Dear America: The World’s Not Quite as F*cked as the Mainstream Media Makes it Out to Be

By Carey Wedler | The Anti-Media

(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) — No matter what you turn, it seems the world is burning and chaos reigns supreme. War, threats of war, racism, violence, hatred, and division populate the news cycle and leave us few options but to hang our heads in hopelessness, despair, and increasingly, rage.

While there certainly are countless reasons to be concerned about humanity’s trajectory, however, positive things are happening, and it’s important to be aware of them to keep things in perspective — and to keep your sanity. Here are some recent and long-term developments to remind you there is still hope for the human race.

Let’s start with some antidotes to the most depressing news of the past week:

Last week, many Americans worried nuclear war was upon us after Donald Trump and North Korean ruler Kim Jong-un exchanged violent threats. Media reports that North Korea possesses dangerous weapons capable of reaching the U.S. persist, but other reports have suggested the threat is not what the hype has led us to believe.

For one, many South Koreans have declined to fall victim to the hysteria and continue to live their lives. Various military-oriented news outlets have also reported that American troops and defense institutions are not moving forward with war operations. South Korea’s president said this week that there will be no war.

Further, respected MIT professor Theodore Postol, along with two other atomic experts, published an article late last week indicating they believe fears of North Korea’s nuclear capabilities have been exaggerated by the North Korean government, adding that the West’s fearful reaction is exactly the intention the regime hoped to incite.

After a week of chaos regarding North Korea, the U.S. news cycle upped the ante with the disturbing protests and subsequent violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Saturday. Some protesters waved Nazi flags and dressed in KKK regalia, chanting “White lives matter” and “Jews will not replace us.” Some counter-protesters showed up ready to fight and waving communist flags. Ultimately, a car driven by a white supremacist smashed into counter-protesters, killing three individuals and injuring many more. While the event certainly displayed the deep divisions currently plaguing American society, they also served to highlight fringe elements. In reality, most Americans are not Nazis or communists and completely reject the behavior on display this weekend, even if they succumb to more mainstream partisan divides.

Further, the market has responded to the displays of hatred in a variety of ways. Nazis are being outed on social media, and the white supremacist website, Daily Stormer, has been shut down not only by their GoDaddy server but also Google, which cited violations of their terms of service. Discord, a chat service for gamers, also terminated the accounts of white supremacists. Intolerance for intolerance is everywhere.

Further, it’s worth noting that at this point in time, the Nazi presence in the United States is not as strong — or accepted — as it was in the 1930s. At that time, American Nazis held a massive event at Madison Square Garden and built a bunker in preparation for after Hitler conquered the world and the United States collapsed.

But focusing solely on these two events, even if the goal is to demonstrate that they haven’t wholly doomed human progress, fails to do justice to the wide variety of other positive developments taking place.

For one, Bitcoin has continued to rise in value, bolstering opposition to the current central banking fiat currency monopoly. It surpassed $4,000 late last week and continues to grow. The FDA, which last year recommended that the DEA keep cannabis a Schedule I drug, is now taking public comments on the potential benefits of cannabidiol, a non-psychoactive ingredient cannabinoid showing increasing promise for use as medicine.

They are expected to present these comments, which may also focus on a variety of other drugs, to the World Health Organization (this is far from an indicator they will legalize it, but it’s undeniably a trend in the right direction). A recent survey of beekeepers recently found that the bee population is starting to rebound after years of decline.

Musician Bruno Mars has donated a million dollars to combat Flint’s ongoing water crisis, Chance the Rapper just gave 30,000 backpacks to school children in Chicago, and a new organization in San Diego, called Eat San Diego, launched an effort this year to plant free food gardens around the city.

Long-term developments are also helping humanity, from apps to make it easier to feed the homeless to tiny homes and 3-D printed houses, which can be used to help give them shelter. Emerging 3-D printed meat may eventually reduce dependence on factory farming, and consumers are increasingly demanding cleaner food options.

Despite President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement, Morgan Stanley recently released an analysis contending that the U.S. will meet climate goals, anyway. Alternative forms of energy are becoming more affordable despite the far greater subsidies the fossil fuel industry still receives.  The rise in cannabis use is undermining the pharmaceutical monopoly, alcohol industry, and police and prison guard unions.

Despite its shortcomings, the independent media is thriving and challenging official narratives, and corporate news sources are increasingly exposed for their biases and political loyalties.

People are ever more interested in expanding their own consciousness, and some are starting young — in Baltimore, for example, the Holistic Life Foundation teaches students the power of meditation and yoga while encouraging them to take part in their communities, maintaining gardens and cleaning up trash.

Though it’s easy to get caught up in the media’s constant barrage of negative news, it helps to remember that that’s what sells — that fear and outrage get more ratings than community and progress. “If it bleeds, it leads,” goes the long-standing newsroom trope.

While we may be a long way off from world peace, saving the planet, and ending the corporate-authoritarian state,  progress is all around, and in times like these, it is vital to pay attention to it.

YouTube Begins Purging Alternative Media As The Deep State Marches Toward WW3

By Matt AgoristThe Free ThoughtProject

If you get your news from mostly far left sources, chances are you’ve heard YouTube and Google are censoring or blacklisting left and progressive sites and content. Conversely, if you get your news from far right sources, chances are you’ve heard YouTube and Google are censoring their content as well. If you want to know which side is being truthful in trying to expose their censorship, it is both of them.

