Dream-inducing herbs have been traditionally used for thousands of years for divine worship and healing. All three of the ones I recommend are really amazing, so watch the video or keep reading!
Yep, you heard me correctly there are herbs you can use to increase, enhance and induce lucid dreaming!
Herbs used for dreaming are called oneirogens or just simply dream herbs.
“Oneirogen is a word that means any substance, herb, food, practice or drug that induces a dream like state.”
So, Here are my Top 3 Herbs for Lucid Dreaming:
#3. Mugwort(Artemisia vulgaris) – Used by Europeans for hundreds of years, mugwort is used as a bitter tonic for the stomach and is the most well known herb for dreaming. The herb is used for increasing lucidity and dream recollection.
#2. Xhosa Dream Root(Silene capensis) – Silene Capensis, also known as undlela ziimhlophe by the Xhosa people of the Eastern Cape province of South Africa and has been used for thousands of years by African shamans. The plant is highly regarded as a sacred teacher plant fro dreaming and has been traditionally used with respect, intention and devotion.
#1. Dream Herb(Calea zacetechichi)–
Used by the Chontal Natives of Mexico to Divine, Worship and heal. The leaf is said to give great clarity to one's dreams, as if you were speaking to god.
“Dream Herb can clarify the senses and help give one a sense of euphoria!”
Now that you know how to maximize your lucid dreaming potential, it is time to put it to the test! I suggest trying one of these herbs with some intention, before bed practice and a dream journal by your bedside. You may find that one of these herbs works better for you then another. Many of these herbs have a cumulative effect, so don’t dash your efforts before giving them a try for a few days!
