Ben Swann presents 5 problems (see below) with the CIA claim that Russia hacked the DNC/Podesta emails. On top of the 5 problems is one fundamental issue everyone is missing.  The claim is that Russia hacked the election – not by altering voting results – but by making public actual emails from the Clinton campaign and the DNC. In other words, the claim is that the Russian’s swayed the election for Donald Trump by revealing the TRUTH about the Clinton campaign and the TRUTH about the DNC.

Problem 1

The CIA did NOT officially release this information. Rather, anonymous sources inside the CIA leaked this “conclusion” to WaPo and NYT.

Problem 2

The anonymous sources did not provide any evidence to support the statements.

Problem 3

The CIA LIES! The agency has made numerous claims that have been proven to be untrue. In 2014, the Senate Intelligence Committee blasted the CIA for their ongoing “culture of misinformation.”

“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.” – Former CIA Director William Casey

Problem 4

CIA investigators do NOT agree on the assessment.

Problem 5

Julian Assange says that it was a leak (by an insider) and NOT a hack by Russia (or anybody else).

“I’ve met the person who leaked them, and they are certainly not Russian and it’s an insider. It’s a leak, not a hack; the two are different things.” – Craig Murry, former UK Ambassador to Uzbekistan

that article is by Whitney Webb, a poor choice for accurate information. Her articles are all over the web, distorting and twisting information into what benefits the Trump camp and the agenda of the right. Google her name and read some of her other “news” articles.

Further, your article “as proof” also appears on Daily Caller, one of the actual “fake news” sites that was set up for the intended purpose of falsely affecting US poliitics.
