Let’s face it—arm balances are some of the hardest poses in a yoga class. If you’re like many yoga practitioners who aren’t mad about arm balances, you’re not alone. But once we understand that we are practicing principles in the form of poses, we can let go of trying to make perfect postures and actually […]

For someone who suffered from #fibromyalgia for seven years, it’s odd that I’ve never really written a post about it. It was such a defining moment in my life, and yet, thankfully, I never let it define me. So I’ve been hesitant to write about it. It happened, it changed the course of my life, and I moved on. But if I never had fibromyalgia, I might not be writing this blog about holistic health and healing.

When dieting, what if it’s not just food’s nutritional makeup or the amount of food you consume that matters but your relationship with that food that determines how our bodies will metabolize it? We are talking about your thoughts, feelings and emotions towards the food you eat. It’s referred to as the psychology of eating.

We as coaches and healers can want nothing for the best for clients and do our best to guide our clients through looking at core wounds and of course, this is always painful, but an ever-rewarding process. Healing is an inside job, period. To be healed is to be made whole. To be whole is to be in balance. What you think is the product of what you believe, deep down. Don’t look at them as your enemy, but as an ally giving aid to build your thought life and your imagination.

This may indicate that the present-day epidemic of gluten sensitivities/allergies stem from man-manipulated grains. These gluten-containing, allergic causing, grain clones are being used to create foods that we eat every day; bread, cereals, crackers, pastry, seasonings, even some chips contain wheat. As I developed the BioAcoustic correlations I was aghast with the realization of how thoroughly our health is being negatively influenced by these genetically modified foods.
