Did the UK Admit to Funding Syrian Rebels?_Featured_, Problem-Reaction-Solution Wednesday, March 7th, 2012
PressTV (Iran) reports that the UK government confessed to funding 2 million GBP to the Western-backed Syrian rebels fighting against the Assad regime.
The video of Cameron will soon appear on C-SPAN** so only time will vet out this claim however according to the PressTV article British Prime Minister David Cameron told the House of Commons Liaison Committee that the British government aided the rebels with cash and materials under the guise of ‘aid agencies’ (see Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution).
Are the so-called ’rebels’ really agent provocateurs? PressTV believes that this proves the Arab rebels actually originate from Europe (Britain or France). The UK and France drew up the first resolution at the UN Security Council requiring a no-fly zone in Libya which became what PressTV calls, “an all-out war against a sovereign member of the international community.”
So is Syria next on the chopping block? According to PressTV, Cameron said, “Britain would this week, continue to secure a United Nations Security Council resolution demanding an end to the violence and immediate humanitarian access”.
*** Update 3/7/2012: CSPAN Video confirms in the clip at 14:00 Cameron says they have the money and the funds have got within 4 km of Homs.
