When you commit to Love you commit to what is real. There is never a guarantee that a relationship will work out or that you will feel the same way 10 years from now, let alone 10 months from now. When you commit to loving then no matter what happens to the relationship you “win”. Whether you stay together or not, you grow, evolve and expand. What you can offer is the most authentic expression of your heart to your lover, moment to moment, with the intention of growing together.

We all experience empathy to some degree. Empaths, however, struggle to distinguish their own emotions from those of others. Highly Sensitive People are born with a physical sensitivity, that of a brain that is overly sensitive to stimuli of emotions, thoughts or activity. In many cases, HSP’s are so sensitive to subtleties within their environments that it allows them to feel the emotional changes within other people as well. However, not all HSPs are Empaths.

To love, trust and honor yourself is the ultimate foundation for any relationship. Real freedom is not necessarily doing whatever you want, whenever you want, with whomever you want. This is simply to be a slave to your desires. Remember that desires are fleeting and often endless. Real freedom is to be connected to your authentic self and making choices that are in alignment. Real freedom is a discipline of the heart. Real freedom is to sacrifice what is lesser for what is more. Real freedom is a commitment to love.

As humans, we have all sorts of needs – physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual. In fact, we have one major need in each of our chakras. As we meet these important needs, we naturally feel more fulfilled. Unfortunately, if we’re not consciously aware of our basic chakra needs and are not fulfilling them, our subconscious will try to fulfill them in ways that may be counterproductive to what we consciously want.

There are external forces that can help us develop willpower – like life-or-death circumstances where we have to save someone or sporting event situations where we get cheered on by a big crowd that wants us to make that big goal for out team. Most of us, though, aren’t in these kinds of special will-producing events. We need will power in more regular, day-to-day circumstances.
