Every free election process is an opportunity to change conscious focus of a nation to the will of the people.  The 2000 US presidential election was contentiously historic with Al Gore winning the popular vote but possibly due to technicalities and influence, lost Florida’s Electoral College votes and the election to George W. Bush.  People on both sides of an almost exclusively two-party political system felt the world had fundamentally changed.  About half the population celebrated as the other half feared the ramification.

Then acts of mass violence and devastation in New York City propelled the western world into transformation between the perceived darkness and light of ignorance and awakening.  A familiar world evaporated in a dystopic charade of normalcy with paralyzing vulnerability.   A once proud and prosperous people used to living beyond means justified surrender of freedom for protection in a state of righteous indignation and revenge.

Patriotism trumped freedom of expression and tyrannical lines were drawn in the sand.  “You’re either with us or against us” became the new mantra demanding blind loyalty to what was to become the country’s longest and the undeclared war on humanity.  Battleground Earth against a faceless enemy raged forward in a desperate self-preservation mode of violence.

Questioning authority became grounds for insults targeted at anyone who dare question the scripted sound bites, marginalizing outspoken activists and disenfranchising influential dissenters.  A terrified people flocked to leaders for protection in a disempowered surrender of critical thought in pursuit of the answer.

US 2008 Election was perceived as another chance to change the world.  The people chanted “Yes We Can!” and made history by electing the nation’s first bi-racial man as President Of The United States, Barack H. Obama.  People on both sides of that same two-party system felt a world altering shift.  The new president and his supporters claimed a mandate to enact long needed protections as the rest feared consequences.

Campaign promises dissolved in compromise under uncooperative résistance to present an appearance of fulfillment from which to build.  The Obama administration boasted a long overdue overhaul of medical insurance and financial protection laws. Democrats lost control of both Houses of Congress in midterm elections.  Opposition amplified, drawing accusation and blame for less than expected results until the next election cycle.

The US 2016 Presidential Election descended into a scripted reality TV series. A complicit centrally owned and operated media blurred the illusion of choice, air-brushing the halo effect over established, famous and influential Washington insider Hillary Clinton and demonized an outspoken powerful billionaire and television star Donald Trump.  Supporters on both sides enraged and attacked people on the other side.  Families and friendships ripped apart due to polar perception variances in factions of the population over the only two perceived choices labeled “good” and “evil”.

Then on November 8, 2016 with the whole world watching in judgment, wild card Trump lost the popular vote and won the election.  The media managed a cognitive dissonance meltdown on live television announcing the decision.  The next morning the population wiped their eyes in disbelief as they witnessed what looks to be an orderly transition of power, despite controversial discoveries and a viciously relentless and vindictive battle for power.

Americans once again sit at the dawn of a powerful and conscious shift of collective focus.  Significant and volatile energies of transformation shine upon the American people divided in fear and hostility.  Now more than ever, humanity is invited to search within for the only lasting solution, the restoration of love consciousness.  “The Answer” is a song produced a decade ago, inspired with an intention of promoting enduring peace.  The music video is a prayer for inner peace to those locked in panic, fear and outrage over what they perceive to be a caustic shift and a prayer for world peace and good stewardship of our planet to those steering the fate of America.

The Answer (Is Love)

The Answer

Ignorance disturbs the dance.

Anger explodes and trust erodes.

From we to I then start to cry.

The answer is love.

Poverty invades the chi.

Famine kills the inner will.

To see the plight then start a fight.

The answer is love.

When will the wars end (I don’t really know)?

Who can we call friend (I don’t really know)?

It’s time for peace when (I don’t really know)?

What’s up until then (I don’t really know)?

Who is in charge here I don’t really know)?

What is the real fear (I don’t really know)?

Is our intent clear (I don’t really know)?

How is the end near (I don’t really know)?

Jealousy consumes the weak.

Greedy minds are rarely kind.

Deceitful ways too often pay.

The answer is love.

Prejudice distorts the bliss,

corrupts the faith creating hate.

Emotions soar.  We start a war.

The answer is love.

Righteousness from east to west.

Retaliate till it’s too late.

The body count begins to mount.

The answer is love.

Violence destroys the fence.

Vengeful thoughts are often taught.

Forgiving themes are rarely seen.

The answer is love.

Forgiveness.  Begin to bless.

Our open arms will cause no harm.

To understand and lend a hand.

The answer is love.

Unity for all to see.

Evolve the mind and soon you’ll find

truth within replaces sin.

The answer is love.
