A Justice System Broken: How Kids From Poor Neighborhoods Are Being Groomed For Prison

Alice Goffman gives an incredibly eye opening and emotional TED talk on the injustice forced upon minority kids simply because of where they live. She makes a lot of good points when comparing the life that kids being groomed for college live versus the life kids being groomed for prison experience. Is this the kind of “justice” we've succumbed to where filling cells in penitentiaries matter more than educating and counseling kids? Watch this incredible video!

    There is a well-known saying among people throughout prison system for more than 30 years since, that “If you walk like a duck, dress like duck, talk like duck, eat like duck, watch the same TV like duck, and hang around among ducks; then you are duck” So, what is so surprise about all these poor neighborhoods or the ghettos?
