“I masturbated today…” is how sexologist Martha Tara Lee from Singapore starts off her video segments detailing the 30 day journey she took in orgasmic yoga.

Founded by Joseph Kramer, a body based sex educator, orgasmic yoga is a branch of erotic yoga that focuses on practices that can be done while sexually aroused.

On the main website it says of the practice:

“Orgasmic Yoga often produces a state of arousal that is free of fantasy, unfinished emotional business, religious dogma, cultural caveats and habitual sexual behaviours. In this erotic trance state, an individual becomes aware of the body as a source of wisdom, happiness and freedom.”

Weaving together the heart and genitals, orgasmic yoga is practiced to help people discover what really and truly arouses them. Participants attempt to stray from artificial turn-ons, or turn-ons that are influenced by other outside factors. Some are drawn to the practice because they want to reawaken sexual feelings, while others do it to discover those feelings for the first time.

To fully embrace orgasmic yoga, it is recommended that you follow a plan of practicing 30 minutes for 30 days. Lee says this commitment is important because “getting out of your head and into your body” takes the full 30 days.

Orgasmic Yoga is a lesson in how to rekindle the relationship between you and your sexuality.

Some people find it difficult to “get off” themselves without the use of external aids like pornography, so hopefully erotic yoga can help you recognize what your potential for pleasure is.

So, while the first step is discerning what gives you the coveted authentic sexual pleasure, the second step would be communicating what really gets you going to your partner.

  2. Narcissistic yoga leads to orgasm yoga! People who get aroused by the sight of their own Naked body! I do my yoga in the dark! Same results! Lol

    • I’m not narcissistic.. but I am A-sexual and find my self sexually attractive.. you don’t have to be narcissistic to be like that.

    • Jacob Mitchell I thought A sexual was someone who does not desire sex? I would not think of this article as narcissistic. It kind of reminds me of a large group of people getting together for a orgasmic experience. When I think of yoga I think of groups. I don’t know. Lol. People do this stuff but I think it’s odd.

  11. the goal and summum of yoga is about communion with the Supreme. the Soul as an erotic aspect to but I would call it tantric more then yogic on the consciousness platform humans are. everything we do in the material reality is a denaturation of what we do in the spiritual world.

  12. Marta, bora experimentar? Disse que um dia gostava..

The most common yoga pose to enhance sexual pleasure is a posture that can be done anywhere. It involves contracting and releasing the muscles of your pubic area as if you want to stop the flow or urine. You can do this 10 times, holding to a count of five each time.
