Hidden Teachings Of The Bible That Explain Manifestation, Consciousness & Oneness

Video Source: Your Youniverse

These hidden Bible teachings are words that Jesus spoke and Didymus Judas Thomas wrote down in what is known as The Gospel of Thomas. Within these teachings from Jesus, it explains manifestation, consciousness and oneness. The words themselves are not the secret of these hidden teachings; the secret lies in their interpretation. Gregg Braden offers powerful information as he discusses what was eliminated from the Bible in 325 AD and how you can use the teachings in the discarded text to manifest what you want.

5 Key Points to Ponder if You Want to Realize Your Goals — No. 4 is Vital!

Purple Sunset by Cherie Roe Dirksen

“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” — Paulo Coelho (‘The Alchemist’)

Yip, guess who’s just finished reading this exquisite novel?

And talk about synchronicity! Three days after I had finished reading this profound book by Paulo Coelho (that has been threatening me on my nightstand for months now), I got a surprise e-mail from the editor of Odyssey magazine asking if I’d like to write a column for them (and she mentioned that Paulo Coelho is also writing for the magazine now!).

Well, taking into consideration that I live for synchronous events such as this — I said ‘yes!’

Read more about what synchronicity is here: Why Synchronicity Can Change Your Life and here: How Weird, Little Synchronicities Can Actually Be the Bomb!)

I’m going to let you in on a little secret…

Down the Rabbit Hole of Past Thoughts

Years ago (around 2011 when my first book was published), I used to frequently read Odyssey and Simply Green magazine (both are owned by the same people and I had no idea until she mentioned it in her e-mail) — they were the only 2 publications I ever kept and read over and over (I still have copies in my art studio).

A friend of mine suggested that I should advertise my book in Odyssey magazine as it deals with all things ‘holistic’ to which I replied that I merely could not afford to.

I then let go of the idea and life moved on and I moved house and simply forgot about it. We don’t have any ‘health’ stores (where these specific mags were available in Cape Town) out in the sticks where I live and I haven’t bought one of these magazines for a good couple of years now.

So you can imagine my surprise when years later this happens!

Getting to the Point (yes, yes…it’s coming!)

You never know when your seed is going to culminate. Heck, I didn’t even realize I planted the seed but in reflection, I must have by talking about it and thinking about it.

This specific seed not only grew but multiplied.

This fantastic publication is not only about to run an introductory story (in prelude to my column) mentioning all my books but also gave me a 4 page spread incorporating my art and CD too. I didn’t see that one coming!

Which brings to mind this quote by Joyce Meyer:

“I believe that a trusting attitude and a patient attitude go hand in hand. You see, when you let go and learn to trust God, it releases joy in your life. And when you trust God, you’re able to be more patient. Patience is not just about waiting for something… it’s about how you wait, or your attitude while waiting.”

Or, in my case, just forgetting about it. Which just shows you that the Universe doesn’t forget! We’ve got to be real aware of what we’re putting out there! The good, the bad and the…well, you know.

So this brings me to a few points:

  1. Your thoughts are hooked on clouds that may rain down at any moment or some time in the future — don’t give up on what you want or dream about!
  2. Your patience is required — water those seeds, daydream about your goals. Any form of negative thinking about what you want to manifest will result in drought. Seeds can’t grow in drought, can they?
  3. Your joy is required — through your thoughts you put out what you want. Your job is to live like it’s already happening NOW. Joy is your purpose at any stage in your life. You can, of course, allow yourself some time to feel down or low but always try to endeavor to come back to your bliss.
  4. Your attention is required — you’ve simply got to look out for those synchronous markers! Follow the breadcrumbs to your dreams.
  5. Now You’re Ready — sometimes we’re just not ready for something to materialize. Remember that things happen according to our soul needs and development which is another way for saying ‘divine timing’ (reread point no. 2).

Here are some quotes from The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho for you to ponder:

“People are capable, at any time in their lives, of doing what they dream of.”

“Everything that happens once can never happen again. But everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time.”

“I don’t live in either my past or my future. I’m interested only in the present. If you can concentrate always on the present, you’ll be a happy man. Life will be a party for you, a grand festival, because life is the moment we’re living now.”

“When each day is the same as the next, it’s because people fail to recognize the good things that happen in their lives every day that the sun rises.”

“Intuition is really a sudden immersion of the soul into the universal current of life.”

“Why do we have to listen to our hearts?” the boy asked.
“Because, wherever your heart is, that is where you will find your treasure.”

And last but not least…

“We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity.”

5 Simple Steps to Conquer Doubt, Fear and Limiting Beliefs

limiting beliefs

When you set your intentions to manifest a goal, it’s really important to recognize when doubt, fear and limiting beliefs crop up because that means there’s a misalignment between your thoughts and feelings, and the Universe hears what you FEEL, not what you say.

That’s why, even though you’re consciously focusing your thoughts on your goals and using affirmations and doing all the things you think you should to ensure that you get your outcome, it still doesn’t show up. This leads to frustration which lowers your vibrational frequency, makes you feel even worse and so you end up on a downward spiral.

How do you do recognize that misalignment?

Tune into those feelings of doubt, anxiety or downright fear.

Your mind tells you what you think, your body tells you how you feel.

You might be thinking positive thoughts but if you feel uneasy, uncomfortable or literally “dread-ful”, it means your subconscious is out of alignment and you have some core issues to deal with that are contradicting those thoughts.

In the words of the 60’s hippies “That’s some heavy s&#t man!” It is heavy because it feels heavy.

When you discover you have a core issue associated with your intention, there’s a tendency to beat yourself up about the fact that you’ve still got stuff to deal with and to feel as though you’re never going to get the things you want.

That just makes matters worse and gets you deeper into heaviness, negative energy and low vibrational frequency.

Let me assure you that we all have issues and we’re here on this planet for the purpose of learning and growing; recognizing and addressing our issues is part of the process.

Even people who appear to have a perfect life (looking from the outside) have their own issues. It’s part of being human. When you see someone who appears to be successful in ways that you’re not, it just means that they have different issues. So it doesn’t mean you’re lacking in some way or failing, it’s just part of your journey.

