Ben Swann: RNC and DNC Ignore Delegates With Scripted Platform Vote [video]
_Featured_, Politics, Videos Sunday, September 9th, 2012
Ben Swann Reality Check looks at how the DNC scripted a vote to change the party’s platform one week after the Republican leadership did the same thing at the RNC.
Swann: “For the casual observer, the presidential election will be the same script as usual: Republicans versus Democrats vying for the White House. But, there is a much bigger theme developing. Regardless of whether you are in the Republican Party or the Democratic Party, you don’t really have a voice. Both parties are just running over the views and the values of the people that they are supposed to represent in those parties. First it happened at the RNC and now at the DNC.”
Watch the video as leaders at both the RNC and DNC ignore the votes of the attendees because the outcomes were scripted in advance (as shown in the image above).
What you need to know is that the national media is missing the real story here… What happened at the RNC and DNC, proves that the party bosses really don’t care what delegates think. They don’t care what the people think. And, unless the grassroots of both parties stand up now and push back, the national conventions will now simply become coronations.
