Every day millions of people take energy vitamin supplements to boost their energy and health. Unfortunately, most of them are taking vitamins that are cheaply made and hard to utilize by their body. Most energy vitamins on the market are synthetic and created with the absence of many enzymes, amino acids and synergistic components. Without these extra components, your body has a hard time absorbing and utilizing energy vitamins. Some of these synthetic vitamins can even break down into harmful chemicals.

How to choose the best energy vitamins

One of the first things you should do when choosing a vitamin supplement for energy is to make sure it isn’t full of synthetic vitamins and minerals. Energy vitamin supplements that contain mostly synthetic vitamins and synthetic minerals don’t work as well as natural vitamins found in nature. Most synthetic vitamins aren’t good for boosting energy, because when they are chemically created in labs, they are usually reduced down to one specific crystalline vitamin. As a result, they often don’t have mineral activators, enzymes, co-factors and co-vitamin helpers, which are needed by your body to effectively break down vitamins.

Besides missing many synergistic components, many synthetic vitamins are contaminated with genetically modified organisms (GMOs), especially if they aren’t non-GMO certified and are added with conventional corn and soy byproducts made in the United States. To make matters worse, some of them are added with unhealthy ingredients and contaminated with toxic metals, such as aluminum. B vitamins

B vitamins are great for boosting energy for the reason that they help metabolize carbohydrate, which is one of your body’s main sources of fuel. Most nutritionists believe there are eight vitamins that make up the vitamin B complex. They are B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 and B12. B vitamins are essential for increasing your energy, because they work together in your body to boost metabolism, assist cell growth, enhance the immune system and keep muscles healthy. The lack of B vitamins can cause dizziness, memory problem, immune disorders and fatigue. One of the best B vitamin supplements for energy is called MegaFood Balanced B Complex.

Vitamins and magnesium

Some nutritionists like to call magnesium as the “spark of life” mineral. If you understand the critical role that magnesium plays in energy production, you should realize why some nutritionists like to refer to it as the “spark of life” mineral. Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body. The magnesium in the human body is involved in over 300 enzymatic and metabolic reactions. As a result, when you lack magnesium, your body have a hard time producing energy.

Since magnesium plays such a critical role in energy production, vitamin supplements that contain high quality magnesium are some of the best energy vitamins on the market.
