The Daily Tarot girl, Kate, uses a brand new deck this week: The Everyday Witch Tarot by Deborah Blake.

Here’s what she sees for May 1-8:

Monday – Tuesday: ACE OF SWORDS

Start fresh and take initiative. The sword in this card invites you to cut through any excuses you’ve been making. Also, this card represents great new ideas, so don’t be surprised if you come up with some great actionable solutions and ideas. Be receptive and willing to take action. Just take the first step. If you work too hard at trying to figure it all out, it will lead to you feeling down by midweek.

Wednesday – Thursday: FOUR OF CUPS

This card comes up when you’re feeling bored or unenthused. This could signify that, at this juncture, you could be feeling a bit disappointed with the progress of what started. The problem may be that you’re trying to figure it all out too much. Don’t overthink it. Relax a bit.

Weekend: FOUR OF SWORDS

Another four! Fours are interesting. They represent when the energy of a suit comes to a lull. So four in the swords suit, which is related to the mind, relates to letting your mind rest and being very light with your brain activity. Try to engage in mentally relaxing (even frivolous) activities, so you can recharge.