In the last week, we’ve witnessed a massive crackdown on alternative media — the likes of which are unprecedented. Quite literally overnight, YouTube issued a sweeping update and demonetized thousands of video in accounts across the political spectrum.

If you ask Paul Joseph Watson from Infowars.com, it’s because they are cracking down on pro-Trump pages. Pro-Trump personalities Diamond and Silk were also hit with the demonetization purge and they also claim it’s because YouTube is going after Trump supporters.

While both Watson and Diamond and Silk had their videos demonetized, the rabbit hole goes far deeper than just pro-Trump sites.

If it were just pro-Trump videos being hit with the censorship sweep, then why is Luke Rudkowski, founder of We Are Change, also being purged?

The Free Thought Project spoke to Rudkowski Friday and asked if any of his many videos that were clearly critical of Trump were demonetized. He tells us that all of them were.

Rudkowski is most certainly not a participant of the left/right paradigm, nor is he a Trump supporter, but he was hit as well.

We asked Rudkowski what he thought about people claiming that it’s their pro-Trump status getting them censored, here’s what he said:

Obviously that is not the case since it looks like they hit me first and my channel is clearly very critical of Donald Trump for the real reasons that the MSM would never touch.

It’s not just We Are Change and pro-Trump folks either. The folks over at World Socialist Web Site— a far left organization with a clearly advertised agenda — is also being hit.

According to a scathing report from wsws.org, they aren’t alone either. Google, YouTube’s owner, has reportedly undertaken a similar attack on alternative viewpoints. As wsws reports,

Truthout, a not-for-profit news website that focuses on political, social, and ecological developments from a left progressive standpoint, had its readership plunge by 35 percent since April. The Real News , a nonprofit video news and documentary service, has had its search traffic fall by 37 percent. Another site, Common Dreams , last week told the WSWS that its search traffic had fallen by up to 50 percent.

“This is political censorship of the worst sort; it’s just an excuse to suppress political viewpoints,” Robert Epstein, a former editor in chief of Psychology Today and noted expert on Google, told wsws.

Those who’ve been paying attention predicted this crackdown and watched it come to a head at the beginning of this month when the Anti-Defamation League applauded Google and YouTube for taking on hate speech and extremist content while having the ADL be the ones who decide what gets flagged.

“The fight against terrorist use of online resources and cyberhate has become one of the most daunting challenges in modern history,” said Jonathan A. Greenblatt, ADL CEO. “Google has been a leader in this area from the beginning. The reality is extremists and terrorists continue to migrate to and exploit various other social media platforms. We hope that those platforms can learn from and emulate what YouTube is doing to proactively identify and remove extremist content.”

For those that don’t know, last year, the ADL labeled the cartoon, Pepe the frog, a symbol of hate. This irrational behavior is hardly indicative of a third party who ostensibly possesses the skills to determine what people should and shouldn’t see online.

Given these recent moves, we can infer that what is likely happening is far more insidious than pro-Trump censorship or pro-left censorship. While the ADL is likely using their newfound authority to silence those with whom they disagree politically — by labeling them extremists — this new censorship appears to go after anyone who challenges the establishment.

Disagreeing with the status quo is the new hate speech.

Those who challenge the corporate government paradigm are being lumped in with extremist groups and being flagged as hate speech. Sadly, only those who get their information from these alternative sources who are unafraid of challenging the oligarchy will even know this is happening.

It takes years of hard work to build a platform that is able to break through the static shoved out by the mainstream media and reach people still plugged into the matrix. However, once they see the establishment for what it is, this cannot be unseen. The powers that be know this and appear to be moving in to stop it.

Imagine if you never came across alternative media that challenged your thought process and made you question the government. Imagine if you never ‘woke up’ to the atrocities committed by the state on a daily basis. Imagine where you’d be right now without that information. Now, imagine that information is snubbed out forever. Is that a world you want to live in?

We didn’t think so.

If ever there were a time for people to get over their political, religious, racial, sexual, or any other differences — it is now. While we may disagree on different issues, if any one group is allowed to be silenced, it is only a matter of time until everyone else is silenced too.

What makes freedom work is the ability for contrasting ideas to be presented — even if you find them repugnant. When we stop the dissemination of ideas, only one idea prevails and it is certainly not freedom.

The good news is that many have seen this day coming and have made moves to combat it. One such move is the social media platform Steemit.

This uncensorable network is a blockchain-based social media platform where anyone can post and read what they want — and even earn money. It works in a similar fashion to Reddit; however, instead of being banned or censored for posts, if other users like your content, you make money.

As the deep state continues to tighten its grip on humanity, we need to continue to resist through outlets like this one. Also, it has never been more important to inform your family members and friends of the blatant censorship taking place under their noses. Please, encourage them to seek out alternative media and bookmark it as those like Google, YouTube and Facebook — who have a monopoly on the dissemination of information — may make it all but impossible to find in the near future.

For now, Americans, along with the rest of the world, would do well to remember these most powerful words by the German journalist and poet, Christian Johann Heinrich Heine, “Dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen.”

Where they have burned books, they will end in burning human beings.

Yoga is Art

Sketch by Lindsay Frei

What is the marriage between inner and outer beauty?

