Fake Syrian Lesbian Blogger Exposes Media Gullibility

For weeks the mainstream media including CNN and Time have been reporting about a blog called, “A Gay Girl in Damascus” but this week it was revealed that the “girl” is really an American man living in Scotland.   The trickster said that he did it to bring awareness to social issues in Syria but instead he may have done a disservice.  Read the full article here.


[Editor’s note:  Perhaps the mainstream should stick to what they should know, don’t report it unless you’ve cross referenced your sources and stop regurgitating what you see on “twitter” or Facebook.  Remember the first Iraq war in which the PR firm Hill and Knowlton reported that Iraqui soldiers were killing babies in their incubators?  That was a total lie.  Again with the alleged raped woman in Libya, it’s part of the problem, reaction, solution that continues to fool most of the masses.]
