Here are 7 things you can do every morning to be more alert for your day (the video above will explain the science behind each one):

1. Open the curtains and get bright daylight

2. End your shower with cold water.

3. Hydrate yourself well.

4. Eat a healthy breakfast.

5. Drink citrus juices like orange or grapefruit.

6. Do physical activity.

7. Listen to music.

Do all seven and you may never need coffee again!