Yoga is many things. It’s a science, a philosophy, a mode of spirituality, and a method of therapy to name a few. Sometimes I forget that yoga is also an art. Yoga is beautiful, pure and simple. It’s beautiful to watch and to experience. Yoga, like many other disciplines, explores and celebrates what it means to be human. Through the form of our poses we understand our inner-realm and celebrate being alive. We celebrate being.

It’s true that it’s not what’s on the outside that counts; you don’t win when you’ve accomplished a pose. Yet, there is something sublimely beautiful in the simplest form, the humblest yoga posture. When I teach yoga, I am privileged to witness the beauty of all different body types, ages, and walks of life practice being human. I see lines, curves, and angles come alive and flow. I see the magical bleed between effort and ease dancing before me. I see the embodiment of bliss and understanding as well as struggle and frustration. I can feel what’s happening on the inside of my students because it’s manifesting on the outside right before me like a living poem, like sculpture that moves, like a painting that comes alive, or a boisterous Rock Opera turned up to 11. Sure, it’s not about how the pose looks but rather how it feels that is important. Regardless, your inner beauty manifests outwardly. It is still true that the poses are beautiful.  We are living art.

And yet this being human, this living art, is like a sand painting that even as we speak is withering to its demise to become part of the elements from whence we came. This notion reminds me that art (human or otherwise) is just as much if not more expressed in its becoming than in its arrival. It shows me that the entire process of our lives is like one long, beautiful play full of tragedies, joys, doldrums, and loves.

Understanding the art of becoming rather than arriving emphasizes presence, the sublime of right now.  And perhaps that is the intersection between inner and outer beauty, the place where inner presence and outer form meet. In this sacred marriage, our form helps us to understand that numinous realm within and our presence helps us to live outwardly with heath, clarity, and yes, beauty.

You are an artist whether you think of yourself as an artist or not. An artist, whether dancer, painter, musician, sculptor, or liver of life, must practice presence to honestly and bravely witness this world. The unconscious or the busy mind would pass by such beauty. The artist doesn’t only celebrate sunrises and rainbows. The artist finds beauty also in dark lines and shadow. Landscapes that don’t make sense or that paint a picture that is tragic, disturbing, and poignant, are nonetheless beautifully human. Indeed, that’s why we love tragedies and the dark side because this beautiful tapestry of life isn’t limited by only sunrises and rainbows.  With presence, we can truly see the beauty in all things, especially ourselves.

I invite you to celebrate the full beauty of your life this week through yoga and mindfulness. Celebrate what it means to be human. Come and be beautiful. Be art.

Here are some poems that celebrate living your life as art.

Poem of the One World

This morning
the beautiful white heron
was floating along above the water

and then into the sky of this
the one world
we all belong to

where everything
sooner or later
is a part of everything else

which thought made me feel
for a little while
quite, beautiful, myself.

~Mary Oliver

THREE IN TRANSITION

(FOR WCW)

I wish I understood the beauty
in leaves falling. To whom
are we beautiful
as we go?

I lie in the field
still, absorbing the stars
and silently throwing off
their presence. Silently
I breathe and die
by turns.

He was ripe
and fell to the ground
from a bough
out where the wind
is free
of the branches

~David Ignatow

Lawyer for InfoWars Host Alex Jones Says Jones is a “Performance Artist” (a Fake)

By Brianna Acuesta | TrueActivist

Alex Jones. Credit: Infowars

The infamous host of InfoWars, Alex Jones, is currently in the middle of a custody battle for the three children he shares with ex-wife Kelly Jones, whose divorce was finalized in 2015. Though the original divorce settlement determined that Alex would have custody of the children, ages 14, 12, and 9, with limited visits with Kelly. However, Kelly is now pursuing joint or full custody because she claims that Alex is “unstable” and that the persona he uses on his radio talk show is genuine.

Surprisingly, Alex Jones and his attorneys beg to differ. His attorneys are reportedly using the argument that Alex’s persona is just that. Randall Wilhite, his lead attorney, stated in trial,’

“He’s playing a character,” and that he’s a “performance artist.”

If you’re unfamiliar with InfoWars, perhaps the best term to describe Alex Jones’ is a “conspiracy theorist,” in which he is one of the people that ardently claims the Sandy Hook and Pulse nightclub shooting were fabricated by the government and that Hillary Clinton is assuredly running a pedophile sex ring out of a pizza joint in Washington D.C. He has been at the head of many unproven scandals and uses his website and YouTube as a platform to post his videos.

His ex-wife has said that despite what his attorneys are saying about the authenticity of his content and beliefs that she knows that he’s being genuine on his show.

“He’s not a stable person,” she reportedly told the court. “He says he wants to break Alec Baldwin’s neck. He wants J-Lo to get raped.”

“I’m concerned that he is engaged in felonious behavior, threatening a member of Congress,” she added, referring to Jones’ recent rant that included allusions to violence about Rep. Adam Schiff, D-California. “He broadcasts from home. The children are there, watching him broadcast.”

On the way to trial one day, Alex himself broadcasted from his car that his personality on the InfoWars videos was genuine, going so far as to say, “I am completely real and everybody knows it.” He later deleted the video after Kelly’s side said that this could have been a violation of the judge-ordered gag rule surrounding the case, but many suspect that this was his attempt to keep his viewers despite what his own attorneys were saying about him in court.

Kelly believes that Alex is a bad parent and setting a poor example for their children, and even told a mental health counselor back when they were in the process of getting a divorce that Alex was “verbally, emotionally, and sexually abusive.”

