According to demonstration organizers, more than 2,000 U.S. military veterans plan to form a human shield to protect protesters against the North Dakota Access Pipeline, in response to a federal deadline that pressures peaceful activists to evacuate the camp they have been occupying.
If the Yemen files released by WikiLeaks prove anything, it is that, once again, American intervention in the Middle East has, at best, been carried out on behalf of its “allies.” At worst, it has been carried out by corrupt U.S. officials with financial ties to the Saudi Kingdom.
Senator Cory Booker sent a letter to US Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who heads the US Department of Justice, demanding they conduct a civil rights investigation into allegations of violence against both law enforcement as well as the protestors, who are chiefly composed of Native Americans. He also urged Lynch to send federal monitors to the site “to ensure that protestors can peacefully assemble and exercise their First Amendment rights.”
‘Divide.’ That seems to be the keyword around collective consciousness as we steer our attention away from the 2016 election campaign and on to what will happen next. Media and elite push to divide the masses by trying to convince us to focus on who is to blame for this election. Gender, age, socioeconomic status, left, right, alt-right, and even nationality. But it’s all a massive distraction.
A situation is unfolding as you read this. A live feed with currently 60k people watching, 56k comments and 80k shares (and growing) is being shown on Facebook. Kevin Gilbert seems to be the only LIVE feed coming from Standing Rock at a police blockade on a bridge on HWY 1806. They are using extreme force on unarmed, peaceful water protectors.
Steve Bannon, Trump’s inside man, his chief strategist and senior counselor, is different. No question about that. What he creates for Trump and the American people remains to be seen. But when was the last time you saw an anti-mainstream-media man, a virulent ridiculer of major media, a high-profile figure in independent media (Breitbart) sit this close to the president of the United States?
The North Dakota Access Pipeline protests rage on. The latest comes today when a Dakota Access company resumed construction of its pipeline that is said to run under the Missouri River after requests from Army Corps were ignored to wait as they assess re-route options. The protesters call themselves water protectors. The Missouri is their main source of water and they are protecting the land, water, and air of ancient native burial grounds. Camps formed back in April and protests began in August.
Whether you voted for Clinton or Trump or were Rand Paul, Bernie Sanders supporters or even backed that (anything but) Libertarian Party, you sided with morality brands. A lot of them carried more or less identical messages, when boiled down.
The TPP would have given the national sovereignty of all 12 member nations away to corporate interests, allowing corporations to effectively control national legislatures by suing governments over laws with the potential to cut into their profits.
Some of the anti-Trump protests in the US have been organized by groups that were sponsored by Clinton sympathizer and billionaire George Soros.
Among Wikileaks’ Podesta emails was a strategy document involving the Soros-supported MoveOn.org and grassroots organizing and funding.
Voters in Florida, Montana, North Dakota, and Arkansas voted on medical marijuana while California, Nevada, Arizona, Massachusetts, and Maine voted on the recreational use of marijuana for people over the age of 21. All of these initiatives passed except for Arizona, where pharmaceutical companies donated insane amounts of money to keep marijuana use illegal in the state.
This is about lifting the veil on a system that we have to choose to no longer stand for. Despite these revelations, which will be discussed within this article, there are still many people watching, believing, and feeding into all of the drama and distraction that takes place…It’s time for us to wake up to a few facts about politics that clearly show how the entire system is broken, and how we must begin discussing different options.
It turns out that several money bundlers for Hillary Clinton—Fredrick D. Schaufeld, Karen Schaufeld, Sonjia Smith, Michael Bills—donated significant sums to Jill McCabe, who was running for the state senate in Virginia, in 2015. Well, Jill McCabe’s husband is an assistant FBI director, Andrew McCabe, who was involved in the Hillary email scandal investigation. You know, the investigation that falsely exonerated Hillary.
Heard of taxation? Who gets the lion’s share of tax revenue? The bankers, for it is a system invented by the bankers to channel our wealth into their pockets. What’s the greatest crime you’re told to imagine? Tax evasion. Which is why, in a recent case in Germany, a gang which multiple raped and tortured an underage girl were let off with a caution but those who pay less tax than the bankers have decreed they ought to always go to prison.
The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISA) is packed with hidden surveillance allowances. It was quietly passed to allow government to demand that private companies hand over personal information to them at will. It also allows companies to mine data, under the auspices of government-created urgency.
