Heat Your Home Using Candles With This Simple Device

Written by on January 22, 2015 in Environment with 1 Comment

“Using candles will never be the same!” say the inventors of the Egloo candle-powered heater. “Heat your room for 10 cents a day!”

The simple device is designed to harness and amplify the heat given off from candles by “taking advantage of features of terracotta that stores the heat and slowly and gradually releases it by radiation, even after it blows out.”

Egloo is able to 3D print the clay molds to offer these fixtures much more affordable than if they had to be hand made.

You can preorder these candle heaters from Egloo's IndieGoGo.