In return, Alex’s camp came back and said that Kelly was the one that’s mentally unstable, claiming that she had bouts of “transient psychosis” that made her unfit to properly watch the children. Though Kelly’s side has conceded that for a time Kelly was mentally unwell, they said that this was because of Alex’s brazen attempts to drive a wedge between her and her children, which is why she initially agreed to the original custody agreement.

After having had time away from Alex, she has resurged and decided to seek a better custody arrangement, something that Alex has no intention of allowing which is evident in these long and expensive court battles. In this day and age, it’s hard to say whether Alex Jones’ videos are authentic, especially when his lawyers are saying he’s playing a character while he rants about other “fake news” websites.

Enlightenment Made Easier With Music

By Jill Mattson | Jill’s Wings of Light

Many paths lead people along the long road to enlightenment – when one overcomes the difficulties of negativity in the world of duality. At the conclusion of the journey participants experience nothing but love. Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, service and devotion are examples of such paths to enlightenment. Today we introduce a new path… the road of sublime music!

Music can be pleasurable, feel good and birth happiness. One can endlessly listen to music, even while doing other activities. Each uplifting listening experience adds a drop of positive energy to one’s fields. Music, which can engage and entertain, can be influencing us for the entire journey of self-improvement… making this an easier path to complete.

As we listen to music, it overcomes us, by making us tap our feet, calm down or dance a jig. We match the vibrations and rhythms within the music. We can listen to music – until we become the music. We become the “mellow feeling of the serene melody” or mirror the dance-beat. When we “sync” with music – we blend with others doing the same thing, tapping into their collective energy/consciousness.

Don’t birds, wind and rain all have their unique songs? Every movement made by a living thing creates sound – even if it is too tiny for us to notice it. All vibrations interact and even to tiny degrees influence one another. The music of nature – whether or not we can actually hear it – tunes, entrains and enters our energy fields. Notice how your consciousness changes after time spent in nature. We can blend with nature, until there is no separation between us and the living- breathing world of nature. As we sink into nature (and its melodious vibrations) the illusionary boundaries between things and people disappear. When we are too busy to be out in nature, we can enjoy nature sounds through CDs and electronic media!

Vibrations of sound become visible when they amass. Look to cymatics (check out cymatic You Tube videos). Observe sand on a metal plate – vibrating from sound alone – forming recognizable shapes and intricate geometric patterns. In this way, we “see” sound creating form in matter. Sound allows us to see its shape – proof of its energy-influence in the world of matter.

People are conscious of emotions. Think of a movie sound track or a song and how it makes you feel. In this way, we experience our consciousness with music. Our consciousness observes our own songs and energies. When we see ourselves in the outer material world in this manner, it is as if the “Knower becomes known to itself.”

Each generation has its own preferred type of music AND general characteristics (baby boomers versus generation X, and Rock and Roll versus Rap). Music not only describes the group’s characteristics, but also creates them. The group’s music represents the group energies. By listening to the group’s music we experience the consciousness of the group. By listening, we can jump into their “vibrations” and experience a slice of their consciousness… which ultimately expands our consciousness.

Sound, music and consciousness are not always visible. For example, the vibrations emitted from a flower are too tiny to hear, yet they influence us none-the-less. The invisible feelings of peace remains where the saint and the sage has sat. This feeling can influence the town, city and state – if the saint’s energy is powerful enough. A quantity of this energy must be amassed to see a result in our dense material world. One method to alter our consciousness and that of other listeners boils down to what are we ingesting in sound? And How much of a dosage do we get?

The salvation of the world can be compared to a game of Risk or Monopoly – the largest quantity of energy, which can be found in pliable sounds and music – becomes the dominant song that the masses march to. In the game of Risk, players have different colored game pieces. Whoever has the most pieces wins the game. So if the game board is covered with blue, then blue wins and red loses, as it doesn’t have enough power. There is no struggle between good and evil – simply it is a game of amassing quantities of colored game pieces, which equates to power.

Likewise, music and the world pool of vibrations can be compared to an impersonal game with the largest quantities of vibrations (expressed as music, feeling or thoughts) dominating. The greatest volume of a frequency/rhythm/melody overcomes or entrains another. So we must ponder: what are the songs that the world hears today? How many songs are injecting love versus chaos and destruction into our collective wave pool? How sincere are the singers? When you pray for people in a war torn area, such as Syria, your prayer is like adding a small colored piece on the game board. When you pray in song form – like a mantra or a hymn, and your intent is on uplifting Syria, you place a large game board piece into play. Sound can amplify power. Everyone can use their uplifting feelings and voice to “vote” on what should be the dominating subtle energy of the world.

So what is your contribution to the global energy pool? Everything about you (thoughts, feeling, actions and health) is entered into the global vibrational energy pool. This can be a scary analogy, but there is great beauty in this analogy as well. You matter; your thoughts, feeling and actions can tip the balance of power. Most importantly – are you singing? Out of tune (or whatever) is fine, but use your voice as the powerful tool that it is. We can entrain and subconsciously mimic the sounds of love – an impersonal love (not a needy or controlling) that maintains and uplifts the world.

Home-school Solution for Education

By Jon Rappoport | No More Fake News

homeschooling-mother-and-child-680x380

(To read about Jon’s mega-collection, The Matrix Revealed, click here.)

Over the last 40 years, the assault on Western culture and civilization has taken people so far away from lucid thinking and logic, they don’t even know this discipline exists at all.

