Burning Man – an annual festival held in Black Rock City  — is known for its amazing art installations. Artists sometimes work year-round before the event to bring their beautiful, often enormous creations to the festival.
This year, one stand out piece of art taught everyone a spiritual lesson in a way no words or lectures could.
The exquisite, larger-than-life sculpture, entitled simply “Love,” was created by Alexandr Milov from Odessa, Ukraine.
The video above shows the love that everyone showed the piece as they interacted with it during the festival and the quote below from the facebook page Free and Equal, beautifully describes the deeply emotional effect of the piece:
“One of the most powerful art pieces at Burning Man this year: the sculpture of two adults fighting, backs to one another…yet the inner child in them both just wants to connect and love one another. Age has so many beautiful gifts, but one that I could live without is the pride and resentment we hold onto when we are in conflict with others. The forgiving, open and free spirit of children IS OUR TRUE NATURE; and I know I'll be remembering this next time I'm feeling stubborn.”

At night, the children inside the adult figures light up, a lovely choice that may have been necessitated by the need to help people see the sculpture in the dark desert nights of the festival. Still, it works on a symbolic level, perhaps asking us to allow the light of our inner child to shine bright and lead us.
In any case, the sculpture speaks volumes in a simple and elegant way, and we thank Alexandr Milov for creating and sharing this incredibly conscious piece of art.

So true, you may be turned away from each other(in fear, in anger and resentnent) and altogether reclusive but your inner child will always reach for another’s in hopes to reconnect; to mend what’s broken

First love (memories often from an early age). People go their seperate ways, and put events and people behind them, but where love is concerned , people find it hard to let go (of even just a memory) of that person they left behind. A childhood longing for re-unitement
