Facebook Apologizes For Manipulating Your Emotions

Facebook conducted a massive psychological experiment on nearly 700,000 users, manipulating their news feeds to assess the effects on their emotions.    The details of the experiment were published in an article entitled “Experimental Evidence Of Massive-Scale Emotional Contagion Through Social Networks” published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. The short version of the study results is this: Facebook has the ability to make you feel good or bad by tweaking what shows up in your news feed.

    I’m thinking this has more to do with the T.P.P, & justification for across the board internet “regulation”. Interesting.., how they are using the term “contagion”..(!!)

    It would seem obvious they are flexing their ‘mind control’ on the weak minded, who are too apathetic to do their own research. It’s working !

    We should be grateful that they published their research and let us all know that we can be manipulated. This is very important for us to know, so that we can be on the alert for other organizations that manipulate us for their own ends and never tell us. Furthermore, Facebook has every right to do what they did.