What has replaced it is entertainment.

It seems that hundreds of gimmicks and machines are now necessary, in order to keep the attention of children in school. There is a fear that without these “up-to-date” items, the kids will drop into a coma or walk out of the classroom.

Well, entertainment has an interesting side effect. It enables humans to jump quickly from one moment to another, leaving the last moment in the dust, forgotten. In other words, all-pervasive entertainment contributes mightily to short attention spans.

I’ve encountered this phenomenon as a lecturer. Standing at the podium, I’ve seen light bulbs of discovery go off above people’s heads as I explain the specifics of medical fraud.

And then, an hour later, standing in the lobby, surrounded by audience members, I’ve heard these same newly enlightened people ask questions that reveal they’d heard nothing of what I’d just said inside the hall.

Ah, but they had heard it. It was illuminating, to be sure, but it was also entertainment—as far as they were concerned. Therefore, they could shrug it off and kick it to the floor under their chairs and forget it.

Why do people opt for entertainment rather than education?

Because they have no mental foundation to which they can attach new learning. It isn’t there.

Yes, learning to read and write and do math are basics—but there is another basic that has been expunged from our curriculum: logic. Most people in America don’t even recognize logic is a body of knowledge in the same way that biology, geology, physics, and chemistry are.

Astonishing, when you realize that learning has to be hooked to the star of logic, so it can flourish.

When Plato began writing his Dialogues 2400 years ago, he was bringing to light, for the first time in recorded history, a version of logic. He apparently learned about these matters from his teacher, Socrates, and he passed the knowledge on to his pupil, Aristotle—who, in turn, created a foundation for what we now know as science.

One can trace the development (and repression) of logic all the way up through Western thought, to the present—where, in high schools, it arouses almost zero interest.

It’s now fashionable to discard logic, just as it is fashionable to grant universal “equality” to all opinions, no matter how ridiculous and unintelligible they are.

When the foundation is gone, the house collapses.

So I am about re-building the foundation and the house.

Some of you have asked me for a syllabus of my Logic and Analysis course. Here it is.

* The course is taught in 18 class sessions.

* The first two sessions are filled with short examples of logical fallacies.

* The third and fourth sessions examine slightly longer passages of text that contain multiple logical errors.

* Sessions five through 16 take up, in great depth, long passages that read like newspaper articles, political statements, PR, and internet journalism. Students learn how to identify and explain, in specific terms, the logical flaws these passages contain.

* Sessions 17 and 18 are the final exam and the teacher’s dissection of the exam.

* The teacher’s manual and an accompanying audios lay out each session’s lesson plan. The lesson plans include my explanations of the passages and the errors they illustrate.

Logic and Analysis is designed to give students something they’ll never forget, something they’ll use for the rest of their lives.

It represents a step in the process of restoring the kind of education that once existed and disappeared many generations ago.

I was previously selling the Logic and Analysis course separately. It is now being sold as a module within my Matrix Revealed collection, and, as a result, at a discount.

Here’s Why “Fake News” Sites are Dangerous

By Jon Rappoport | No More Fake News

Newscasters-35277574_m-680x380

Here is your daily mantra: “narrow the range of thought, narrow the range of thought.”

Exposing elites who run the world?

Exposing pedophile networks?

Documenting the lies and fabrications of major media?

Laying bare the manipulations of Globalists?

Revealing the crimes of both major political parties in America?

Uncovering the spread of pharmaceutical devastation?

Tracking the ruthless ops of major corporations?

Yes, many so-called “fake news” sites do all this and much more—but something else is also going on.

Many of these sites were launched and are spearheaded by ONE man or woman.

No person outside the mainstream is supposed to be so emboldened by his/her own point of view and passion.

“All points of view belong to a group.”

We’re not supposed to believe these “fake news” INDIVIDUALS created their news operations on their own. We’re not supposed to believe each individual had a vision of what the news is supposed to be and followed that vision forward with great energy.

An individual works for what he believes is true? He keeps his own counsel? He forges ahead, despite all opposition? He may even, when all is said and done, make a profit from his own labors? We’re supposed to oppose these “evils,” and by the grace of governments and their shadow operators, we will emerge from the darkness and find our salvation in a New Order of things.

***And never—if you happen to disagree with what some independent news site is saying—NEVER entertain the idea of starting YOUR OWN news operation and building it from the ground up to reflect YOUR OWN vision. NEVER. That is individual power, which is the horrible fate that would await you.

DOING IT ON YOUR OWN?

Avoid it like the plague.

Haven’t you studied your history? This country was originally built on chipping away at people’s individual creations and tearing them down. Right? How else could America have succeeded? It is only by taking away independence in all its forms that we could have arrived at the cusp of this grand triumph now: One Collectivist World.

If we give all our attention to the six corporations that own big media and deliver their news to us, we will arrive.

Hail, Caesar! Your followers salute you!

Let the bands play. March to the tune.

No individual ever built anything, no individual can build anything, no individual ever will build anything.

Search for the media-teat of the State.

Find it.

And drink from it.

Ah.

How rejuvenating.

