Monday sees the Sun switch into Taurus, the 2nd sign of the Zodiac, with an Earth Element, and a Fixed quality
It felt really weird to type Aries so close to Taurus just now, because Aries sucks at sharing and has less in common with fixed earth Taurus than just about anyone in the astrology realm. Where Taurus is grounded, Aries is volatile, where Taurus is slow, Aries is fire-fast. Taurus is ruled by Venus in her Aphrodite-est form and Aries is Mars, through and through.
This week is dominated by two very powerful planetary aspects.
When so many undeniable patterns are found within and so many tangible connections can be made between energy, the fabric of our very universe and the spiral to and from infinite creation, we would be rather naïve to deny that there are answers hidden in these vast mathematical mysteries. And for anyone who has seen the Matrix movies, you will get where I’m going when I say that what is going on with the number 9, and the fractal patterns in nature and reality, is perhaps a simulation, a holographic projection of time-space and perhaps all that ever truly exists is our perceptions.
For last two weeks of April we experience much fiery energy with two pitta planets in a pitta sign! The Sun in Aries brings desire to lead and initiate and we are enthusiastic and spontaneous. We feel empowered, ambitious, and in charge.
Mars is forging a sextile with Neptune from Tuesday, but this is one of those aspects which can have some tricky sides to it
I carry Libra as my rising sign and as I grow into my ascendant (or try to) I feel the two faces of Gemini soften into one wise, lovely and compassionate gaze. This, to me, is Libra. Sure, she has some people pleasing issues and trouble maintaining her autonomy from time to time. She can get a little caught up in making sure everyone has the same and everything is aligned and appropriate, but when she rises in the total lunar eclipse of this full moon, the same weekend as numerous religious holy days, I see her as the spirit of love.
If you’re almost 30 & your life feels like it’s hitting the skids, there is a perfectly rational — & astrologically sound! — reason. That reason is that you’re experiencing your first Saturn return. Oh yes, indeed
This week sees the Sun forging a wonderful Trine with Jupiter.
The Sun Trines up with Saturn this week.
A total solar eclipse speaks to great changes and potent new beginnings. The spring equinox is a moment of alignment between dark and light before light regains momentum, thrusting us into longer days and warming nights. New moons mark the opening of the monthly cycle and are always the best time for new intentions. All of these events occurring together, especially after some of the current planetary alignments that have been happening recently, is big.
Through to Friday Mercury passes over Neptune in Pisces
All week Uranus combined with the conjunction in Mars squares Pluto
When water and earth work together as they are right now, Pisces bringing cleansing rain that lulls us into a state of deep dreaming and rest, preparing us as the offering of water into earth; earth as Virgo that is working to awaken for the upcoming spring equinox, full of seed and potential soon to blossom and bring abundance.
