Weekly UFO Sightings – August 1-7, 2012

The weekly roundup of UFO sightings, reported to M.U.F.O.N., is collected in a video by the paranormal researchers at fdex, this time out covering the first week of August, 2012.

A new wrinkle on the reporting is the inclusion of alternate theories for the unidentified flying objects photographed, and, in a few cases, caught on video, which kind of takes the fun out of it. Also, the creators enhance a few of the images, which is a nice touch.

All the cases were taken from an online database which gives all the details, like dates, times and places. Bear in mind these sightings are categorized by the date logged in at the Mutual UFO Network, not by the date they occurred.

Despite the bubble-bursting editorializing by the video makers, there are a few head scratchers in this group. In particular is the photo above, accidentally captured in Texas, as the witness snapped a few photos of an awesome thunderstorm rolling by.

The rest of the collection is worth the time taken on the 8-minute video, but the jarring soundtrack gets a bit tiresome.
