I used to get stressed out about pretty much everything. It didn’t take much to piss me off.

Today, I look back on my life years ago and wonder how I got through the day. It’s amazing how many concerns and worries I used to drag around with me! Maybe you can relate…

See, when you become an active student and practitioner of the Law of Attraction life can change in dramatic ways. For me, I’ve found that a lot of the big changes came in the form of worries I was able to let go of.

When you take an active stance to become more “positively-minded” you find you drop a lot of the drama and stress from your life. As you drop the worries, you start to realize that the worries were (ironically) the cause for the problems you were worried about in the first place.

Without the plethora of worries, problems magically begin to evaporate from your life.

In time, you start to fully comprehend that there’s just really no sense in worrying about anything. Without worry and stress, life becomes so much easier and more pleasant by default. When you really understand this concept, letting go of your worries becomes habitual.

So today, with this in mind, I’d like to share with you a few things I don’t give a damn about anymore thanks to the Law of Attraction. Each item on this list was something that SERIOUSLY bothered me a decade ago, but is not even remotely a concern for me today.

Things I don’t give a damn about anymore:

1. When things break or need repair.

If I’ve got the money, I fix it or replace it. Problem solved. Move on.

P.S., when you take this attitude rather than the “stress and worry about it” attitude, good things usually happen. You may find that on the back end of the repair is something really wonderful you never would have had if you hadn’t needed the repair in the first place.

2. Preparing for things in advance.

I’ve learned that if I am in a good mood and ready to tackle the day, everything gets done at the perfect time. All that extra hassle of getting things prepared “early” just killed my vibe, and didn’t make me any more efficient than I am now.

Trust the flow, it gets things done much more efficiently than any planning you could possibly do in advance.

3. If someone walks out of my life.

Hey, we’re all unique individuals, and not everyone is going to appreciate who we are and that’s ok. I’m too busy being the best me I can be to jump through hoops in an attempt to pull stragglers back into my life.

Maybe they’ll come back, and maybe they won’t, but I know my life will keep getting better regardless. Besides, when a door swings shut today I know for a fact another one just opened, and I’m excited to see what’s behind it.

There are great people all around you who will like you for exactly who you are. Stay open to those people, and let the ones who don’t appreciate you find better matches for themselves. You’ll all be better off.

4. Holding on to receipts.

Technology has made returns 1000% easier without having a receipt. And if I can’t return something, what’s the worst that happens? I’m out a little money. Whoop-dee-doo. I’lll make more.

I don’t plan for the worst case scenario anymore, and I’ve got a lot less paper floating around in my reality as a positive result.

5. Being interrupted by people.

I used to HATE when I was engrossed in a task and someone would call me, or stop me to talk or ask a question. Knowing what I know now though, I’m now much more open to the interruption.

I’ve found that when people interrupt me, it’s often because they are bringing me something I need or have asked for. You’d be surprised what amazing things come your way when you open up to people, rather than immediately shut them out.

6. When people get mad at me.

They’ll get over it, and if they don’t-oh well. Why should that be my problem?

I don’t expect to be perfect, and I don’t expect other people will be perfect either…so if someone wants to get mad at me for being imperfect, that’s on them-not me.

7. Traffic jams, road construction and “bad drivers.”

I used to think people were just getting in my way on the roads, almost as if on purpose! Now, when things like this happen, I assume either I am in a chaotic mood and attracted it, OR that I am being slowed down for a good reason.

Today, I know when I trust the journey, it is working out for me in the best possible way (even if it’s going slow). Turn on some good music and enjoy the drive.

8. People finding out my “secrets.”

I used to have a Real Housewives-caliber walk-in closet packed to the brim with skeletons I hoped no one would ever find. It was too much work trying to keep all of those secrets, so I let them all out.

The way I see it, if someone really takes offense to my openness with my checkered past, it’s probably because they themselves are struggling to keep their own skeletons from spilling out. I’m just too glad I’m no longer burdened by mine to worry about what other people think of them anymore.

How about you?

So how about you? Can you relate to any of these shifts or perhaps are there other things you’ve learned to let go of?

Feel free to share your thoughts and experiences below in the comments. I love reading them!