15 Before & After Pictures of Celebrities Exposes Societies’ Impractical Standards of ‘Beauty’

By Alexa Erickson | Conscious Evolution

beforeandafterphoto-680x380

I remember being in a dark room, excited to make it through the various steps it took to watch the photos on my camera come to life. I’d taken so many photos using my first film camera. It was so different than the digital experience. There was a level of anticipation as the image revealed itself in the chemical-drenched water. It felt very artistic; very raw. But that doesn’t necessarily make digital photography any less impressive or beautiful—just different.

When I was introduced to Photoshop, there was another level of excitement. Distorting images is its own type of art. But many would argue that we’ve taken this to an unhealthy level. It’s become all too accessible to trick others into believing we, others, and things, look like something they simply aren’t, and should look like what we change them to.

In 2011, the American Medical Association (AMA) announced it was taking a stand against image manipulation in advertising. Body image expectations, eating disorders, and other emotional problems were discussed as potential risks for alterations made through processes like Photoshop.

Since then, many celebrities have taken a stand against being digitally altered, with some refusing to photograph for anything other than the real deal. Kate Winslet became a pioneer for such refusals, handing out empowerment to anyone and everyone about standing up for what you believe in.

“I can only ever speak for myself and I can only ever do things that are important to me,” Winslet said.  “It’s a hope that other people might follow suit but it does feel important to me because I do think we have a responsibility to the younger generation of women.”

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2009, Kate discussed aging, saying: “I have wrinkles here, which are very evident. And I will particularly say when I look at movie posters, ‘You guys have airbrushed my forehead. Please can you change it back?’ I’d rather be the woman they’re saying ‘She’s looking older’ about than ‘She’s looking stoned.’”

And that was years ago. Now, in 2016, we can celebrate the many accomplishments companies and people have made to banish unrealistic standards of beauty. On the other hand, the issue is still very much around.

The following ‘before and after’ images of photoshopped celebrities show that, despite how much awareness has been raised, there are still plenty of heavily photoshopped images that work against promoting and celebrating beauty in its natural forms.

These are images that tell us perfection comes in the form of cellulite-free thighs, flawless skin, huge busts, and tiny waists.

Have you ever found yourself skimming the pages of a magazine and envying the frame and features of a model? It’s enough to make you want to erase yourself and start over. But you can’t, because you are human, and humans are beautifully flawed.

Linking Shapes with Sounds

By Jill Mattson | * Jill’s Wings of Light

CircleShapewithMusicalNotes-680x380

What fun I had at www.musicaldna.com!

Ken Lemmon has created a fun site that places the musical scale on a circle. As different musical intervals are played they are connected with brightly colored lines…and a series of tones creates shapes…

Play with Ken as he shows you the shapes created by the Toccata and Fugue in D minor by Bach! See the shapes of Rhapsody in Blue. Listen to the sounds of triads! Compare that to the sounds of trapezoids! Experience the sounds of DNA while you watch its shape being created! Watch triads being creating as you hear their sounds… and enjoy the Pentatonic Mojo!

Check out the sounds of stars!

They also feature a photograph of the Pyramids and you can move your mouse to the various shapes and listen to their sounds!

Lead Singer of Iconic Musical Group Midnight Oil Releases 1st Solo Album

By Andrew Stafford | * The Guardian

MidnightOilStamp-680x380

Editor’s Note: As a fellow musician and attorney, I have always looked up to Peter Garrett for his efforts to change the world for the better, through his time in the iconic band, Midnight Oil, as an activist, a champion for aboriginal rights, and for his efforts in the Australian Government for 9 years. I was very pleased to see recently that he has just released an autobiography, new music, and that he will be going on a tour with Midnight Oil next year.

In the nascent Sydney punk scene of 1976, the Oxford Funhouse on Taylor Square was ground zero. The venue had been established by Radio Birdman who, along with Brisbane’s the Saints, can lay claim to the title of Australia’s first punk band.

Peter Garrett, who was leading an embryonic band not yet named Midnight Oil at the time, checked them out early and came away a changed man, marvelling at how the hipsters in the crowd kept their sunglasses on amid the mayhem. “The sound was laser-bright and ferocious, and frontman Rob Younger was riveting, stalking the tiny stage with a leonine fury,” he wrote in his memoir, Big Blue Sky, released late last year.

If you want an idea of where Garrett got the unique dance step that captivated audiences for over 20 years, watch Younger in action. Garrett wasn’t informed by his movements so much as the idea of performance as an altered form of consciousness. “I like to get myself into a state where I’m not aware of what I do at all, yet somehow I get it all out,” Younger said at the time. “I don’t know, I try not to think about it.”

Garrett similarly deflects questions about his dancing, as if talking about it might cause him to freeze. “You’re suspending rational thought, as you should when you go into that zone,” he says. “When you start to move and feel the energy around you, if you think about it for one second you become a clichéd plastic statue. Which we’ll try to avoid for a little bit longer.”

Garrett – as he proclaimed on Tall Trees, the first song and single from his first solo album, A Version of Now – is back, and he remains a man of formidable energy. If his 63 years have slowed him somewhat, he won’t be merely treading the boards on an upcoming promotional tour, either. Later in the year Midnight Oil will reconvene, with the band planning to spend much of 2017 on the road. Again.

There are two public sides to Garrett: the whirling dervish on stage, and the highly organised figure who, years before he left Midnight Oil to join the Labor party, served his first term as president of the Australian Conservation Foundation between 1989 and 1993, at the height of the band’s success. He then served a further two years on the international board of Greenpeace.

