way.

The short, clear video above addresses issues like thermal radiation burns and the fact that most initial deaths would be from collapsing structures. It also looks at fatality rates, fall out, and the potential genetic mutations and increases in cancer.

Watch and be informed.

And then watch this video on how to survive a nuclear war (also from our science-minded friends at ASAP) as it truly is possible (if you're not in the thick of it).
