I’m Delusional, and Proud of It. Are You?

I’m Delusional, and Proud of It. Are You?  was originally published on Raise Your Vibration Today.

When you learn about the Law of Attraction, you are likely to bump up against some friction, especially with friends and family. Suddenly making the shift to be more positive can create some unique dynamics within your personal relationships. I’ve found that in a number of my relationships, others have come to believe I’m delusional. Perhaps you’ve had a similar experience.

The reason why people often think followers of the Law of Attraction are delusional is because these people are usually very aware of what is currently going on in their realities. They are very tied to “what is” rather than “what could be.”

They see poverty, hunger, illness, violence and inequality in our world, and they point to it and say “Look! This is why we should worry/be upset/be realistic. Don’t you see what’s going on here?”

Then, unfortunately, their focus on these problems creates more of these problems.

With the Law of Attraction, what you focus on expands.  This expansion of problems creates more reasons to justify why we shouldn’t be happy or optimistic. It’s a never-ending cycle.

The thing is though, in order to transform your reality you must begin to look at it differently.  You actually NEED to become a little delusional.  You have to be able to look at the same exact crap as everyone else and find the beauty in it. You have to be able to look at all of the problems in the world and see opportunities instead.

If you are trying to create something you’ve never had and never seen, delusion is your best friend. Delusion allows you to set aside what’s realistic, obvious or likely and really reach for the stars.

Delusion is what drives the Olympic gold medalists, the genius inventors and the men on the moon.  You’ve got to be a little nuts to think these dreams can come true.

So, in the end, the naysayers are right.  If you believe in the Law of Attraction, and if you practice optimism as a daily routine, you ARE delusional.  You choose not to look at things the way they are, but rather in the way you wish them to be.

The next time someone criticizes you for being delusional, or rolls their eyes at your optimism, take it as a sign that you are on the right path.  A little evidence that you are a little “out there” is always a good sign.

Delusion is good.  Be proud of your delusion and embrace it.

It’s the key to your future, but one the pessimists of the world aren’t likely to understand.  Let them think what they want, but hold steady in your own perspective.

No one even told me yet in front of my face that I’m delusional But I believe many people think I do.

    You know what?

I do believe I’m delusional but it’s healthy for my well-being and inner peace.

I don’t mind or think its matter to me on how others perceive about me for who they are. What matter is how I perceive and approach life to serve my own highest good that I’m happy with 🙂

Life is too short to be controlled, judged or labeled by others’ Ego and belief systems 🙂

Of course I’m so proud of it too ! 🙂
