Watch this video footage of Rep. Tulsi Gabbard introducing the “Stop Arming Terrorists Act,” which she presented last Thursday. In her presentation of the bill, Gabbard cited prominent publications such as the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal to show that the rebels the U.S. is supporting in Syria are aligned with al-Nusra (which is essentially al-Qaeda in Syria).
The case was brought against Bush by Sundus Shaker Saleh, an Iraqi woman who charges Bush and high-ranking officials in his administration with breaking international and US law by planning and executing the invasion and subsequent occupation of Iraq. Saleh maintains that Bush and his colleagues are guilty of the “crime of aggression,” which was defined as the “supreme international crime” at the 1946 Nuremberg Trials.
In the midst of the corporate media’s sudden headline-blaring apoplexy over fake news, you won’t hear much about the government’s role in producing, planting and peddling propaganda-driven fake news—often with the help of the corporate news media—because that’s not how the game works.
As it stands right now, no one knows for sure who hacked into the DNC, or who gave those emails to WikiLeaks. No one knows for sure if it was Russia, or what its true intent was if Russia was the culprit. However, if during this next briefing, the FBI, CIA, or any other three-letter federal agency authenticates and validates the emails that were leaked by WikiLeaks that exposed all of this criminal conduct, I’m curious if these same members of Congress will do their job and refer the matter to the FBI for criminal investigation.
“The only path forward that makes sense,” write journalists at The Intercept, “is for Obama to order the release of as much evidence as possible underlying the reported ‘high confidence’ of U.S. intelligence agencies that Russia both intervened in the election and did so with the intention of aiding Trump’s candidacy.”
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange stated that the emails provide definitive proof that the United States CIA is “essentially responsible for creating ISIS”.
On Sunday, the US Army Corps of Engineers denied an easement for the pipeline to cross Lake Oahe, meaning the DAPL would need to be rerouted. Shortly after that declaration, however, ETP and SXL released their own statement, making it very clear that the companies have no intention of delaying or stopping construction… A ‘victory’ might have been obtained yesterday, but the ‘fight’ is far from over.
According to demonstration organizers, more than 2,000 U.S. military veterans plan to form a human shield to protect protesters against the North Dakota Access Pipeline, in response to a federal deadline that pressures peaceful activists to evacuate the camp they have been occupying.
Pedophilia scandals continue to emerge around the world year after year while the corporate media and law enforcement agencies alike fail to treat the sexual exploitation of minors as a global, systemic problem. As the number of child abuse scandals involving the rich and powerful continue to grow, it is becoming impossible to cover up that these instances of child sexual abuse and exploitation are globally organized and often run by the very same people who greatly influence society and politics.
Senator Cory Booker sent a letter to US Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who heads the US Department of Justice, demanding they conduct a civil rights investigation into allegations of violence against both law enforcement as well as the protestors, who are chiefly composed of Native Americans. He also urged Lynch to send federal monitors to the site “to ensure that protestors can peacefully assemble and exercise their First Amendment rights.”
A recent report in the Washington Post claimed that a “sophisticated [Russian] propaganda campaign” has been propagating fake news through outlets that include the Ron Paul Institute. Ron Paul fires back as to the real source of fake news.
At Standing Rock, we’ve seen militarized police, riot and camouflage gear, armored vehicles, mass arrests, pepper spray, tear gas, batons, strip searches, and rones. Less-than-lethal weapons unleashed with deadly force. Rubber bullets. Water cannons. Concussion grenades. Arrests of journalists. Intimidation tactics. Brute force. This is what martial law looks like, when a government disregards constitutional freedoms and imposes its will through military force. Only this is martial law without any government body having to declare it… Our greatest defense against home-grown tyranny has always been our strength in numbers as a citizenry.
‘Divide.’ That seems to be the keyword around collective consciousness as we steer our attention away from the 2016 election campaign and on to what will happen next. Media and elite push to divide the masses by trying to convince us to focus on who is to blame for this election. Gender, age, socioeconomic status, left, right, alt-right, and even nationality. But it’s all a massive distraction.
Today is the 53rd anniversary of the JFK assassination (which occurred on November 22, 1963). Do you think its coincidence that Kennedy wrote a letter to the head of the CIA demanding their research on alien life and UFOs just days before his death? The author weighs in.