Step 1 Identify the issue

What is it that you’re feeling?

Here are some examples of the common blocks that stop people from manifesting their goals.

Doubts:

  • I can’t do it
  • It’s never going to happen
  • Wondering if you’re doing the right thing
  • Worrying about how to achieve your goal
  • Lacking confidence in your ability to achieve it

Fears:

  • Fear of criticism
  • Fear of failure
  • Fear of rejection
  • Fear of success
  • Fear of rejection
  • Fear of making a mistake
  • Fear of doing the wrong thing
  • Fear of attention

Limiting Beliefs

  • I’m not good enough
  • I’m stupid/not clever enough
  • There’s not enough to go around (scarcity)
  • It’s impossible
  • I’m hopeless at….
  • I’m unworthy/don’t deserve it
  • I’m not lovable
  • I’m too old
  • I’m too young
  • No-one will hire me
  • No-one will buy from me
  • Nothing works for me
  • I’m not qualified

These are just examples of common issues. If you can’t relate to any of these, just take some quiet time to focus inwardly and let the answer come to you. The answer is inside.

Step 2 Let go of resistance

What you resist persists.

When you focus on the problem or issue, you feed it energy and so you continue to manifest it. The more you dwell on it, the more you confirm its existence and the more it manifests.

So how can you get yourself out of this cycle and clear the issue that’s getting in your way?

Instead of feeling guilty, ashamed, embarrassed, angry, annoyed, stressed, worried or any other destructive emotion, begin by letting go of self-judgment, consciously relax and say to yourself:

“That’s interesting, this feeling of (fill in the blanks) has come up (again). I’m really grateful that I’m aware of it because now I can deal with it and resolve it.”

Step 3 Go to the source

Think back to when you’ve experienced this feeling before, and the situations that triggered it. Write the story of how, why and what made you feel this way in each situation.

By acknowledging its existence you’re bringing it into the light for healing.

Just like a child who is afraid of the dark because of the fear of something imagined, once the light is turned on showing there’s nothing there and the thing feared was an illusion; so it is with our fears, doubts and beliefs – by bringing them into the light of day we start to see that they’re just imagined too.

Step 4 Rewrite your story

Use the Power of Neutrality to change your perception of the event. Everything is meaningless until we assign our interpretation to it. It’s not good or bad, it just is.

So that means you can choose how you want to perceive the situations that affected you negatively and create a different story about yourself.

Let me give you an example…

When I was only four years old I was told off in front of the whole school by the head teacher because I had taken in books and toys to be sold at the school fete that had been crayoned or written on, so they were unsaleable. It was the most humiliating experience and devastating for me at such a young age to be told by someone in a position of authority that I was stupid.

This affected me my whole life until I was coached on how this situation could be interpreted differently. My coach saw a completely different story – one of a little girl who had taken responsibility, shown initiative and taken action to complete a request from school – a demonstration of leadership and entrepreneurial qualities. It was not my fault that the head teacher had failed to see this.

Recognizing the truth in this different story lifted a load that I’d been carrying all my life – a load of self-doubt and belief that I wasn’t good enough.

It was also a big aha moment for me to realize that there are multiple possible interpretations of situations like this, and we have the power to choose one that affirms rather than undermines us.

So think about all the alternative interpretations for the situations that have caused your limiting beliefs and self-doubt and rewrite them to demonstrate positive qualities. You can find a positive interpretation of any situation, even if it’s only “I was strong enough to survive and tell the tale”!

It helps to have an objective, non-judgmental observer help you find new perspectives on your stories and you may feel more comfortable if that person isn’t part of family or social circle. That’s one of the benefits of having a coach or mentor who can work through these issues with you and help you find the answers.

Change the I can’t to I can, change impossible to I’m possible, change not good enough to good enough, brave enough, strong enough etc. and use the positive spin on the most impactful story to anchor in the belief.

Step 5 Remember Your Triumphs

If I feel doubt creeping up on me I remind myself of all the times I have been good enough, all the great things people have said about me, the times I’ve managed to do something I thought was impossible, or simply when I’ve found something much easier than I expected.

“Believing is seeing” (future creation) and “seeing is believing” (proof of creation) are both true…

When you have belief in yourself and in the possibility of achieving your goal, the Universe creates the opportunities and synchronicities to make it happen.

When you have a moment of feeling doubt or fear, remember the times when you achieved a goal, no matter how small, despite feeling fearful, anxious or worried. See them in your mind’s eye – visualizing relives them as if they are happening now, and your brain will register the experience and create a new belief based on this experience. It is undeniable evidence that your doubt, fear or limiting beliefs are just an illusion with no power and that you can conquer them, as you’ve conquered many challenges before.

Rinse and Repeat

You can use this technique each time you feel the presence of a fear, doubt or limiting belief. Make it part of your daily routine for those that are surfacing frequently and you’ll retrain your brain, creating a new empowered belief system that supports you in achieving your goals.

How to Flex Your Psychic Muscle to CHANGE Your Life Right Now!

You wouldn’t go to the gym with the aim of getting in shape, but stop after a few weeks and say, “There, I’m done now. All set!”

The same applies to strengthening your psychic muscle. Building that often atrophied ability is an ongoing process, but according to my guest, author and renowned paranormal researcher Rosemary Ellen Guiley, once you commit to a continuous practice of building your psychic strength, you can use it to consciously and proactively affect all aspects of your life.

In our chat about using “practical magic” to positively influence your life, we discussed ideas like meditation and how everyone who has an interest in utilizing their paranormal faculty must make some form of meditation a regular part of the psychic work-out. But she didn’t just give the same ‘ole, same ‘ole about meditative practices that we typically hear about, oh no. Rosemary shared some secrets on how to do more engaged or active meditation to conjure the results we’re looking for, and in some cases, even bring about psychic effects while engaged in the actual meditation itself.

What about finances? Who isn’t interested in learning how to increase their abundance? Can we wield our psychic ability to multiply the digits in our bank accounts? According to Rosemary, the answer is absolutely yes! But is there a specific formula for doing this? Rosemary lends great insight to this big question.

