Disgruntled UFO Researcher: Infowars Declares War On Exopolitics

Examiner.Com ran an article today by an author who claims Infowars has declared “war on alien invasion theories for London Olympics”. The author in question, Michael Salla (PhD), proposes that my recent article on alien invasion theories in effect comes down to a declaration of war on the field of, what Salla insists on calling “Exopolitics” (a description that rolls into one the concepts of extraterrestrials and geopolitics). This would be the first time that questioning the mainstream media’s efforts in blowing out of proportion the “alien factor” would equal a declaration of war. Salla proposes that investigating the more than average interest of the mainstream media for alien invasion theories inflicts “collateral damage on long standing research efforts to reveal an extensive international official cover-up of extraterrestrial life.” Salla:

“By launching a preemptive strike against the upcoming BBC conspiracy theory special, Maessen and Watson hope to debunk claims of an alien invasion theory during the Olympics. A sensible position to take given the paucity of information that such an event could really occur. Yet, they and Infowars.com are effectively inflicting collateral damage on long standing research efforts to reveal an extensive international official cover-up of extraterrestrial life, and how this influences geopolitics – a relatively new international disciplinary approach called “exopolitics”. In effect, Infowars.com has declared war on the field of exopolitics entering into alternative media discourse on false flag events, in an effort to debunk an improbable alien invasion theory of the London Olympics.”

Quoting from my ExplosiveReports.Com article The Aliens Are Coming: Psychological Programmers Versus The Alternative Media and Paul Joseph Watson’s PrisonPlanet.Com article UFO Invasion at Olympics 2012 is Y2K-style Hysteria, Salla writes:

“The BBC is focusing its new documentary about “conspiracy theorists” around the premise that aliens will invade London during the Olympics. This entire meme is clearly being pushed by the establishment to discredit the truth movement.” Maessen agrees and argues: “the alien connection is being pushed by the establishment to divert attention away from the documented reality of false flag operations and to undermine those exposing them.”

“The implication here according to Infowars.com”, Salla goes on to say, “is that exopolitics research needs to be ghettoized and sifted out of the alternative media in order not to contaminate genuine research on 9/11 and 7/11 as false flag operations.”

This, of course, is exactly what we are not saying. Investigations into ufo’s and “exopolitics” are not damaging to “the” alternative media. If they were, the alternative media would have long since been broken beyond repair. Its strength after all lies in its inclusion of all kinds of views, research and operations. Unlike the monolithic mainstream media, the alternative media is full of opposing views and discussions and is therefore perfectly capable of recovering from any “damage” inflicted.
