10 Tips to Treat Colds and Flu the ‘Natural’ Way

‘Tis the season for… colds and flus.  If you are unfortunate enough to get sick this holiday season, it’s best to immediately take measures to limit your down time and “get well soon.”  WebMd has a terrific article that lists “8 Tips to Treat Colds and Flu the ‘Natural’ Way” (click on link for details):

We at CLN would like to enthusiastically ad a couple things that work for us:

No. 9: Take zinc.  We aren’t talking about the syrupy forms of zinc that come in lozenges with only about 5-15 milligrams of zinc. Instead, get the 50 milligram straight supplements (white pills). (See: For Cold Virus, Zinc May Edge Out Even Chicken Soup)

No. 10: Take Vitamin C. One of the best forms is to drink grapefruit juice, because not only is it high invitamin C, but it’s also alkalizes your body (See: Can Vitamin C and Zinc Fight Colds?)