Watch/Listen to the full interview HERE or below

We also addressed the use of mirrors, crystals, and other tools to beef up our psychic practice. I for one have always been interested in just why mirrors and other reflective surfaces have been known to open doorways or portals to other (spiritual) dimensions. The explanation she offers simply amazed me!

Lastly, we cover the importance of protecting ourselves from psychic “attack.” Now that our extra-sense is primed and ready to put to work, how can we use it to shield ourselves from unwanted outside influences?

Indeed, this interview is packed with great info. that you can put to work right now!

How to Use Vision Boards to Help You Manifest Your Dreams

If you have never heard of a vision board before, it is simply a board that you can reference to reinforce some message about yourself or your goals.

The official definition is:

“a collage of images and words representing a person’s wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration or motivation.”

In general, you place information and pictures on your vision board that represents aspects of your life. It could be personal, professional, or both. You can have separate vision boards for personal and professional purposes if you wish.

The Pros and Cons of Vision Boards

One of the most significant benefits of a vision board is you can refer to it whenever you need inspiration or an aspect of your life changes in some way. You can update the board to reflect those changes.

Another pro (but possibly also a con) is that you can put whatever you want on a vision board. That’s great, but if it doesn’t help you with your goals, it may not be as beneficial to have it on the board. In fact, it could hinder your progress as it takes up prime real estate on your board. Nothing is set in stone on your board, however. If you find something on your board that isn’t working, take it down.

Vision boards are not for everyone. Some people find them to be a waste of time. They spend lots of time finding items to place on the boards and then never refer to them again. They could have spent their time more productively.

How To Get Started With Vision Boards

It’s easy to get started with creating your vision boards. You can find everything you need at art stores, office supply stores, Amazon.com and even stores like Dollar General. I recently got a pack of poster boards from Dollar General for only $4 and that included 3 poster boards and self-adhesive letters for adding words to your vision board. You can find a selection of poster boards, shapes and letters at https://amzn.to/2V3v2fP* to give you ideas, even if you buy your supplies from somewhere else.

Your vision boards need to be placed where you can look at them frequently, to remind you of the goals you are aiming for or the things you want to manifest in your life. When you choose your poster boards, make sure you get a size that will fit in the place you intend to display them.

You can use colored pens, pencils or brush pens to add color to your vision board or to add words if you don’t want to use ready-made adhesive letters – you can find a wide choice to fit every budget at Amazon – check them out at https://amzn.to/2LgPCor*.

You’ll also need some glue to stick the pictures to your board – stick (pardon the pun!) to artists glue or school glue as you don’t need it to be too strong – https://amzn.to/2LgPCor*.

Search the internet for images that represent what you want to achieve or manifest and print them. You can also look through magazines that feature what you want and cut out the pictures that most closely represent your desires.

Before you start sticking the pictures to your board, arrange them so that everything that you want to include will fit.

Get creative with your vision boards because the more you get your creative juices flowing the more you’ll develop your ability to visualize what you want to create, which is a powerful way of attracting what you desire into your life.

If you want a more portable version of vision boards, you can create a vision book. When I moved from the UK to the US I created a vision book so I could take it with me on my travels. You just need a binder and you can create a separate page for each of your intentions. Just stick your pictures onto plain paper and use your colored pens to add writing, or you can create each page on your computer with words and pictures and then print them. Easy!

Are vision boards an effective tool for helping you believe in yourself?

One use of vision boards is to place accomplishments on them. It’s easy to forget about events and achievements that happened earlier in our lives. Keeping spots on the vision board dedicated to them will serve as a reminder. Think back to what you accomplished in high school and college and everything you’ve done since then, right up to the present day. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at what you’ve achieved and it’ll be a big boost to your self-confidence.

Having a constant reminder of your accomplishments helps to strengthen your belief in yourself. Each accomplishment will help you remember what you went through to get it and this can help you with your future accomplishments. Going through this exercise will give you the confidence to tackle anything you set out to do.

How to Get the Most Out Of Your Vision Boards

There are no right or wrong answers when creating a vision board. It just needs to work for you. If it doesn’t, you should figure out why and adjust as you see fit.

Vision boards need to be placed where you are able to see them as often as possible. Think about where you spend most of your time. If you are at home most of the day, place them in the room that you occupy the most. If you are out most of the day, you can hang them in your bedroom so you can study them when you wake in the morning and before you go to sleep at night. By studying them before you sleep, you will activate your subconscious mind to work on ways to manifest your intentions and will wake with inspired ideas about the action you can take to bring them into your life.

If you travel a lot, create a vision book as I suggested above, so you can study it while you’re on the move or staying away from home.

Visualization is one of the most powerful ways to accelerate the manifestation of your desires and having a vision board to regularly remind you of what you want to create in your life will keep you on the right track to achieving your dreams.

The Number Nine is Truly Divine – Here’s Why!

You don’t need to study Nature for very long before figuring out that there is a mathematical structure for everything. From flowers to seashells to hurricanes to our own Milky Way Galaxy, there resides the Fibonacci sequence spiral; the Golden Ratio of Phi which demonstrates a perfect order emanating from a single point and is what even allows leaves to grow on plants so perfectly spaced as to give each the best shot at being exposed to sunlight.

Math can even be found in every religion and in this aspect exists as the more commonly termed “Sacred Geometry” when it comes to correlating mathematical forms and formulations with that of Divine Creation. The one specific representation of creation in Sacred Geometry is called The Flower of Life pattern (which begins with the Seed of Life pattern) and is also where Phi is derived from.

Geometric patterns can, of course, be represented numerically and if we take the simple shapes from these patterns and study basic mathematical measurements such as radius, diameter, circumference, etc. we can find something very strange about one particular number if we just look close enough.

You could even say there is a code hidden right before our very eyes within the language of our universe; the language of mathematics (and sound, but let’s save that for another article). And it just so happens that the very last number in our common base 10 system, the number 9, has many qualities that no other numbers possess. For starters, when you begin to bisect a circle, we see 9 at every cut.