“They’re both the same person,” Garrett says, lounging in a community café in Redfern, where he’s just done an interview for Koori Radio. As distinctive as ever, he doesn’t escape without shy requests for selfies and signatures. “You might discover different sides of the same person when you go on holidays with them, or sitting around a campfire, or if you have a big night in a karaoke bar.”

Garrett is used to being reduced to a caricature. So was his band. “[Midnight Oil was] misunderstood in terms of being seen as specifically constructed to deliver a political philosophy,” he says. “Misunderstood in being seen as very blokey and pub-ish, which we weren’t at all, certainly not as people. Misunderstood overseas, because no one knew where the hell Australia was, or what we were writing about.”

That didn’t stop Beds Are Burning – a pointed call to white Australia to return the land to its original inhabitants – from becoming the band’s biggest hit in America. Still, there was always more to Midnight Oil than slogans. “I thought there was some abstraction in what we were doing,” Garrett says, before conceding: “Probably not a lot of humour, it’s fair to say. Not my strong suit. Humour ain’t Oils!”

A Version of Now isn’t played for laughs either but it’s often unexpectedly tender and sweet. There are love songs to Doris, his wife of 30 years, which are as direct as anything he’s ever written. Their three daughters, Emily, May and Grace, sing harmonies; May even plays drums on one track.

And while it features the Oils guitarist Martin Rotsey, it sounds like a genuinely personal solo project. There was no thought of bringing the songs to rest of the group, he says: “They came so quickly and then I knuckled down and tried to knock them into shape and get people to play them as quickly as I could. They sounded like Peter Garrett songs.”

They Did What? The Catholic Church’s Role in Suppressing Ancient Musical Theory-Part 2

By Jill Mattson | * Jill’s Wings of Light

music

Last week we discussed the competition of the Pagan religion and their belief of God in nature with the Catholic Church. This may have been the reason to suppress information about the power of music. Let’s continue with Richard Merrick’s story!

“Through the power of guilt, fear, torture and war against Pagan influences from the Middle East, the medieval Church struggled to bring under hand a violent and turbulent Europe. The last thing the Church needed was a resurgence of Egyptian Hermeticism,  Hebrew Kabbalah or neo-Pythagoreanism to interfere with its plan. Such Pagan harmonic theosophies were a clear and present danger to the Church and its project of social control. Harmonic ideals, often represented by the Pythagorean pentagram or Hebrew hexagram,  were cast by the Church as evil Pagan symbols and associated with satanic worship, witchcraft and occult rituals.

“Those who studied harmonic properties in numbers, geometry and astronomy, such as the Dualist and Gnostic Cathars in southern Europe during the 11th, 12th and 13th centuries, were threatened, executed or exiled, forcing many to roam the countryside as ‘gypsies’ (a pejorative form of Egyptian). The Knights Templar, the primary keepers of the Egyptian temple mysteries, were then hunted down and murdered by the Church (on Friday 13, 1307) with a few fleeing to far-flung places like northern Scotland. In these remnants of the Egyptian mystery school were the seeds of Rosicrucian’s, Freemasonry and other ‘secret societies’ all of which were founded on the study of harmonics in numbers and geometry. This said, few adherents today are the least bit aware or interested in harmonic science, opting instead for the benefits of a fraternal network of friends and the occasional community service project.”

They Did What? The Catholic Church’s Role in Suppressing Ancient Musical Theory

By Jill Mattson | * Jill’s Wings of Light

music

I first read about the role of the Catholic Church suppressing the knowledge of enlightening nature and sound patterns in the book Biological Apocalypse. Later I read a book explaining the power and uses of these hidden sound patters, enlightenment codes and this book is free! Check out Richard Merrick’s site…, which is fabulous! He has an understandable theory and history of this musical suppression. HTTP://www.interferencetheory.com/

(This is a quote from Richard Merrick!) “As my belief in Western science began to falter, I asked myself how simple harmonic information could be so completely absent from general public awareness. Why is this not common knowledge? Why is this not part of science, music, history and our entire educational system? Why would it not at least rate as a ‘fun fact’ in a sidebar in Popular Science or on an anatomy poster at the doctor’s office? And above all, why would the Church not want people to know all about it? After all, it could be taken as proof of a sacred ordering principle in nature, inferring the existence of a cosmic intelligence (call it what you will). So, I reoriented my study of history from this new perspective, and it quickly became obvious to me why we know virtually nothing of this lost knowledge.”

“I discovered that harmonic philosophy had long been associated with paganism (the belief of God in nature) and that the Roman Catholic Church had worked very hard over a period of a thousand years to eradicate through canon law. This was the reason the tritone interval of a half-octave, nicknamed Diabolus in Music or “Devil in Music¨ had been banned from sacred music in 1234 AD by Pope Gregory IX and is still maintained to this day!

“The Church seemed aware that the tritone could reveal the symmetry in music harmony and open the door to the carnal knowledge of harmonics in the body and elsewhere in nature. As the most powerful force in the Middle Ages, the Roman Catholic Church was very successful in establishing a franchise system where by the faithful could only reach God through the Church and its iconic brand rather than through the study of self and nature. It was through this marketing and distribution network that the Church was able to control vast populations by regulating admission to the afterlife.

P.S. These tones, which have been hidden, may be heard on my Paint your Soul CD. The tones are converted into tuning forks and sound like wind chimes in the background – ever blessing the listener! More next message.

