Senator Bob Graham Calls For Reopening of 9/11 Investigation

Senator Bob Graham is requesting a new investigation into the events surrounding the attacks on 9/11 after learning about recent new developments about a family of Saudis in Sarasota, Florida.  According to a story in the Broward Bulldog, two hijackers (which included Mohammed Atta) visited a Saudi family whose phone records link them to terror suspects.  Neighbors of the family claim the family left a week before 9/11.

Bob Graham feels that the Bush Administration purposely withheld this information from Congress.  Graham explains, “It tends to reaffirm the fundamental theory that the 19 hijackers were not acting alone… That they could have only completed such a complicated assignment as planning, practicing and executing a very sophisticated plot if they had assistance from people who spoke the English language, who were familiar with the culture of the United States and to provide them with protection, anonymity and support.”