Let’s take a look…

  • A circle is 360 degrees: 3+6+0=9
  • A circle divided in half is 180 degrees: 1+8+0=9circle
  • This will be true as well for all reductions including 45-degree angles within a circle as well as 90-degree angles: (45 degrees) 4+5=9, (90 degrees) 9+0=9, (135 degrees) 1+3+5=9, (225 degrees) 2+2+5=9, (270 degrees) 2+7+0=9, (315 degrees) 3+1+5=9
  • It will continue if we add the 30-degree cuts together as well, for example: (60 degrees + 30 degrees) 6+0+3+0=9. Or (210 degrees + 240 degrees) 2+1+0+2+4+0=9

A scientist by the name of Marko Rodin has stated that Vortex-Based Mathematics can solve Pi and prove it to be a whole, recurring pattern such as a loop. He demonstrates this through numerous experiments with his Rodin Coil invention based on the shape of a torus (which is an infinite, rotating, donut-shaped loop) which represents regularities in the decimal (base 10) numerical system that have not yet been previously documented. toroid_color

Due to the central wires in the Rodin Coil, a magnetic field is created in the center of the torus and currently, this has proven useful for motors, electromagnets, and antennae which of course the U.S. Government has taken a vast interest in.

There are also medical devices being used to help treat cancer patients based on Rodin’s technology. (source: markorodin.com) Many speculate that the Rodin Coil reignites the hope for free energy and in my personal opinion based on what I’ve studied of his work, he could very well be the Nikola Tesla of our time.

When so many undeniable patterns are found within and so many tangible connections can be made between energy, the fabric of our very universe and the spiral to and from infinite creation, we would be rather naïve to deny that there are answers hidden in these vast mathematical mysteries. And for anyone who has seen the Matrix movies, you will get where I’m going when I say that what is going on with the number 9, and the fractal patterns in nature and reality, is perhaps a simulation, a holographic projection of time-space and perhaps all that ever truly exists in our perceptions.

I’m a firm believer that we create our own reality; therefore I must entertain the idea that we are conscious creators within a hyperspace program of sorts. A program that is both organic and artificial design if you will, all wrapped up in our cosmic playground begging for our discovery of and awakening to the magic just waiting around every 90-degree corner.

5 Ways to Raise Your Self-Confidence

Most people enter this world carrying bountiful levels of self-confidence, but it is often eroded over time due to the experiences we have during our upbringing. Low self-confidence develops from low self-esteem and not having a high level of self-worth.

If you haven’t laid the foundation of self-confidence during childhood you can increase your levels of self-confidence with life experiences and some personal development work.

Let’s take a closer look at the meaning of self-confidence.

What is Self-Confidence?

The word confidence means to have a sense of certainty or truth about something. Are some people born with it? Being born with a foundation of self-confidence is normal. We all start with a foundation of self-confidence. Think about how children are confident enough to demand what they want from their parents or friends.

Sadly this is often destroyed by experiences that undermine them, usually because of their treatment by authority figures such as their parents, relatives or teachers

Restoring belief in one’s self or self-confidence does not happen overnight. It takes place through a series of exercises or experiences that feed your feeling of self-worth. These exercises are not a one-time occurrence. They must be repeated with consistency and commitment to undo the damage that has been done to your innate self-confidence.

Let’s take a look at five ways to boost your self-confidence.

Practice Positive Thinking

Nothing builds self-confidence like positive thinking. Positive thinking enables you to believe in yourself and your ability to reach your highest potential. Positive thinkers are optimistic about the world, other people and especially themselves. You can read more about how to become a positive thinker in my previous article Become a Negative-Thinking Turnaround Expert.

Be Comfortable with Your Strengths and Acknowledge Your Weaknesses

You might think that the person with self-confidence is highly intelligent, rarely wrong, and without any faults. However, this is not the case. Confident individuals know their strengths and overtime, build on those strengths, but they also recognize their weaknesses and seek help when necessary. They do not allow arrogance or pride to hold them back.

Become a Risk Taker

This next suggestion might feel counterintuitive, but you must become a risk-taker. Stepping outside of your comfort zone and trying new things can be a great confidence booster. Risk-takers learn to thrive under risky situations and gain exposure to experiences and opportunities that they might not have otherwise encountered. This exposure to new things and new accomplishments is an excellent way to boost your self-confidence. Treat these risks as challenges and new opportunities.

Practice Setting and Achieving Goals

There’s nothing like the feeling of setting and achieving goals. Start small and slowly work your way towards doing something big! Take the time to establish SMART Goals and over time, slowly tick off those milestones as you conquer each one. To help you with your goal setting, take a look at my article Setting Goals – Why Size Matters and the Goldilocks Factor.

Plan for Success

Visualize your success. You will never get there if you cannot see it. Ignore the negative thoughts and the negative voice within that may be telling you that you cannot achieve great things. Many refer to it as the “inner critic.” Work on quieting that inner critic. He or she can become a distraction.
My article The Power of Awareness for Mindfulness and Manifestation will help you on your path to mindfulness and positivity, ultimately quieting that inner critic and boosting your self-confidence so you can achieve the success you really want.

In Summary

Self-confidence requires us to believe in our self. This belief means stepping outside of our boundaries and taking a risk that enables us to learn from it but to also celebrate the successes that accompany it. Building your self-confidence is well worth any effort it takes as it can really open a whole new world, not only in your own perception but how others perceive you. It is also the key to your ultimate success.

3 Masterful Activites to Manifest a Congruent Life

Image result for congruent spiritualTo live a congruent life simply means to be living in space that you have consciously created for yourself. A space that serves a great purpose and acts as the foundation upon which you manifest excellence into your life. This is a space where you’ve taken delicate care to tend to, always making sure it’s neat, tidy, ever-expanding and in alignment with what makes you feel most alive.

If you are sitting there asking yourself if you even have such a space, don’t worry, you are not alone. In fact, most of us don’t consciously take the time to give ourselves one moment of relaxation at the end of a full day. Somewhere along the line, it’s as if new software was installed in the psyches that told us life always had to be hard; and that if it wasn’t, then we were doing something wrong.

Often times, along with such core beliefs that have taken root deep within us, other beliefs that don’t always serve us start to form and grow as well. We might believe that only when we struggle do we deserve happiness; that it must always come with a price. Or even worse, that we are unworthy of happiness (or love) at all.