Reporter Jon Rappoport Writes a New Ending for Orwell’s Book, 1984

By Jon Rappoport | No More Fake News

1984-movie-bb

“Money can buy you immortality, according to the Russian internet multi-millionaire who is ploughing a fortune into a project to create a human that never dies. Web entrepreneur Dmitry Itskov is behind the ‘2045 Initiative’, an ambitious experiment to bring about immortality within the next 30 years by creating a robot capable of storing human personalities. The group of neuroscientists, robot builders and consciousness researchers say they can create an android that is capable of uploading someone’s personality. Mr Itskov, who has made a reported £1bn from his Moscow-based news publishing company, is the project’s financial backer. ‘Different scientists call it uploading or they call it mind transfer. I prefer to call it personality transfer’ – Dmitry Itskov.” (The Telegraph, 3/13/16)

Winston Smith, the hero of Orwell’s 1984, has just been arrested for crimes against the State. Sitting in his cell, he watches as a familiar figure steps through the door. It’s O’Brien, the man he thought was his friend. But O’Brien is an undercover agent of the Party, and the Party rules all.

O’Brien: Don’t worry, Smith, I’m not here to wring a confession out of you or torture you. We’ve updated our methods. We have new technology. We can preserve the life and essence of every human now. This is our mission: to save, to improve, to transform.

Smith: What are you going to do?

O’Brien: We’re going to take your essence, your personality, which is your brain, and we’re going to transplant it into a new body, an artificial construct. Some people would call that construct a robot, but it’s really an advanced bio-machine. It’s programmed to operate correctly in the new society.

Smith: Operate correctly?

O’Brien: In other words, those choices your brain might make which are counter to the purposes of the Party…those choices will be nullified by the bio-machine.

Smith: So I’ll live on, but without freedom.

O’Brien: Exactly. You’ll be you, but you’ll be integrated with the collective. That’s our sales pitch.

Smith: Suppose my brain isn’t my essence or my personality?

O’Brien: Oh, we know you’re more than your brain. We know every human has dimensions of consciousness and power the brain can’t touch. We don’t publicize that fact. It’s a State secret. But we SAY your brain is you. We promote the idea.

Smith: But you can control my brain.

O’Brien: Correct. It’s a processing center, so to speak, and we can monitor what it does and stop it from acting in ways we consider harmful.

Smith: What makes you think I’ll be there at all after you take out my brain and put it in a bio-machine?

O’Brien: You won’t be there. We know you won’t be. But we say you will. It’s another aspect of our State propaganda. It eases people’s fears. We assure them they’ll live on. We tell them they and their brains are the same thing, if you follow my meaning.

Smith: And they buy that idea?

O’Brien: Of course. They’re not very thoughtful. If we said the individual and his consciousness were more than the brain, people would be confused. So we stick to the basics.

Smith: There are people who actually believe they will live on because you take their brains out of their bodies and install them in a bio-machine?

O’Brien: They do believe it, trust me. Getting them to believe it took many years and a great deal of scientific gibberish. Anyway, you’ll lie down on a table, we’ll anesthetize you, remove your brain, transfer it to a bio-machine that looks like you, and then activate the brain. A new version of Winston Smith will stand up and go about his life. Except now, instead of being a rebel, he’ll be a member of the Party, loyal and trustworthy. And you? You’ll be gone. Who knows where?

Smith: Suppose you transferred my brain but didn’t put a monitor and limiter on it? What would happen then?

O’Brien: The bio-machine would more or less act like you—the rebel. It wouldn’t be you, of course, but it would be a reasonable facsimile. An imitation, you might say. With far less imagination.

Smith: I’m me.

O’Brien: We know that. We know you’re beyond your brain, which is to say, you’re beyond any form of matter. But we don’t care. We only care about creating an imitation of you.

Smith: And that imitation would walk around and interact with other imitations you’ve created.

O’Brien: This is a long-range project. Eventually, we’ll transfer the brains of everyone—excluding high Party officials—into bio-machines.

Smith: And you’ll call this immortality.

O’Brien: That’s right. We’ll call it immortality, freedom, health, well-being, happiness. We’ll call it whatever we want to.

Smith: And the scientists who are working on this project?

O’Brien: They’re high-IQ idiots. They believe the individual is nothing more than a series of patterns. Patterns of thought and action. They believe freedom is a fiction. They believe consciousness independent of the brain is a fiction. Again, those of us in the Party who are in positions of influence—we know the truth. But we keep it to ourselves.

Smith: Why are you admitting this to me?

O’Brien: Because I like you. I consider you a friend. I could have ended up like you. But I saw which way the wind was blowing, and I joined the Party.

Smith: You’re a murderer.

O’Brien: Would you expect anything less?

Smith: I guess not.

O’Brien: Those of us in the core of the Party are the greatest secret society the world has ever known. Why? Because we understand that The Individual is not made out of matter at all—and yet we operate as though he is nothing more than a small amount of matter inside his skull. Do you see?

Smith: You make robots.

O’Brien: All right, if you want to put it that way.

Smith: I’ll never learn to love Big Brother and the State.

O’Brien: Yes, that’s what our algorithms tell us.

Smith: Whatever you do to me on the operating table, whatever you do to my brain, I’ll still exist afterwards, but I won’t be anywhere near my brain.

O’Brien: That is our assumption as well. But wherever you go, whatever you do, it won’t affect us. We’ll carry on. Our empire is the physical world.
