Anybody who thinks outside of the box and challenges the status quo is an activist, which is why TrueActivist is honored to share the works of paddleboard artist Sean Yoro.
The artist, who also goes by the name Hula, has gained an Instagram following of over 100k people due to his grand works of arts which he creates while standing or sitting on a paddleboard.
Just take a look below for yourself! The Hawaiian-born painter and street artist, who now lives in NYC, ventures to abandoned buildings and docks to find the perfect canvases. While balancing on his paddleboard, he swipes various colors onto the sides of structures to leave works of arts that inspire passersby and social media followers.
His most recent work – called Lewa – is painted on the side of an abandoned shipping dock. As you can view below, the artistry depicts a woman gently reclining as if at the edge of a swimming pool.
This is one artist and activist who is pushing the boundaries of modern art.