And perhaps that is the key to it all…which reminds me of every old 50’s romance tune…love is all you need, right? But is that enough? Well, yes…and no. See, love in and of itself is not out for itself. It just IS. And perhaps that is it’s the greatest lesson to soak in from dancing on the edge of it’s madness to falling into it’s most frightening and dark depths of another human soul. But there must be consciousness behind the love for it to have meaning. Meaning, we as our awesome human selves, determine the level at which we can experience love, by the amount we are willing to give love, be vulnerable, and open to taking some indefinite leaps of faith.

Love leads us to some intense and scary places sometimes, and yet collectively we continue to innately know that to have love in our lives, is to have peace in our hearts. And that, I believe is the first step to true happiness, or what I like to call, “congruent living”. Image result for congruent spiritual quote

From years of studying the connection between the heart and the mind, as well as the principles of Quantum Mechanics, I can comfortably say that anyone, no matter the race, gender, creed, nationality, etc. has the capability to manifest peace within their own hearts. Even in the direst of suffering, this noble act is not some mystic’s tale. In fact, it is often within suffering itself that we are lead to the conscious awareness of the true amount of control we have over the quality of our lives; merely for the fact, we have control over the quality of our thoughts…

The first… would be that the consciousness must be present that the power to bring peace to one’s heart resides within oneself. This can manifest in many different ways for many different people, but usually accompanies a major event of some kind ranging from a near-death drowning or car accident, or losing someone close to you. Getting a reminder that nothing is trivial and all we truly have is this moment is the quickest and shortest route to gaining this conscious awareness. But it doesn’t have to be that serious all the time. And by that I mean, if you learn to listen to the subtle messages of the Universe, it will gently whisper in your ear instead of taking a proverbial 2×4 to your head when you choose to ignore it. 🙂

Once you can find peace within your own heart, you have just taken the “For Sale” sign off of that space I mentioned earlier on. You’ve allowed yourself to make perhaps one of the greatest investments in your overall health because now you have a “go-to”. Some people get to their space through breathing exercises, or simply taking a moment to close their eyes and imagine their favorite vacation beach spot or perhaps their own children’s laughter.

And yet other people will think of loved ones or anything that ignites a sense of inner joy, gratitude, connection to the Source of life. Basically we are by-passing the logical brain often lead by the ego that convinces of we aren’t worthy of stepping into these higher vibrational states of living.

The second way to master living a life of congruence would be to always be pushing yourself to step more and more into your greatness. Meaning, do more of what makes you feel alive, do what you’re good at and what you enjoy sharing with others. This is true giving of yourself and of your gifts and the more you do it, the greater you expand your space. Think of it as an interior upgrade or like putting an addition onto the house. You will soon realize that it’s not so much the “doing” but rather the “being” that allows it all to unfold. And it is not much a matter of will, but rather a matter of willingness to trust the Universe that brings forth ideas and thus ultimately creations into the material world.

The third and final masterful activity would include welcoming not only the “good” stuff but not avoiding the “bad”. To always see the lesson in the pain is true sight. To be able to view yourself and your life without judgment, but always with conscious movement towards embodying our most true selves, is “absolute” congruent living. To zoom out and see the greater whole rather than pin-pointing on bits and pieces of it, we can innately reconnect to our own inner grand vision; the one which reminds us we are connected to everything and everyone.

When you look at your life and see the balance amongst even what some might call “chaos”, is to have expanded your vision into the realm of “anything goes” when it comes to manifestation. Allowing yourself to be open to the opportunity for growth and expansion as your inner roots climb deep down into the dark, is what gives the fruits above the life-source to bloom and blossom. And as a favorite mentor of mine always says, “The deeper the roots, the sweeter the fruits.”

Have a most fruitful, congruent week everyone! <3

How Weird, Little Synchronicities Can Actually Be the Bomb!

Art by Cherie Roe Dirksen

For those of you who don’t know what synchronicity is, please READ THIS.

Meaningful Coincidences

“Synchronicity hints at the unified world behind the illusory veil of the material universe” — Roger S. Jones

Synchronous moments usually mark major game changes in our individual timelines.

It could be that moment when you bump into a friend you haven’t seen in years that you just had a dream about.  You get talking and she’s the very person you need to collaborate with.  You both go on to start an amazing and successful online enterprise.

When you look back at that point in time, you just know that synchronicity bought you together and your dream was a breadcrumb leading you to success. That kind of synchronous moment is a no-brainer — it was Kismet!

Synchronicities are awesome markers and can change your life forever if you don’t brush them off as meaningless.

Seemingly Meaningless Coincidences

Okay, so what about those itty bitty synchronicities? You know the ones…

You trip over your son’s toy T-Rex in the morning.  You walk into the supermarket and there’s a big Barney the Dinosaur cut-out as you head in.  The soccer mom who’s carpooling today comes to the door wearing a Marc Bolan T-Rex t-shirt and you start to think you’re going crazy.

What do dinosaurs have to do with your life right now?

Should you be looking more deeply into prehistory?  What is the universe trying to tell you?

That your arms are too short?

Tuning into the Radio

I’ve got an amusing personal ‘mini-synch’ story to share with you: I was packaging a painting for a client earlier this week. I decided to put on a bit of Radiohead (who doesn’t like a bit of Brit rock to make the workload more tolerable?).

So, there I was jiving and gyrating about my studio whilst cutting up board and getting packaging tape in my hair.

I got to my laptop screen to get my clients address (which I hadn’t seen yet) and to my utter amazement…he stayed in a place called ‘Radiokop’.  Which, yes — you guessed it — directly translated means ‘Radiohead’ in Afrikaans.

I wasn’t even aware that such a suburb existed in Johannesburg but there it was, as bold as brass, and staring at me from my computer screen! I even did a Google search to make sure that there really was place called ‘Radiokop’ and…of course there was!

Okay, so what do I do with this bit of fun but useless information?

Does it mean I’m going to get a visit from Thom Yorke?  I don’t think so…I mean I wouldn’t mind — don’t get me wrong — but I don’t think that’s what it means.

What’s Really Going On?

In my most humble opinion (and I have given this topic some strenuous thought), I don’t think anything happens in our lives for no reason.

