Obama Awarded JFK Medal of Courage After 8 Years of Drone Bombings

Obama’s ended up being the first president in U.S. history to be at war for the entire duration of his presidency, averaging a whopping 72 bombs a day dropped on foreign countries, most of which were majority Muslim nations. “Every Tuesday — reported the New York Times — he personally selected those who would be murdered by mostly hellfire missiles fired from drones. Weddings, funerals, shepherds were attacked, along with those attempting to collect the body parts festooning the “terrorist target”. A leading Republican senator, Lindsey Graham, estimated, approvingly, that Obama’s drones killed 4,700 people. “Sometimes you hit innocent people and I hate that,” he said, but we’ve taken out some very senior members of Al Qaeda.”” ~John Pilger

How A Real War On Terrorism Would Look And Why The US Isn’t Fighting One

Since 2001, when then US President George Bush announced his “War on Terror,” presidents and politicians both in the United States and among America’s allies, have repeated this phrase and have done their utmost to convince the public that indeed, the West was fighting a “War on Terror.” Yet there is something disturbingly ambiguous about what exactly the “War on Terror” consists of, who it’s being waged against and how it could ever possibly be brought to a successful conclusion.

‘Without Sufficient Intelligence,’ Trump Raid Kills Yemeni Children, US Service Member

Quoting unnamed U.S. military officials, Reuters reported Wednesday that the covert operation was approved by the president “without sufficient intelligence, ground support, or adequate backup preparations.” The U.K.-based humanitarian group Reprieve issued a statement saying it had “evidence that many as 23 civilians were killed in the US raid, including a newborn baby boy, and ten children.”
