Some people learn to disregard uncomfortable emotions, packing them neatly away to emerge in indirect and seemingly unrelated demonstrations. Others dramatically embrace these emotions, getting locked into a pattern loop that feeds on a defined perspective.

Neither disregarding nor dwelling in uncomfortable emotions provides for permanent healing. Acceptance, processing and releasing opens the door for emotional recovery and personal growth.  In every moment of anguish there is a decision about where to center attention. In any moment of now, people can buy into external sources of information or go within to the place of infinite joy, peace and opportunity.

Humanity is at a time of transformation, where following old rules for success no longer guarantee results and complacency is often no longer an option.  On one hand, we see unrealized expectations, economic crisis, health challenges, earth changes and political turmoil threatening individual and global survival. On the other, we see an awakening to the influences encouraging and perpetuating drone-like compliance to a system of deception, individuals taking personal responsibility for how their thoughts shape experience and enthusiastic support of what the general population can do to create a world of abundance for all.

Reflecting this state of upheaval and spiritual growth, “Sleepless Night” starts out as a dark rock song with passionate guitar and lyrics crying out in pain of isolation, transitions to a state of acceptance then ends with a magnificently smooth saxophone performance. “Sleepless Night” reflects feelings of disappointment, fear and depression many people feel, gently guiding the listener into a higher vibration of empowerment with embedded reminders about the power of focused intention, where resolution can begin.