These little synchronicities could very well be indicators that we are on path.

Think of it like dialing into your best life — the life your over-soul or higher self came here to express and experience. The closer you get to tuning into your appropriate channel the more life will spit out these weird little markers.

They’re not to be taken too literally, I think they are just there to let us know we’re in the timeline we’re supposed to be in — a tiny wink from the Universe.

When we diverge off this ‘preferred’ timeline, I think our propensity for the wee synchronicities will become less…a little like the white noise interference when we are dialing out of a station. But the more we try to stay tuned in, the more these coincidences will light the way for us.

Just a thought.

What do you think? Balderdash or believable?

How to Live a Meaningful Life – Part 4

The Two Levels of Meaning

We can look at how to live a meaningful life on two different levels.

On one level it can be, “I’ve discovered my purpose. And this is the path I’m going to take” from the point of view of what you are here to do.

On another level it can be “I’ve discovered my soul purpose”, maybe through the Dan Millman book The Life You Were Born to Lead, which is who you are here to be. It means that when you come up against challenges related to your soul purpose, you’re not going to beat yourself up and say “you stupid person, you’re making the same mistakes all the time”, you’re going to recognize that, “Oh, I’m going to get these challenges because these are the areas that I’ve come here to work on. So of course, I have to be challenged in those areas, otherwise, I’m not going to complete my mission.”

Your Ultimate Purpose

Your ultimate purpose is to recognize, appreciate, and develop your gifts and use them to benefit others. This applies to both your soul purpose and your life purpose. It’s the combination of BEING and DOING the best you can. We’re given them s we can be of service to others. It doesn’t big things, big roles, it can be just doing whatever we can to uplift other people, help other people – random acts of kindness.

Give people compliments, acknowledge people, be present in conversations rather than let your thoughts wander to what happened last week, or what’s going to happen tomorrow, or what I want to say to this person, rather than really listening to them. Give people attention, quality time – it can be the little things that mean a lot to people.

You can bring meaning to your life in an unlimited number of ways. As I said, they don’t have to be big things, they can be little things.

We’re seeing examples of people stepping up to be of service. There’s a young guy called Scott Presler who’s taken it upon himself to lead teams of people to clean up garbage in places like Chicago and San Francisco where there are so many homeless people that the cities have become filled with trash, discarded needles, even human feces.

He’s stepped up to really make a difference in those areas with a simple strategy of picking up trash, and he’s now getting quite a following and even appearing on TV.

So it doesn’t have to be a monumental project. Just doing small things can add meaning to your life and give you a feeling of joy, really raise your vibration, and give you a reason for living. Just a smile can uplift somebody.

Life Purpose and Manifestation

To reiterate, our life purpose is connected to manifestation. The universe supports us in the fulfillment of that purpose. So, this is why, again, it’s really important to take the time to discover your purpose because that will lead to a meaningful life.

We aren’t physical beings having a spiritual experience, we’re spiritual beings having a human experience so life is not just about physicality, it’s about spirituality and our higher purpose and what we can do to contribute to the collective consciousness and the collective goal of raising the vibration of people and the planet.

Certainly, that was the higher purpose I was led to and I believe one way of fulfilling my purpose is to broadcast my radio show and provide my guests with a platform to share their knowledge and expertise. I know that because when I stopped broadcasting for a few months, I was feeling a strong inner compulsion to get back on the radio and start broadcasting again.

Similarly, with the Festival of Enlightenment, I felt that I had to provide a platform for these messages to get out to the world, to provide information for people, to educate them, and to help them raise their consciousness. This was in 2011, in preparation for the December 2012 energetic shift.

Your purpose can manifest in many different roles. When I looked back on my life, I saw I was fulfilling my purpose when I was a manager in my corporate career. I was supporting the members of my team, I was helping them develop, become empowered them and achieve their goals and ambitions. So, as you can see, my purpose has been fulfilled in different ways but the core theme has been the same.

Discover Your Purpose

If you want to discover your purpose using the same method that I used I suggest you download my free Life Purpose Formula and also look into your personality profile at 16personalities.com. The more you get to know yourself, the clearer it will become as to what your journey on this earth is meant to be.

The other advantage is, the better you know yourself, the less you’ll be affected by other people’s opinions of you. You won’t feel the need to compare yourself to others, you’ll just be focused on and committed to the path you’ve chosen. and that is powerful.

In conclusion, I urge you to develop self-knowledge, self-awareness, and discover your purpose. That is really the key to stepping into your power and creating the meaningful life that you want to live.

How to Dispose of Preconceived Notions and Give Birth to Your Potential

Image result for wave of potential quoteWhile most consider the world of Quantum Physics to be confusing, backward, and even rebellious when it comes to mainstream mathematics, it remains to be an inviting albeit exclusive club that more and more of us mystics, wonderers, wanderers, and deep-thinkers bravely choose to traverse.

To me, Quantum Physics has always and continues to act as the bridge between two favorite worlds of mine…those of Science and Spirituality. And while I was terrified taking the first step, once I did I knew there was no going back.

Quantum Physics lights up the field of creation in ways we cannot even begin to imagine. The more we learn about the likes of entanglement and bilocation, the clearer it becomes that we each have more power over our lives than we ever knew to be possible. The power alone in the act of human observation (and ultimately our perception of said observation) is literally life allowing us to dance with the Universe.

This is not some space-case, woo-woo talk, but rather a critical component in ensuring that we as human beings know who we really are, what we are capable of and what the f*ck we are even doing here in the first place.

I know many religious people who scoff at the world of science and vice versa. Yet for me, I’ve always seen them both as two different sides of the same coin. Each having the final piece of the puzzle that the other has sought after for so long. Rather than competing with or against one another, my understanding has always been that each falls short without the other. Call it the natural order or balance of things, Yin to Yang, black to white, but nothing in the human language can quite grasp the importance of the role that Quantum Physics plays in being an equal and integral part of both the scientific and spiritual worlds.

