In this video starting at the 2:40, M. Granger Morgan states: “First of all, of course, there is a lot of money getting spent to make sure that a very substantial portion of the public stays totally confused about this. And, I mean, it’s been really quite pernicious. But there’s been literally tens of millions of dollars spent on every little thing that comes along that might, you know, relate to some uncertainty.”
M. Granger Morgan is the head of the Department of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. In this video, he is speaking at a Council on Foreign Relations meeting on “Developing an International Framework for Geoengineering.” The transcript for the meeting can be found here (on the CFR website):

The Council on Foreign Relations
According to the Mission Statement on the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) website, the CFR outwardly claims to be “an independent, nonpartisan membership organization, think tank, and publisher dedicated to being a resource for its members, government officials, business executives, journalists, educators and students, civic and religious leaders, and other interested citizens in order to help them better understand the world and the foreign policy choices facing the United States and other countries.
However, behind the scenes, according to former CFR president, Winston Lord, the CFR runs the world: “The Trilateral Commission doesn’t run the world, the Council on Foreign Relations does that!”
The late Carroll Quigley (Bill Clinton’s mentor), Professor of History at Georgetown University, member of the CFR, stated in his book, “Tragedy & Hope”: “The CFR is the American Branch of a society which originated in England, and which believes that national boundaries should be obliterated, and a one-world rule established.”
Rear Admiral Chester Ward, a former member of the CFR for 16 years, warned the American people of the organization’s intentions: “The most powerful clique in these elitist groups have one objective in common — they want to bring about the surrender of the sovereingty of the national independence of the United States. A second clique of international members in the CFR comprises the Wall Street international bankers and their key agents. Primarily, they want the world banking monopoly from whatever power ends up in the control of global government.”
Dan Smoot, a former member of the FBI Headquarters staff in Washington, D.C., summarized the organization’s purpose as follows: “The ultimate aim of the CFR is to create a one-world socialist system, and to make the U.S. an official part of it.”
In one of the CFR’s annual reports, published in 1978, eleven of its members at the time were United States Senators, with even more Congressmen. 284 of its members were United States Government officials.
According to Jack Newell, who wrote “Why a Bankrupt America”: “Its members have run, or are running, NBC and CBS, ‘The New York Times’, ‘The Washington Post’, ‘The Des Moines Register’, and many other important newspapers. The leaders of ‘Time’, ‘Newsweek’, ‘Fortune’, ‘Business Week’, and numerous other publications are CFR members. The organization’s members also dominate the academic world, top corporations, the huge tax-exempt foundations, labor unions, the military, and just about every segment of American life.”

It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. We wouldn’t even be talking about this ridiculous idea of geoengineering the planet, the only home we have, the place God built, and the place that exist in a very fragile and not completely understood state if 6 billion people would not have been so easily duped into believing the even more ridiculous notion of global warming. The ignorance baffles me and now seemingly a large portion of the population is going to sit by and let these idiots spray even more pollution into the air we breathe. Hello!!! Ever heard of Venus and the Greenhouse effect. Okay so you “block” out a tiny tiny tiny tiny mere mere mere 1% of the suns “radiation” to “cool” the planet by 1 degree meanwhile every living thing on the planet including humans are now struggling to breathe an atmosphere of gaseous toxins. The trees are dying from the aluminum, so the carbon dioxide that we are emitting in everyday breathing is just being added to the toxic brew because there are no more healthy plants and trees to suck it all up, and our oxygen levels are dropping because the trees are dying and Oh remember humans and every other life form need oxygen to breathe. Our farms are all dead now because the global dimming has reduced the sunshine to the point that photosynthesis no longer takes place, so our plants and crops turn from green to brown and then die. Meanwhile, because these idiots that came up with this whole plan forgot to read their books on the causes and process of greenhouse gasses and effect, and they forgot about Venus, which in the long run, if we would have known that all they were really interested in was killing all of us they could have built a space ship and sent us all there it would have been cheaper. So anyway now that they have done all this and our atmosphere is now gas and there is no way for the heat that is created from the surface to escape, so it just adds to the mess down here and we actually do start to heat up, wow! Now all the sudden global warming actually does exist, and guess what our smart “leaders” created it…now we can all go and die and the ones that manage to live for a while can eat people, remember Cormac McCarthy’s book The Road. Now fast forward 3000 years some other life form on some other planet can look at ours and say, hey I wonder if we could ever terra- form that ugly gas ball of a planet that we see off in the distant.
From now and within the next ten years I’m going to try and visit every country I can and see as many beautiful things as I can, because with these geoengineers at the helm of a sorely misguided ship of over medicated and over technology stimulated “individuals” we are headed for disaster and death. Geoengineering yea really smart, you guys are brilliant!! Next time don’t smoke so much pot during science and astronomy.

ADDED 7/13/2009 FUND RAISING FOR A CURE At this point just stopping the chemtrails will not be nearly enough. It is becoming increasingly apparent to researchers that virtually the entire population has most likely been infected by chemtrail pathogens that cause Morgellons Disease. The government to date has basically done nothing to fund research to find a cure for the Morgellons problem.
Scientist, Clifford Carnicom has proven himself to be a dedicated and formidable researcher into Chemtrails/Morgellons for over a decade. Working on his own without funding he has managed to make many important discoveries about the nature of Morgellons disease and about the effects of chemtrails on the environment and the population. Chemtrails are real. They must be stopped.
Chemtrails are very real and they must be stopped by any means possible. Environmental groups such as the Sierra Club must be involved in multiple ways: publicity, rousing public awareness, advocacy for the end of such harmful and dangerous geoengineering programs and legal action involving class action lawsuits and Freedom of Information requests that can nail this crazy scheme once and for all, and finally injunctions that will bring it all to a halt.

I can’t find the source of this little piece of stupidity: “The ultimate aim of the CFR is to create a one-world socialist system, and to make the U.S. an official part of it.” and you are, supposedly, citing Dan Smoot, which, according to wikipedia, is a conservative, and from that, partial.
Socialist? the world has become a neoliberal crap fest, in which oligopolies do whatever they want, and destroy everything without any consequences for them…
Really, you must be really crazy, stupid and/or ignorant to believe your own B.S.; OR you are manipulative, like most of the people you “criticize”.