It matters not if you believe in God to be spiritual. If you are more science-based there is still no denying the incredible cosmic wonders afforded to us by the Universe and all of the force of creation it shows up as within Nature. There is an order in everything from the growth pattern of a sunflower to the spiral of a tropical storm. And within this order, no matter how focused you are on the facts, graphs, equations and research papers that act as the foundation of the scientific theory, there is again no denying the soul-touching beauty of all this math!

So, what does this all have to do with preconceived notions and especially with giving birth to our potential? Well, I’m glad you asked…

Preconceived notions can be likened to computer software where our subconscious minds are the hard drive and everyone and everything else, all the stuff “out there” has installed this software…presumably with little to no notice on our part. I believe the human soul or “consciousness” is energy personified and thus cannot be destroyed. Therefore, we continue to “upload” into new hard drives with each incarnation. Image result for wave of potential quote

I also believe that these incarnations build on one another, call it an upgrade if you will, with each one stacking upon the last…knowledge, trauma, memories of the cells and of the soul, and lessons learned, loved and lost. With each upgrade, we all have the option to read the fine print and decide if we would like the “standard” install or the “custom” version. Customized installations allow us a view of the bigger picture of what is going onto our “machines” and thus warrant responsibility on our part to ensure we unchecked the box that asked if we also wanted to make Bing our default browser or not.

All nerdy puns aside, this is perhaps the most accurate way I can personally think of comparing the birth and rebirth of the human soul. And once we look from a different perspective, we might realize just how many of our preconceived notions of the world are not even our own. We did not experience anything directly to force a side one way or the other but rather had a repetitive installation of outdated software from our parents, teachers, clergy, news, and ultimately the entire world around us.

Some of us don’t realize this until much later in life and some never realize it at all…and it’s all OK regardless. Meeting this realization was a life-changing moment for me as it made me understand (rather innately reconnect with) that parts of me were not “me” at all, but rather ideas, opinions, and expectations of others.

In the world of Quantum Physics, ALL is potential awaiting a conscious choice to bring it forth. All energy travels in waves, and those waves do not cease until there is either a connection to or overlay of another wave. Depending on the vibration of each wave, what results is either interference or resonance. It is not until a wave is collapsed that it becomes a particle which thus appears as matter in our physical world. The same goes for any and all decisions we face in our lives. Read that again…

When we realize that ALL potential resides within our world and merely awaits a decision to be observed and chosen, we give ourselves back the power to reconnect with what shows up in your life. When we reclaim our stake as a vital piece of the cosmic puzzle, we also reclaim our birthright as a conscious creator being.

And no matter if you consider yourself religious, scientific or a little of both such as myself, creativity is something we can all appreciate in one another. For when we create, we design from the heart and leave our mark. The world around us and all potential for greatness within it, collapse through our willingness to give birth to our own lives.

Make a New LIFE Resolution (It’s Much More Powerful than a New Year’s Resolution)!

New Life Resolutions Cherie Roe Dirksen

New Year, Blah Blah…

“When you map a way to your success by gradually achieving your markers, then you are proactively making new LIFE resolutions.”

We’re about to enter our first week of the new year and I bet a lot of the best-intentioned resolutions you made have already been kicked to the curb.  Was it all just a bunch of yada-yada on New Year’s Eve?

Thing is, it’s difficult to suddenly change a way of doing something overnight.  Of course, it is admirable to make better choices in our lives but we also need to be kind to ourselves.

What does that mean?  Are you off the hook to go binge drink or keep smoking that pack of fags?

Not entirely.

Decisions for Life

“The key is to be gentle with yourself and take baby steps to a goal.”

When we make resolutions, they are usually set with the intention of bettering our lives by improving on health, wealth, relationship, etc. — right?

Here’s the part where you have to be kind to yourself — Rome wasn’t built in a day!

When we make resolutions to sever bad habits ‘from this day on’, we don’t usually allow ourselves to digress — it’s make or break time.  However, we are all human (well, most of us anyway) and we all make mistakes.

The key is to be gentle with yourself and take baby steps to a goal.

Sustainable Solutions

It’s brilliant to want to make improvements to your life.

When you map a way to your success by gradually achieving your markers, then you are proactively making new LIFE resolutions.

Whatever you want to quit, try to first cut back on — this way you won’t overwhelm yourself and plunge into old habits after your first deviation.

Become more aware if you do fall off the bandwagon.  Don’t judge yourself.  Just pick yourself up and dust off — reassure yourself you’ll do better next time around.

For example:  if you really feel like something, have it (within reason).  Consciously consume it with the awareness of what you are doing.  This way you bring your consciousness into the forefront of the behavior or addiction and you can simply observe yourself in the act.

In moments of quiet reflection, ask yourself:

  • How did this make me feel?
  • Is that why I did it?
  • How do I feel now that I’ve done it?
  • How can I better serve myself next time?
  • Is there something else I can do to get that fix naturally?

Awareness is salient to change.

Change is the only constant and we are all always in flux — it’s something we simply can’t avoid.  So embrace your new intentions with the will to slowly and steadily shift into that new way of being.  Forgive yourself for veering, if you do, and congratulate yourself on what you have achieved.

coverThe Gift Awaits

If you want to make a positive change in your life, I am offering my manifest ‘New Life Resolutions’ (CLICK HERE) to those who want a boost to the new life creation process.  You’ll also be gifted with my eBook ‘Creative Expression — How to Find Your Inspiration’ to add to your creatively evolving life.

Good luck manifesting a year full of personal triumph!

The Power of Gratitude and Forgiveness for Manifestation

Do you understand the importance of gratitude and forgiveness for removing energetic blocks?

I link gratitude and forgiveness together because, to me, they work together and increase your ability to manifest positive outcomes for yourself.

Let me explain why.

Everyone has had experiences at some time that created negative emotions like anger, resentment, blame, shame, and guilt. If you haven’t, then you’re not human LOL!

When you are unable to forgive somebody it’s because you are holding resentment, other negative feelings, and negative energy about that situation and about the people involved in it and this creates resistance and negative energy within you. It can cause limiting beliefs, self-judgment, and judgment of others, which is not conducive to positive manifestation. It can even cause dis-ease.

The reason I link these two together is that I believe that everything happens for a reason. And I also believe that we have a higher purpose. Many of the things that happen to us are so that we can learn, develop, and ascend to a higher level of consciousness.

Look for the Gift

So, experiences that we judge as being negative are actually catalysts for our development and evolution. That’s why I call them evolutionary catalysts. And I’ve come to realize that even in the most seemingly negative or challenging situation, there is a gift.

If you consciously look for that gift, it will shift your whole energy around the situation that happened. This is where the power of neutrality comes in. For each situation that’s happened in the past that you’ve been unable to forgive, approach it from the neutral point of view of an observer, with detachment. You can then consciously choose whether you continue to wallow in the negative of that situation or whether you choose to look for the positive, even if it might not be immediately apparent.

By finding the gift in these challenging situations, you’re then able to feel gratitude for the gift that is given to you. And that is really the core of being able to forgive whoever was involved in that situation, including yourself (very important). You will release all the negativity and the energy blocks around it.

So, I really recommend that you go back and review your life, all the things that have continued to cause resentment that you have found difficult to forgive, and really look for the gift in them from the point of neutrality. Then, I can assure you that your negative view of the situation will turn into a positive one. Think how much lighter and freer you’ll feel when it’s done!

Gratitude and Forgiveness Workbook

If this is something that you’ve been struggling with, I’ve created a Gratitude and Forgiveness Workbook which is an exercise to help with this. Think about each incident that has caused you these negative feelings and emotions, and really look in detail for the gift, acknowledge the gift, forgive whoever was involved and forgive yourself for what happened in that situation. That will enable you to release the negativity, it will free you to move forward and let go of all that negative blocked emotion and really make a difference in your life and in your ability to manifest.

Download your copy of the Gratitude and Forgiveness Workbook HERE. And if you would like some help with finding the gift and releasing the negativity, I invite you to apply for a free Success Strategy Session.

Elemental Excellence: How to Live As a Spiritual Alchemist

alchemyWe’ve all hit tough times at some point in our lives, but hopefully everyone reading this also has some amazing memories as well. While life is full of ups and downs and what we could label as “positive” or “negative” experiences, how we perceive those experiences and what we do with what we learn from those experiences, is how we ultimately become Spiritual Alchemists over our own lives.

When times are tough and we find ourselves struggling in our lives whether it be within our relationships, finances or health, we tend to right away base our state of being on the outside conditions relating to this area of our lives. While it’s definitely possible to live your entire life this way, it keeps one in a state of victim-hood and causes us to form dependencies and create expectations around other people, places and things. I’m not talking about counting on your husband to work and help pay bills; I’m talking about the perception that if he didn’t, that there’s then got to be something wrong with YOU.

Often when we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, it’s nearly impossible to keep the faith and to trust that everything will work out in the end. But this is the process of becoming a Spiritual Alchemist in that we begin to not only listen to Spirit, but to use the signs and guidance it gives you to create a level of  “elemental excellence” in your life; one where you feel cared for, safe, abundant, creative, flowing and expansive.

To do this we must learn to daunting feat of TRUSTING. But this trust isn’t about sitting back and resting on our laurels and expecting magic to happen without us being involved or actually doing something to move towards our goals. This kind of trust is cosmic and infinite and is about conscious surrender. Surrendering to the fact there is nothing wrong with you and that nothing in you is lacking or missing. This leads to the knowing that anything showing up that has you convinced otherwise is mere illusion, albeit a persistent one.

And once you are fully resonating in this knowing, the trust in the Universe to deliver on the action you’ve put into motion will begin to flow like alchemic rain. Things that appear to be falling apart are actually falling into place. This is the time to always keep close to your heart the realization that without erosion, the pearl would never exist and this will ultimately invite you again to trust that your vision(s) you have for your ideal life are within you and that the seeds you’ve planted are in fact growing.

This is the test that all of the great Masters speak of from Gurus to Samurais; the keeping of peace within oneself regardless of outside goings-on; the knowing that the source of safety, security, peace, etc. resides within you at all times and it has only always ever been the belief we have about the “outside” world that gives it such a seemingly strong sense of control over the lives we lead.

Being able to mix creativity and creation in the midst of the perception of lack and struggle is true Spiritual Alchemy. We are all here to learn and grow and expand into our greatest potential and we are all given the gifts and tools we need to do this, regardless of where we are born, what we look like and how much cash our parents have in the bank at the time of our birth. Guaranteed certain hardships can appear solitary, or like you’re being singled out and shitted on by life itself. But it is what we do with all of the shit that matters.

We often get so caught up in and overwhelmed by everything that we just give up and surrender to the illusion. But if we take a leap of faith and trust and believe in ourselves when there’s no “outside” reason instigating us to, then THAT is true will-power. That is what will drive us forward and allow the truth of who we really are as creators come forth and from there it only expands. The more you move towards it, the bigger your cosmic playground will become. We just need to take that first step before the staircase appears, and trust fully that the ground will appear beneath your feet…

Spiritual Alchemy requires such faith and trust because it shows that you are serious about becoming a Master over your own life…which since it requires the deepest, most intimate level of letting go, the rewards are invaluable in that they will fill you up with a sense of infinite security. That’s the trick…once you are fully willing to let go of everything…the world is yours.

Taking the time to invest in yourself and your own personal development is priceless and if you take the leap, the Universe will respond accordingly. But we must be willing to create the magic in our lives and become the conscious creators we were meant to be, rather than wishing and wanting for the outside world to bring us peace. The act of looking inward rather than out will show us hidden recipes for success if we are just willing to look. Spiritual Alchemists are not letting hard times defeat them, but are rather using hardships, sorrow, fear, and struggle as fuel and mixing courage with creativity to develop etheric means of positive, empowered living.

So, we’ve learned that Spiritual Alchemy isn’t so much about control as it is awareness. Once you are aware of your personal power over your own life and “step up to show up” where life is calling you to develop, build on and share your gifts with the world, you by default lose your fear of not being enough, not having enough and not doing enough because you are full with the potential for creating Elemental Excellence in your life!  The fear becomes excitement, the sense of loss or resentment becomes growth and gratitude and life will only then continue to show for YOU in abundant ways right back… Remember it’s never what we think about; it is how we FEEL about what we think about!
